Best gyro and lentil soup I’ve ever had. This is a very unique, one of a kind, owner-operated Mediterranean restaurant. A must try, if you like Mediterranean food. I asked for my meal to be packaged “to go” in case I ran out of time, and they accommodated my request.

This review is tough to write because, this is the third time I have had the same experience recently. Tonight I got the half order of chicken and rice - and again the chicken is dry, so dry that even the sauce provided doesn't help cut the dryness. The rice is delicious- but having to use the sauce means I can't taste as much of the rice. I upgraded to a platter and got a salad - lettuce, onion, not quite ripe tomatoes and bananna peppers with cheese. It was crisp and delicious. I also got the Baba Ganoush - I couldn't finish it. It was bland and I get much better at a couple other places. I was disappointed because most places serve a whole pita with their Baba- I got 3/4 with my dinner. My husband got the beef and lamb gyro with fries. His was delicious and as tasty as always. The fries are hand cut and have a nice dusting of spices. The gyro was filled with fresh lettuce, onion. He only had 4 banana peppers on it and would have like a couple more rings. (He asked for no tomato). He didn't finish all of the gyro at dinner. With so many Mediterranean and Greek options in the immediate area, the owner may wish to reimagine the way they prepare chicken because it didn't taste as fresh as it should. Sad to give this place 3 stars. We did not see the owner tonight, he is really very nice and friendly.

I’ve been here several times & taken new people here as well, everyone has loved it and I love it too. It’s my new comfort food. I always get a Greek salad and chicken lemon soup. Their pita bread is amazing and the sauce they serve with it is my favorite. The prices are very fair for the quality of food you’re getting. I always crave this place and this is my go to when i don’t know what else to get.

Very friendly staff and quick service. It's hard to explain but the gyro has such a unique taste to it. Very smooth sauce as the olive oil cuts the sharpness to create a perfect blend. Can't wait to try other menu items when I'm back in town!

As a teacher taking a large group anywhere, one can understand the importance of promptness and organization. I contacted the restaurant a week before our visit to prepare them as well as our group in order to get in and out as quickly as possible and eliminate as much chaos as possible. I was able to arrange a limited menu, give orders ahead of time, and have our group in and out in a timely manner. The service and owners are extremely kind, attentive, and have extraordinary customer service. I would definitely take a group back again. It was a wonderful experience for my students, as well as myself as an educator taking a group.

We've been here twice for lunch and were instant fans. Great food, great service. Informal and fast. The server went out of his way to try to find carb info for me. I love that they have gyro meat - just a plate of meat - on the menu. And they pass the true test of any Mediterranean restaurant, IMO: the baklava is made with honey.

Nazareth checks all the boxes for me: Excellent food, friendly staff, fair prices and a comfortable atmosphere. Best food I’ve had since moving to Columbus. Highly recommend the gyro.

I can't tell you how many times I have driven by and thought hmm that sounds good. Finally took the plunge and gave it a go! The food was so good! Served hot and decently priced. Ordered the veggie dinner, at first I thought the serving size was a little small but between the hummus and pickled veggies it was more than enough, good value for $16. I had a bite of the lamb and oh my was it tender and juicy. So tasty! A couple things that I would recommend for improvement. 1. The walls were very dirty, they need to be washed. That was the reason why I'm only giving a 4 out of 5 stars. 2. The menu is digital, at least I believe that is what the deal was, we didn't get a menu and had to struggle to get it to pop up via the QR code (code was ripped on the table). Another table came in and they were giving paper menus (I'm not old but I do like a menu..what if someone didn't have a smart phone or internet access?). Overall I was impressed with the food. One of the kids/servers was great, he was very attentive and asking if we needed anything. I did not catch his name. Hamilton Rd has A LOT of construction going on making the area busy and a little difficult to get in and out of, luckily there is a service road that runs behind the business and has light access. Parking can be a little tight but plenty of parking. Overall, check it out!

Delicious, absolutely delicious! And they had no problem serving our group of 26 in a timely manner. The service was very quick and efficient! And the staff was very nice. As a teenager who has not had much of this type of food, I would love to eat more! My brother took part of my euro though :( .

Great restaurant. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Food was delicious. My only complaint is that there could have been more meat on the Gyro and it had and overbearing amount of lettuce on it and wish there was mustard for the Fried Bologna sandwich. The manager even came out and checked on our well-being. Nice touch.

We ate lunch at Nazareth today and we will NEVER return there again. First of all we used to love this restaurant before they moved. The owner was so kind and nice to the customers. However, we had a very bad experience yesterday and we will NEVER return to this restaurant EVER! We each ordered ice tea to drink. The tea was served without ice, no lemon and we were never offered a refill. The tea was room temperature. It was $3.00/ glass. I ordered the rice which on the menu it was described and having caramelized onion and cumin and other spices. What came was served in a small square dish. There was not one shred of onion only the rice and a few lentils. There was no taste or smell of spice. No cumin or any other flavor. I paid extra for some gyro meat. There was a small amount of meat on top but it looked like a bowl of dog food. The presentation was horrible. My spouse ordered a gyro and fries. The his food was average the fries were hot but a small serving. The bill came to $32.00. Quite a bit for a very disappointing lunch. Also note that we were the only customers in the restaurant at the time. There were at least three young employees working. They paid no attention to us but were making quite a bit of noise amongst themselves. The waiter never came to check on us. I had to go ask for the check and when he brought it I expressed my disappointment in the rice and he just shrugged his shoulders. The only reason I am posting this review is to save someone else from wasting their time and money.

The food, service, and atmosphere here are awesome and very family friendly. I look forward to returning someday to eat here. I do not live close by. I live in another state. It is definitely worth the stop. The food is very moderately priced for what you get and the food is so remarkable that I don't have words to describe it, and that doesn't happen often.

First time dining at Nazareth at 5 pm on Sat night in late November 2023. They weren't very busy and we ordered food to go. The dining room was open airy and nice. The cashier taking our order was nice and helpful. But the food was 3-stars at best. The chicken in all our dishes was very dry and flavorless. Not marinated. Not seasoned at all. Just bland protein. We had to add vigorous amounts of salt and their house dressing to provide any flavor. The side of French fries were equally inedible and went right into the trash. The cinnamon rice and pita bread were the only bright spots in our $70 dinner. I probably won't return unless they introduced an actual entree plate with a piece of protein grilled fresh. Because storing bits and pieces in a vat is like eating cafeteria food. So disappointing as we've been searching for a good Mediterranean/Middle Eastern restaurant in Central Ohio for years and still haven't been satisfied.

Spicey Gyro was outstanding. Huge portion size. Grape leaves were yum( Maybe not quite as good as homemade) but good none the less. 4 adults 1 Teen. 80$ Very reasonable.

Spicy chicken on rice is that dish here. I've literally never ordered any other offering. It's that good. I think about it not infrequently. Nazareth always be bringing me back for that chicken on rice. Idk what's in it, but it's magical.

This was my first time at Nazareth Restaurant. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma and I also got a side of hummus. Both were excellent! I was impressed with the menu, too. Nice variety of food and decent prices! Staff is very friendly. I love Middle Eastern food and there are very few of these restaurants in town especially ones that are reasonably priced, so I think this is a gem of a place!

Not as flavorful as I was anticipating. I've heard for years how great this place is. I ordered the chicken gyro and it was dry. Good but order it with extra sauce (which is great). Also, the fries are really good and HUGE so split them. No alcohol which is fine. Very attentive staff and friendly. Great lunch spot I am guessing. We went on a friday evening and it was dead but that was cool with us.

Love love love this place! What can I say? Hany has had his ups and downs over his career owning this place, but I can't think of a better guy to patronize his establishment. Absolutely the best spicy chicken and rice in the city. Get extra sauce! And awesome fries.

Picked up takeout, chicken shawarma and gyro. Both were delicious with a great portion of fries on the side. Definitely recommend if you are looking for great Mediterranean food in the area!

I really loved the food, but the service was the best. Our server was very very nice unfortunately I forgot her name but she had a scarf on. We were kind of a big group and she took a very very good care of us even though she was so busy because it was a Friday night. I wanted to write this review because she deserves it and that was our first time and definitely we will be back to see her again!!

The staff was very friendly but seemed a bit inexperienced and made a few mistakes. The manager was very gracious. The food here is decent.

Got the chicken gyro, Greek salad and fries. Salad was ok but over dressed. Gryo was very dry with no flavor. Frys were ok but overcooked. Will not return.

Great Mediterranean restaurant! They have a good selection and many favorites. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Our order was taken and not before long our food was served. I really enjoyed the spicy chicken bowl. I recommend it!😀

Good atmosphere, good service, good food. There were three of us. We each had a gyro with fries. Regular, spicy and spicy chicken. Pro tip. If you get the gyro and fries combo, eat the gyro over the fries. That way all the goodness dropping out falls onto the fries. Your welcome. 😎

Finally visited this restaurant after years of admiring from afar. Menu has more to choose from than expected and they seemed quite willing to customize as desired. I was surprisingly disappointed at the Lamb Shish Kabob that had maybe 3 thin slices of peppers and 1 or 2 thin slices of onion. The lamb was very good and really liked the homemade hot sauce they provided. My son loved his order of lamb on rice. The baklava was excellent!
