Don't judge a restaurant by its external appearance. The restaurant is in an odd little strip mall but once you enter the second door, it is a well decorated and updated, small restaurant. There are only about eight tables total in the place and about two staff members on the floor, so don't expect a big chain experience. This restaurant has delicious, homemade entrees, with a wonderfully personalized experience. Be prepared for a relaxed evening of deliciousness!

My wife and I were given this restaurant as a suggestion for our anniversary and it was nothing short of phenomenal. We were greeted by the Chef and sat immediately. Our server was attentive, engaging and explained everything with great detail and professionalism. The meal was the best I’ve had in Columbus. Everyone did an amazing job. From the chef to the bartender. Cannot recommend enough.

Truly the most amazing Italian meal you can get in Columbus. Chef/Owner David is a gem and a true professional. The place is small so you need to make reservations. If you have never been you are missing out.

A personal, phenomenal, authentic Italian experience. Walking through the door I was greeted warmly by the head chef and then was shown to my table. After being recited the specials by our water we order a few drinks and begin to make the impossible decision between the options, they all sound phenomenal! In the end I settle on the unsexy "veal loaf," but damn if it wasn't absolutely delicious! The blend of the stuffed veal was rich but delicious and the mushroom marsala sauce was decidant. Absolutely will return here, had an amazing first experience! Highly recommend!

This was a girls night out-except one tiny 8 week old boy was allowed to dine with us. My daughter-in-law and a 3 year old accompanied me for a fun night of fine dining. The atmosphere was dark and romantic and made for a special night for our little princess. We had lobster ravioli, a layered meat lasagna wtih fettuccine alfredo as one of the layers-oh yeah-fabulous. The dessert was orange sorbetto served in a frozen orange, every 3 year old's delight. Finished with a great coffee, made perfectly. When we stopped by the kitchen to say thanks to Chef, he asked her what the fav part of the meal was and of course she said the buttered noodles! Life is good for these girls dining out at Pasqualone's in Columbus Ohio.

What a great little hideaway restaurant! Pasqualone's is a 10 table restaurant with intimate serving of fine Italian dishes. Reservations are the only way to get a table, unless you are very, very fortunate. The restaurant is quiet, wonderfully decorated and provides the perfect mood for a laid back , no rush meal. The staff is exceptional. Plenty of knowledge of the menu and accoutrements...thanks Chris! There is a very nice wine selection and mixed drinks are available if you prefer. Chef Dave is right on with the menu and the food itself is exceptional. Everything is planned out for the best possible experience. The rolls and rich butter, just magnificent Burrata, followed by a palette cleansing salad, then of course, the main event. Everything coming from the kitchen looked and smelled devine. The lasagna was like no other, rich with alfredo in the middle surrounded by braised pork. Wow! The delicious deserts offered were the perfect finish to a charming evening. Warning. This is not a hurry up and eat restaurant. Take your time, relax and enjoy. You deserve it!

A diamond in the rough, this is a fabulous place to dine and enjoy the company you're with. A quaint little Italian restaurant. The staff were all very nice, thorough, and professional. They were trained to put the customer first. The food was delicious. Absolutely delicious! The drinks were amazing. So freaking good! We attended for a 12 person birthday party, this was a perfect place and so glad it was chosen. Highly recommend.

This is a truly remarkable restaurant with fantastic food and excellent service! I reserved a table for 4 by calling their phone and leaving a voicemail. I also sent a message via their web site. Later the same day the owner/chef, David, called me back and also replied to my mail confirming the reservation. Very nice personal touch! I immediately liked the place even before eating there. When I arrived with my family, David personally met and greeted us, stepping out from his kitchen. We then were seated in a cozy room, and got introduced to a vast variety of day's special meals by a gentleman who knew all these dishes by hart. By the time he finished describing all the dishes, we already forgot half of them! Then we were given menus and after consultations with the server we chose to order an antipasto (mixed meats, cheeses, tomatoes and olives), a lasagna, a veal loaf, and a fettuchini alfredo. Everything was superb: fresh and delicious! We tried each others' dishes and could not decide what was best - they all were fantastic! We also had a sorbet, a tiramisu, a cannoli and cappuccino for desert. In the end we were absolutely happy that we chose to visit Pasqualone's. We'll definitely come back soon!

Called on a whim on a Friday night hoping to get reservations and the gentleman on the phone was kind enough to take my name incase they had any cancels - lucky enough for us, they did! Our server was excellent. The perfect mix of personable, humorous and professional. Food was even better, fresh and homemade tasting just like we hoped for. I can’t recommend this place enough! Can’t wait to come back and explore the rest of the menu!

We were greeted very nicely by owner. The food was good but I feel completely overpriced. Ordered chicken parmesan...thirty dollars.... and not even a side of pasta came with it. There was only one type of salad dressing and everything was ala cart. Was told by waiter they "dont make a big deal about salad and sides". What?!!

Honestly 0 stars. Don’t believe all these good reviews!! Olive garden is better quality. Got food to go for my brother in law’s birthday and it was horrible. Paid $18 for him to get spaghetti (and another $18 for me and my fiance to share some), and was extremely disappointed. Pasta was mushy, sauce was very sweet with almost no other flavor, salad was pathetic, and bread was very clearly frozen dinner rolls. The spaghetti tasted almost exactly like spaghetti-O’s. The restaurant made ordering food to go very difficult even though they advertise that they can do it. Brother in law was a good sport, but it was a waste of money and a very disappointing birthday meal.

Went with son, brother in town for THE OSU game vs ND, and his friend. Had 4 appetizers: Burrata, Escargot, veal meatball, and Antipasti. Everything was excellent. Entree: Veal chop, Veal Parmigiano, Veal Braciola, and homemade Wedding soup. Fantastic! Excellent service by 3 wait staff, Matthew primarily, and always great to see Chef Dave again...our fellow Abruzzese Paisan!! Bon appetito!!

Best restaurant I've ever been to. You can't go wrong with Chef David's cooking, and he's always got specials to keep the menu exciting. The wait staff are phenomenal as well. Matt will make you an excellent custom cocktail if you tell him what flavors you like.

So I visited this place for the first time moments ago and spent a total of about 15 seconds before leaving. The moment I walked in i was greeted with odd stares and looks of bewilderment. And then subsequently told IMMEDIATELY, AT THE DOOR, that "we only have 10 tables and you have to make a reservation". Nevermind the fact that I was looking to order takeout. Nevermind the fact that I hadn't even inquired about seating or dining in. It literally was like I was not welcomed. Sorry but that place reeks of racism. And to think I literally drove like 15 mins just to get some pasta. Ive never written negative review of anywhere in my life before this. Definitely will never visit here again. Ever.

The ABSOLUTE BEST ITALIAN I HAVE EVER TASTED. Better than anything I even had while visiting Rome, Italy. The chef, Mr.P is super nice and welcoming. The service was EXCELLENT EXCELLENT EXCELLENT; he described the specials, appetizers and desserts in a very knowledgeable manner. The Veal Loaf with marsala sauce and the lasagna was delicious with every bite. It's a small intimate setting therefore I strongly recommend making reservations. This is definitely my new FAVORITE Italian spot in Columbus. GRAZIE 😘

This is the place we go for any special occasion. You're treated like family here. David & Lori are wonderful people, the staff is excellent and the food is incredible. If you're looking for real Italian food look no further. I try to send as many people here as I can because there is no other Italian in the state that comes close.

Saturday night I went here with friends to celebrate a friend's birthday. We were treated very well...never felt rushed and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. I had Veal Marsala plus Spaghetti and Meatballs...both were delicious. We also chose wine from an impressive wine menu. Check it out!

Wow! What a wonderful evening of food. Everything is so thoughtfully considered. We started with the burrata appetizer followed by the house salad. The salad was simple, the dressing really letting the greens shine. Then onto the specials, lobster ravioli and gorgonzola chicken. Out of this world! The flavors were all deep and complex but never let you forget the star of each dish. Well done! I can't recommend this place highly enough.

Sadly, one of the worst meals ever. The bread was tough, the salad salty, a d the red sauce watery. Over rated and way too expensive. Wait staff was helpful a d cordial but didn't make up for the meal.

A little gem tucked away where you wouldn't expect it. Dining here reminds you that food can be an art, and when practiced with expertise it can be something great. Both the kitchen and front room staff excel at what they do. At a lot of expensive restaurants, I feel like I could recreate the meal if I took the time to shop for all the ingredients, prep it all and cook it right--you're just paying for the convenience. At Pasqualone's, the food is something more than just the sum of its parts. I don't think I could make these dishes without years of experience in a kitchen, so I'm just happy I got to enjoy them.

Some of the best Italian in town. You won’t feel rushed, you’ll eat a meal you feel your Italian grandma made you in her kitchen. Great service.

First time here. The love made in this food is unmatched and the intimacy of the restaurant made my birthday celebration that much better. The veal was unbelievable, will definitely be back!

This is true diamond in the rough restaurant. I've lived within 5 miles of this place my entire life and never knew it existed until a few years ago. The food is the best Italian I've ever had, the fresh homemade mozzarella is to die for. The owners and chef meet you at the door, the service is phenomenal. The dining room is small and cozy, you will not regret giving this place a try. I can't wait to take my best friend here for her birthday next weekend!! Don't let the surrounding area prevent you from going here, you'll be missing out BIGTIME!!!

Columbus, this is Italian. Atmosphere is authentic… the music, liquor sitting out, decor, wine, etc. Food was excellent. The owner is genuine and service was great. We put our fate in Chris’s hands and he selected our entire meal from wine to dessert. Did not disappoint.

Easily the best italian restaurant in the city. As soon as you step in you feel like you are walking into your italian family's house for a home cooked meal. Everything on the menu is phenomenal, the prices are not too expensive, and the service makes you feel like family. Cant wait to go back

Wow! Thank you David and team! What an amazing dinner we had here last night. We were treated so well by our waiters and the food was amazing! Special that night was burrata and it didn't disappoint. We will be back!

If this isn’t the best restaurant, not Italian, best restaurant in Columbus, not sure what is. The whole scene, small, quaint, relaxed, amazing from scratch food. Like at an Italian home in Sicily. The best. David is the best, and Chris M on the weekends serving, just makes it that much better. My favorite.

Dined with our family for a 20th anniversary celebration and had the best Italian meal since arriving in Ohio 5 years ago. The food is incredible, as good as momma used to make. Cocktails and desserts were an added bonus. Can’t say enough about how enjoyable our dining experience was. Chris our waiter and martini crafter was the best. If you are looking for excellent authentic Italian meals in Columbus, you cannot do any better than Pasqualones.

Can’t believe I have lived in Columbus for so long and have never visited this gem of a place. Intimate setting, amazing, authentic food and top-notch service. Our server Chris was outstanding. This was probably the best restaurant experience I have ever had. The chef even came out to visit our table. Do yourself a favor and head to Pasqualones.

This is a must for anyone who likes old school Italian dining. If you haven't tried it, see how they did things in the old days with small personable dining. The owner and chef meet you at the door, and everything is made to order. Food was great, make sure to make reservations as seating is limited.

Outstanding authentic food and outstanding service. Greeted warmly upon arrival our table ready and not rushed one bit the entire night. Truly delicious food, small, intimate atmosphere, and a meal experience to remember.

The best Italian in Columbus. Not even close. They can compete with some of Italy’s best and I know this from my travels. Chicken Marsala and Veal Loaf are out of this world. Their red sauce also makes everything a difficult decision. David is a master who frets over the finest details. Get a reservation today for an authentic experience you can’t find very often in the states.

The most intimate dining experience I've had in Columbus. Every single dish was incredible down to the very simple pre dinner salad. The menu includes much more than what is listed on the website. Reservation only is for a reason. We were greeted by the head chef when we walked in and the service was outstanding. There are about 10 tables in the dining room and we honestly forgot where we were for 2 hours. There is no Italian food quite like this in Columbus.
