Hidden gem if you are into curries and flavors. We had our dinner and it was amazing. The place was clean, the food was cheap and the portion size was humongous, and the taste was excellent. What else can you ask for? Go, check them out, and thank me later.

I wrote a review about Ena’s Kitchen but…here’s an update. My Dad and I love Ena’s food so much…we both agreed that if we had a last meal request…Only Ena’s would do. Look how happy my Dad is in hospice care. If you don’t believe love and good food have healing powers…you are missing out! Thank you so much Ena’s Kitchen…aka home

Easily one of the best hidden gems of Columbus! Will you wait at least 20 minutes? Yes. Will you be confused by parking arrangements? Absolutely. Will you wonder if you should just eat somewhere else? Without question. But you should ignore ALL of those inclinations and be patient because amazing Jamaican food comes to those who wait. We’ve been coming here for years and the food is ALWAYS fresh, ALWAYS delicious, and ALWAYS worth whatever wait there might be. Clear 30-45 minutes of your day and get ready for some incredible eats!

When I tell you them oxtail and curry goat was sssssooooooooo delicious, ooowwweeee!!! 😋😋😋🥰🥰🥰 The staff was cool, the restaurant was clean, as soon as you walk in you smell all the flavors of Caribbean. 🤤🤤 I had collard greens and homemade macaroni and cheese (yes, homemade) as my sides, so scrumptious. I will be back again.

My coworker suggested Ena's for me to try while on vacation. Omg this food is so good. I got the BBQ jerk chicken, mac and cheese, and fried plantains (that was my first time trying ever). Definitely would recommend. I can't wait to go back again and try something else on the menu.

Nothing but slop. The macaroni tastes like water (not baked at all with non al dente noodles), the coco bread looks like pressed hamburger buns, the cabbage was okay but overall I wouldn’t serve this food to anyone. To top it all off Ms. Ena was RUDE!

Food is great, service fast. I ordered jerk chicken, corn bread, and a patty. I ate the patty while i was driving... yea they are pretty good. The chicken was tender, moist, and tasted really good.

First time experience with Caribbean food. My boyfriend suggested we go and grab some lunch. We had the BBQ jerk chicken plate with beans and rice and cabbage. It was a nice portion and satisfying. Would definitely go again.

Absolutely the best food I've had in a while! The chicken was so flavorful and slid right off the bone!! They have a relatively simple menu but each item i got was absolutely amazing. Service was great as well :) They also have a parking lot for customers with the only downside it being tucked away near construction.

I was told this place was popular. First time here and it was definitely packed. I ordered oxtails and cabbage. My family ordered beef tips and collard greens. I even got some coco bread. The oxtails and cabbage were not up to par. They were bland. Collard greens were good. Beef tips were tasty but very fatty. I did like that Ms. Ena's grandson was the cashier. He looked about 7. Very nice and professional young man. Great to see youth helping out!

We've always loved Ena's so I knew they were a perfect option to cater my husband's surprise 40th party. Marlon was wonderful to work with. His communication was timely, he was patient with explaining their catering options and helped make great recommendations for what I wanted. My order was for 50 people and the food was ready for pick up at the the time I requested (delivery was available). The food was excellent!!! We had Jerk chicken with rice and peas and plantains. Everyone knew it was Ena's and was geeked about it. Thank you for helping make my husband's 40th, and I quote, "One of the best days of his life"

I'm originally from Columbus but live in Texas now. Came back to visit and wanted some oxtails. I went here based on the reviews online. In my opinion, the oxtails were not what I'm use to. Normally, the oxtails I've had were in a dark brown gravy. They also have butter beans with the peppers and onions cooked down. These oxtails reminded me of a piece of beef that was pretty tender.

Akeelah is so sweet and the meals are delicious as well as affordable with generous portions. I excitedly discovered there's no pork in the greens only beef. Meal pictured is Jerk chicken, rice& beans, greens plus Mac&cheese. 😋

Every Saturday is a MUST for me to visit this establishment. The red pea soup which is available only on Saturday is absolutely delicious. This soup is so good, that on Saturday's Ena's open at 12:00p.m. by 12:30p.m. the red pea soup is completely sold out...that says alot. I most definitely recommend this soup, but you have to order before 12:30p.m. or you will miss out.

The food here is amazing! I have never in my life had Ox tail! It was delicious. Also, best spicy bbq sauce I have ever had. Chicken🔥🔥 Beans and rice🔥🔥. I cannot say enough about this food and the service! Hands down the best! Me, my mom, and my daughter stood at the counter with forks in hand and just bashed until there was nothing left! Soooooooo freaking good!

This is a pretty decent/popular spot with authentic flavors and dishes; there's definitely a Jamaican chef or two in that kitchen. I went on a Sunday, early afternoon -- service was pretty slow and they ran out of several menu items. They did have some really interesting sounding daily specials. The curry goat I landed on had a good portion. I thought it relied too heavily on salt and that masked/overpowered some of the other good flavors.  I've meant to give Ena's a second try for quite a while now, but don't spend much time in that area. Nonetheless, they're probably worthy of it.

Ehh, not as good as they used to be a few years ago. I moved out of town and visited 7/8/22. It was good seeing some of the same faces, and the prices were still reasonable. But the quality isn’t the same. Burnt mac, nothing but stems in my greens, the cornbread was hard as a rock, and the curry chicken had no flavor!

Food is reasonably priced and delicious! This was our first time - bbq jerk chicken, curry shrimp, greens, cornbread - everything was really good. We will be back!

This has become one of my favorite spots to grab a good meal to go. I get the jerk chicken, rice and beans and Mac and cheese every time so I can only speak to that. It is absolutely fantastic! Chicken is very tender and seasoned perfectly!

Jerk chicken and rice was amazing. Best I've had outside of Jamaica. Staff was very friendly.

Wow, this is a hidden gem. Located on Cleveland avenue where there is some street construction, it is a high traffic area. Blink and you will miss it. When we arrived, there were a few people outside waiting for their order, but only one customer in the building. Within a few minutes, there were several people ready to give their orders. It takes about 15 minutes for the order to be prepared. I had a whiting sandwich and the macaroni and cheese. My wife had the barbecued chicken, rice & beans, and cabbage. We will go again when we have the chance, and I cannot wait.

We had the jerk chicken. It comes with beans and rice, plus one side. We ended up getting Mac and cheese and cabbage. Both were excellent. Jerk chicken was spicy and had great flavor. Also know there are some little bones in the chicken as it falls apart easily and it can be difficult to get them all. Just a heads up. I would recommend ordering ahead to save time since parking can be a challenge. There is a lot across from the restaurant that is used for parking. If you order when you get there expect to wait 15-20 minutes. Jerk chicken, beans and rice and one other side is $10.95. I weighed my take out order and the meal weighed 2 lbs 9 oz!

I wish I could have given 0 stars. Was visiting from New York and decided I wanted some Caribbean food. Ended up at this place and ordered jerk chicken in addition to rice and pease with peppered steak. To say I was angry when I got the food is an understatement! These people do not know how to cook! The "jerk chicken" was covered in jerk chicken water. I think what they did was slap the jerk sauce with a little salt on the chicken and cooked it in water instead of on a grill. The so-called pepper steak added to my depression because I was hoping I would luck out with at least 1 of the 2 meals. The meat was overcooked then they threw a few slices of raw pepper over the food. That, people, was their version of peppered steak. Added to this the girl at the counter was just surly. This is my first and last time I'm this place.

Food was fine. A little dry. Requested more gravy and was told she would have to see. Owner isn't very friendly. She was pretty sharp and to the point. Portions have decreased since my last visit. No updates to location in years.

This is absolutely devastating that I have to write such a poor review on a place that has such great food! But… seeing as how the owner treated me today it’s definitely in order. I placed an order for an xtra spicy grilled lamb with rice, beans, and potato salad. Normally they show your food before leaving, but this particular time that wasn’t done due to the fact of the store being busy and it being rush-hour. So I’m on the highway and decided to look at my food, and I immediately noticed that the potato salad is missing. So I did what any paying customer would do with a complaint. I called the establishment to inform them of the mishap to no avail there was no answer after I attempted five times or so. After discovering the potato salad was not included in the meal I began to try and eat the food in utter disappointment because I didn’t have my potato salad and with the food being extra spicy without having the potato salad to balance out the spices, it made it extremely difficult to eat, so I was unable to finish meal. On the following day, I return to the stores location to inform them of the mistake and with the remainder of the food in hopes of them rectifying the situation. But instead, the owner opens up the container and starts to complain that I’ve eaten some of the food. after making me feel as though I were a charity case, I offered to pay, because I’m not going to go back and forth over a $18.00 meal. But instead she opted to provide me with an order of oxtails. I informed her that I did not want that. I wanted what I paid for and if she didn’t want to compensate me for that. Again, I was more than willing to pay for it. but, she told me that she “didn’t want my money.” so I’m sitting there under the impression that she’s going to give me what I paid for but instead I left with an order of oxtails and potato salad. And in no way am I trying to bash this restaurant, but as a black business that is thriving in the community. I would appreciate if proper customer service orientation was presented at that moment. It’s really sad because before going in there I kind of figured that there would be an issue with me complaining about the food that I purchased. And you should never feel that way about a place that you have been a customer of for years!! But in order to do better we must learn better. Thanks,

Recommended by a family member and they did not disappoint. I ordered the jerk chicken dinner w/ mac n cheese, cabbage, and rice and beans. Food was delicious, portions were great, and friendly service. I'll definitely be back to try the oxtails!!!!

The food was really delicious 🤤. I got the curry chicken. It was great not to much or to little season. The chicken was sooooo tender. My husband got the curry goat and it was equally delicious. My friend got the beef ribs and he said how tender they were. You also get plenty of food. The cabbage, greens and rice and peas were amazing. Small place, great food!!!!!!!!! I will visit again.

I was in my motel in Dayton watching Guy Fieri and Ena's was featured, so I drove to Columbus the following morning to dine here and it did not disappoint. I went there twice. The food was excellent, visually well-prepared with generous serving, and the staff were very friendly. I will definitely return here (from the greater Chicago) to have everything on its menu. I highly recommend everyone who visits Columbus to stop by Ena's.

This place never fails to disappoint. The only thing that is good about this place is the customer service. I want to know who is writing these reviews?? This is the worse Jamaican food in Columbus and I will not be back!!! Every time I come to this place something is always wrong with the food I tried to give them a chance by coming here 3 different times trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, but the food is just nasty. I mean why can't they just get it right??? These people can't be real Jamaicans cooking like this.

Food is amazing but the wait time is CRAZY!! Ordered food at 12:00pm and still waiting for food at 1:45pm! They have to figure out a better way to get food to the customers when you they said it will be ready.

The best food in Columbus in my opinion. I have ordered their food about 5 times now, and I love it, my family loves it, reminds us of the food we would get in Brooklyn, NY! No complaints about the food, everything always taste fresh, cooked and seasoned perfectly!

After trying to place a large order with another restaurant and receiving awful customer service, I did some research and found Miss Enas…… we live about an hour away, but I wanted to surprise my husband for his birthday with a Jamaican Feast! I called and told her all I was looking for and she was able to Accommodate all of it and more!!!! It was amazing and I will drive an hour anyday again for her!!! We had servings of oxtail, jerk chicken, jerk shrimp, rice and beans, cabbage, collards, plantains, corn bread, patties, Mac n cheese and I wish I had chosen even more items!!!! I cannot wait To return and try all the items on her menu because if what we already tasted was that amazing, I can only imagine that it is all that good! Thank you Miss Ena!!!!!
