Carfagna's new location is absolutely amazing. They have brought together in one location their amazing Italian market, one of the best butcher shops in Columbus, an excellent wine shop and wine bar, one of the best liquor selections in Ohio and an excellent Italian restaurant. And they have connected it all together with a very cool bar area that feels like you are on an Italian town square.

They will automatically charge you 3% if you use any plastic to pay. I have been going here since before they moved. The meat and chicken wings deals are great. The red sauce they make is special. Fresh pasta pizza dough and more. Try the free samples also. The restaurant is very good also. They have wine bottle specials with dinners at times. Moreover you can get your wine and spirits right there also. It's like a food mall. One stop and grab them go home. Very nice.

Our server was super friendly, fast and kind. The atmosphere was nice. Comfortable seating and nice mello music. I hate giving bad reviews but honestly, The food was sub par. The vodka sauce and carbonara both tasted ... I'm not sure exactly .... Packaged? Canned? Flavorless? Pasta was overcooked and mushy. Butter was not real butter. All in all ... Just would not recommend.

Look, I've been a big fan of Carfagna's market for years. I've gone to their old market location more times than I can count but I've never dined in with them before, even at their old location. With the insanely high amount of reviews and a high rating at their new location, I was not prepared to be this disappointed by their food at all. To make things worse, I was entertaining some customers & guests who wanted to dine in the Polaris area, and thought this was a safe bet. So, I was no doubt embarrassed for selecting this spot. Four of us had each ordered our individual pastas, and they were straight up bad. My gnocchi in pesto was bland and gnocchi pieces were tough. I couldn't justify the prices they were charging for a plate of pasta either. I thought maybe it was probably my dish that didn't come out impressive but found out later that my guests too, were not impressed with their pasta dishes at all. One of them was the pasta in vodka sauce. My guest describe it as being so bland and diluted they could probably cook a jar of store-bought vodka sauce and it would have been much more satisfying. Service was subpar - they also messed up my order and completely forgot to include the chicken that I ordered until I asked about it. Their only saving grace was the decor & ambiance. There's a nice large bar, separated, and the restaurant being connected to their grocery store is a great idea to attract diners to check out their store offerings as a post or pre-meal activity. Unfortunately, very disappointed with my experience here and also very confused with the ratings and reviews on this location. For those who rely on reviews & ratings, hear me out: I noticed that reviews on this listing also has Raising Cane's reviews mixed in. From my search online, a Columbus Dispatch article seems to put the opening of this place to be around Sept/Oct 2021. My dinner visit (late May 2023) is more than 1.5 years since they opened, yet Cane's is still the highest-mentioned keyword reviews for this location. So I'm guessing it was probably an old Google Maps listing for Cane's that got taken over by Carfagna's, which might explain why the reviews are numerous and that the ratings could be misleading and imho, ought to be taken with a grain of salt. Just genuinely curious here as to why my experience didn't live up to the reviews—happy to be proven wrong. All in all, not entirely sure what's going on but with the mismatch of experience vs reviews, but solely on my dining experience there, I unfortunately, cannot recommend this place at all and I'm very hesitant to return. Their adjacent grocery store, however, is still top notch in my eyes—THAT I'll be returning for and can no doubt recommend!

As a patron of the original Carfagna's Italian Market off Dublin-Granville Road, the new Polaris establishment illuminates what the owner's must have always had in mind but have been unable to bring to fruition given the original stores limited footprint. Even though the original store is smaller, with tight aisles packed with loads of signature and unique goods - the stores close quarters lends to a special experience where you may be tenth in line, elbow to elbow with other Carfagna's patrons, but the employees behind the counter make quick work and are super friendly and engaging at every step of the way. The new location gives you much, much more space whilst grocery shopping for those signature and unique items, providing you more than just elbow room. The Polaris location also offers a very large liquor store with a plethora of spirits and wines. Lastly, the new restaurant takes up a substantial portion of the facility, with an incredible bar area and plenty of tables to handle any rush Polaris can throw at it. The menu contains pretty much every Italian dish you would expect, including some nice lunch mix/match combos (like salad or soup and half a sandwich). The prices are absolutely reasonable and in line with the quality and portions - my only qualm was the wait time while dining. The staff was very attentive; however, they were short staffed in the front and it took some time getting my order in and check received/cashed. I am still giving 5 stars as this is the first week opening and they are probably tightening these processes up - I will be back and will update accordingly!

Carfagna's had the best Italian food in Columbus! I love all of their pastas, and they also have very good appetizers. The atmosphere is great, the staff are all nice, and the portion size is hearty. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for tasty authentic Italian food without the outrageous prices.

We go several times a month for the meat and wine tastings. Always top notch quality and experiences! The restaurant is so lively and friendly staff. There was a live musician singing and he was very enjoyable! We had martinis, gnocchi with creamy pomodoro sauce, and hot tea. It all satisfied the taste buds and was a great experience.

Beautiful store and restaurant! The bar area is huge yet comfortable, staff are very kind and courteous. Options to sit on outdoor patio, indoor "patio", and restaurant as well. The bartender was very helpful with selecting wine and the pizza was delicious!

Really cool location! We stopped there on a slow Saturday afternoon. While the waitress was very nice, she barely stopped by our table. She never brought us bread or refills. Luckily, we tracked down another associated to get us some bread and garlic butter- it was very good! I got chicken parmigiana & a side salad with the house dressing- it was okay but didn’t finish it. While it was an okay experience, we probably won’t stop back, but a really cool place. I will say, we sampled their pizza and it was delicious! Overall, good, not amazing.

This restaurant shares the building with with it's Italian deli supermarket Which is very cool. The food was excellent, And the atmosphere is great. It was very busy the night we were there but they had multiple people waiting on us So service was very good. Highly recommend this Italian restaurant!

This is a full-service establishment. It has everything: restaurant, deli, bakery, hot food bar, coffee bar and wine shop. The food is delicious! The service is outstanding and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Bring your 'mad money' and get some pistachio biscotti or mezzaluna ravioli for the freezer and don't forget the homemade sauce! It's a taste of home.

Not a fan. Service was terrible. Especially the front counter folks They were seating people out of order and not first come first serve. Once I was seated, the host was much better. Checked on me frequently and asked how the food was. The arancini was good but not much flavor to it. I tried it without the sauce and was mad about it. The pizza was decent but again, very bland. Just no taste to it. Plenty of toppings. Pepperoni was okay. If the sauce had any taste this might be a good place for a slice. Overall just wasn't impressed with anything. The market was so crowded it was hard to browse. But I learned a lot of what they sell if just bulk items repackaged. Little of it is local or anything and it can be pretty pricey. They do sell Angie's Rainbow cookies, but honestly just order from her site. Also there's a 3% credit card fee. So take cash! I don't see myself going back here but glad I got it out of my system.

I have no idea why it has taken us so long to come here! The inside was so nice and love the beautiful Italian decor! The staff was very nice, polite, patient ,and very helpful! Our Server so nice too. I feel bad that I forgot his! He's a ginger like my son though! The pizzas were very good ( next time, I will be getting pizza). But, my guys got pizzas and I got the chicken piccata and cheese tortellini. So very good! Although, I wish I had gotten Light sauce and the parm on top when they asked. I couldn't eat all of mine but, that's okay, it made a nice light lunch! And of course we couldn't leave ordering dessert to go. We got the last slice of the Limoncello Mascarpone Cake and the Tiramisu. Haha.. the Limoncello didn't stand a chance! OMG..SO GOOD!!!! This you gotta try!!!! I really enjoyed the tiramusu too but the Limoncello was amazing!!! Go here while you can because they're moving over to Gemini later on this year. That location will have so much for you to enjoy!!!

Loved it! We came here after a golf lesson and had a great time. The food was awesome and the service was so fast. And the wine selection was amazing. After lunch we did a wine tasting and met new friends. We will definitely be back! I had the grouper- it was delicious.

My wife and I ate a late lunch here on Black Friday, 2023, around 135pm. Service: The hostess wasn't really friendly. No smile and didn't greet us. She took us to a table and walked off. I'm assuming she didn't want to be there on the day after Thanksgiving, maybe. The waitress was a little better. She was polite and friendly enough. Food: Free bread and garlic butter were very good. My wife ordered gnocchi with pomodora sauce, and it was delicious. I asked for Chicken Parmigiano with spaghetti. The noodles texture was as if they were sitting on a pot all day. Not al dente. The chicken was excellent; crispy on the outside breading and juicy inside. Sauce wasn't anything special. We also each ordered the Italian wedding soup. The gentleman who brought them out spilled mine a little, and he didn't acknowledge nor apologize. It was flavorful. Atmosphere: the seats were dirty and had straw wrapper pieces and I thought perhaps it was an oversight from the busboy cleaning the tables but as I watched him clear the other tables, I noticed he only wiped off the tables and not the seats. The music and ambiance were fine. Overall, i liked the place. I'd come back for the food, but the hostess and cleanliness could be better.

Years ago when I lived in Columbus Carfagna's was an excellent Italian deli/meat market, but I moved away before it transformed into the food emporium it became. This was my first time at the restaurant. I went with extended family for my aunt's birthday and really liked it. Food was solidly good Italian standards and service was excellent. Everyone was happy. Now that I have moved back to Worthington, I expect to come here regularly as my wife is highly pasta dependent. I also want to explore the new deli and the wine shop.

Love this place! The food was delicious from the appetizers to the main course and the dessert. Had a great bottle of wine too. Our server was friendly and fun. Love how spacious this place is. Didn’t get to shop in the market but looking forward to going back.

Our server was fantastic however we were very disappointed in the food. Even after desert, we could not get all the garlic taste out of our mouth. The appetizer and pasta dishes were full of garlic. Typically I love garlic, but this was overload.

Absolutely fabulous! We've been to the old location a number of times, and address very impressed with the stepped up game of the new location. The food was awesome, prices were decent, and service was quite good.

Mixed feelings on this. I buy their sauce in the store all the time. Our waiter was superb. Food was okay. Ordered the eggplant parmesan and just seemed it was missing something. It was decent though. Good portions and bigger selection of sauces that you can purchase there as well. I do plan to go back for different dish. Oh, cheesecake good and generous slice!

Good experience. The provolone wedges were good. The pizza was different but quite good. The sauce at Carfagna's never disappoints. Service was very nice. The 'house' red wine was nice and inexpensive.

Stopped in here on a whim. This restaurant put a lot of thought into the atmosphere. We bought some wine from the shop but the market was closed. We had great food and excellent service. It was a nice evening. I got the manicotti which I normally don't do at restaurants because my dad made it growing up and his is always better, but it's been a while so I rolled the dice. We also got the bruschetta and my husband ordered the sausage and pepper pasta. All was delicious. Can't wait to go back!

We had our monthly eat out that consist of a group of 10. We started out with drinks (Liquor) and was shut off within 15min for the whole party. Mind you personally I had one beer and a double. My wife whom was the driver only had one drink. I appreciate them thinking safety. However at 310 pounds it would take a keg or two to put me down. This place has a full bar and a wine cellar. And they want to micro manage peoples intake without knowing protocols have been set in place to avoid unsafe behaviors, safety and securities. I felt our party was profiled but never the less we patronized them in over $700 dollars in food and gratuity. Maybe the menu should state a drink limitation. This was the first and last visit to this establishment. We are a group of adults mostly over 50yrs old and well positioned.

We went for a late birthday lunch and it was very good service. They do have gluten free pasta (penne) and gluten free pizza. Both are great but I loved the pizza. I also got a limoncello that was excellent.

Great food then I picked up all the things for lasagna and some frozen ravioli in the marketplace. Heirloom tomatoes, candy onions, all the good things. I adore this place and a great regret is that I didn't frequent it more often before they moved here.

Very disappointing. Walked in and ordered a build your own Stromboli on a Tuesday evening. Was told it would take 25-30 minutes. Did some shopping at the store, then came back to the lobby. After 35 min I checked on my order and it was not ready. I checked in again and they sent someone to ask about it. It took 57 minutes to prepare one Stromboli. After all that waiting, it was so undercooked that the dough was still raw and inedible.

Carfagna's has some of the best Italian food I have tried around Columbus to date. Our waiter, Jeffro, was an absolute delight and I am thankful that he made our first visit to this restaurant so memorable. Service was quick. The food was incredible — I am eager to visit again and try a new menu item!

Outstanding service, ambience and meal! Maggie was full of helpful information and interesting history about Carfagna's! What a beautiful legacy three generations handing down their gifts and talents to the next. 💜While glancing over the menu I could not believe my eyes.... my favorite dish "Veal Marsala " I was in heaven. Now I ask for garlic over my pasta. Perfection 💋 If you are looking for a memorable experience you must make plans NOW! Any holiday, event or occasion will be a success at Carfagna's! Before you leave do a little shopping. Have a wonderful time. Enjoy smile 😊

Staff was friendly and attentive. Food was so-so. My chicken marsala was over-breaded and overcooked; it was tough. My wife's veal parmesan was also very overcooked and tough. The highlight 9f.dinner, though, was the plate my entree was served on. It rocked and turned on it's own. I had to try to hold it to keep it from spinning while sawing my chicken. Every bite to ked the plate. Unacceptable. Do better.

Dined on a Saturday mid-afternoon and chose open seating at the bar top. Ordered a glass of Cabernet and chose the pick 2 with half of an Italian sub and the gnocchi with vodka sauce. Sandwich was delicious and the vodka sauce was alright - had a bitter aftertaste.

Really good food, kitchen was a little slow. Server was great but seemed to be stretched thin so visits were few. Very basic decor, lots of hard surfaces made the room noisy.

Best local place to become a “regular!” Delicious food, amazing cocktails, and awesome team! Amanda, Sam, Lizzie and crew run the bar seamlessly and provide great, high- touch service. Best old-fashioned in Columbus, hands-down. Brooklyn is an absolutely fabulous server; always ready with great recommendations on how to enjoy every dish!
