The food was not Indian at all. I tried their buffet, and the food was very bland. It doesn't taste close to Indian food. The chicken drumsticks were super dry. All the chicken, paneer, and veg gravy were bland and sweet. Indian food should have spice flavors. The fish pakoras were the worst; they were smelly. You better go to some Indian restaurant that serves some authentic Indian flavor. I would not recommend you this place if you really want to try some good Indian food.

I'm a huge lover of Indian food, but it's hard to find the really good place that hasn't been Americanized. I had the good luck to stumble across this place while passing through Dublin Columbus Ohio and will definitely be back. The restaurant is comfortable, quiet enough to allow conversation and very affordable. The staff is always very friendly and the Buffet here is awesome and try worthy Buffet usually has a few curry-style dishes, chiken tikka masala, chiken with veggies, saag paneer, chole aloo, rice, naan, a fried bread, bhaji at least a veg dish or two, salad, and gulab jamun. Upon entering we were impressed with the nice atmosphere-dimmed lights and music playing. Our server was fantastic, very helpful with suggestions and pleasant all around-he seemed to genuinely care about the experience of everyone

Columbus, OH region has so many vibrant Indian restaurants- this one is consistently doing good. It’s a North Indian/ Punjabi style place. We stopped by for weekend brunch. It was a buffet and the place was fully packed. Majority of the customers were Americans. The food was pretty good, although the spice level is little on the lower side, but it’s definitely not bland. The buffet didn’t have lot of dishes, unlike other buffet. They had minimal dishes - but all of them were good. The potato tikki, eggplant fries, chicken tandoori, saag chicken all were flavorful, and spicy. The salad was fresh and juicy. The home made veg pickle was excellent. The gulab jamun was also great. Overall, the food was quite tasty. We ordered a mango lassi, and that was above average with right amount of sweetness and optimum dense. We ate sitting in the bar area, and their napkins, silverware everything was clean and good.

Not Indian food! None of the food item tasted Indian, sweet Chilli chicken, flavorless dry tandoor,. I would not recommend this place if you are looking for Indian food. Was decently priced and had limited parking available. Have outdoor seating available. My table was treated differently from others around. Not sure if was because we were the only Indians there. Service was very bad. Limited edible options on buffet. Inside tables, restrooms etc were clean, but a lot of fruit flies disturbed my plates. I would never consider visiting here again.

This was my first experience and definitely not my last. The food was delicious, warm, hearty, and flavorful. Loved that they easily cater to vegan! I can't tell you all of what I ordered, I had my lovely waiter bring me two entrees of his recommendation, garlic and onion naan, and Samoas.

My wife and I checked this place out for the first time last night. We were very pleased with the whole experience. The bar had a good cocktail selection and the drinks we ordered were excellent. The menu had a good variety as well. All the food we ordered was delicious.

This restaurant has set the bar pretty high for me as far as Indian cuisine goes. It was hands down one of the best restaurant experiences I have had in a long long time. From the greeting forward to an friendly and knowledgeable server (Tom) to excellent food and outdoor dining. 👌wow, just 👏 wow. I will be a fan of Aab India and spread the word of what they are creating on Grandville Ave. Can't wait to come back and explore the rest of the menu. Thank you

Definitely one of the best Indian food spots in the area. I am always very picky when it comes down to Indian food and this spot did not disappoint. Everything was perfect and the food came out at a decent time. The service was pretty good. Only thing I hated was getting stared at every other minute.

Delicious Indian cuisine. Enjoyable meal and atmosphere, great and attentive service. Few of us came in for the buffet and for what it offered, was totally worth it. Didn't have enough room for dessert. It's all the traditional dishes along with few extra from the menu. Will definitely return!

Came here to celebrate a birthday the atmosphere is comfortable and the service is always excellent. The rice here is probably the best I e ever eaten. Seriously I’d come here and just eat the white rice and be so happy. It’s perfectly cooked and seasoned. Tonight we also got a variety of curries all excellent, mango lassi and some appetizers half off because of the happy hour special. Everything was prepared well and we were super happy with our experience.

Very busy place and so seating is mixed up as chairs are pulled from tables to set other tables. Our server was amazing and helped us sample the rose and mango lassi, from which we ordered the smooth mango lassi. I had the Lamb Biryani, spice level 3 which was delicious. The Butter Chicken as well was so yummy. We also tried the potato aloo nan, tho I think next time we will stick with a garlic or onion nan. Our server also told us about the lunch buffet which sounds like a great deal if you’re able to go in when it’s served!

Went here on a Sunday. Was packed!! But we were given a table in under 2 mins. Food was delicious. Had good variety. Not very heavy. Lamb curry and Fried Fish were my favorite's for the day!! And the Naan was soft as a pillow!!

My previous experience with Indian cuisine did not go well, the appetizers, entrees, garlic nan, and cocktails at Aab completely changed my opinion. I enjoyed the experience and food so much, I can’t recall the last time I had a meal out where I enjoyed every bite/sip this much and smiled when I looked at the bill. I immediately saved Aab in my top places to eat in Columbus and we will be back next week.

I love this place. I come get away and treat myself to delicious Taandori chicken and other buffet items for on 14 bucks for lunch. The staff is SO nice. Please come support this lovely business. I paid $16.11 for that meal. Of it was buffet so I was able to get thirds. P.s. try the onion chutney. Yum yum

Rating them solely on their buffet, as that is all I have tried here: for a buffet, the food is fantastic. I suppose the individual dishes wouldn't earn five stars if I'd ordered them a la carte, or paid more for them, but as a buffet, I love the food here and the price is reasonable (but not cheap, at $15). This was my third time here and I will definitely be going back. This time I brought my friend, who didn't think he liked Indian food - he kept saying the food was really great, a pleasant surprise for him in every way, except for one thing: he ate too much 🤣 and felt so full he said he was going to have to skip dinner.

Irate dissed the best restaurant in Columbus. That’s on Grandview Avenue the food as well season not overly spicy but just right. This owner of this restaurant really know what he’s doing is always packed. I’ve been to other restaurants Indian restaurants but so far this is the best I think he should have more than one in Columbus, if you have not been there, you should really go. The food is always fresh. The service is always prompt. The Buffay is always hot and good.

Usually get takeout, but not always. Delicious and plentiful. Lunch buffet is excellent. Nice place for supper, too. Prices moderate. I advise against online ordering; went to pick up carry out at the appointed time, waited a half hour, then found out my order disappeared, then waited another half hour; was very hungry and annoyed by then, but blame it on the online ordering partner, whose identity I forget. I was offered a dessert I didn't want or like as compensation, but whatever; no tip that time.

This is a hidden gem. Always clean and the staff is very friendly. All their selections of authentic Indian cuisine are phenomenal. I really enjoy the food anytime I come here and highly recommend it to anyone around looking for authentic Indian food in Columbus.

No taste at all in any of the curry. 4 small frozen pieces of Paneer. Gravy is all cream. Very thick tandoori bread. Not eatable at all. Service was quick hence deserve 1 star. Don't come if you have high expectations...below par..

Food is great, good price, but unfortunately we didn't get great service. We ordered desserts and even we asked the waitress to take the dinner plates out, they didn't do it. They need better Training

★★★★★ Food quality ★★★★★ Service ★★★★★ Ambiance ★★★★★ Value ★★★★★ Menu selection ★★★★☆ Location/Accessibility ★★★★★ Overall experience Date visited: 11/11/2023 During a weekend excursion to the vibrant city of Columbus, I seized the opportunity to indulge my palate in the diverse and rich flavors of Indian cuisine at Aab India Restaurant. Accompanied by my dining companion, KK, our culinary escapade unfolded with the promise of an extraordinary dining experience. Arriving just before noon, we found the exterior of Aab India unassuming, a subtle facade that betrayed little of the culinary marvels concealed within. The challenge of parking, however, proved a minor detour on our quest for gastronomic bliss. Having secured a spot in the Big Lot parking lot down the street, we waited outside, eagerly anticipating the moment when the doors would swing open to reveal the warmth and aromatic allure that awaited us. As the clock struck 12, the portal to this culinary haven opened, and we eagerly sought refuge from the brisk autumn air. A gracious staff member ushered us to a neatly arranged table, allowing my companion to peruse the menu while I immersed myself in the restaurant's ambiance. The interior unfolded with systematic organization—tables optimized for space, a bar counter adorned with a curated collection hinting at a storied history, and at the far end, a buffet counter laden with an enticing array of Indian culinary treasures. The decor, an elegant fusion of warmth and antiquity, transported diners to a bygone era. With its antique-inspired ceiling, floor, and furnishings, Aab India exuded an authenticity that promised an immersive dining experience. The warm color palette and tantalizing aroma further heightened the anticipation, especially as I imagined the ambiance taking on a magical allure as daylight gave way to night. Choosing the all-you-can-eat buffet, we joined a queue that mirrored our eagerness to explore the Indian culinary landscape. Labels adorned each tray, providing glimpses into the myriad dishes that awaited us. My plate became a canvas for a symphony of flavors—a scoop of herbal basmati rice, curry that was a departure from the familiar Chicken Tikka Masala, naan bread, fresh vegetables, and a dessert whose uniqueness intrigued my senses. Returning to our table, the first bites were revelations. The curry, a choreography of spices, danced on my palate, and the naan bread, while exemplary on its own, ascended to sublime heights when dipped in the curry. KK, fully immersed in the experience, relished basmati rice, Chicken Tikka, and an assortment of vegetables with evident delight. In the midst of our culinary reverie, an attentive waitress graced our table, ensuring our glasses remained filled. A managerial or culinary presence, keen on enhancing our experience, paid a gracious visit, adding a personal touch to our culinary journey. Our senses satiated and the ambiance savored, we lingered a while before bidding adieu to the burgeoning crowd. Overwhelmed by the newfound popularity, we settled the bill, generously tipping for the delightful fare and attentive service—a mere $16 per person, a paltry sum for the culinary symphony we had indulged in. Overall, Aab India Restaurant emerges as an unparalleled gem in the culinary scene of Columbus. A haven for those seeking not just a meal but a gastronomic journey, it stands as a testament to the alluring wonders of Indian cuisine. As I departed, the promise echoed—an assurance that whenever Columbus beckons, Aab India will be my chosen sanctuary for an encore of extraordinary flavors and warm hospitality.

Joey was our server. We have been here many time and have had servers that are not the best in the past. He was the absolute best. Very attentive and very accommodating with every question we had (we asked a lot of food questions). We will definitely request him the next time we are in!

The whole dish was left the way it is no salt no fresh food all dishes were made under 1 gravy. The portion size was also too less as compared to the prices. Though when we ordered a rose lassi and wasn’t good they changed it for us that’s appreciated but rest of the food other than Dal Tadka everything else was ridiculous. We really love to visit Indian restaurants and support Indian entrepreneurs and come up but this things disappoints us.

The food and drinks were delicious, our waiter was excellent and very attentive, and I enjoyed the atmosphere - upscale without being stuffy. Finding vegetarian options was a cakewalk, which is always refreshing. Definitely will be back to try more!

What a fantastic buffet ! We did the lunch hours, on a Sunday - excellent quality of food on the buffet line, in a variety of Indian entrees ranging from mild to super crazy spicy hot. Creamy rice pudding was amazing, even had some strawberries & mango as a fruit choice on the buffet. Didn't like the spices in their particular blend for tea, though. Everything else was on point & absolutely delicious

First time here and will gladly be back soon. Girlfriends first experience with Indian food and we both enjoyed our meals. Portion sizes were above average and the food was very flavorful. Spice levels were very approachable to someone who can and can't handle spice. I had a 5, her a 2 and it was comfortable. If you want to try something new definitely go and enjoy the experience.

Full bar at an Indian restaurant? Never seen that before. The buffet with fresh food and Chicken was perfectly cooked. Just under 14 bucks for the Buffet. Naan was pretty good. 4.6/5

Absolutely the best Indian restaurant in Columbus. Food is very good with incredible flavor. Staff is always really friendly. Love their chicken curry!

Nice atmosphere and food is ok. Tikka masala was more like a korma and the naan were greasy for some reason. Most everything else was ok.

I would say my experience with this restaurant was 3 1/2 out of 5 stars. Me and my husband ordered to go. The food was good but the actual packaging was a bit disappointing. We ordered two different plates and both comes with rice. Both servings of rice was compacted in a small container foam container. It was so compacted that when you open it, it resulted in a complete mess. I would highly suggest them using two instead of trying to fit everything into 1. But overall the food was good but the dish with lamb had very little and was overwhelmed with the spinach and cream sauce. For the level of spicy we did mild (which is a 3). We recommend that if you don't want your food to be spicy at all, definitely go lower than 3.

If you like Indian food, you simply have to try this place! It has been YEARS since I was in an Indian Restaurant and totally had a hard time figuring out the menu. Our waitress was a great help " Translating" the menu as well as recommending a beer to pair with my food. She had that Rare Gift that after she brought us our food, she only visited our table when she noticed we needed our drinks refilled instead of hovering over us and constantly disrupting our conversation. And I Loved that the menu gave a LOT of "Heat" options and I was able to choose a spice level between Mild & Medium! The food arrived quickly and was Absolutely Delicious! And the rice that was served with my meal simply AMAZED me... The Best rice I have ever eaten! The price for lunch was a little steep, $31 including a beer and a nice tip but I am here to tell you that it was Well Worth it! And I am already looking forward to my next Indian FEAST!!!!

I loved this place. Food is great. Clean and excellent service. Flavours on few dishes were not spot on. But looking overall, this place is a Gem for Grandview! Strongly recommend!!
