Went here for the last couple days and had their trifecta each time. Changed meat for potatoes. I love their food, the vibe, the service. Really great. The Belgian waffles are very fluffy, fresh, warm and light. 4 stars because I’m a big fan of potatoes and I felt that each time their seasoned potatoes I ordered were a bit hard. But the flavour/taste was good. Maybe cook/boil/bake them a little bit more? Other than that, everything else was great. Enjoy eating here and will come again for more scrumptious breakfast meals :)

First Watch presents a charming ambiance that sets the perfect tone for a delightful breakfast experience. The limited opening hours until 2pm add an exclusive touch, contributing to its popularity evident in the bustling morning crowd. The perpetual waitlist, though a testament to its popularity, might require early planning. However, the wait is undoubtedly worth it once you savor their impressive breakfast options. The granola banana pancake stands out as a personal favorite, a flavorful delight that adds a unique twist to the breakfast menu. First Watch excels in providing not just a meal but a memorable morning culinary journey.

Pro: I like the menu. I ordered the biscuits and turkey sausage with gravy. I ate it all! But, I added a little more pepper for flavor. Online seat reservations can be made before arrival, too. The server was very busy but good. Con: The check-out process needs to be rethought. The same person checking people in is also multi-tasking as the cashier. When we left to pay, the front area was pretty congested with people waiting to be seated, pick up orders, and check out to pay. Suggestion: Since weekends appear to be so busy, have a kiosk at each table for guests to pay for the meals. Rating:⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2 Based on the food, service, menu, and total experience.

We are first watch regulars every Sunday. We obviously love the food and service. Today I went all unhealthy and got the bananas foster French toast. Like I told my server Emily, it was very good and I’m glad I got it but maybe only one time per year. Their custom juices are very good and that was my healthy part.

The food was AMAZING!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 7 May 2022 (Saturday) Whenever we visit First Watch my go-to meal is Shrimp 🍤 and Grits 😊 this time switched up and added eggs, our waitress Sienna was outstanding friendly, courteous, and overall bubbly personality when placing my order for eggs she asked me how I wanted it cooked. My reply surprise me, she did not disappoint with the selection the eggs were cooked to perfection using a knife and fork to cut into them was so pretty 😁 My Fiancé loves to order French toast🍞 and a side of meat he stated the same on the option surprised me, it was impressive as well with the selection. Compliments to the chefs for cooking such amazing meals. As this was our first time visiting this location definitely will be dining at this location soon.

We visited this first watch on vacation. The server we had was very overwhelmed, so the service wasn't the best, but he did try. What I will say is that the food is always amazing. Biscuits and gravy and million dollar bacon are my favorite as well as the potatoes. Tres leche French toast was great.

Saddest fruit cup ever. 1 piece of melon, 3 blueberries and 6 little grapes. Has definitely gone down hill the last several years. We use to come here weekly, now maybe 1x every 3 months because it's just "eh" now.

Came here for the first time for a Christmas Eve brunch and although it was extremely busy, we put our name on a wait list and only had to wait 2-3 mins upon our arrival until we were seated. The menu is pretty extensive with a little something for everyone. There's no shortage of healthy options and plenty of new and interesting items/ingredients you might not usually see at a breakfast joint (including the early morning cocktails they offer). The food was quite good for the price and warrants a 4/5 stars from me but what brings it up to a 5 star rating was the service. Given how busy they were, our waitress was extremely friendly, took time to banter with us, and constantly kept our drinks filled and stopped by to make sure we were all doing ok.

This is by far, our favorite breakfast place around Columbus. Their potatoes are cooked and seasoned perfectly! The staff is friendly and attentive and the food is phenomenal! They are efficient in almost everything they do. The only bottleneck is at the register when trying to leave. Otherwise: top notch!!!

    - decent variety of choices for even the pickiest eaters. - the potatoes are soft with slightly crispy outer, they aren’t hard fried all over — I enjoyed them. - they have specialty drinks from time to time. - overall consistent restaurant every time I go.

I love this place. This is a great restaurant if you have one in your area. Lots of food options, the pancakes are huge and one would fill you up. Plain Pancake and Pancake with banana and granola. We got egg whites but they don't give you a lot it's almost like they give you one egg white. We also had a drink called the Purple Haze. So delicious, get it while you can. The front desk staff is so nice and friendly. We did take out so really didn't experience the other staff members.

First watch is a great experience and has great food that taste very fresh. Furthermore, the customer service is always great as well. Highly recommended. I do recommend that you guys begin to show support for our nation's heroes and offer a military discount. It would be nice of you.

Went here for brunch on 9.9.2020. Melby seated us as soon as we got into the door, took our appetizer order, holey donuts, and had it out to us in record time. He was also serving other people, seating other patrons, and checking out customers leaving. The food order also came quickly and it was delicious. In hindsight I should of tipped closer to 40%, but next time I go I will definately be asking for Melby! First watch is my first choice for brunch now.

First time we visited, it was a few hours prior to a flight (during Covid time) on a Sunday and the wait time was over 30 mins so we decided to leave. Now that we moved here, we decided to finally try it (still about 30-45 min wait). Food was quite decent, not much to complain about. Our server was really awesome (not sure if it's a thing there or just a busy day - she basically just left us a coffee pot and water jug to help ourselves lol). I was disappointed about my Tri-fecta cause it came out to be a tiny portion of food on my humongous plate! However, the banana nut pancake that didn't come with syrup actually tasted perfect! It was not dry, not too soggy, banana taste was not too overwhelming. The eggs were good and my one and only sausage was yummy. I'm a tiny person so it was a fair amount of food for me and I actually finished it, but if you're a bigger person, just be warned that you'll need to order more food! Hubs got the Farmhouse Hash which was definitely a bigger portion than mine and that tasted realllllllly delicious! Would totally recommend that. All their ingredients tasted fresh and even the orange juice for the mimosa was amazing. The combo of champagne used (from CA) was a great combo! So coming from NYC to LA to OH, yeah, would totally come back again and try something different! Just need to remember to get on a wait-list before we head there. Oh and the price we paid here was just WORTH IT!

Food & cocktails were delicious! Service with a smile! The only room for improvement is waiting time for food, but definitely worth the wait! Featured: the works omelet, farmhouse skillet hash, million dollar bloody mary & spiked lavender lemonade😋🤩

This place was very busy. If you call in ahead of time it will reduce your wait time. I ordered the original French toast with scrambled eggs in bacon. The waiter had a heavy accent, which wasn't a problem. I think there was a language barrier though. He wasn't as attentive to us as he was with everyone else. I don't know what happened, but everyone else at my table received their food before I did. I only received my eggs and bacon. When I received my French toast everyone else was almost done with their meals. I had to send my eggs back because they were ice cold by the time I received my French toast. I give the French Toast a 6 out of 10. My overall experience 7 out of 10

Dine in is great, to-go orders not so much. Today my dish was very dry, compared to the same dish I got there in person a few days ago (photos from both) which was absolutely amazing. Have had some issues in the past especially with eggs, and potatoes not being cooked through. Bummer.

Mmmm...I love First Watch, but...not so much this location 😬. The tables were sticky and grimmy...eww, and the the silverware had food particles stuck to it, and the coffee carafes brought to the table were also grimmy and sticky and didn't look as if they had been cleaned off before they were brought to our table . The service was good, but this location could use a deep clean.

Great variety of amazing dishes to pick from...items you just won't get at the chain breakfast places. And you can tell the dishes are made with fresh ingredients and are not prepackaged. Our meals were wonderful...we will be back again. PS - their bread is amazing!

Food was top notch, even tried a juice that we ended getting one to go. The power went out shortly after our food came out. The staff was friendly and did their best to accommodate people. We're quite kind in such a frustrating moment, with no clue when the power would be back. Wish they had one in my town!

Great service. Fresh quality ingredients. Tried the avocado toast, came back another time and had a traditional breakfast. Best eggs I've had. Considering how great everything is, it's reasonably priced. Portions are decent. Recommend. Will go back again.

I'm thinking it must be me. I usually order the same thing the same way, regardless of which First Watch it is, and yet I very rarely get how I want it. BLTE, no L. Potatoes on the side, ketchup. Sandwich on toasted Sourdough bread. Today? Lots of L, one little rotten potato, and someone used a match to toast the bread. Will this stop me from eating at First Watch? Not necessarily, but sooner or later, I'm going to get tired of making the same requests.

Went to eat here for the first time ever. It was definitely a busy afternoon. It was a party of three including a toddler. We were greeted promptly and got to our seat just as fast. Our server was amazing, very outgoing and super professional. We loved it so much that we will be back soon.

Great breakfast foods! Much better than your average Diner. Staff was friendly, food was outstanding, portions were generous and prices were very reasonable. A great meal guaranteed!

  • 4/5 Kaan G. 2 years ago on Google
It was good. My only complaint is that there's extremely little that's vegan. The server helped me pick something suitable, but I would have loved to have more options. Maybe a vegan egg alternative, or a tofu scramble would be lovely.

Good food, good service. It's always busy and there's usually a wait, but we sit at the community table on busy mornings for faster service - my husband and I have both spent time in Europe where this is very common. It's easy to choose between making new friends or keeping to yourself, and neither feels awkward. The table is large enough and seating well spaced to accommodate privacy. The food options always include simple basics as well as unique culinary creations you won't find elsewhere. It did take longer than expected to get our food after placing an order.

Love this place. Their waffles are delicious. And their quiona power bowl with chicken, kale, carrots, house dried tomatoes, pesto and feta cheese on top of quiona is my new favorite! P.s. hot chocolate is good too with free refills. AND THEY do serve alcoholics beverages 😏

I love this place. But their prices haven gotton to high. Its like their trying to not only keep up with inflation but beat it. Their prices are 3-5 years ahead of everybody else. The food is 5 stars.

1st time ever there and I've heard so much about it. And gotta say....its good, but I think I can make better breakfast. Theres like no seasoning or flavor. But, its healthy. And filling. Pumpkin pancakes are really good though. It's so busy our waitress didnt even ask us if we wanted more coffee or anything. Loud. Came out of the bathroom and asked to put my mask on when I was like almost to the door. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back tbh.

I got the Florentine Eggs Benedict and it was delightful. Everything was cooked to perfection. The food was flavorful but not overbearing and everything complemented each thing well. I thought I would need salt b as I usually need a pinch with this dish but not here- they literally made it perfectly. Our server was great as well. Despite the place being very busy she was very friendly and attentive but never made me feel rushed. Would definitely recommend this place. This was my first time coming so I didn't know what to expect but I cannot wait to come back. My only regret is that I didn't order a mimosa- but I definitely will next time! Highly recommend.

My Mom & brother were visiting from out of town. I brought them here for brunch this morning because I knew they were open & the food is always excellent. Our hostess was superb, even remembering my name when our table was ready. Our server was wonderful, upbeat & professional, moving flawlessly between all the tables even though it was quite busy. My brother is not easily impressed, but he & mother both commented how great the food was. We will definitely be back again.

EDIT: Changed from 1star to 3. Just spoke with Mike, the general manager, and he was apologetic and assurred me that he would be speaking with the staff to better understand the situation and correct the behavior. He does not agree with what transpired and made it clear he doesn’t want to lose my business. He said he will drop a GC in the mail. Greatly appreciate the time he took to talk with me and asked that we speak again if I choose to come back. Thanks, Mike. Original Comment: The Hamilton rd store has is the rudest staff I have ever encountered and I was there for 2 mins. I walked in without a mask to have breakfast with my dad. They asked me to wear a mask and I didn’t have one. We went with the plan to eat outside so I politely said we want to eat outside. The hostess was fine with that but then a rude male worker yelled at me while walking by “you need to wear a mask when you’re here”. I explained that I want to sit outside and he rudely persisted with, “well, while you’re inside you need to wear a mask”. I started to walk outside and and he again, made a rude comment, “it’s not that hard”. The hostess was seating us outside and then I decided to leave. I will not spend money somewhere that is rude to customers. Mind you, the place was not busy! It’s Friday morning, not a busy Sat or Sun. This society has so much entitlement with the issue of masks that now it will not only affect people’s health, but will now affect businesses even moreso. It’s sad.
