Located in the north Clintonville, this location of Tee Jaye's provides the classic, "country place" feel in a more modern setting. More like a trendy, coffee bar and less like roadside diner, the layout of this particular Tee Jaye's is more spacious, the décor is clean and bright, and the menu is familiar, with a few new items (including draft beer). Admittedly, I was expecting a 3 to 4 star experience, and I was proven pleasantly wrong. Everything just tastes so fresh, and at the same price point. Every Tee Jaye's should take note, and follow suit. This is the right way to update an old, Columbus staple. The Good: Prompt, friendly staff. Very clean. Excellent décor. Country-style favorites in a trendy setting. On the bus-line. Bike Parking available. The Bad: The parking lot seems a little counter-intuitive, but has ample spaces, and is easily reached from the side street (there is no entrance to High street from the lot). If you're familiar with Tee Jaye's, or if you're looking for a new spot that serves breakfast all day, I'd definitely recommend checking it out.

Disappointing first experience at this location. Placed a curbside order and after waiting 30 mins I called and asked for status. Food came out to me lukewarm, no utensils, napkins, or condiments in the bag. Cheese that I paid for the hash browns was not there. Portion size fit for a child.

I recently went to Teejay’s new location and was pleasantly surprised. They have updated and modernized both their menu and their staffs’ attire & greeting. No more “howdy!” when you walk in the door. The food was also tasty, filling, and affordable. I will definitely go again.

Stopped into the new TeeJaye's on their second day open. Fun, bright and airy location, good food (The Barnyard Buster never disappoints) and quick friendly service. Was tempted to get a Mimosa with my breakfast but decided to stick with coffee!

First time visiting this location. Loved the concept/decor of this specific location (garage doors, nice outside seating, rustic farm theme inside). Nice/updated menu options (I had a power bowl). The wait was minimal and the staff was attentive (the were low on staff, but you'd never know it). Very close to work; will definitely go back.

The new space really works! I don't think I've ever wandered from the breakfast menu, but everything is just great! My kids love the waffles and pancakes, I'm usually happy with a couple eggs and bacon. Service is always excellent, and the coffee is always flowing 😁

2 stars because we have been there a few times with decent service. Most of the time, the wait for food is long, it's served luke warm or cold and things are forgotten. We have had a couple of great waitresses that were friendly and made the experience pleasant. Today , however there was barely any wait to get in. A party of 5 and a party of 2 ahead of us. They were working on seating the party of 5 and cleaning the table. A blond waitress came over after about 10 minutes and asked how many in our party, I said 5. She immediately sighed and rolled her eyes. I thought. I guess she doesn't like the fact we have 5. This same waitress was outside smoking in the parking lot as we left. Then another party on 5 came in, 1 person being a toddler. The manager came over asked them and then us how many. He looked around then said come with me. I thought he meant my party who had been there 10-15 minutes before the other party. He said no, them! Then turned around and told me it was really difficult to accommodate parties more than 4 at this restaurant. When he came back I asked why he had said that, especially after seating 2 tables of more than 4. I told him we have been there before and it was kind of rude for him to say we were difficult to accommodate, especially after he accommodated 2 tables of 5, 1 who was in line after us. I simply said we would not be back Yes, I agree with a previous poster that staff needs to work on professionalism i.e. smoking in parking lot, eye rolling and inappropriate comments!

Stopped in to try the new location. It was very disappointing. The Barnyard Buster served to me was inedible. Cold gravy the consistency of oatmeal, eggs not cooked how I ordered. At least I didn't have to waste a lot of money on it. Wife and I laughed when the guy sitting behind us declared loudly, "This is the worst coffee I've ever tasted." We will not bother going back.

This is 1 of the best breakfast restaurants in the city. The service is always great. The portion size is a tad small for the price when it comes to the corn beef hash. It is usually on the cold side inside so you will need to bring a jacket.

The food is always good and reasonably priced, which is increasingly becoming a rarity. I've always had great service there, with servers coming by at about the right frequency - not so often as to be annoying or so infrequently that you feel ignored. It can get a bit loud at times when it's busy, but that's not uncommon anywhere.

Such friendly people who answer the phone at parsons Ave and North High St. Food is always good. My favorite is The Barnyard Buster with lots of honey. I love this place.

The waitress was friendly and when my barn yard buster was brought out to me cold she quickly replaced it with a nice hot one.

Worst service ever. We were told to wait to be seated, the manager was messing with a register while 3 waitresses were at counter, and kitchen staff were hanging out at counter. There were only eight customers in store at various stages of eating. After ten minutes a waitress told us to sit anywhere, really could have done that earlier. They brought drinks and after sitting there another fifteen minutes waiting to place our order and being totally ignored we walked out. We then saw manager out back smoking. Won't be back.

The footprint of the restaurant is much smaller than the old location and the menu has been put on a diet. The food and the staff make up for it in a good way. I was very pleased with the presentation and more importantly the taste of the food and the staff was very welcoming. The new atmosphere is more is a drastic change from the original on Morse however it was also very family oriented and inviting. I look forward to being able to dine for years to come.

Glad to have a traditional breakfast spot within walking distance. Everything we had was delicious and exceeded my expectations. Our server Cortney was pleasant and attentive. I was surprised to learn they have zero fruit available - which struck me as odd at a Clintonville breakfast spot. Would strongly suggest adding a side of fruit to the menu as one of the sides. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I are so glad TeeJayes is back in Clintonville. The food is still as good as I remember. I love the new building. I have to say I did kind of miss the nostalgic country music playing in the background but not a total loss. They have bloody Mary’s and mimosas for breakfast and draft beer, wine, and cocktails for dinner. Prices are quality are great. We’ll definitely keep coming back for years to come.

This is the most beautiful Tee Jay's I have seen. The service was outstanding and the portions were extremely bigger than anything I have gotten at other ones. I would recommend this place a thousand times over!!

Good food great customer service I will say the coffee has been not so good lately taste like hot water seems like everyone’s cutting corners on the coffee lately tastes like they’re reusing the same coffee filter more than once, that’s my only complaint.

I had food in my hand eating over my plate and the waitress walked up and snatched my plate and walked away. Leaving me sitting there with food in my hand and no plate to eat over. She didn't say a word. Everyone else (busers, other waitresses, etc.) asked everytime they came to our table if we would like them to take any plates, glasses, etc. Our actual waitress, did not!

Star rating is real tough here as my meal was excellent and the wife's was miserable. I had steak and eggs. It was perfect. The wife had chipped beef on toast. It was cold and coagulated when asked to warm it up. They warmed it up in the microwave and it came back Even more glumpy. Knowing their service I'm sure they would have redone it but we were starving to death so the wife ate what she had.

First time in quite some time. The old place was really in need of some "refresh". Lunch service was good, but a little slower than expected - but acceptable. Very attentive though. Is it like eating at J Gilbert's? No. WAY better "comfort food" than almost anywhere (better than Cracker Barrell currently) and much better price. I will DEFINITELY be returning.

Customer service was good. But it ends there, I had chicken wings, menu said you get 10 wings, well I received about 5 wings and 5 tiny pieces. The meal also passed through me within 20 minutes, meaning caused by external factors like viruses or bacteria. I would stay away from the restaurant

Restaurant is always a bit chilly for my liking. I have to remember to take a sweater to be comfortable. The last several visits, I have had to send my scrambled eggs back because they were not very warm. They quickly took them back to warm them up, but in the meantime, my breakfast partner is dining without me. I asked for my bacon to be crisp. When it was served, not only was it cold, but it could be folded in half. Crisp bacon should not be folded. I sent it back. The server had the nerve to ask if I wanted it burnt. Ummm NOOO! I want it crisp. And why does butter that is served for spreading on pancakes so cold that it has to be smashed up to be softened before it can be used??? REALLY???

Great to get back to Tee Jaye's. Incredibly reasonable prices and the Barnyard Buster is a staple choice but everything tastes great! Been recommending it for years and will continue to do so! EDIT: Marking this as a four star review until Tee Jaye's gets my name right. Lol

Came here Sunday 6/10/23 FIRST TIME AT THIS LOCATION Server with the red hair and pink nails didn’t introduce herself just came and asked us what we wanted to drink. She brought those back a few minutes later and took our order. About 15-20 mins later she comes out to say they messed up my food and is gonna bring out the mess up for my boyfriend as they were now out of biscuits and he ordered a barnyard. She took my boyfriends empty cup to refill it but never brought the cup back. They brought out food while we waited for biscuits to be done. Once we were done with food she brought out the barnyard with dark crispy biscuits so they must have forgot about them being in the oven. He then reminds here that she took his cup 10 minutes ago. She did go and get him another and apologized. The conversations that were had very loudly in front of customers were ridiculous. Talking about fighting customers, cussing, the man of the night etc. It’s definitely not the Teejayes I’m used to that was torn down. I do love Michelle there who was also from the old Teejayes. Wish I would have known Michelle worked at this location we would have asked her to be our server before it was too late.

I’ve ordered delivery from here a few times now, don’t waste your time or money. They consistently forget the best parts of my meal (ie: bacon, sausage, gravy, even potatoes). They also didn’t include utensils or anything of that nature. To me, based on multiple instances, it really just seems to be full of employees who couldn’t care less about the customer or the money they spent. Not to mention I had to salt and pepper all my own food because it was bland as could be. Ridiculous. I’ll never be back.

I was a fan of the previous location. The food is smaller and more expensive. I really only go because my daughter was always a fan but she did not like her food at all. The waitress asked if she wanted a box after only taking one bit. She said No. I think it should have been refunded but that would be the right thing to do.

I came with my parents and spouse after an unfortunate first visit. We received very prompt and friendly service. The garage doors were open for about half our visit which we enjoyed! We were all very satisfied with our meals, and our coffee was hot and fresh. My dad, who had suggested we come here to begin with the last time, especially enjoyed his meal, and said he would definitely come back again. I had the Monte Cristo because I couldn’t choose between breakfast and lunch—it was super tasty, sweet and savory. Our server anticipated our needs, and came back with anything we asked for very quickly. The manager was visible and came over at the end to ask how everything was. The vibe in the restaurant is very updated farmhouse, I always remember the TeeJaye’s at the corner of Morse and High and this is just such a fun updated interior for this restaurant concept, very bright and open. I’m glad I came back to give it another try, I enjoyed myself and would 100% come back when I’m in the area.

Service is good but don't order pancakes or waffles unless you like them "al dente" I've ordered both several times and requested BROWN. I've given up on them. Pancakes brown on one side but pasty white on reverse. Waffle same way. This morning I ordered waffle specified brown, once again not. Waitress put on grill but it doesn't taste the same. I hate to complain soo often but if you don't want eggs not much to choose from. I am not a heavy eater so try to find small portions.
