Nice looking restaurant. Parking in the back, next to a bank. Self-service restaurant. Order first and then clean up after yourself. Good service. Good staff. My family and I had Pho. It was surprisingly not bad. Good amount of greens and meat. You can do half-half meat. Broth and noodle was okay.

6-1-Pho. Gotta love the name. It essentially is like chipotle where you can pick out what you want and all your toppings. It wasn’t the best pho I ever had, but it was still pretty good. The egg rolls were mid, not the best, but not bad at all. The space was smaller than I was expecting, but it was clean and nicely decorated. Overall, my experience here was good.

Employees have little to no knowledge of the food and it upset both my friend and Is stomach. The broth also had no flavor at all unlike any Vietnamese place I’ve been to and had pho at before. Guess the red flag upon walking in was the staff being white and not asian. The prices for appetizers were also extremely high for the quality received. Banh mi tasted decent. Would not get pho here again.

The homies and I had a craving for banh mi/pho and had to investigate the best Viet spots in Columbus. This is how we landed on 6-1-Pho. As another reviewer mentioned, it’s like the Vietnamese chipotle. You go through a line and can pick toppings for your pho. I got their combo meat special pho and was very pleased. The broth was flavorful and not too sweet as some places make it. There was a generous portion of meat. Overall the size of the bowl was decent too. A very satisfying meal. My friends got the bowl of rice with chicken and the banh mi. The bread for the banh mi wasn’t a typical toasted baguette that we’re used to but it wasn’t bad. All in all I say it’s a good place you get your banh mi and pho cravings addressed. Random aside - the bathroom was very clean as well.

You choose what you want from the soup base to what guess in it. Absolutely celiac safe, just read the sauce bottles and such. Coke fountain. Great cookies.

Food is good, but the prices are a little high. I got the beef PHO with raw steak - I wish the steak was sliced a little thinner and not so well cooked. They put hot broth (or water?) in the bowl once, then drain it, and add hot broth again. This resulted in the noodles being a little overcooked. Also, the broth seems a little thin, would like a richer and more complex flavor. Plus I don't think they put any crispy shallots?!? I also wish there was slightly more protein, but, the $4.50 additional price for "extra meat" was just too much considering how much the soup costs to begin with. (And it looked like only a couple ounces, possibly even less 🤷🏻‍♂️) I can get an amazing bowl of TONKOTSU RAMEN, in the Tokyo airport for substantially less money - why are prices so high here in the US?!? Anyway, the the food is good and the only price that really upset me was the "Vietnamese Coffee" which was disappointing and thin - I do recommend trying this place for yourself at least once, and I will be going back - just not particularly often, unless they make some improvements. I find myself coming here to 6-1-PHO because my old favorite PHO place in the North Market has really declined in both quality and value since the ownership changed several years ago - that place USED to be an easy five stars.

Hubby and I decided to try Pho for the first time. We both ordered the veg pho with veggie broth and it was a surprisingly tasty meal with great flavor. He ordered the veg spring rolls to go with his and he is in love. The customer service was great as well. We will definitely be back!

It was really tasty, the cooked beef tasted great by dipping in the sauce of sriracha and hoisin sauce. It is like an American type pho, but it is better than some of those Vietnamese ones.

This restaurant is to Vietnamese food what Chipotle is to Mexican or Bibibop is to Korean. Same service style. The food was very fresh and delicious, although the egg rolls were surprisingly generic. Plenty of vegan and gluten-free options. We ate outside on their lovely gated patio. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They did not have a wide enough variety of sauces for my taste. They also sell Chinese sodas in plastic cans with aluminum lids (see photo), which makes recycling difficult if not impossible. The green apple soda was delicious. At $3.50 for a 12-ounce can, it had better be!

6-1-Pho is the restaurant I most regularly frequent in Columbus. I like it a lot and the prices are good, the food is even better and the workers are always friendly. What I like about this place is the food can satisfy a meat eater, a vegan, or a gluten free person all the same. I generally get the marinated tofu pho and my partner the chicken pho- both are great and I think their broth is perfect. They started using flatter noodles which are less good than the more round noodles they used to use so I hope they switch back! I get to go and they have this down to a science- they have a good packing system that makes sure you don’t spill and the food tastes good when you get it home.

6-1-Pho offers a nice casual atmosphere and delicious food. The staff is friendly, and quick. The ingredients are fresh and the broth is also very tasty. My only gripe is the beef can be fatty/chewy so I prefer to get the chicken bowl. If you're not bothered by that though, you can't really go wrong with anything here!

It is a fast food restaurant for pho and it is great as you don’t need to wait. The restaurant is small but people come and go quickly. You can get different types of pho (beef, chicken or vegetarian) and customize the ingredients. I love my veggie pho with marinated tofu. Good portion and quite tasty. You can park on the back side.

I ate there twice and it was awesome. So I went back with my 5 year old niece. All she wanted was a bowl of white rice with some butter. I asked and the girl looked at me like, huh? It's not on the menu, she said. So I asked, maybe you could get some butter from the kitchen? She said no...I can't do that. She said, we have chicken? But my niece is a vegetarian, so we taste-tested the tofu and it was disgusting, so we left. Personally, I would have tried to get a pat of butter from the kitchen, but I was not a Karen about it. Didn't ask to speak to the manager or anything. We just left and haven't been back. There are too many other restaurants out there to give my money to. So..it's good but they don't really have a kid's menu, especially not a picky vegetarian kid's menu.

6–1-Pho is my new favorite for pho! I mean the broth itself it’s soooo delicious! I always get the thin beef that cooks in the broth. So yummy! Add some hot sauce and I’m good to go. Side note, I saw the review below about the workers being white? I have no idea how that serves any relevance 🤣 they aren’t cooking anything, just plating your food silly man!!

Really great tasting phô that’s very customizable. The portions are very large and is reasonably priced! The staff was very friendly and helpful for first time phô eaters. I’m definitely going to be going back!

Pho and rice bowls are decently priced and very good! The sauces they have taste just like the sauce my mom made me when I was growing up. Highly recommended! Would’ve taken a pic of my food but it was gone in a few seconds.

I don’t pass an opportunity to try a banh mi sandwich, especially if I see such high rating. Price is a bit too much, but seeing the size, I understand. Typically the banh mi are half that size and half that price. The banh mi is below, here’s why, 1) the bread, it’s not the crunchy French bakery bread, this bread is most reminiscent of Burger King with the yellow and white speckles, the bread felt heavy and dense, soft to the bite. 2) the innards lacked the umami flavor from the pate, and too much pickled radish over powered the other flavors like the Sriracha mayo and the meat, nice pickling though. And lastly the size and cuts, I think it’ll be more complimentary to have the jalapeños and cucumbers to be cut at an angle so it would have a longer form than cutting straight down. This allows an even bite since the sandwich is long. Also perhaps more profitable to sell a smaller sandwich for a cheaper price and focus on managing the innard portions. And alas, The saving grace is the eggrolls, the pork and mushroom eggrolls. These were delightful and I understand why the lady behind me wanted to buy all of them, luckily I was ahead of her. The insides were really juicy and flavorful and fried to the perfect doneness. Seven bucks for three of these is worth every penny.

Must visit when in Columbus, the food is fantastic! Great vegan and vegetarian options and beautiful presentation. Pho is very filling and marinated tofu is just out of this world! Can’t recommend this place enough.

The pho was so-so. The broth was a little less flavorful than the smell outside the place would have you believe. The banh mi was amazing though.

Went here with friends for dinner but was a little disappointed by the lack of flavor. Wish the beef slices were thinner and fresher. And not worth the high price. Otherwise service is very fast. Very cute interior design. Nice staff.

This is my go-to spot on a rainy or cold day or anytime I get a soup craving. The broth is excellent but also have fun doctoring it up with the different combinations of sauces they provide. I've also gotten the banh mi several times and it's a great sandwich that could stand on its own as well. I love the fast-casual set up so it's extremely convenient for takeout or dine-in.

This location has some of the best customer service of any fast casual restaurant I have been to. The employees are so kind, patient, and good at communicating their process. If you want huge portions, a pleasant dining area, and great customer service, then this is a great option. The parking lot is a nice bonus too.

Was a bit hesitant about this place when I found out it was fast-casual style. However when I tried the raw steak beef pho noodle soup all of my initial judgements were quickly disproven. The broth was extremely flavorful and the customer service was exceptional. Everyone who worked at the restaurant was very friendly and helped make the experience even better. Easily deserves a recommendation to anyone looking for pho or Vietnamese food in the Columbus area.

Hot and fresh food made in front of you. You get a container of broth that you can pour into your bowl. Very clean and good atmosphere.

Fast fresh food. Typical get in line and tell them what you want. Except they bring it to you & it's definitely not typical fast food!

I’ve been coming here since they first opened. (25 minute drive) I’ve never had their Pho, only their Bahn Mi. Its one of the absolute best, except when it’s made by employees who either don’t eat the Bahn Mi or simply just don’t care. The reason I’m taking a star off is because of their consistency. I have been ordering the same thing and nothing else. I’ve tried addressing this situation in the past with no luck. The last time I went in there to get my Bahn Mi. They quoted me 10 minutes. I got there and had to wait another 10 minutes. They were completely empty and there was one other person waiting on their food. I watched as this guy stood there laughing and “possibly” flirting with the other employee while he made my Bahn Mi. They were the only 2 employees that I visually saw there that day. He wasn’t paying attention to what he was doing and I know this because he was staring at the other employee and laughing almost the entire time. I stood there and hawk-eyed him the whole time. It’s like I was invisible as I waited for my food. My Bahn Mi was one of the worst I’ve ever had. Almost no cucumbers. No Jalapeños as requested. The cilantro was almost all on one side and it was definitely missing something else that I couldn’t put my finger on. It also tasted dry and didn’t have the sweetness it normally does. I’m posting this review in hopes that the owner will see it and speak to their employees about consistency and behavior. Below is a picture of the Bahn Mi that I spoke of. EDIT: To the owner. the date I was in was November 30th. Thank you for the response. I will eventually edit this complaint out of my review.

I had never had Pho before. A friend said she loved it and I said let's go. I have been missing out!!! This was so delicious. I got the brisket with beef broth and 3 pork egg rolls. The amount of food and sauces they give mind blowing!!! I will be returning here. The staff was super nice very helpful and had all around great attitudes.

Worst pho I ever had. Once you've had good pho, everywhere else is less than. Sorry. Also price gauging on drinks? Why?

  • 5/5 Eclipsed W. 9 months ago on Google
The staff are friendly. Parking in the back so you're not fighting for a place to park. Sat in the outside dining area once we got our meal. The pho was great! It is one of my comfort foods and made my day better than how it had started. Will definitely eat here again soon <3

Pho-nominal! We drive 45 minutes one way to get our pho from this specific place! Trust me, we would love a shorter drive but no other place can quite get it like 6-1-pho! We love the chicken pho and spring veggie rolls! Our toddler loves the marinade chicken rice bowl. We will always be loyal customers!

This is not only our favorite Vietnamese or vegan friendly restaurant in Columbus but our favorite restaurant period. Counter service makes everything customizable. The Pho is my favorite thing to get. The veggie egg roles were recently made vegan and they are the best egg roles I've ever had.
