The food is decent, but the issue lies with the mandatory 18% gratuity included. It would be much better if the option to give a lower percentage was available. Personally, I would willingly give 20% if it wasn't obligatory to give at least 18%. Being forced to pay a certain amount takes away our freedom of choice, which doesn't sit right with me. Instead of relying on customers to supplement their employees' salaries, the restaurant should consider paying their staff a more competitive wage from their own profits.

This place is really cool... All the food is very good but hard to remember because it is unique combinations of ingredients. We started off with the donuts appitizer which were awesome. Wifey had some kind of breakfast sandwich on french toast and potatoes which was very good. I had this eggs Benedict thing with chicken and an onion rings that was out of this world. They have a unique menu with delicious food - it is worth a visit... This is not Denny's grand slam breakfast it is unique and awesome.

French toast on Challah bread is absolutely amazing! Long wait but it was worth it. Very busy in the 11 am time frame. It was so good that I tried ordering a pickup order the next day. When the person who took my order told me the price (which seemed a bit pricey), I asked and she said it was automatic gratuity on all orders. During the dine in experience, I didn't mind the 18% gratuity because I always tip 20% or more. But 18% gratuity on you packing my order up for me to pick up, no thank you. That's just me. I tip 10% for packing up my order. I would have paid $65 for four orders of french toast. Nah. That might be normal to everyone else but not to me.

Everything was great! We had the woahnuts, breakfast quesadilla, and breakfast pretzel! For drinks we tried the grilled pineapple, strawberry lemonade mimosa, and drunch punch; they were delicious. Highly recommend trying them out.

1st time there, and I can say I will be back. My only disappointment was that the silverware was not clean, which they did get me some more, but overall, everything was wonderful

My first time was at Drunch this weekend and it’s the perfect place for big tables for groups. They have a lot of space and larger tables. The downfall is they were a little all over the place. They told us it would be a 30-40min wait and we waited just about an hour and were only able to sit at the bar. The food was pretty good, I love the donut bites and I got the loaded hash and that was decent. My friend got the avocado Benedict and said it wasn’t great and under seasoned! I’d recommend it for a group of 6+ for a fun chill boozy brunch.

The menu contained lots of options and they all looked delicious. The food we ordered was amazing. Incredible flavors, ample portions, and great drink options to go with it. The service was impeccable and we never felt like we were overlooked. All in all a 5 star visit!

I don't give out five stars very often, but I thoroughly enjoyed this place. Very good food, very good service and very nice atmosphere in a kind of intimate restaurant. We will definitely be back and visit another time. I'm sure we'll try something different next time, and I'm sure we won't be let down. Keep up the great work!

Loved the place!! My potatoes were cold but everything was delicious!! Service was great and quick! I don't love the mandatory 18% tip. I usually do 20% but if you are going to add it on at 18% I left it as that. Since our service was great I wasn't too upset but still don't love it.

Came in on a Saturday morning and it was pretty busy but they had a seat. Not a huge fan of the mandatory 18% gratuity, but its posted right at the door and they are honest about it. Tipping culture in the US is created by greedy business owners to cheap to pay their employees a living wage, but that's not the employees fault and the service was excellent. Breakfast egg rolls were good. A little cold inside and super hot on the outide, which was a little offputting. But they were obviously precooked and frozen and just flash fried to serve. The chicken and waffles was amazing! The grilled pineapple cocktail was very generously mixed and very good! Will definitely be back to work my way through the menu.

Drunch Eatery + Bar is a fantastic choice while in the Columbus area. Drunch service local sourced brunch and cocktails from 9a to 2p. I had the privilege to eat here twice during our stay. The first time I had the Drunch Frittata which consists od eggs, cheese, sausage, bacon, and ham served over Drunch fries. The Frittata was incredible as it was the perfect combination of eggs and meat with the Drunch fries as a perfect complement. The eggs, the eggs, simply the best eggs I have ever had! The second time we ate here we started off with some Woahnuts which are waffle mini donuts. The Woahnuts were delicious and didn't last long as we devoured them. For our main course we had the Breakfast Burger and the Bretzel. The Breakfast Burger was a 1/2 lb burger with an incredible egg on it served with a side Drunch fries. The combination of Burger with the egg was amazing. The Bretzel is a Bavarian Pretzel topped with cheese grits, bacon and eggs. The Bretzel was good at first bit, mainly getting the Pretzel and grits with a little bacon. As I worked my way in to the egg, the Bretzel instantly went up a notch. The combination of the incredible egg with the pretzel, grits and bacon was tasty. We had the same server both times we went and she did a fantastic job. I highly recommend you try the Drunch Eatery + Bar if you are in the area. Remember the hours are 9a to 2p so you don't miss out. And remember the eggs, oh the eggs, oh so good!

I loved this place !!!!! I walked into no wait. I sat at the bar and the staff was extremely friendly. The mimosa was 🤩 flavorful and delicious . The crab cake Bennie was awesome 🤩 . I enjoyed the banana bread French toast. These were the best home fries and peppers that I’ve had in a long while ❤️. The wonderful young woman (Montana) who took my order was sweet and attentive. Really great portion sizes

First time at Drunch and I had a really good experience. The hostess was great.. I didn't get her name. Sidney was our waitress. She was amazing and checked on us frequently. And had great suggestions on the menu. We ordered woahnuts. They were my least favorite. It literally takes like a waffle, which was fine. But the sauce didn't complement it. It was like a fruity syrup with sprinkles and a glaze. I think they should reconsider and give different sauces, maybe a trio? I think it would have been better with like a bourbon syrup or caramel sauce and some powdered sugar. I got the breakfast nachos- DELICIOUS. The only thing I would change is maybe adding MORE of the corn and bean salsa and chipotle sauce. Lol Nephew got the breakfast burrito- even more delicious! He also got wings in sweet chilli- the sauce was ok, had more of a Teriyaki feel. But wings were cooked nicely. Friend had the French toast sandwich- it was massive. But she said it was good. She wished it had a sauce to compliment the French toast. She also had the drunch mimosa which she would recommend. OJ- they have Dole in the bottles. It was the best. Overall I'd recommend. Just remember, no reservations and all members of party must be there. So the earlier you go the better. Looking forward to returning to try other things and cocktails!

Wow. Killer breakfast... massive portion sizes, great food, super creative menu. The service was very helpful in recommending a meal, and food came out of the kitchen very quickly. I had the French toast sandwich subbed turkey bacon, which was excellent. Breakfast potatoes were seasoned well, unique flavor, on point. I could barely eat half of it so be prepared for leftovers. Waitress was very nice and accomodating. Can't wait to come back!

We called in on a Sunday Brunch before leaving town to head back to Indy. We are so happy we did. The menu is very easy to navigate & review. The Brunch items appear to be available all week / open to close. The food was amazing. The Drunch Home Fries are amazing & it’s hard to explain but you get a hint of German Style Potato Salad flavor? perhaps the perfect amount of vinegar? to taste? Either way try them. You can’t miss them on the menu. Served Hot / Warm / Cold ~ doesn’t matter. Great served either way. The other staple is the Chipotle Drizzle. I am not a Chipotle guy typically & had mine on the side. It was so good! I wanted to take a bottle home. Our server was great & very responsive & was always making sure things were great. We were greeted by a very nice hostess who gave great info about how things work including “auto grat” which is just fine with me & understandable being set in a college town. This place has a very wonderful ebony vibe & feel about it. I will definitely call in again on my visits to Columbus.

I've been here twice and both times got the Drunch Burger. I wish I had taken a picture of the burger, but I was so hungry and it was delicious and disappeared before I remembered. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they worked with all my alterations to the order (no cheese, well cooked burger, side salad instead of fries). I was really impressed with the side salad - greens with tomatoes and onions. Simple but satisfying. The atmosphere was laid back and I felt so comfortable that I ended up chatting with my friend for much longer than it took to eat. I hear it gets busy on weekends, but would definitely recommend on a weekday if you want a chill atmosphere and good food.

The food is AMAZING...!! I thought nothing could compare to Superchef's quality of food until I came here. I've only been here a handful of times, but the food is consistently good! The only issue I have is the automatic 18% gratuity for dine-in. It states due to covid, but are we really still in a pandemic? So, once I attempted to place an online order for pick up to avoid the excessive wait times for a table and avoid the automatic dine-in gratuity. The online ordering wouldn't cooperate so I called. It was a big hassle from the get go as they originally refused to take my order over the phone until management got involved. Then they weren't able to take off the 18% gratuity (even though I wasn't dining in and was picking up my order to go and they originality told me it COULD be taken off) so they ended up just giving me a "free" item that was "equivalent" to the 18% that was charged to me. I didn't end up calculating the math on it, but was really just over the whole ordeal. Needless to say, I've gone back but am reluctant to tip anymore than what's being "forced" and would actually eat there more often if the automatic gratuity was no longer imposed. Also, exiting through the back is weird, but I guess necessary to avoid the mass of people waiting for a table at the entrance. Overall, a great place to go during a time where it's not busy and you have some money to splurge.

Looked cute, sounded cute. Went inside and waited 15 minutes to get drinks. Everyone basically just ignored us until a new person seemed to appear and came over and asked if we had been helped. I got biscuits and gravy with an egg. It was a bowl full of gravy and I couldn't see anything else, more like a soup. While it tasted fine it wasn't how I was used to it hahaha. Wife ordered a black bean burger, they said they didn't have it but had a veggie burger. We asked if it was fresh or frozen, it was frozen so she got the hummus plate and avocado fingers. The hummus and avocado fingers were good. First experience so only 3 stars because perhaps it was a bad day. Place is cool looking and has an eclectic menu, might try again if the service picked up.

Nice atmosphere the food umm umm Awesome for sure. Worth the wait and a must try at least once trust me you'll like it 😉 They do automatically include an 18% gratuity for your server and they do let you know up front .. FYI You definitely need to know you enter in the front door but exit behind the building and walk around back to the front lot if that's where you parked.

OMG, amazing...this is THE BEST brunch spot I have ever been too laid help me. Columbus, Ohio I am jealous because you need to be in Texas. Mrs. Ray gives ya'll 5 stars and ask for Montana, she is the best.

the breakfast quesadilla was great love that they offer chicken sausage substitute. the shrimp and grits is more like a gumbo it would be better if it wasn't so soupy. They should really offer the mimosas in a pitcher they are pricey and kind of small.

Drunch offers a good mix of adult beverages with incredibly delicious foods. Strong C19 procedures in place. While the place seems to suffer a bit from an identity crisis with regard to atmosphere like cartoons for the kids on every single TV, while you have breakfast and drinks... The food is really great and worth the visit.

We came here for breakfast/brunch on a Saturday morning. We came around 10 and there was no wait for 2, but by the time we left near 11, there were a few waiting for seats outside. I ordered a crab cake Benny and I am glad I did. I love the creole hollondaise sauce. Now I don't get out very often anymore, but this was my favorite breakfast in a long time. I would order this again. My wife ordered a mixed bowl with sausage gravy, cheese, and other things. She said it was good but not a must get if we ever get out again. Service decent and the atmosphere was nice.

The food was absolutely amazing. The wait for my food was outrageous but man was it worth the wait. The mimosas were good, a bit over priced but good. I will be back!!!! Kiss the chef 😘!

There's a lot to say about this place, but it isn't really nice stuff, unfortunately. I don't quite know what people mean when they say this place has "good food". I got the Breakfast Bowl and it was an awful experience. It had potatoes, eggs, onion, all in a bowl, mixed with gravy. The kicker is that they put cheese on top - COLD cheese. Not only was the food like a bowl of slop, but the cold cheese was the worst part. Instantly -5 stars. My wife didn't finish her waffle because it was so spongy we definitely know it came straight from the microwave. This place should not be proud of the food they serve. They should be rethinking how to delight the customer with handcrafted and carefully made dishes, not what seems to be put together by someone living in their mom's basement. To summarize: - Poor food quality - WAY overpriced for what they are serving - 18% gratuity mandatory (not a huge issue, but it hits you in the gut when the food costs so much and is bad) - You may not feel well after the food, like we did, because of the low quality of food. We wish we had time to go into Fox in the Snow Cafe. It definitely looks like it would be worth the wait vs going here.

The staff were nice and friendly. Food was really good! I’d definitely come here again for brunch! However their menus do not have photos of the food to give a good visual. You’ll have to go to their instagram to see. —Also it’s a bit loud, not my ideal atmosphere and could’ve been a bit cleaner. Bathroom stalls are SUPER tiny height wise.. Other than that it was a nice experience I guess.

The staff was super friendly and helpful, waitress was nice enough to tell us what was usual favourites. The portions were plentiful and most of it was good. Unfortunately the loaded potatoes was served in a skillet that had a strong odor, like rancid or old oil, and my wife couldn't eat her breakfast do to the smell.

Very unique styled restaurant. Loved the wittily named meals. I ordered the Brezel meal and it was scrumptious. Very friendly staff. Also they are still very much pandemic aware, which means they ran the restaurant in a way that minimize exposure risk.

  • 4/5 Shan G. 2 years ago on Google
Delicious and fun food. It was a cool space. Mimosas were well made. They were pandemic aware-offering sanitizer when we walked in, had a thermometer ready to check temperatures and masks required when walking around. Overall, a little pricey for some of the dishes. It appeared some dishes were a bit more generous but the breakfast bowl and biscuits and gravy were on the smaller side. Super friendly staff and fun experience.
