Went here for the first time and omg yummmm. The place is super busy but well worth worth it. I tried the Mohawk Sandwich and smoked potato salad, both were fantastic! I do recommend ordering your food ahead of time, picking up and eating elsewhere.

My first time here. Ordered a vegetarian caprese wrap. Same price as a turkey caprese wrap but without the turkey. However, they don't give you more mozzarella cheese in place of the turkey. Instead, they give you more spinach. Paid $13 for this spinach sandwich. Very disappointed.

I would suggest to come hungry when picking up food from this place. Massive sandwich portion IMO. Sides were fresh but limited selection on dessert options. Would return!

Adorable little place! Its a bit different when ordering since you don’t view the menu at the counter where you order… it’s on the side on a large chalk board. As I sat there eating, I watched 4 people be directed to the menu when they asked about it as I did. I ordered “the village addiction” on gluten free bread. It was sooooo good!! The turkey is paired with creamy havardi cheese and their homemade cranberry mayo! The bread it toasted making it easy to pick up and devour. As a side I got the Broccoli salad which was nicely made as well. Parking was challenging as it is street parking only. But it was well worth the 2 block walk!

This sandwich was spectacular. We beat the rush but there was a line out the door by the time we were leaving and for good reason. I got the #2 on sourdough and wow I can’t wait to go back.

Turkey club with no turkey and a Cuban with so much mustard that mustard is the only thing you can taste of you can get through your eyes watering from it. I should've known when they post a picture of a burnt sandwich on their own website.

Cute little sandwich shop. Had hot pastrami and swiss on rye (perfectly toasted) and wife had cuban with soup of the day tomato basil (chunky, good balanced flavor) Excellent! Highly recommend.

Delicious juicy watermelon salad. The mint and the lime absorbed perfectly. Caprese was good, heavy on the mozzarella side. It’s a busy place so seating was a lil rough. Ideally we wanted a table outside but fist coke first serve in competition with the jeni’s next door. Love to see local places carrying my favorite Boylon Soda as well!

Great spot for a sandwich and deli sides. Amazing selection of drinks, classic deli sides, and chips. The soups rotate and are always unique. There’s a sandwich on the menu for everyone.

Wide variety of high quality ingredients to build your own masterpiece. Or choose on of the dozen or so they build. It will be my new lunch spot on my trips!

I have had every sandwich on the menu and you cannot go wrong. Everything is fresh & delicious. We live in the neighborhood and will continue to enjoy lunch at Brown Bag on a regular basis. It's a great choice to grab a sandwich and head over to Shiller Park and eat there!

I totally get where they were going with my $11.50 sandwich, as the meat, veg and additional toppings were good. That being said, the sammy was small, and the bread was the most abundant part. I dropped almost $50 with tip and all for a family of three.

One of the best lunch spots in town! I recommend the black and bleu sandwich and any soup. If you're in a hurry, order online! Otherwise it's great for a leisurely lunch in a beautiful neighborhood with good service.

I always look for "off the beaten path" unique to the area restaurants, and this place did not disappoint! I ordered the #8 Spice of Life sandwich and was thoroughly satisfied with my sandwich. I will definitely recommend this place to all my family, friends and coworkers, and the next time I am in the area I look forward to trying something new off of the menu! The picture I took of my sandwich doesn't even come close to doing it justice! Keep up the delicious work!

I ordered this sandwich and was not happy, the sandwich was made for a commercial or just for show because I literally couldn't bite/eat my sandwich!! It was so frustrating, I tried to cut the half in half and it was still an absolute mess!! When I attempted to take a bite, all the stuff came out the back, I was just over it! I am at work on lunch and now I regret my decision, maybe change the bread or less meat, it was too much to deal with and the sandwich was really dry.

Our Daughter recommended, The Brown Bag. It was delicious!! We choose three sides and spit the Club sandwich. The Club was a large sandwich. Staff was friendly and polite.

Great little deli in a quiet neighborhood. Food is fantastic. We got a whole dill pickle with each order! If you are anywhere near, this is a great choice for a fabulous sandwich!

Wonderful sandwich (The Mohawk Stroller) and soup (potato and ham)!

I really like the flavor of the sandwich, but this style of sandwich is more on the wet side so it's kinda messy to eat. I was also disappointed that they forgot the chips with my order. I probably wouldn't go back since it seems pricey for what it is.

This is a very nice quaint place to grab a sandwich, side, & drink to enjoy. The sandwich was heated & the flavor was pleasant to the taste. They have a rewards card to earn a free sandwich. Definitely recommend you to go & eat here.

2nd day in a row my partner and I ate lunch here. Killer sandwich’s! Awesome sides! Awesome dessert!

We decided to stop here for lunch today after our original destination was closed, and I'm honestly so happy for the divine intervention. These are some of the best sandwiches I've had since moving to Columbus, and I'm excited to try even more menu items. The salads sounded really tasty, too, and we had some of the BEST chocolate cake I may have ever had in my entire life. I know that sounds hyperbolic, but when my husband took a bite his eyes went all big like a cartoon character. Considering this was a weekday, I can imagine it would be pretty busy on a weekend, so it might be better to get it to go as seating is a bit limited - but that seems to be par for the course in German Village. Tldr; can't wait to come back.

It was okay. Molly's Favorite had way too much turkey and not enough toppings. The heat didn't do much for the lettuce. Not much flavor, everything just kind of blended together. Just an FYI, the Covid-19 precautions posted are no longer being followed. Employees do not mask. I can't speak for the other precautions they've posted. Kind of wild since Columbus is at Code Red for the Delta variant and infections.

All of the sandwiches we have tried are delicious and the smokey potato salad is the best I've ever had. Only issue is with consistency, which is a huge bummer especially considering how pricey it is. More times than not they have forgotten something in our order (missing deli side, no bacon on club sandwich, no mayo that we were charged extra for). Last 2 times the jalapeño popper sandwich has been subpar with very little filling and the deli sides only 1/2 or 3/4 filled. Love this place and live close by but hard to justify coming frequently with the price and inconsistencies. Still would recommend to anyone to try and love that they give punch cards for a free sandwich :)

It seems less like a good deli and more like a Panera. The Reuben was decent but nothing special. A bit of a long wait as well. It's pretty decent, but that's about it.

Yelp search for a salad place straight from Airport. Tried to go to their now CLOSED location in North Short location. And was bummed. So I trekked it all the way across town to German Village to eat here. It didn’t disappoint. One of the tastiest sandwich’s I’ve ever eaten. I had Molly’s Favorite. But honestly it was hard to decide what to order. Everything sounds amazing. Free pickle to boot. Great place. Highly recommend.

I personally love this place, it's in such an atmospheric location and the sandwiches are so good!! I got the jalapeño popper sandwich and it was so tasty. It came with the cutest pickle on the side:) It's more of a lunch date spot in my opinion, just a little pricey. I will definitely be back:)

We arrived into town late on a Friday afternoon and were really hungry. So we walked just a few doors down from our Airbnb and found the Brown Bag Deli. WOW. I had the club sandwich and my husband had the Cuban. Both sandwiches were huge and every bite was so delicious. We highly recommend this place!

A large group of us visited this place. The wait wasn't bad and they were very busy too. They got the good out pretty quickly. I had the #1 on 10 sandwich and spicy pasta salad. Both were great and filling.

Great place for lunch. A lot of food for a great price. Line was out the door but for good reason. The sandwiches were amazing and came out fast. The hardest part was deciding which sandwich to get. A ton of options. Also, they can do any sandwich on GF bread.

This place perhaps has the best deli sandwiches in columbus but that's up for debate. Their salads and soups are amazing as well. A bit on the pricier end but still worth every penny. With a great park in walking distance it's hard not to recomend this place.

Delicious sandwiches! Limited outdoor seating available. Takeout available. Be prepared, they are a little on the pricier side, but the amount of sandwich you get is generally worth it. Also a little tip, look at the side items in the keeper at the front before you order. Not all the sides are listed on the chalkboard menus.

Very fresh and very delicious. I had the club and the house made herb mayonnaise was so refreshing and flavorful. They load you up with meat so you get your money worth and the bread is toasted to perfection. Nice seating outside to enjoy on a nice day.

Amazing sandwiches and location! Partner and I got the Spice of Life and the Village Addiction. Both were fantastic and the food came out pretty quick despite a small line. Last time we were here around lunch time the line was out the door so we skipped, but going at 4pm was quick. Highly recommend if you’re in the German Village area. Get a sandwich and go sit at Schiller Park!
