I enjoyed the food and beverages but the model leaves a bit to be desired. All purchases must be made through a cumbersome checkout line that is typically lengthy before you enter the restaurants seating area. You place your order and it is delivered to you after you seat yourself. There is no service to add additional items should you choose to do so later. I imagine this loses the restaurant potential upsells that are likely to come after the initial purchase is received. The place has a lot of potential with good food and drinks but absent service, the price is a bit high than one would expect for breakfast. (A side of potatoes and a drink was approx $16) Venue is beautifully furnished with different seating options and views.

First time visiting and was very impressed. Will definitely be a place I'll revisit and suggest to others. Everyone enjoyed their meals. My mimosa seemed to have freshly squeezed orange juice in it. That was a first. Good food, good service and a very nice restaurant. Might try something different next time. We shall see..

Breakfast at North Star is always a treat, I got the Sunrise Burrito Scrambled Ohio organic eggs, cheddar, crispy hash browns, roasted veggies, and organic black beans. I also tried the pancakes with a side of breakfast potatoes. All were amazing! And the food was phenomenal. The service was pretty good, nice little place to get breakfast and just enjoy time for yourself.

This was my first time at this location but I’ve enjoyed North Star many times in the past. The food is reliably good, tasty and I generally think the homemade ginger ale is the best I’ve had. This location has a nice layout and vibe- plenty of tables, a nice outdoor area to eat and we got our usual order- the chicken sandwich and the burger both cooked great. The prices have been creeping up lately, and along with tip and a drink etc it no longer falls into the mid range price for dinner.

Northstar Cafe at Easton Town Center in Columbus Ohio is a great place to eat and has okay accessibility for anyone with a disability. There are wheelchair accessible parking spaces within the parking lot right next to the restaurant, and a wheelchair accessible ramp and entrance to get into the cafe and sidewalks are all pretty Level and wide around the cafe to enter. Once inside the restaurant, there are 2 levels of the restaurant with seating on each, but the upper level is not accessible to anyone in a wheelchair as the only way to get up is by stairs. The cafe has roomie access inside for anyone in a wheelchair to get around and find seating, but there are lots of tables and chairs that may make maneuvering through the restaurant more difficult. There are individual menus to the right wall when you enter, but no brail for anyone that may be blind and cannot read the menu. Waiters also give you a number after you order that you set at your table, and food is brought to you so anyone that may not be able to hear well does not have to worry about hearing their name called to pickup their food. Fountain drinks are located conveniently on a lower table with cups for easy access for anyone to reach as well, but could be lowered more for even better access. There is also an outdoor seating area that can be accessed easily. Overall, there are lots of varieties of foods and diet options here to accommodate everyone. Northstar is overall accessible to many to eat at, but there could be more accommodations put in place to make it accessible to other disabilities.

Interesting Menu, Good Food: We met several family members at Northstar for brunch. Other than waiting in line to order, we enjoyed the experience. You order at the cash register before you find a table. The menu is a little different, so this made the ordering process a bit slow. People were having the types of conversations they would typically have with a waitress. They asked about menu items, decided what they wanted, paid, and then found a table. The waitresses brought the food to the table fairly quickly. I liked the food, the atmosphere, and my fabulous, oversized chocolate cookie.

We love the food here. Always a long wait but usually worth it. Mushroom frittata was amazing. The oatmeal was delicious!

quick dinner at Northstar Cafe in Columbus ( they are coming to Cleveland ). Somewhat healthy and very fresh. Smoothie Bowl was unique with Blueberries, cashews, housemade sunflower almond granola and toasted organic coconut ( I didn’t taste cashews) also got their “Northstar Burger” …a not-so ( no meat)Just made with organic black beans, brown rice and beets, topped with white cheddar, kale, tomato, pickle and onion + simple salad. I didn’t eat it but I heard it was good and their classic cheeseburger - Niman Ranch brisket and chuck, ground in-house daily, topped with cheddar, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle + french fries & rosemary aioli. good but the patty crumbled easily. finally a non-alcoholic Orange Dream Soda. tasty quasi-healthy. looking forward to this place being closer to home. I had breakfast here back in May. amazing biscuits and gravy. — at Northstar.

Delicious Pad Thai bowl! Service was excellent for a lunch with limited time. Friendly staff for my first time and explained how and where to go. The bathrooms were small and down a long hallway but very clean.

One of the best Sunrise burrito I’ve ever had!!! Burrito was filling and good size that included -> scrambled organic eggs, cheddar, crispy hash browns, roasted veggies and organic black beans. Great atmosphere, great location and great customer service.

Dined in for breakfast with my sister. Quick, friendly service. I had the country breakfast with over medium eggs, bacon and added sausage gravy. Everything was good and fresh. The biscuit was sweeter than expected. The strawberry preserves were delicious. The sausage gravy was ok I wouldn't necessarily get it again. For the price point though it wasn't impressive. My sister ordered the cloud 9 pancakes with a side of scrambled eggs and bacon. I tasted the pancakes they were nice and fluffy. I would recommend them. We both ordered the shooting star as our drink. It was fresh and delicious. It tasted just like the homemade carrot and orange juice I make. Also grabbed a couple of cookies that were baked the previous day, so they were only $1. One peanut butter and one double chocolate the peanut butter was okay. It didn't have enough peanut butter flavor and there were too many salted nuts on top from my preference. The chocolate was delicious, rich but great. We spent a total of $80, which is crazy for breakfast to me... especially when it isn't a traditional full service restaurant. So plan accordingly. It was a good experience overall. I'd like to return to try lunch.

I’d give this place 10 stars if I could. Customer service is top notch and the food is delicious. The ambiance was calm and very enjoyable. Fresh ingredients in all dishes we’ve had here so far. Love it!

Breakfast with the family. Started with the shooting 🌠 star and it was refreshing. Orange, Carrot juices with ginger. Could not taste the ginger. Deluxe Egg Sandwich. The crispy cibatta and fluffy egg was a good combo.

I am a vegetarian and not too fond of American/junk food. But this is the best veggie burger I have ever eaten. Would definitely recommend to try it, if you are in the area. You wouldn't regret it.

Great place to eat healthier fare. You order at the front, find your own seat, and they bring you your food. Grat patio, occasionally they have live music. They also have a bar. A bit pricy and portions seem smaller then previously.

On a warm march day, we decided to eat outside. The Chicken and Avocado Sandwich beckoned both of our fancy, and we are happy we got it. Delicious to the last bite, and the rice mix is so refreshing. We also got a strawberry smoothie, which was a nice touch of sweet to end the meal. Next time we are in we will be back :)

This restaurant has a really nice and relaxing atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I wasn’t too impressed by the food. I ordered the Chicken and Avocado Sandwich ($18). It tasted like avocado and peppers on bread . I also tried the Iced Vanilla Coffee Crush($6) and it taste like pure syrup. The Chocolate Chip Cookie($4) was pretty good though! I think if I come back I will just come for drinks at the bar to enjoy the ambiance.

Good food, busy place all day. I am not a huge fan of the concept of order, pay and tip, find a seat, wait for someone to bring out the food. Our food came out separately, and you get your own drinks. So it's like fast food service. Pad Thai had good flavor, and the Buddha bowl was a nice presentation. Update, I like the bar area. Maslyn and Tonya were awesome servers. Burger is an absolute must try.

Ive had their burgers before, which are very yummy. But a friend said “lets do breakfast here”. I was like “they have breakfast?!” They sure do!! I had the mushroom frittata, which was exquisite! And the fresh squeezed OJ was the perfect touch. My friend had the breakfast hash, as shes gluten free and dairy free. And she loved every bite. The outside patio was perfect in the morning. Highly recommend.

First time visiting Northstar Cafe and it was quite a busy Sunday afternoon. I arrived around 1 pm and had to wait in a small line outside (10-15ish people ahead of me). Thankfully there are menus inside the vestibule so you can review what you want to order ahead of time. I ordered the Simple Salad ($7) and the biscuit with strawberry preserves ($4). 🥗🍓 My friend and I were able to find a table right away and we waited maybe 15-20 minutes for our food to arrive. My first impression was that the cafe itself is a bit warm. It was about 85-90° outside so maybe the doors constantly being opened and closed effected the temperature but it was almost uncomfortable. Other than that, the layout was decent and there is an upstairs seating area that probably has a good view (and it probably is also a very hot place to sit lol 🔥🥵). My food was pretty good and I liked the strawberry preserves! I only got water to drink but I glanced at the cocktail menu and the drinks looked fun and summery (also a bit pricey - $10 per drink). Overall, I enjoyed my experience and would like to visit again on a less busy, hot day. 😊

I like this place for last minute brunch. No reservations needed. Order at the register and take a number and wait for food to be delivered to the table. Quick service. Food was so good. I ordered the burrito, added bacon. This entree is one of my favorites in town. Yum 😋

Northstar tends to have a long line on the weekends but when you get your food and experience their service you see why. Plenty of healthy options but also all the baked goods and cocktails for dinner or brunch.

I'm very disappointed in the current management. I was always used to getting consistent food, taste, and quality. I complained that my rice was somehow tasteless and old. All she offered was another side of rice. I said, "Wouldn't it be the same batch?" She smirked and said, "I guess so." But she didn't offer anything else. She just walked away. I didn't even tell her about the chicken sandwich. It was dry and cold. Also, we had ordered a side salad and side of dip, and both came after the main coarse, oddly enough. So whatever was happening last night should be reviewed by management. I couldn't be the only dissatisfied customer.

My kiddos and I are here on our way back home to Cleveland. We had Biscuits and gravy, ricotta pancakes, and mushroom frittata and every bite was delicious. It’s cafe style, so you order at the register and then seat yourself while your order is prepared. A bit pricey for breakfast, but delicious food

Everyone of the north star café restaurants are incredible… This one, tops them all. The location is great with nearby free parking and there is plenty of outdoor seating and indoor seating, combined. The wait staff are very helpful and the service was fast!

Service not good if sitting at bar. You have to ask them for everything and never once get acknowledgement with a thank you for coming - as if you are not even there??? Food was good. My last time for sure, too many other great places nearby that appreciate the customers.

I was in Easton for about a month for work, and ate here almost every night! Such a relaxing environment with live jazz every night. Highly recommend

I haven't been here in about 7 years. They revamped the menu and the dish I used to get, The Buddha Bowl, and it it still very tasty! I am a bit upset they no longer accept cash though as it should be more clearly posted upon entry. (That's really all I had to pay with and had to scramble at the counter). We all know how embarrassing that can be especially when we live in the USA and I had American currency. :/ Lost a star for that. This is also a pricey place, but great quality food IMO.

For $30, food presentation and quality is very important. My fries were slight. As a frequent customer I’ve never received my food poorly packaged. Do better NorthStar!

Been to this place in Sunday for brunch. Was hoping for more options! We ordered pancakes, egg sandwich and veggie burger. The veggie burger was extremely dry.. pancakes and egg sandwich was good. Ambiance I must say it was lively and lovely ! Would love to try their dinner menu some day for sure ! I also got the freshly baked praline Scone and yes it was delicious! Overall experience was good 😊

This was our first visit to this location. Once again we received great service, and the food was amazing. I love the orange juice, it is out of this world. The coffee selection is always tasty as well. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Amazing biscuits and gravy. The coffee was getting a bit bitter in those self serve containers though. And definitely expect to spend ~20 per person on breakfast.

Good food! Service was quick even with the wait. The biscuits and gravy is my normal go-to, although it tasted a little off today. I hope they didn't change the recipe. Normally a 5 star rating, they got a 4 today.

Popped in here for a quick anniversary dinner, and the chicken avocado sandwich never disappoints! Raisin oatmeal cookie is off the charts. Delicious!

If you are trying to get away from the traditional restaurants and looking to have some good food this is your place. They have some good selection of live music, playing some good jazz tunes while eating some good salads or if you prefer their Northstar burger is a great selection as well. Oh before I forget... The carrot juice (not pictured) very refreshing.
