I came to google in search of great pasta, and found this gem! The restaurant is absolutely delightful. It is a nice intimate setting. Perfect for a date, or family dinner. The staff is so sweet and attentive! I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp and my mom ordered a salad with soup! The bread brought out before the meal was impeccable and the food….omg…. The best pasta I’ve ever had at a restaurant! The portion size was perfect (not too big, not to small) . The soup was delicious and so was the salad! I also got a cannoli and it was the best cannoli I’ve ever had. The owner was also so nice and came by the table to check on us. There aren’t many restaurants left like this! I felt welcomed, appreciate and full of great food . The atmosphere, the employees, the food and the owner really make this an amazing dining experience.I can’t believe I’ve lived in Gahanna and never had this amazing place? I will most certainly be back.

My wife and I wanted Italian as we celebrated our wedding anniversary today. We decided on this restaurant and we are very glad we did! The food was delicious! I got the sampler plate, plenty of food. It was even better later that night. Our server and the whole staff was super friendly, we’ll be back for sure!

Best tiramisu in Columbus! The lasagna is very meaty and their alfredo sauce on top is a nice touch (Tuscan style). It's extra creamy and very flavorful. The prices are great and service is quick and they make you feel like family!!

This is the best Italian restaurant I have been to in Columbus. Absolutely amazing food. Hands down best eggplant parm I’ve ever had. Homemade pasta, delicious sauces. Loved the garlic bread to start. Walking into the the small little restaurant with loads of character, you immediately smell the amazing food cooking away! It is a family owned restaurant with the family members working there. I love this place and will always tell my friends to go here if they are looking for a low key, but high quality Italian dining experience.

Excellent food, the best portion sizes and I can not say enough about the service. I highly recommend eating here and make certain to have a reservation. The portions were very generous and flavor profiles were spot on. There was no skimping in the food preparation. We will certainly return.

Fantastic family owned Italian restaurant. Make sure you get reservations. Tiny inside but food was very good. Had the chicken marsala, slightly sweet with mushrooms and panchetta. Clams with white wine also good. And the table gets garlic bread. The bread pudding is one of the best I've ever had and get the whiskey sauce, not the Carmel, very soft and custardy.

First time to eat here, as we have heard great things about it from others and came highly recommended. It definitely did not disappoint. Atmosphere was great. Indoor is like sitting in a living room, quaint and comfortable, and also has an outdoor patio. Menu was filled with classics. Not overly extensive, but everything well done and still a lot of variety to choose from. For first-timers like ourselves, we started with the bruschetta and Caprese salad and then progressed to the Giuseppe's sampler. I had mine with the eggplant, while my wife opted for the chicken instead. Both were outstanding and a great way to try several things at the same time. Portions were very generous. We truly could have split ours, to be honest, but we're glad that we had a ton to bring home. We also had the cannolis for dessert, which were phenomenal, and topped it all off with homemade limoncello, crafted by Nick, the owner's son. Really fantastic recipe and reminded me of Limoncello we had in Italy that was also a family recipe. Wine list was not extensive but had plenty of options at multiple price points. We enjoyed the valpolicella. Service was outstanding. Prompt, courteous, and always checked in on us to be sure that we had everything we needed and were enjoying everything. The owner himself also dropped by the table a couple of times. Very friendly. All In all, this was a great experience in lived up to the hype. The couple that we went with have Italian roots and Heritage and loved it, as well. Would definitely come back.

I happened to stumble upon this restaurant while doing a Google search for Italian restaurants in the Columbus area. I saw that it had really good ratings and wanted to check it out for myself. I went here with my dad, husband, and our 2 year old. The service was top notch and the food was fabulous! We thoroughly enjoyed our entire experience. They even helped to accommodate my daughter's egg allergy, which is difficult with homemade noodles, but they offered a few options and it turned out great. We hope to visit again when we come back to the area!

Made a reservation for the same day and so glad we tried this little place! Our server, Emily, was helpful and had great recommendations as we’d never been here before. I had the eggplant parm which was done perfectly - eggplant wasn’t bitter or tough and the breading was super crunchy and not over cooked at all. Our party also got chicken parm, chicken Marsala and spaghetti with meatballs. We all agreed that our food was delicious. Desserts were really good as well - tiramisu was close to the best I’ve had. Will be back to this cozy little gem for sure!

Really good food. Great service. At a decent price from a small business. What is not to like? Tiny dinning room so make reservations early. I think they only do dine in by reservation. Wife and I enjoy a delicious meal while celebrating our anniversary. We really appreciated feeling like the meal we got was worth the money we spent!

Service was excellent. Small restaurant with limited seating but overall a great experience. Had the chefs special...was told they were out of the scallops but chef Anthony made a special accommodation for me. Portions could have been a little larger but was a good meal otherwise. The other dish is the eggplant parmesan. Was very good.

We sat on the patio which was nice. I got the onion soup which was decadent. The shrimp & lobster ravioli was also fantastic. I don’t normally go for ravioli but the server recommended it so I said why not? Well I will be dreaming about it and will absolutely order it again! Can’t wait to be back. Very happy I found this casual restaurant for Italian comfort food in Columbus.

Visiting from out of state, came across this on google reviews…SO glad we tried it! Wonderful family dinner starting off with garlic bread and spinach and artichoke dip that was AMAZING followed by sampler platter and Tuscan salad with my daughter having the gnocchi. Wines were wonderful as well. They have a sign “come in as strangers, leave as friends!” We 100% agree with this and wish we lived closer…our family would be regular customers for sure!!!! Thank you for a fantastic final night in Columbus, Ohio!!!

Absolutely the best Italian food I have ever had. Highly HIGHLY recommend. They constantly refilled our drinks. Friendly staff. Manager came out and checked on us and talked. Will definitely be back.

Easily our favorite Columbus-based Italian restaurant. We never leave disappointed and have made it a point to take out-of-town guests here to make sure they're able to experience Lola & Giuseppe's as well. Everything has always been delicious and the service is top notch.

Great southern Italian food with a terrific red sauce and wonderful old world dishes like lasagna, chicken parmesan, gnocchi, etc. The scilian onion soup in a savory surprise that is so unusual and yummy at the same time. Meals come with fresh garlic bread which is an added treat. If you haven't been, you are missing out.

We were traveling for work and came across this wonderful place! It's amazing, the service and the food are above and beyond. They make you feel like family! You do not get this experience at big chain. Support local and keep our world full of these amazing gems! Thank you for an excellent evening of kindness and great food. The mandala was perfect, the seafood scampi delicious and the bruschetta a must have!

I have a weakness for mom and pop restaurants. This place was fantastic. Reservations (available on their website) highly recommended. We have traveled the US and this is one of the top 2 best Italian restaurants we have ever eaten in. We enjoyed a variety of items from the menu each created from a long standing family recipe, served and presented with authentic Italian style. The service atmosphere and quality of food make this place a truly hidden gem. (It only has 12 tables!!!!). It offered a robust menu, excellent selection of wines and alcohol all served with tradition and love. We enjoyed the caprese salad, chicken marsala, and the sampler plate which has spaghetti and meatball (the best I have had from a restaurant 🔥🔥🔥) , lasagna, and chicken parm. After our meal, We pent some time speaking with the owner, Steve and the chef learning their story and tradition of their family in this business. All I can say is go here!!!

I have never, and I mean never, been this impressed with a restaurant. My friend and I went in without knowing it was pretty much reservation only. They took our orders and were incredibly kind. We waited for maybe, MAYBE, 15 minutes and it was done. I got the chicken marsala with fettuccini and my friend got the eggplant parm. We also got the fritta antipasta. Everything was divine and sincerely amazing. My chicken fell apart and was so moist while the breading on the eggplant was so flavorful. We finished with the pumpkin cheesecake and it was just amazing. Words cannot describe how great this place was and I highly recommend!

Our first trip to Lola & Giuseppe's only left me wondering what took us so long to get here??! There are things that will turn people away but that would be a mistake on their part. Reservations are required due to limited space and their hours are fairly limited. Once you've had a chance to try them though, you understand why. We went on a Thursday evening. We had a party of 9 which required us to set a reservation by phone which was done without a hassle and our table was ready upon arrival. The quarters look more cramped than what they are, and the food and service were so good that we barely noticed it by the time the evening was complete. The house made Limoncello was divine and the Pasta Fritto was an excellent starter. My wife and I split the shrimp and lobster ravioli and an order of Giuseppe's Sampler with Chicken substituted for eggplant on the Parmesan and they were all fantastic. My favorite was the Chicken Parm, best I've ever had! We wrapped up the evening with carrot cake which was also delicious. Shout out to Gina for making our night wonderful with great service and to Giuseppe and the crew for a wonderful meal, we will definitely be back soon!

This was our first time here…came highly recommended from a couple friends. Absolutely delicious. Will definitely return. Make reservations because they do get busy and it’s a small place. We had bruschetta, wedding soup, salad, mushroom ravioli, sampler platter, carrot cake and pumpkin cheesecake. All of it was wonderful. My entree-the mushroom ravioli was amazing, lots of flavor-stuffed with mushrooms, topped with artichokes and red peppers, pesto sauce on a bed of marinara. Wow.

One of my top 2 Italian places in the Columbus area. We had the spinach artichoke dip, then I got the lasagna - which was really good, although inconsistently heated, spots were lukewarm. Pro tip: have them set aside dessert for you. They ran out of chocolate chip cheesecake- but I got to say the double chocolate cheesecake was amazing. I always take home a eggplant parm for my hubby- which he loves. It is a small place, with a very friendly staff. Reservations highly recommended. On a busy night they would be required.

This is a small venue, but you will receive great service and delicious food! I went with the sampler basically because I'm greedy. I was well rewarded. The meatball was large, tender, and well-cooked. The sauces were thick and amazing. I packed half of my dinner as I wanted to indulge in the raspberry chocolate cheesecake. Oh, it left me to make noises I was unaware of, it was so good!!! Make your reservations asap. Ideal for 2-4 folks from what I could see, but they can make larger groups work with enough notice.

After talking about date night ideas for me and my wife, a coworker recommended this place to me. So I texted the number provided and made a same day reservation. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience here, definitely one of the more memorable date nights we've had. The environment is very personal and at-home feeling. Very small, which can be off-putting for some, but can be enhancing for others. We shared pleasant conversations with other diners, waitresses and managers alike; making the night much more enjoyable. Though they were out of some food and drink options, the items we got were still delicious. I do look forward to coming back again to try more that Lola and Giuseppe has to offer. Mainly looking at the Lasagna, where I heard only positive things about. Making early reservations is recommended.

Not only is the food delicious, but the customer service is AMAZING! Truly. I called since I am traveling alone on this one and they had a table waiting for me. It was all uphill from there. You won't be disappointed. This is my first time in Ohio, so obviously it is my first time in this restaurant. I hope I get to come back!

This place is incredible. Amazing eggplant parm and bechamel lasagna. The lemon cheesecake is one of the best desserts I've ever had. We got a salad, 2 entrees, 3 desserts, and 2 drinks and the total was under $80.
