I don't know how people exaggerate reviews so much but Firdous is arguably your best option in North Market. The owners are very friendly and accommodating to special requests and their food is pretty tasty for fast food. The staff and service is underwhelming unless you talk directly to someone who cares like the owners. Decent value, decent food. Good bet overall.

Firdous Express is my favorite place in North Market. The staff are always so kind and welcoming and at this point they remember me lol. Everything you get from here is not only fresh but delicious! They let me get half of 2 of the different chicken dishes and I always go for the saffron rice and double salad 😋 Great choice, would highly recommend!

Decent place in the market. The falafel was OK, it was not fresh and the bread was not warmed up. They also charged extra for Hummus that should of been included with the sandwich. Was missing some flavor, but all in all decent. The Syrian Spicy Red Rice was very good.

Good place to come when you just want something. When you're downtown. You want something different? Real quick bite? It's okay. Not memorable but it's okay

As a Middle eastern and food tester , let me describe my experiences : I ordered over Uber Eat, was fast to prepare which is surprised me as the Shawarma sandwich need some attention in about 10 min at least , any way the driver was fast and careful so : The Beef Shawarma is only Gyro with lettuce , onion, 2 tiny pieces of cucumber and banana pepper which i find in the end of the sandwich , no flavor or shawarma , so please remove that "Shawarma" from your menu and keep it as Gyro! some respect to our traditions is appreciated ! the pita is the smallest one I ever seen in pita sandwiches ! you need to follow the roles of at least 30cm length with better distribution of items inside the pita The Saffron Rice : is a Turmeric Rice with chicken broth , that was not Saffron at all! but was a good amount for small size! The 3 appetizers : coming as a spoon of hummus with no flavor AT ALL, a spoon of Babaghanoush test so bad , a spoon of unknown thing test like paper! the picture explain the mess in the plate! this is horrible for 9$ ! and 1 tiny tiny pita bread? really? 5 of that breads is for a 1.25$ come on ! also I appreciate the tensile but a fork to eat rice? not make any sense sorry! I had to use an old spoon from chipotle! all over I enjoyed the rice only , even so I'm not a big fan of rice! not worth the money ! the only good experience was the driver as she was so efficient and fast and the Veggies was fresh! you need to review the package way , wings stop have better package you can take a look at it I'll order other items in the future probably and edit my review based on that.

Everything in the shawarma combo tasted great, authentic Mediterranean rice, gyro with garlic sauce and amazing hummus.

Firdous Express has a convenient location near the exit to the parking lot at North Market, and it's exotic smells greet you at the door. They have a variety of Greek and Middle Eastern dishes and desserts. On our last trip we purchased two of each of their desserts to bring home as gifts for people; they were super excited to try them. The staff was courteous enough to packaged them well, knowing that we had a several hour drive ahead of us. The quality of the food, the price-point, and location made it an easy decision to shop here.

Friendly service. Chicken Shawarma sandwich very bland. Shredded chicken unlike any shawarma I have had. Extra charge for sauce that should come with it

The food wasn't great. The chicken shwarma was overcooked, and tasted like it was just boiled chicken with sauce. The portion you get is small for the price. And the price on their menu does not even match the price they charge you, which is aggravating. This place was disappointing because I usually love Greek food.

This is the most unbelievable food I've had in my life. It was my first time so I wasn't familiar with the prices and items so I just picked whatever looked good. It came out to 20 dollars. Whatever I got was cooked really well and tasted like something you'd find at the most expensive restaurant. One of the things I got was a honey mustard tasting chicken. It was so delicious. The food here is incredibly filling and hearty. I don't even think I could eat the rest of the day after getting something from here. The only thing I didn't like was the nan/pita bread they gave. It was awful.

Falafel reheated from box mix, at least the salad was fresh. The pita, was trash but the hummus as water based as it was, was at least smooth. There is so much better in the city, spend your money elsewhere.

Ate here twice in a week, it’s great! The low carb salad with gyro meet is killer

It was good but there is scope for impeachment! But I wish the kebabs were smaller and the spicy rice was fully cooked. The kebabs were huge but somewhat dry. And the spicy rice was only 75% cooked. The staff were very friendly, but I suggest that they label all the items on display and modify their menu to reflect what’s on display.

For $7 I got lettuce with one piece of tomato and one piece of cucumber. When I asked for more toppings I was told that would be extra. Considering you were displaying a salad with abundant toppings, this is a real misrepresentation. Disappointing!
