Nice big coffee shop and book store combined. You may enjoy your hot drink/s and some nice appetizing food while enjoying a good book. Free parking out front and in the side of the building. An author or two may make a special appearance to promote existing and or upcoming works. The amazing Mahogany L. Browne pictured in this review. Nice and friendly staff. Decent prices. Good vibes with good people.

I Came here with my Wife after looking it up. I knew it was vegan and alternative with a progressive leaning vibe. I Had the French toast and “meat” lovers burrito- was fantastic. Peppermint latte was great too. Bought vegan cooking books I’m excited to try. Staff were courteous and friendly- literally amazing people. They have signage saying they are queer and immigrant friendly, and they definitely held true to their word. I have been seeing a lot of places turn out to be antisemitic with everything going on lately, especially vegan places that express progressive politics, but I felt very respected and appreciated here (wife and I are easily identified as Jews via our clothing and accessories). Just really good folks. So to the staff- thank you for making two big vegan Jews feel respected and welcomed on our anniversary weekend.

Great all-vegan place with a lot of options. The atmosphere and the service were amazing. The coffee options were great and I loved them. Tried the loaded tortugas, the food was alright. Overall a must-go. Highly recommended.

This has become our favorite vegan restaurant in Columbus. We went today for brunch and got the mile high burrito, very good and big ! Also tried the kimchi hoagie. Sticky and crunchy. Very good also. Don't leave without trying happy little feasts vegan buttery croissant. Good service. Nice ambiance. Is also a bookstore. Delicious

This place is dope. How in the world does it not earn 5 stars every time? It's books, coffee and vegan food that plays killer music. The building looks like an old hardware store from the 30's. Try and grab a table by the windows. WiFi is killer strength.

My wife and I both found this place surprisingly good. Her Asian tacos were excellent and a little lighter, my eggplant 'tortuga' was also delicious and a bit more filling as I'd hoped. Sometimes in a mixed atmosphere the food quality gets overlooked, but that was not the case here and our coffee was also quality. Engaging ambiance with the books and dining tables interspersed with each other as well. We will look for an excuse to come back.

Awaken your inner child at this community bookstore with so much to offer. Amazing food, delicious cocktails and excellent book recommendations for a wide variety of topics. I asked for non-binary fiction and received lovely recommendations from pleasant, helpful staff.

@Two Dollar Radio absolutely owns the Columbus Vegan scene. The Mile High Breakfast Burrito did not disappoint. Round it out with a mocha or a hazelnut latte and you're golden for the day!

Came for brunch and it didn't disappoint. We had the burrito and tartuga, both of which were interesting and excellent. Good amount of food for the money, and we also loved their house-made ketchup and hot sauce. Plus it just feels good to support a small business serving up great vegan food. Definitely coming back even though it's a 25 minute drive.

To any vegans out there, either living in OH or passing through Columbus: this is, as far as I've found, the best vegan destination in the US. Two Dollar Radio is down to earth, experienced, and unapologetic about making great food for a better world. Stop in and order anything or whatever the host suggests -- it's all great. While you're waiting for your food, browse the books that they publish in house. Definitely get the Two Dollar Radio cookbook, and then go back to the host and ask for their reading recommendations. Two Dollar Radio has taste, it has class, but it's not there to impose a superiority complex. It's there to be what every restaurant should be: a safe haven, a well of culture, and a place for great food.

I briefly visited Two Dollar Radio Headquarters last week [6-23-2022] while on my way to an open house at the new location of The Open Shelter [at 1037 Parsons Ave.] [about four blocks north of Two Dollar Radio Headquarters]. I have been familiar with Two Dollar Radio Headquarters -- without ever having been there -- because I edit the calendar in the Columbus Free Press and because I have included in that calendar, over the years, several different events at Two Dollar Radio Headquarters. It had been extremely interesting, during my visit last week, to see a bookstore, a performance and event space, a bar, and a vegan café all in the same space. I remember looking at "Google Maps" photographs before my recent visit there. Many of those photographs had shown food and drink and/or people eating and drinking so I had wondered at that time if those photographs had been of a previous business at that same location. Now that I have visited Two Dollar Radio Headquarters and have seen a bookstore and have seen people eating and drinking all in the same room, I am aware that all of those "Google Maps" photographs are of the same business. If you are looking for an independent bookstore that also offers food and drink, I strongly recommend Two Dollar Radio Headquarters. I now wonder why the word "Radio" appears in their name while they are clearly not a radio station.

Absolute best vegan food in town and on top of that they have an amazing selection of radical books. Great place to come and chill. Awesome nice staff. They even published their own books. Uh-oh, I better not blow up the spot!

I would live here if I could. I often bring my friend’s young daughter because she is vegan and loves the quesadilla. Last time overheard her saying her quesadilla was a little too crispy and they came back out with a softer one just for her. It was so cute. On top of that we can get books. They have a great selection and of course they are publishing their own as well. It’s all very cool.

A visit to Two Dollar Radio is an experience for all the senses. The staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The decor, fixtures and furniture are calming and comfortable. The drinks and food are outstanding. The books are diverse and intriguing. The music is just loud enough to provide ambience but not interrupt the atmosphere. We had an amazing time at Two Dollar Radio!

Great place! Tasty, satisfying plant based food (so often vegan food doesn't have enough flavor and is disappointing), great drinks, and fun book store. Look forward to visiting again.

Nice environment. Cool concept of books, coffee, and booze. Steep price of $7 for a non alcoholic drink.

Love the food, the employees, and the books here! We most recently ordered the tofu katsu sammy, one of their amazing weekly specials, and it was fantastic!

This is one of my favorite bookstores in Columbus as they always have such unique and offbeat books in all kinds of genres. It also feels great to directly support a local indie publisher. It's an added bonus that their food is sooo delicious and vegan. Not to mention that all of the employees I've interacted with have been super friendly and conversational. I 100% recommend this place for anyone looking for a bookstore in the area.

This place is a gem and somehow manages to offer such a variety of food, books, and events out of a relatively small location; impressive!

Absolutely amazing place! Very cozy, great place to curl up with coffee and a book. If you get hungry, they certainly have you covered. The vegan food is just awesome. You have to try this place!

This is my favorite restaurant in Columbus. Everything is vegan and reasonably priced. It's quiet and never too crowded. They seem make everything in house. Service is fantastic.

Two Dollar has amazing food and you’ll find the kindest people that work there. The books, food and kindness make this a gem in Columbus.

Wow! This place is a gem in central Ohio. A laid back vibe and the servers are nice and helpful. The chilaquiles are to die for...smoky with tofu, quinoa, potatoes. The house catsup is a hot sauce with the right amount of heat. This place is not to be missed!

Very good vegan and Mexican food. A lot of the menu items are very spicy though.

What a gift this publisher is to Columbus. Isn't it ironic that, in a country that has freedom of speech written into its Constitution, independent presses are so uncommon. I rejoice that this place of business is allowed to operate as freely as it is. And as a matter of fact I am thinking about the lunch I ate there the other day and as I think about it now I find that my salivary glands are secreting saliva. What an experience. What a delight. Also I have been enjoying the book I bought there that was also published there and not only for sale there. Talk about full service. What a gift this publisher is to Columbus.

Amazing vegan food, wonderful selection of indie-published books. Not to mention such a friendly staff! I recommend Two Dollar for vegans and non-vegans alike, and especially for those who are readers! This place is a huge asset to the neighborhood, and does a great job of being warm and welcoming to all.

Very inviting atmosphere. The employees were super friendly and helpful. The book selection is a little smaller than a lot of places, but well cultivated

My favorite vegan eats in the city. Staff/owners are the best. Pick up their new cookbook and a lavender latte! Great place to meet a friend, grab a brunch or just browse the book shop and get a drink.

Book shop meets vegan cafe. The food is amazing and they have a wide variety that my mom vegan friends also really enjoy. They have vegan pulled pork, french toast,ac and cheese... And baked goods too! They also sell some alcohol. The books are phenomenal and unique. They even have mystery book bundles that are themed. They have taken the time to mark some of their fav books with little blocks saying what they are about. Overall a very quirky adorable place for foodies and book lovers to enjoy.

Probably my favorite place in town. What an interesting concept. 10/10 farmhouse Tofu crunch wrap. Ice coffee is good. Mostly the people who work here are incredibly nice and do a great job. They also have vegan pastries from a local bakery.

Visited for the first time recently and had a fantastic experience! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was wonderful. It was so pleasant to wander a bit and explore the books and art while we waited for our food. They also took our concerns about allergens very seriously, which always makes dining experiences better.
