Classically and traditional style theatre. It welcomes all genres of entertainment. From from music concerts to movie nights, The Ohio Theatre is a perfect venue for your pleasurable entertainment. You may hear some good laughter resonating from the echos projected by the audience, voices that sound like instruments, and talented musicians displaying their craft. Near by Parking garage located across the street and or times metered parking. Prices contingent on your show.

This venue is lovely. I went to see Wicked (Touring) on June 5, 2022. As a person with a plus size body, theatre seats make me so nervous. I'm very afraid of being in pain from narrow seats, taking up extra space from another patron and generally not being able to access these kinds of spaces. But sitting on the first floor of the Ohio Theater alleviated my fear. I fit just fine in the seats and yes I spilled over a little but not much. I'm told seats in the balcony are more narrow but I do not personally know. The decor in the theatre is gorgeous. It feels glamourous and vintage. I will definitely go to another show or 6. The parking is in a garage but there is minimal walking (about one block) and it cost about 5 dollars. There's also an elevator for those who can't do stairs. Wicked cast? Amazing. Standing ovation and tear worthy.

The Ohio Theatre is a beautiful, historic theater that features intricate woodwork decorating the theater's walls, ceiling and more. While the Ohio Theater often features excellent shows, seeing the theater is worth a visit whether or not you are attending a show. In my most recent visit, I saw a production of The Nutcracker, which was a wonderful show for the holiday season. I sat on the outer edge of the floor seating and still had a great view of the stage. We were able to secure parking in the garage across the street from the theater.

Beautiful theater and a great venue. I enjoy the shows I see there and like that they participate in the summer tour. I have recently attended Hamilton and it is just as beautiful and clean as ever. They do not have the water fountains open currently.

Absolutely gorgeous theater. Saw the Holiday Pops and the Columbus Symphony and their guests were superb. Price is worth it as well. The theater is spectacular in every way.

The Ohio Theater is a beautiful piece of history in downtown Columbus. We have seen a few shows here over the years. Last night we saw the Nutcracker. The seats are comfortable. Bathrooms are located downstairs. Be sure to check COVID restrictions before you purchase tickets.

Always the best experience here. Not a bad seat in the house and you can just feel the history once you walk in. The staff is friendly and always ready to help get you to the right spot or your seat. Can't wait to visit again and see another show. Highly recommend visiting if you've never been.

Had a great time seeing Jesus Christ Superstar at Ohio Theatre! Entering the building and concessions were efficient. Seats were comfy, sound was great. I was concerned with how late the doors opened for seating. It was extremely packed and it took forever to get to our seats. Lots of people were seated after the show started - many of which weren't escorted by ushers and utilized their own phone lights to find their seats. Very distracting as they let the light bounce everywhere. The doors really need to open more than 30 minutes in advance with how full of a house there was.

This place is beautiful! The carvings and design is amazing. All the seating is wonderful no matter the location. Tonight I'm mid center for the Christmas Carol play. They serve snacks and drinks here. I definitely recommend coming here especially for this play. It's only the weekend after Thanksgiving and maybe one more day before Christmas. It really gets you into the Christmas spirit.

Recently experienced the silent movie at this beautiful theatre. I've been to other places locally but it was my first Ohio Theatre experience. The wait time for entry was quick, the staff were super friendly & attentive. Concessions are easy to find & affordable, mainly beverages and snacking items. The organ player for the theatre is beyond talented. Highly recommend the silent movie experience!

The theatre is beautiful! We went to see Wicked and the show was great! I really appreciated the ushers who were showing people to there seats. They were all older and the man who ushered us reminded me of Lurch, so I loved him! Lol! Overall had a great time!

I have loved coming to this place since I was a kid. It is a work of art in and of itself. Great venue for concerts, movies. This is the kind of place you can where a tuxedo or sweatpants. Parking across the street at the statehouse garage is $5 and really close

Such a beautiful facility. I encourage my fellow Ohioans to visit this theatre and take a few moments to look around at the ceilings and walls. Plus the amazingly lit Columbus Commons is behind the theater and worth walking through to enjoy at this time of year!

Went to go see Moulin Rouge. The theater was a full house. The show was fantastic. The production company made it a point to not take pictures during the act so this was the best I could do. I cannot comment on concession being offered but I did see a few refreshments in people's hands.

Beautiful theatre. It's always a fine time when we go there. Staff is welcoming and helpful! The organ being played is so cool before the performances!

Such a beautiful theater! Was just here a couple of days ago to see Hamilton and it was amazing! We had high balcony, all the way to the left seats..and our view was still great! I'm convinced there's not a bad seat in this theater!

I bought tickets for a performance for one of my wife's favorite musicals, Cats. It was a Christmas gift to her from me and she was ecstatic about going. This was the centerpiece of a much needed vacation for us. Unfortunately, when we got there, the seats were just too small for me. That's not a shot at the theater though. I am just a very large man. I felt terrible because I knew that if I couldn't sit, my wife would be so disappointed that she couldn't watch the show. The tickets were expensive but I didn't care about that. I was just worried about letting my wife down. Just before the show began, we went to the ticket office and they gave us a slip of paper and told us to find the Theater Manager. When we talked to him, he understood perfectly and seated us in a different area, with two folding chairs. He told us that it was no problem and even gave us his card so if were come back, he told us to contact him and he would set something up for us beforehand so that we will be comfortable. I am so appreciative that he went out of his way to make sure we got to the watch the show and he absolutely salvaged our evening. I can't say well enough how much I appreciate them helping us. The show was great, the building is beautiful and overall, we had a fantastic time.

Always a beautiful time here. It was so good to get back to it after their season off. The dancers were beautiful and my wife and mother had a lovely time as well. The seating and COVID / mask policy was as good as it could be dealing with the circumstances. Bravo all around.

The Nutcracker performance was outstanding. The theatre was good but not great. Only one concession stand was open with a small selection compared to 3 years ago and many concessions with a variety of selections were available.

The theater is amazing. If you have the change to tour it - no show required - you should.

Beautiful theater from the entrance to the inside. Smaller theater than most so the views were good from most of the theater. It is just beautiful looking around. The golden inlays are so well done and the theater is kept in nice shape. Everyone did a good job getting the large crowd of people in and out of the show. All in all a very good experience

A beautiful 1920's movie house that's been converted to live theater. Amazing history I highly recommend you look it up on the CAPA website. This visit was to view Wicked. Wonderful show!

The annual Capa Summer Movie Series at The Ohio Theatre is one of the greatest traditions alive in Columbus. Seeing your favorite old films on the big screen in the “perfumed twilight pleasuredome” (as longtime organist Clark Wilson always says) is truly a magical experience. Not only is the theatre majestic and preserved to its original glory, the staff is kind and welcoming. Can’t help but feel a sense of appreciation and wonder every time I enter the gorgeous lobby. Grateful to have this national landmark nearby to enjoy.

Must visit! Old and preserved perfectly. One of the few old move theaters still alive converted to a theater. The woodwork at the loby and inside the orchestra is beyond a piece of art. Just enjoyed a ballet performance of Swan Lake by Ballet MET under the direction and inspiration of their artistic director, Edward Liang. Perfect much

Went for the Summit of Greatness event and the theatre is really an amazing venue for this and I truly believe is great for any kind of events. Is a beautiful building, very clean, no humidity or dust (my allergies were fine), the theatre sound design was great so I was at the back and It was perfect. The lighting for the event marvelous, all in all it is a great venue to go.

Beautiful old theater. Enjoyed CAPA Summer Movie Series. Saw Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back. Greeted by surprise guests while waiting in line to go in. Fun family evening for both kids & adults. Reasonable value-priced tickets as well. We'll visit again for sure.

Always an awesome performance. The organ is the reason this place exists today, and a silent movie is the best way to here it. Clark Wilson is just unparalleled and it is a truly Columbus Experience to hear him and his Mighty Morton Organ perform an entire movie. Check out the CAPA summer movies. Gotta thank the ushers as well.

Beautiful theater! Lobby area seemed very small, people were packed in deciding which direction they needed to go, and the concessions were also in this area. In need of additional and renovated women's restrooms. Otherwise, it's a wonderful place to see a show.

Second time visiting this theatre. Great facility to experience a musical or symphony. Concessions are a bit lacking, but at least they have the basics.

The most gorgeous theatre I've ever been to! Have seen Bob Dylan there, and the Columbus symphony orchestra performing the Star Wars score. Both amazing shows!

We took twins to Paw Patrol Live. Anyone with young children knows this is kids programming. We bought our tickets online and had seats on 2nd row of balcony only 2 seats from being directly center stage. We had room enough to be comfortable and the theater is quite beautiful. The show was entertaIning and the kids all seemed to love it. I will definitely go back for other shows they have scheduled.

Caught Frozen at the Ohio Theatre. It was a great performance. All singers were spot on as well as the orchestra. The only complaint was that it was so hot inside. Recommended.
