The over all experience was great!! There is plenty of things to see and learn from most being highly interactive to keep the kids entertained and engaged. Some of the themes include space, life, electrical, recycling and many more. Including a special exhibit featuring Cuba that I personally found very interesting. There is also indoor and outdoor play areas. The interactive stage was a nice break for the kids to enjoy an informative show on electric charges. The only down side was the extra expenses that aren't included in the initial entry fee. The Marvel superhero was the one that stood out for us. None the less we enjoyed our experience and look forward to taking the two hour trip back up again soon.

The price was quite a bit of sticker shock, especially the random Columbus arts and culture fee 🙄.. but seeing how the kids reacted to everything, even how the adults in my group had fun with them was pretty awesome. We passed on the additional cost attractions so I can't comment on those ... Except the marvel exhibit. That alone is worth the whole trip for me, it's a FANTASTIC exhibit and I highly recommend it for adults and children alike. Staff was friendly and helpful. Atomic cafe food was excellent. Whole museum was clean and well organized. If it was closer to me I would even consider the membership program they offer.

Visited COSI on 10-14-23 with three adults and five kids. The total price for the entire day, which included parking, entrance, and food, cost approximately $410. We've been coming off and on for some odd years, and while we have always really enjoyed it as a family, it gets harder to justify the astronomical price, comparatively to other things. Many exhibits are the same as they've been, with little to no change whatsoever, in the last decade. The cafeteria can hardly maintain the influx outside of very early morning hours. Prices for food are extremely high (higher than amusement parks, football games, or other comparative places pricing), and this particular time, the special exhibit (Barbie) was incredibly underwhelming. While the kids had an incredible time, and we adults too, and enjoy what COSI has to offer, as a returning and paying visitor, it's in need of a total face-lift in regards to maintenance; and just in general. If you've never been, it is highly recommended as it's a unique and incredible place to experience. Adults and children alike can explore and be immersed into a world of science and exploration, but it has little to no return value outside of special exhibits.

What an amazing resource for the community. Such an incredible experience. There are so many interactive exhibits to spark curiosity in both the young and young at heart. Just the history behind the museum is exceptionally enriching. COSI has been on my list since the sixth-grade. Today was the day. The planetarium was awesome.😃 The glass elevator was a crowd pleaser. The energy, the ocean, & the recycling ♻️ information are definitely something we can all learn from. Take the day or more to enjoy 😉 all COSI has to offer. Like and follow for more adventures ✨️ Travel well 😌

Wonderful place to spend the day. Plan for the long haul there is so much to see it’s worth return trips. So many fun activities for the kids. Spend some time in the store and grab a kit. If you’re hungry the cafe was great! The trip back in time through progress was incredible.

Huge muesum with lots of exhibits to see. Spent about 3 1/2 hours just to find out I didn't get to see the ocean stuff, kinda bummed. I bought tickets for the Motion Simulator ride and it was pretty awesome. My favorite was the King Tutankhamun exhibition. Pretty amazing story and beautiful replica of his tomb. Let's not forget the planetarium. So beautiful, calm and relaxing. Durring our presentation, we got a little history about how the Egyptians used the stars and sun for many things.

Awesome place to work and play. This was my children's favorite place to visit growing up. So much so, when my daughter became old enough to work she applied and was hired here. From the ocean exhibit to becoming a young adult and hosting Cosi after dark through the SSA team. Now as a senior class of 2020 from Bishop Hartley High School she'll be attending Miami University.

Very cool place with so much to see, for the very young to adults. Grab a map and wander around. I found myself having to stop the kids from just running up to an exhibit and touching everything and if it didn’t “do” anything, they’d run to the next thing- there is a lot of reading involved before you can do the actual activity. So, I had to call them back, read the instructions to them, then it was actually a cool thing to do. My kids were ages 8-12. They just wanted to physically do everything without really knowing what they were supposed to be learning about. So, adults, keep up and get engaged along with them so they know how to complete the activities and maybe learn something from them. The Marvel exhibit is cool, but I’m not a fan of the extra charge to see it. The outdoor courtyard stuff is fun and there’s a playground out front of the building too. There’s a cafe and gift shop. So much to do and see, could be an all day thing if you want to get your money’s worth.

We absolutely had a blast at COSI! We were trying to fit a lot in and definitely needed more time and we were there for 5 hours. My little girl was three at the time and we did have to pay for her. I am a teacher so I did get entry free which was so nice! If I wouldn't have checked out the counter and paid cash I never would have known that so I'm glad we didn't prepay. The activities were fun and engaging. There were so many sections that we couldn't really do with our girl because of her age so we are looking forward to going back multiple times as she's growing. The tot area was okay for her. She is almost four so she was a little bored up there. She really enjoyed the house area. We really loved multiple areas where my husband and I could have stayed there for hours playing! I love that they had an interactive space where they could make parachutes and test them out! We really had fun in that area as well. I could go on and on... So much fun exploring science!

Absolutely loved visiting this museum. This has to be one of the best science museums in the country. We bought the all inclusive pass which was well worth it! Everyone was friendly and helpful. Parking was easy. Make sure you bring your parking ticket in for a discount.

Wow! This is an amazing experience for the whole family. COSI is a science museum for kids. They are so hands on at every single exhibit. They have 2 stories. Some exhibits are rotated throughout the year. Parking is down in the basement of the facility. Super clean when we came and staff was very helpful and all over in order to help. Very cool to see a live show with some animals and the kids could go and pet them. It was busy on a Sunday, but I would definitely come back. They also have a large water fountain out front for the kids to splash in. We want to come back when its a little less busy but still enjoyed our visit!!!!

My husband and I went for a Valentine's date to the COSI After Dark event. It was great! They had an interesting presentation from the Columbus Zoo, the exhibits were awesome, and they had bars set up throughout. The only negative that I would note is that paying extra for the food was not worth it. It was not a great selection, but the event overall was awesome! We will definitely be returning.

I love this place, but I wish it had more hands on things for the younger kids to do. We went for the Marvel attraction. It was cool, but definitely for teens and adults. They did have the costumes from the movies on display. We went on a Saturday so it was very, very busy, but that was expected. My only complaint is about the rude adults that do not try to control their children, or know how to act in public themselves.

A really fun museum. We enjoyed the rat basketball a lot. The dinosaur exhibit is pretty good and so are the interactive space displays. Can't say anything about the planetarium because they cancelled the last two shows for the day. I never found out why. The small town of Progress was exceptionally enjoyable. The food at the cafeteria was surprisingly good. Very good infact. Prices did seem excessively high though

Cosi simply is one of the best science museums in the nation (having visited most of the popular ones around big cities) ; the building is well thought of and the space is perfect for accommodating amazing collections of science and nature exhibits. Several areas have rotating exhibits that keeps it fun. Various events keeps us coming from dinosaurs tales, to rats basketball, construction displays with real bulldozers, to adults only night at the museum!! The kids play area is one of the best and most comprehensive I’ve seen (at par with children museums) with well maintained and cleaned items. Membership includes reciprocity entrance to most science museums nationwide. Parking is easy.

This place is by far the funnest, largest and most informative and fun science museum I have ever been too in my life. The fact they have the marvel display right now going on is just the icing on the cake. This place is large. A lot to see. We didn’t cover anything outside, the entire kids are and I know we missed stuff in there and still spend over 5 hours going thru everything. Do not miss the planetarium show. I’d say get there about 10 mins or more early to be sure you get a good seat. I don’t know if the marvel exhibit is brining more people in or if it’s always that busy but for our show at 130 it filled in pretty good. If your a complainer about social distancing or a mask wearer don’t under rate somewhere returning to normal. Don’t go. If you don’t care like we don’t, if your in the area definitely go. This was one of the main highlights of our trip coming out here.

There's a reason why this place is so beloved. We spent about four hours here and there was so much to see and do. One of my friends rode the high wire unicycle, the person who was running that attraction gave special attention to everyone I saw riding it, making sure they felt safe and making it a special moment. Also, this place is not just for kids!

This museum was so much fun! Went with some friends and we had the most amazing time. So many interactive exhibits and many learning points. The King Tut exhibit was one of the coolest things I've done ever and the artifacts blew me Away. I highly recommend locals and those traveling check this place out. Planetarium comes with admission! I believe adult tickets were $25 at the time so definitely reasonably priced for all the magic you're getting. 3 floors of science and exploration? I will be for sure coming back with my daughter.

So much to look at! You can easily spend a few hours here. If you go on a Saturday try to get there right as they open to avoid it being crowded the entire time you’re there. They have a great kid space upstairs that is spacious and they have a nice water area.

COSI is an amazing science center. So much to discover, fun for all ages. Worth looking into membership if you or your kids are science enthusiasts. Make sure to take a look at the small town exhibit and try the old time tv studio. Progress takes you back in time with its own storefronts, radio station, post office, stores, gas station, phone boot, ice-cream parlor etc. Don’t forget to get a stamp on your parking ticket to receive a $2 discount on your parking.

I cannot express enough what a great time we had at COSI. We were in Ohio to drop our son off at soccer camp at TU. We were thinking about going to Cedar Point, but chose this place instead. We were not disappointed! We enjoyed the Marvel exhibition and the Motion Simulator (which was about an hour wait w/advanced tickets). We were there for 5 hours and still did not get to see all of the exhibits. The lunch was subpar; the pizza was horrible, but the fries were great. We purchased a membership so we will definitely be back. My 11 year-old daughter thoroughly enjoyed herself, and if I'm being honest, my husband and I enjoyed it just as much! We can't wait to return!

Farm day was awesome. Parking was easy, the kids had a blast and it was a great way to spend the afternoon with family and friends. We also had the pleasure of meeting Wayne a Cosi employee…he took time to talk to us and the kids and you could tell he truly loves his job. Keep it up Cosi team.

My family had a blast at Cosi! Love the teacher discount and the reciprocal memberships to other museums. My oldest loved the king Tut exhibit and my youngest loved the dinosaur exhibit. The kids play area is great and the outside play ground is so fun. So much to do we never see it all in one visit. I always recommend this place to anyone coming to Columbus.

Amazing content, HORRIBLE customer service. The staff is so rude: cashiers rude, not letting my preschooler stay with me in the bigger kids area so one of the kids had to be unsupervised if we stayed (we didn’t), staff complaining at ticket counter about having to work and wanting to leave, rude everywhere. Put a damper on experience after having to drive a long way to and from museum.

We had a blast, the coffee as well as food was superb and went as a group for Feast of Tabernacles. All the exhibits that we seen were great but the life exhibit was VERY DISTURBING..they legit had aborted or miscarried babies at different stages on display...who puts dead babies on display as "science".. disgusting my kids were shook 😞

Really great place for both parents and kids!! Very interesting, and they had tons of fun hands-on stuff for all ages to enjoy!!😁 The only thing that was a little disappointing was the planetarium show, which was not very entertaining for the kids and was more about Egyptian mythology about the stars than our solar system. We said that we should have skipped the planetarium show.😕

Went to COSI after dark and it was pretty amazing. The lines were a little long for food and drink so prep before hand. It was great to drop being an adult and play/learn from the interactive exhibits. The planetarium was mind blowing. To see how insignificant we all are compared to the massive size of everything else. The shows were also not childish so they were enjoyable. There was not enough time to see everything so we will be planning a trip back next after dark. I highly recommend this place if you have kids but also if you are an adult, just after hours on the special event nights.

We had a great time exploring! Only had a few hours,, but We made good use of our time.. We started with the dinosaurs. Great exhibit, very informative. Then we went to the planetarium where you lean back and enjoy the show. We went to Ocean and Life which were good. The simulator was closed, but if that up and running check it out! We always enjoy it. Also, the wind chambor by the glass elevator gets a lot of laughs for $3. There are also great views of the bridge and river close by! Great time!

Really cool place with tons of exhibits. Obviously based on your interests, some exhibits may seem better than others. With that being said these are not all the pictures I took but I don't want to spoil everything for you so go check it out for yourself. I highly recommend the water exhibit! The bathrooms are clean, the halls are as well. You'll rarely see anything out of place(like trash, etc etc) but they do a really good job keeping the place nice and cool.

This is a nice science museum. I went here and was satisfied with my experience. I parked in the science museum’s parking garage and went up to the museum. I paid the admissions fee at the admissions desk and went through the exhibits of the museum. There was an exhibit about sea life and the ocean, which was pretty good. There was also a physics exhibit , which was pretty good as well. In the second floor of the museum was a space exhibit, and an exhibit about the human body. After I went through the museum’s exhibits, I went down to the museum’s food court on the first floor. I got some pizza nd sat down at a table and ate it. The pizza tasted okay and I left the museum after I ate it, satisfied with my experience. I gave this science museum five stars because it has nice exhibits.

Was at COSI for a school event so most of the big selling points our high school kids where excited about where not open .but as always COSi was still pretty amazing . The highlight of the visit for our group had to be the ocean 💙 exhibit. The Animation exhibit was a close second. Over all it was a great experience for all.

In OH from PA and needed time to kill before an event. Two adults - huge nerds, no kids, and we had a blast! Didn't get a chance to check out the planetarium or Tutankhamen exit, but the dinosaur exhibit was very thorough and a must for dino fans. The nature superheros was also very detailed and fascinating. We enjoyed some of the activities available for kids (because we're all just big kids anyway). A nice stop for anyone, young or forever young, who enjoys science. $25 general admission. Tickets had to be bought on the website and QR code presented inside for band.

Went in fall on a day off from school. Hadn’t been in years so I learned you have to buy tickets ahead of your visits via the app. We primarily went for the Barbie exhibit. The exhibit was engaging but felt less cohesive than other parts of the museum. I know it’s on loan but it just felt like they plopped the components in an empty black room and called it a day. Kids obviously don’t care but it felt uncharacteristic for COSI. Barbie exhibit was a great blend of historical and career-oriented. Probably best for girls 3-7.

COSI is committed to recycling, protecting and preserving nature, and maximizing fun when educating kids. We have a membership and go there often (it's paid for itself on a few visits already!). There are little things about this place that can make it interesting if the big displays don't catch your attention, like the sun dial in the outdoor eating area of the café. There are a variety of farm animals and an activity tent available for their Farm Days now, so go pet some docile creatures and learn how to support local farmers.

Its a good place for kids n family. You can spend almost 4-5 hours here. The water area is very good. Didn’t find the good options for food there are cafe but mostly offers drinks so, take something your food too. If you have parked your car in front of cosi, public garage they may give you a $2 discount. Ask them to put bar code on your ticket when you are leaving.

As a person who was raised with the previous COSI it has been a hard transition to this new space. All of the times we have come for a special experience it has been very well done. I love the Muppets, Marvel and today King Tut. When walking around the rest of the building a lot of the interactive experiences were broken or not working. I understand kids are hard on equipment and it must be hard to keep it working. Staff were all very friendly and the cafe had well made fresh food.

I Wish I could give a million stars. Such an AMAZING place. It's extremely hard to please my kids and my husband at the SAME time. But they all had an AMAZING 😍 time. Before we went my husband was second guessing it because "it's a museum and museums are boring " but he wants to go back along with the kids. My middle son always complains about one thing or another. Not once did he complain. My daughter is like momma and loves any adventure. It is soooo with the time. If you haven't been now is your time to go!!!

There is definitely a ton to do for children and adults of all ages and plenty of exhibits and encounters that keep anyone visually stimulated and engaged with hands on activities. The price is fair for entry and there is plenty of surrounding parking. While the cafe area has many wonderful options it is way too small, especially when weather does not permit for outside seating.

I took my family to COSI to go experience the Tutankamen Exhibit, and it did not disappoint! We were able to keep our tickets by utilizing the app, which made it extremely convenient. After parking, we went inside, had them scan our tickets, and get our wristbands since we prepaid. Going to the Tutankamen Tour first was amazing. Everything is replicas, but the story was well put together, the replicas of everything were properly scaled to size, and everything looked very genuine. The mini tour was great because, at the beginning, it explained the history behind it and how King Tut was found. After the exhibit, the family and I explored even more stuff and the whole COSI is amazing. So many different exhibits to explore. We will be back for sure!

Disappointed and hoped for more. They have not changed the exhibition rooms, or the area in general, in 15 years. The first time I went to COSI was a school field trip in middle school. I was so bored and disappointed with the huge lack of mentally stimulating exhibit rooms. Not only were there mainly boring "interesting facts", and boring ways to present them, but there were much less hands on exhibits than they lead on. The "ocean" room, which is less ocean and more movement of water, was a little sub that just sits there and you have to wait forever to even see that. And the other part of it was a giant water fountain. The rest was not working. Fast forward 15 years later, I brought my kid because I was hoping things changed. Ocean room is still half not functional, and really boring. The little kids areas are ok, but there are so many kids in the little areas that you can't even enjoy it with your kid. The water play room would be cool if it did not have such a urine smell. I was afraid to let me kid touch anything including the carpet, let alone the water..... The medical exhibit has some promise, if they would add more hands on stuff. I was happy to see they were at least offering healthy alternatives to hotdogs and fries in the cafeteria, but the staff were slow and obviously unmotivated to be in customer service.. I'm giving stars for the random guy bringing a tarantula to pet in the hallways. And the random play things in the hallways. Those were cool. The medical exhibit had cross sections of an actual body. The kids play area was ok but needed some more variety of toys/ displays. That's all of the memorable experiences I have.. I'm astonished of the hype and the awards, because this place is so old, outdated and boring. The lobby when you walk in is the coolest part. The extreme lack of not only change to the exhibits, but presentation of mentally stimulating material, or more hands on exhibits, is disappointing. Never going here again, and I tell every parent I know to disregard all the hype, because that's what it is. If you have really smart and curious kids, bring them to the zoo and enroll them in some STEM extracurriculars instead of going to COSI..

A great science museum and a great place to take children. Nice exhibits and friendly atmosphere. IMAX theater is also available and many hands on exhibits. A great place for learning.

This was always one of the most anticipated days on my younger years, with our classes going on a yearly trip to cosi. It was always such an interesting and exciting time. I still enjoy cosi for all they have done however I do wish the community would back them with some extra funding like the older days. I feel they could really get back on the front page if that was the case. Thank you to all the workers and volunteers that make this place possible everyday!

We went on a Saturday in the winter so it was quite busy. They have lockers to store coats which require quarters and is convenient. Variety of dining options for each type of diet. The exhibits were great with a variety of activities for all ages. The Ocean space was my favorite and such a different take on ocean theme. Would definitely come back.

A few interesting exhibits for the adults to enjoy for sure, will have to come on a day where all the kids from the county don’t decide to have their school field trip as they will run wildly in the building. Definitely a must see at least once if you’re passing through Columbus.

Staff was kid friendly and very accommodating. Our two boys ages 5 and 8 absolutely love visiting here and they don't even mind the hour long car ride to get here.

Went with preschooler and baby. Little kids place is fun. Chemistry show is cool. Met elementary school field trip in the morning. Too many kids in the little kids place. Kindergarteners were running around so Younger baby (crawling one) is hard to find a safe space to play. Afternoon there were fewer kids. Baby had a nice time then. Hope there are more sections for crawlers. And suggestion don’t put so many LEGOs in the nursing room. They goes all over the place.

We had a school field trip here and we had a great time! The kidsspace was an excellent place to let the kids explore, learn and have fun in a more controlled environment. The gadgets section had many fun and educational stations and the progress area was a hit as well. I'm certainly considering a membership here for the family.

Absolutely fantastic for kids of any age. They're supposed to touch and climb and hold everything, so as a parent, it's incredible. The little kids area is well-conceived, with cubbies, stroller areas, family restroom, nursing area, tons of interactive exhibits, and even a little sitting area with tables, chairs, sink, and paper towels for snack time. I hear there are things for adults too.

Food was good. Disappointed in how many of the exhibits were not working. Hard to get children to interact when nothing works...
