Took my 7 year old daughter and was surprised at how large the park is. There are many slides and attractions. We especially loved the lazy river and wave pool. I will say food and drink are pricey and there's a long wait for service. Lines to the slides seemed a bit lengthy considering how many "lanes" were available; however, as with every business, certain areas seemed short staffed. The splash pad area was insane, but plenty to keep everyone happy. For the money, a good value. Get there early if you want a shaded spot. Plenty of chairs but shade is definitely a premium. All in all, would definitely do it again, but perhaps renting a cabana would be worthwhile.

They need to improve on a couple of things. The hours for one. Make it to reflect how many people want to come. There was too many people allowed in at one time. Capacity levels were too high. Broadening the hours would make it better. It takes an hour just to get to the top of one slide. 10-7 is not realistic. Open earlier at least. Second is that they need more people to empty trash cans and clean. Trash cans were full, bathrooms stank and vomit was on a walkway that never got cleaned. The tubes were slightly deflated and many people were just swimming down it. $$$$

Fun place for kids, price for food is normal just like any parks, I went on a Wednesday so it was not busy. Do NOT waste your time buying the zoom pass bracelet that let's you "save time" in the lines. 80% of the time I was trying to get the thing to work because it wouldn't swipe, and you have to make a reservation at each ride with it. Save your 27 bucks. It's not that drastic of a difference.

First time here and it was a pretty good time. The park seems like they keep up with it pretty well. The kids area which is called baboon lagoon was a blast for my 4 and 6 year old. On the negative side of things: 2 of the 4 bigger slides for the kids area were closed. It looked like the 2 big slides that dropped pretty fast were closed as well. The wave pool was the smallest one I've ever been in with the deepest part only 5'. The waves only got maybe 2ft from the original water level. The baboon lagoon was filled with over protective parents that had to go up and down with kids on the slides which made all the slides have twice the wait. Let the kids play, they don't need to be attached to your darn hip. If you feel the need to walk your child up to a slide a couple times to learn the "ropes", fine, walk your happy butt back down. Later in the day it was clearly noticeable that they let entirely too many people in the park. People were set up in the landscaping and lawn because all the chairs were taken. The lazy river had people just treading through it because there weren't enough tubes for the amount of people. It's like they pack people in like sardines. Overall it was a decent time. I wish they just managed the amount of people better as this had to be a safety hazard.

My six year old had a fun time! He pretty much stayed at the wave pool which was his favorite! We visited on a Friday and we got there at 11:30, and it was extremely crowded. We didnโ€™t purchase the fast passes for the water slides because my son doesnโ€™t like them, but I recommend doing that. The lines for each slide were SO LONG. There is a lot of different things to do here and a lot of different food items. We brought in our wagon and a small cooler with drinks and snacks, the sign says no coolers of any size inside the park but the guy that checked our cooler said it was fine to pass through. We go to cedar shores quite a bit in Sandusky and in comparison I would say that this water park is aimed more towards older children. Or kids/people that are into thrill water slides. We did enjoy the lazy river. If you plan on visiting be prepared to stay all day, and definitely bring some food and drink. We would visit this water park again ๐Ÿ˜„

This was my first time taking my family to Zoombezi Bay. We went on a Sunday. It wasn't overly busy. Plenty of things to do there for all ages. Perfect place to relax and play.

Great place fun for everyone. However I highly recommend bring your own food and drinks. The fountains are covered in bee's so much that when you try to get a drink your either stung or you end up with bee's in your drink. Food is not good at all and is beyond expensive for 3 chicken strips and some fries is 14$! You are way better of with your own food and drinks.

I think it's extremely overpriced. If you have a family of 4 you will spend about $200. It's more cost efficient to go to Kings Island. You will get coasters and water park and they close late. This park does have a lot of water rides and activities for all to do. I like that it's connected to the zoo but it's two different costs. I'm ok with that also.

Very nice place to spend your summer, plenty of fun, it has different areas, restaurants, pools, slides, wide tides pool, etc. It's definitely worthy to buy the season pass for the season, I did it so I can fully recommend it

Tons of rides, plenty of food options, fun lazy river ride, rides for older and younger kids. Nice tropical decor. The lines can be very long but they do have so many people that visit this place so be ready to be patient waiting in lines. We went there when the forecast was supposed to be raining but still too many people are out enjoying the park. The location being next to the Columbus Zoo is a bonus because you get to have two attractions in one. In fact, if you buy a ticket here, you get free entrance to the zoo the same day which means, you really need to plan a whole day trip if you want to take advantage of the rides, sightseeing the animals and more. Fun place for families with kids but you can also come here and enjoy as an adult as they do have adults-only sections.

It took us about 4.5 hours to complete all the haunts and rides. The twisted clown haunt was the best, but they all were good. I think we got a good value for our money. They could have added more lights around the park. The roller coaster also has lots of burned out lights. The actors were awesome.

This is the fun water park in Columbus. You might have heard about Columbus zoo but this one is associated with zoo and only open in summers. You can access the zoombezi bay from zoo side if you have zoo membership or bay membership. If you have tickets then can enter zoombezi bay directly from the parking. I liked about this water park is that itโ€™s very clean and neatly organized. The support staff and lifeguards are amazing to make your park stay fun and memorable. There are plenty of options for food. The best part I liked about the park is 1. Lockers to keep your valuables 2. Lot of food and drink options 3. Lot of beach chairs to sit and relax 4. Amazing rides 5. The lifeguards If you are in Columbus then itโ€™s must, your kids will have lot of fun.

Had a poor experience this year when I took my autistic son. He was excited but also anxious (understandably) to try to dolphin. We went there twice. Each time, my son was hesitant. It took a couple of minutes to convince him the first time, but still the attendant was very impatient and rude, telling my son "time is up". The same thing happened the second time with a different attendant who kept telling us to give her the mat back because she had other customers in line. Zoombezi Bay need to do a better job training their staff to be patient and compassionate with any kid (especially those who have disabilities).

Havenโ€™t been to this place since 2005! So many things have changed and for the best! No glass can be brought inside and they now have a designated area to leave coolers outside. Also they have this Christmas in July thing which is pretty cool!! If you donโ€™t buy the fast line you will have to wait to get on the rides up to 90 minutes!!

Great job at social distancing as much as possible. Quick and easy entrance and ride processes. Will Definitely be returning with another cabana rental!

Took the whole family, rented a cabana... that's the way to go, well worth the extra money to have someone bring you the food while the family is out playing. (Including adult drinks) Next time we will look into the fast passes. Depending on your level of activity you will want it if you plan to do a ton of slides. We didnt have a pass and easily rode all the slides at least once

The family (6 year old and 10 year old) came on a Tuesday and had a fun time. There are a lot of options, the lazy river, play area, and wave pool are all large and although busy, didn't feel too crowded. Parking is close, but you do pay if you don't have the season pass. There are a number of waterslides, some body and some inner tube, and one on mats, as well as a couple other smaller pools with activities (basketball hoops, an agility course, etc). We did not get the fast pass, and for the most part the lines still moved relatively quickly without us having one. The one exception was the big 4 person tube. There were not very many people using fast pass, but this line still moved very slowly. We spent an hour waiting and it kind of deflated the fun for a bit. We definitely expect waits, but for some reason this one moved much slower. It would be a nice improvement to have signs that give estimated wait times depending on spots in line so we'd have been better informed. But the ride was fun once we got on and we got to other areas that all moved more quickly. The other small suggestion is to add some clocks. There was only one we saw, and the time was wrong. There were a lot of beach chairs, we did not have trouble getting a spot. Coolers can not be brought in. Food and drinks are pricey, but there are quite a few options and the quality was better than I expected for a big amusement park. All and all we had a good time and would return, but it did not stand out as a must do attraction for us.

This place was the worst water park that I've ever been to. There were so many people that it was nearly impossible to navigate the park, much less enjoy the water. People were fighting over chairs and lawn space. The toddler pool had so many adults and big kids that I couldn't even let my daughter in the water without her getting knocked over. The wait times for the rides was almost two hours at times. I purchased souvenir cups, but was never able to refill them because every fountain I tried was either out of syrup or CO2. Or ice. The food was ridiculously overpriced, although it was tasty. I waited in line for an hour to get a souvenir frozen adult beverage only to be told they were out of stock when I finally got to the counter. Then no table because there were kids all over the 21 and over patio. I probably wouldn't go back on my next visit to the area.

Was very very crowded this trip. Lines long for everything. Thank god I'm over 21 to hang out in that lazy river ๐Ÿ˜ had a great day with the family tho. Restrooms could use floor dryers and more frequent cleaning. Still a great job by all!!! It was a very hot day.

CHRISTMAS IN JULY-It was $209 for 4 adult tickets + 1 child ticket for admission. $10 for parking. $15 for a large locker rental. One held all our stuff. $25 for 3 drinks in souvenir cups with 94 cent refills. One large pepperoni pizza was $27. Several slides all types to choose from and a wave pool. The best is the huge tower baboon lagoon for the young kids. It's like a splash pad on steroids x10. The pink floaties are free for the lazy river. They offer free life jackets to borrow for kids hanging on racks nearby. Hundreds of lounge chairs and if you drop down your towels or sandals no one will bother the items. Still I suggest keeping precious items close just like always, but its comforting to know the locals are friendly laid back people. The kids wore a lot of sunscreen and came out ok. The youngest is fair skinned and after 5 hours she didn't want to leave was only red on her cheeks n shoulders slightly so definitely bring SPF 50 or above and use before sun and after the baboon lagoon for sure (large shower bucket dump). It was tuff remembering where we parked as the rows are not labeled and the parking lot is extensive. We were only visiting from out of state for a day, but still I don't recomend the zoompass unless your a thrill seeker wanting to go down the largest rides multiple times. They offer a trolly to get you from your car to the front gate as well. This would be nice if you brought a large cooler or have breathing issues. Still pricey. They have a spot coolers are left at the entrance far from the fun, but its a very curtious ammenaty. They do have a metal detector and a search they do of your bag so they go that extra mile to make u feel safe. Hundreds of life guards too. Hope this helps.

This place is so affordable and great for the family or just as adults. They have a separate lazy river with swim up bar just for adults and no kids which was amazing. The admission and food and drink prices werenโ€™t bad at all. I wish the drink selection had more variety but I understand. Itโ€™s a great place and we canโ€™t wait to go back.

This water park was bigger than I expected with plenty to do for all ages. Lines were long without the fast pass for big slides. Lots of pools and wading pools. Kid size slides in Babbin Lagoon. Two lazy rivers, one family friendly and one 21+ only with alcoholic beverages for sale at the entry. Plenty of places to sit along with cabana rentals and a variety of stands selling food and refreshments. My son got a bloody nose and staff were quick to offer assistance. A storm warning rolled through and we had to evacuate the water for a while. It was very hard to hear the announcements unless right next to a speaker and staff didn't seem to have a clear understanding of what the guidelines would be for when guests would be allowed to return to the water attractions. We wandered for a bit before finding a bathroom to shelter in. Lines are long if you take any bag or wagon for bag checks. Your wait time will be significantly less if you can carry in your towel and personal items. Lockers are available to rent. Coolers are not allowed inside but can be kept in a public cooler area just outside the park, seating space looks limited for the number of coolers I saw lined up. Overall a very nice day. Water walk ways were clean. Very crowded in some areas at certain times.

Had a great day in the sun with the family. It was a perfect thing for us after not being able to do much this summer. The workers were very helpful answering our questions and showing us where things were. Spent 1 HR at the zoo and 4.5 hrs at the bay.

My kids first trip to a water park! The wave pool and river were a big hit, not quite tall enough to ride the big slides. Most of them require kids to be 48" tall, there are only a couple that they only need to be 42" with an adult, just to have proper expectations. My 5 year old was really excited to ride the big ones, so that was kind of a bummer. Also our day got cut short by a storm and tornado warning, so that was both exciting and disappointing.

Park was great. The ability to reserve a date and time in advance was fantastic. We picked a date and time that was early to beat the rush. It worked out and we were able to enjoy all the slide we wanted within the first 90 minutes. We even were able to enjoy waves in the wave pool before they stopped the waves due to the number of people in the park. After 2pm the lines backed up to about a 40+ minute wait.

I feel like the water park is getting run down. Also, about 4 hours after they opened the water started to look cloudy in the pool, wave pool, and lazy River. The wait time on the slides was ridiculous. They would intentionally limit the number of tubes going down to try to push people in buying the fast pass. We probably wonโ€™t go back.

Bigger than expected and many things were closed on Aug 14, including the 'lazy' river, which was a bummer. The wager was freezing cold which was unexpected in August, haha. The rides that were open were fun, the staff were friendly. We will def be back another summer.

I enjoyed a Saturday at the park with my kids (8yr, 5yr) and there was plenty to do. I liked the different sections for the babies, everyone, adults only. I felt the admission was high compared to other water parks. I highly suggest bringing your own food. There is a area for coolers (outside the park) to keep lunches and snacks in. I felt the food offered in the park lacked nutrition and was so expensive to feed our family for just one meal. It was fun and worth the experience to check it out however we will most likely not return.

Great place to take the kids and relax. Spent most of the day here at the wave pool. I recommend renting a cabana. Private space, large fan for a breeze, and mini fridge with complimentary water. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I recommend the nachos from the taco stand. Amazing! Kids loved the rides!

A truly phenomenal water park! We are Clevelanders who started a tradition of visiting Zoombezi Bay every summer 3 years ago. The park offers a wide variety of slides and other water attractions such as a large wave pool and long, lazy river. I am always impressed with the cleanliness of the park; plenty of trash cans around and employees cleaning up. Staff has always been incredibly friendly and attentive. Plenty of food choices are available and the Pepsi refill souvenir cups are great for kids! I highly suggest you rent a Cabana when visiting: private space, mini fridge with complimentary bottles of water, a large ceiling fan, your own server to take your food and beverage orders so you donโ€™t have to wait in line, and a safe to keep your belongings. No stress about having to find lounge chairs and a locker! Trust me, itโ€™s worth the money. It is always an unforgettable experience when we visit and we look forward to seeing you all next month!

They've made some changes since the last time I was there. They didn't make much sense to me but it was still a good time. Get the Rum Punch from the main stand in front of the wave pool. It's a good and sweet drink for adults.

Great water park with awesome attractions. We would advise you to buy their Zoom pass (fast pass). They sell it only at one of the entrances. We didn't and had to wait about 90 minutes for the most popular attraction, which is not ideal in direct sunlight on concrete stairs.

Family had a great time, they have made constant improvements to this park over the years. The bartender was great she was 5 stars we only went up once for two drinks, but found ourselves wanting to go back to chat with her. The food service seemed like it was outsourced though the fries were really tasty. Too many 16 year old staffers phoning it in around the rest of the park. Hard to match the world class passion found at the zoo next door. Would still recommend for anyone looking for a nice Waterpark with attractions for all ages.

We took the family here during a weekday. The air temp was about 81 DegF for the high, but that wasn't an issue. All of the water was heated, so it was comfortable going on all the water slides and checking out the wave pool. They have a ton of different water slides to choose from! There are a bunch of body slides and raft slides. The lines move pretty quick except for the Cyclone. I would recommend avoiding that water slide since it took 1.25 hours of line waiting to go down the slide once. I couldn't understand how the lines didn't move more quickly. It seems like they could improve the efficiency of that slide. All the others were a ton of fun, and I would bring my family back here again for the day! Also, I'd recommend renting out a cabana if you have a large group. It's worth it for the food delivery alone!

Took our Girl Scout group of 13 and they all had a blast! It is big enough to have a good selection of slides and activities but also small enough that it wasnโ€™t a crazy amount of walking. Was cool to spend a little time in the zoo as well. The โ€œcooler coveโ€ worked very well for us. Definitely will go again.

Our kids are ages 10-13 and they all enjoyed themselves. I would definitely not recommend going on a weekend. It was SO packed and we didn't get to ride a lot of the slides because the lines were long and slow moving. But the park was very clean and the lifeguards were ON it!

I was hesitant to spend so much money to go with a 2 year old and an 8 month old. I am so glad we did! Both kids had fun, and I definitely felt like we were able to stay safe. I would recommend that moms with babies bring a mesh wrap that they can wear in the water. It was nice to be hands free and able to play with my toddler.

I took my 2 granddaughters for a nice day in the water. With my zoo membership the entry cost was still pricey at 75.00. We did bring a lot of our own snacks and drinks knowing in advance that the cost for these things were high. Two small dip-in-dots was 15.00 bucks. The souvenir store has some items fairly priced but mostly very expensive. All together for three of us sharing one order of chicken tenders, one order of nachos, 2 collectible cups and a t-shirt each, was over a 400.00 dollar day. Now on the good side, the water felt marvelous, the lazy river was amazing and we did that several times. Staff was decent. Due to the cost, we can only enjoy this park once maybe twice per summer.

Great water park! We did the zoo on Friday and the water park Saturday. We had kids ages 4,2, and 1 in our group so we primarily were at tiny tides. We set up a spot with our strollers and bags off to the side. I felt very comfortable that our stuff was safe! Such a cute area for the young kids to play! There was another section for kids to play in (4-8?) that was great also. Only a few of the slides were open in this section. I wasnโ€™t sure if that was because covid or short staffed. Multiple places to eat and bathrooms around. We took in a cooler of food and drinks. They did have 2 bars to get adult drinks! Very good experience!

Do the whole package when you visit, the amusument park, the zoo, water park. Take lots of food and beverages. Way too expensive for any family to eat or drink, and you will get hungry, stay hungry and leave hungry if you don't pack a picnic. I wanna go there now and just have fun. Can't wait.

Fresh food and drinks located right next to the wave pool. My husband and I took our 3 children here twice in the last week! The slides were all up and running and all 3 of our kids had a blast!! The lazy river was surprisingly cleaner and a lot more fun as compared to other swim parks we have been!! The water current actually kept all tubes moving at a good speed too. We all enjoyed our experience and had a wonderful time. We will definitely be back next year!!!

This place seemed a lot larger when I was a kid and this was still called Wyandot Lake. U would bring my kids here. But my nostalgia died pretty hard when we visited durinG COVID 19.

The importance of kindergarten: people do not follow the marked social distancing in the ground. The staff do not say anything.

The waterpark is so much fun. The staff does a great job trying to keep everyone safe and they did a great job trying to keep people distanced while allowing the opportunity for some normal fun this summer. Wish they stayed open past labor day while it's still 90 degrees out.

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ Nature-filled walk that takes about 30ish minutes via trail. The crushed-gravel path is part wooded and part open. You can take your pet but must be on a leash. I visited on a weekday AM before 8, and there was only one other person. The park has vast soccer fields and includes tennis and basketball...
