Absolutely love walking this trail. I think it's 1.2 miles around the lake if I'm not mistaken? There's tennis courts, soccer fields, a dock to fish on, a playground and more!

Really enjoyed this park and trail. The gravel trail is mostly wide and easy to walk with kids and/or dogs. There are various areas along the trail that allow you to go down to the lake (this is where a lot of people set up to fish). The lake is full of wildlife: ducks, fish, and turtles if you look closely. The area is beautiful. There is also a bike path. There are no bathrooms on site that I found by the lake, but there were two porter potties.

Review with accessibility concerns addressed The park is essentially three paths that go around Antrim lake. The outer path is paved and used mostly by bicyclists. I’ve never followed the path so I can’t say much about it The main path is 1.2 miles and composed of tiny, gritty pebbles. The path is used mostly by walkers, joggers, dog walkers & people pushing strollers. The path is surprisingly flat and strollers seem to cross over it well. So while I think this ground is wheels accessible, I will say that the tiny pebbles are easy to slip on. Since the path is a loop around Antrim lake, you must walk the whole thing or turn around. There are many benches along this path for sitting. The third path is sort of hidden and in the woods. This path is much less used by people, however there are runners and bicyclists using it. It is not wheels accessible. The park is accessed by walking underneath the freeway, which is incredibly loud. It would likely be hard on someone who is pained by loud noises. Once you get on the path in the park, the sound lessens. I usually see at least one unleashed dog each time I go, but it’s not as bad as some of the local parks. There typically are not restrooms, although I noticed last time I went (July) that there were 2 porta potties. Neither appeared to be accessible for wheelchair users. Overall this is one of my favorite places to walk my dog. I’ve included pictures of the ground on the main trail in case it’s helpful for anyone

Beautiful park and and 1.2 mile loop around the lake. Just a bit to crowded for me though

I have lived 15 minutes away from Antrim Lake for the past two decades and just discovered this gem! I loved it so much that after my first visit, I returned three more times within five days. The loop around the lake is accessible with many people around walking, running, or fishing. There are several spaces that will be perfect for picnics or lounging with a good book in hand. At times that I visit alone, I have felt safe. While the highway overpass may not be ideal, the sound does get muffled after a while and isn’t too bothersome. I look forward to exploring more of the trails in and around the park soon.

Antrim Park used to be the cite of the Olen Company in the 1950-60’s, the name came from the Olentangy and they supplied businesses with sand. The company relocated and the family that owned it left the land to the city and made this amazing park. The park is connected to the olentangy River trail which spans to downtown Columbus to Worthington so you can easily bike or run along the trail to get here. There is a 1.2 mile loop around the lake that you can walk or run (but cycling is not allowed). Many dogs walk around this lake if you are walking your dogs there is a poop bag dispenser in the parking lot (but otherwise you won’t find any), but there are plenty of waste baskets around the lake of your dog need to throw anything away. There is no swimming in the lake but people fish. There are port-a-potties in the far end of the parking lot, some playgrounds and baseball diamonds and soccer fields to enjoy in the park.

The 1.2 mile trail around the lake is perfect for a walk or short run. It's beautiful. There are towering trees and lots of honeysuckle. My kids love the ducks that tend to hover around the deck. There's a decent amount of parking, but don't leave valuables in your vehicle.

One of my favorite parks to take a relaxing walk in Columbus, and enjoy some beautiful nature scenes. I saw a beaver swimming by the last time I was there, and a few little bunnies! I love that you can easily go on the Olentangy trail if you'd like, or just do the loop trail around the pond. Even though it's really close to the highway, I don't feel like you can hear the traffic once you're down the trail a little bit, which is nice. Always enjoy seeing all the dogs walking around as well, or sitting on the dock for a little while as well.

Antrim Park is a great community park. Great clubhouse to rent for family reunions, church outings, large gatherings of any sort. Lots of ball fields used at varies times of the year. Great lake over a mile to walk around. Also plenty of fish to catch and rainbow trout are stocked a few times of year.

Really pretty park. It was nice to walk and see the lake. A few fellas were fishing and enjoying themselves. On the other side are tennis courts, soccer fields, and a play area for the kids. Overall, lots to do and see.

My favorite park of all times. This park has perfect sunsets. Beautiful views...It has a great path circling the beautiful Antrim Lake. If you just want to watch the view, that is fine as well, there are various places to sit and they are mostly available. You can walk your pet with a leash on. There is plenty of parking; no need to worry about. I advise you to bring a water bottle with you because there is no water fountain and no place to buy refreshments. This park is a heaven! I missed this park so much because I moved away.

Nice loop around the lake. Also some good paths in the woods. After you enter from under the bridge and see the lake, follow the trail left/north. After the bike path splits off, keep an eye out for an opening to the woods. This path will take you north through a grove of honeysuckle, and will turn right/east along a dam and then loops south along the river. You can exit a few times, but you can also keep going and have a beautiful hike in the woods vs the path, which can get crowded at times.keep an eye out for deer and other wildlife as you make your way along.the river path.

Great small, easy to access park. Love that it's adjacent to olentangy trail in case you want miles. But also has some woodsy trails for more of an outdoorsy feel. Love the morning views!

So nice and serene to pull off to the side of Olentangy River Road and see people fishing today!!!

Prefect place to take a little stroll around the lake any time of the day. There are many other things to do here but the lake is definitely the crown jewel. There is a gravel path that surrounds and us military folks love to take running test or train. It has nice variations of inclines and declines. The park is linked by a paved trail to all the other parks lining the Scioto River. I normally start my bike ride to downtown from here since parking is ample. The park is well maintained, lots of benches for people/ nature watching. Views are spectacular during the fall! They have multiple sports fields and it’s feels like a pretty pet friendly park. They have portable toilets in the parking area as well. The only issue is the expressway can be a bit annoying at rush hour. Overall a nice place for a walk, run, dog walking, exercise, sightseeing, relaxing or just enjoying the weather in a nature setting.

Caught a dolphin here last time using a worm as bait. My friend hooked a shark but it got away. This place is pretty but I haven’t had luck hooking up like I’d hoped. Are all the babes here carpet munchers?

One of my favorite places in Columbus! There is a gravel walking/running trail (just over 1mile) around a beautiful lake. It’s dog-friendly, and those with pets seem to be responsible and courteous. Easy connection to the paver bike path. There is also a small trail through the woods that takes you along the river. Overall, Antrim is a great little escape from cityscape.

A great place for outdoor activities. Dogs are welcomed and many owners like to their dogs play in the water. There is a 1.2 mile unpaved trail around the lake. This is also a po6 place for youth soccer. There are also outdoor tennis courts.

Easy parking if you visit by car. Bike trail and walking only trail for those that wish to not worry about bikes passing. Great pier to fish and benches and many benches around the lake to relax. Paths through the woods. Water fountain. Bike racks. The no bikes path goes all around the lake. It is a great place to hang out.

My family and I love Antrim park. Lots of parking. The wide gravel path around this Beautiful lake is wonderful. For a park smack dab in the middle of the city, it is about as peaceful of a place you can find.

A nice long trail that loops around the lake right off the Olentangy. It's a good place to stop and take a rest or have a picnic. There is a good amount of trails that run through the woods as well which is a definite plus.

l love, love this park! it was me and my friends first time visiting the park. The people were friendly and the walking path was beautiful. I like that they have a path for walkers and a path for bicyclist you didn't have to worry about someone rolling up on you. The walking path also had places where you could sit down if you wanted to. Will be returning.

AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL, PEACEFUL. Always a friendly face around. Amazing bike trails. GET OUT IN NATURE. Also, get here now. You are going to love it. If you are not in the mood to walk or bike? Pack a lunch or snack and relax on one of the many benches that surrounds the water. Or if you’re into fishing, this is the perfect spot. I can’t say enough great things about this park. I’m in love with it. Also great for animals.

Such a wonderful park. The herb garden is awesome and if you are in for an small adventure check out the hidden garden (no worries there are signs to help you find it). There is a wonderful trail through the woods or a great place to watch a steam down the hill. Many places to sit and watch people, some even hidden in the trees if you want to read a book more alone. There is a picnic area outside the main part of the park but still in it's boundaries.

  • 5/5 Shelby B. 3 years ago on Google
It always amazes me how many parks are tucked away in the city. This lovely spot is huge with tons of trails both for walking and bike riding. It's pet friendly. There are multiple tennis courts and fields to play frisbee or football. There is a good size playground for kids. There is also a large "lake"/pond that has a large walking trail around it with paths to the water for people to fish. Something for everyone to do, great place for kids and pets.

  • 5/5 Emily S. 3 years ago on Google
My favorite place to run in Columbus! The loop is about 1.25 miles which is short enough to make easy intervals but long enough to not get boring. It’s great scenery and community for a local park! Also you can hop on the bike trail and ride miles north or southbound. Always lots of dogs playing in the water in the summer and folks fishing from shore.

Great place for getting away from it and enjoying God's natural beauty and the fishing seams to be really what attracts many people The olettangy bicycle trail goes past the park and the 1.2 mile path around the lake is wonderful exercise and don't miss the trail for the Fire Department Emergency that winds through the woods to the dam and be sure to stay away from the danger of drowning in the undertow and watch the children and kids. Keep them safely out of the water and be careful about the bicyclist who pass through the park
