I was here for an event. The space is great and flexible for different kinds of meetings and events. The surrounding park is beautiful and cool (I love the views of the city across the meadows).

This is one of the few hidden gems in this city! It has a walking trail, rock climbing wall, and nature galore! One of my favorite small parks in Columbus.

Great stop located inside the Scioto Audubon Metro Park. It is free to visit. The building design is really cool. The staff was helpful and was ready to answer any questions. There isn't a lot to see in the building though. Did see a staff member feeding a snapping turtle which always really cool.

Pleasantly surprised by this - right here in Columbus, OHIO! I've lived in Columbus most of my life and never visited before. I was attending a business meeting at lunchtime and ended up roaming around for an extra half hour to see what this place was all about. It was just delightful! Lots to see and do outside too. I never knew this was here...such a gem! We're very fortunate to have a facility like this where kids can access robust programs and its near downtown Columbus. Truly a wonderful attraction for the city.

Great place to visit, all the staff are very friendly. There is a medium sized reading sun room with books if you want a nice place to sit after you walk around the area. The place was a little bit overgrown with plants on the path

Beautiful event space with nice views. The food is crowd friendly. Each time I've attended an event here, the staff has been kind. There is plenty of parking and overflow parking not too far away.

Wow, what a fanatic place to attend 3 day development training. The outdoors are just beautiful. So many different plants, trees, lots of birds and paths to walk around and explore. Definitely recommend for a family exploring or just by yourself. Very polite staff as well

This is a really cool building and park area. There is both an indoor and outdoor fireplace that appear to be free to use whenever you want with wood provided by the facility. There are also nice Adirondack-style rocking chairs available outside in a few different shaded spots.

An excellent wedding venue. A nice mix of dinner and dancing space, with room but also not too large. Also had a very cool, sustainable, urban vibe to it. And for now wedding things, there's a beautiful field and playground nearby, and in a cool neighborhood!

This place offers lots of engaging activities inside the Nature Center. There are several different crafts for kids and many different art and nature displays. You can even borrow binoculars to do bird watching in their really beautiful outdoor space. Highly recommended as a free activity that is also educational and fun. You can get tickets for designated time slots online, very easy process.

Been to this park many times but have never entered the building. It was so cool and there was more hidden trails I never knew about behind the building. Saw this beautiful artwork and couldn't find a signature, would love to know who the artist is.

There's a small craft area with some coloring pages, crayons, and more. There's also a library that is so quiet, whenever I'm in there I feel like I can finally relax.

Popped in here Saturday morning, was a bunch of parents running around with their kids (Guess there was some function?) nobody at the front desk and i did finally find one person in the gift shop and she was smily and pleasant, but not super helpful about the park and it's programs. I think i might have missed a button or something to bring a ranger or member of Audobons personnel running.

I've been here a few times, and always really liked the park. Today, I attended their new Tuesday Turtle Feeding program with 2 children, and it was great! There are limited spots and masks are required, but it all felt very safe and was a great way to help teach the kids about some new animals. They talked about the different kinds of turtles, how they take care of them, and showed how all their food is prepared and fed. The center also had some monarch butterfly cocoons, and they usually have a lot of other great resources for kids but unfortunately those aren't available right now due to covid-19. But it's a really nice nature center! The park is great too, although I haven't explored much of it. Around the center, there are lots of flower gardens and butterflies. There are trails for walking/cycling, views of the river, etc. I also really like the pond with the little boardwalk, and you can usually see some frogs in there!

Fantastic park. I loved walking along the river. Great views of downtown Columbus. The climbing wall looked awesome.

The trail was nice and well-maintained. The dog park was excellent, with a doggy-accessible drinking fountain, multiple sections and gates and agility obstacles and poo bag stations! Decent spread of pokéstops and gyms, too. Plenty of parking when we went on a Monday afternoon. Not much in the way of furniture in the section of trail we saw, just one bench on the water lookout balcony, and one picnic table near the nature center. Lots of round picnic tables under the shaded pavilion in the central dog park enclosure.

I really love going there. What used to be the cities impound lot, eyesore, was transformed into a beautiful park and mini nature preserve. Rock climbing wall, parcore course, nature and bike trails. Dogs are welcome, and there is a dog park for our furry family members. Be sure to take a walk through the Audubon center at the visitor center.

Great place for birding during migrations. Bring binoculars and/or a spotting scope and have a blast! Some years they hold the national birding expo at this location. Highly recommend.

This site is incredible 😍 The interior nature center has interactive sites and check out backpacks with activities for kids of all ages. The external paths, playgrounds, and rock climbing walls are just icing on the cake 😋

  • 5/5 Jake B. 4 years ago on Google
One of my go-to places to take my kids. They love walking around outside, the playground is fun, and they are always asking to play inside the center. Be warned – the center is often reserved for weddings and other events and this is not indicated anywhere online. So even if it says they are open, call ahead to ensure the building isn’t reserved.
