Well maintained clean park with many options for outdoor activities like rock climbing, trails for walking/jogging and bocce. This park also has wildlife along with beautiful downtown view. Best place that promotes mindfulness.

Beautiful park with nice walking trails. First time I've been and definitely going back. Have an amazing looking rock climbing wall. Looks like you have to bring your own equipment to do, to be safe, but not 100% sure. Very clean also.

Awesome park with lots and lots of space. Nice shelter houses along with restroom facilities. Kinda disappointed how dirty the drinking fountains were though. The water tower, climbing wall, all really neat. And glad to see so many people out enjoying the park on a Saturday morning.

Beautiful park. The rock climbing wall is pretty nice, a pond for fishing, playground for kids. Very clean and taken care of. The water tower has a nice platform to climb up with benches to sit and enjoy the view. There is always something going on, with still plenty of parking. Good place to spend the day for a family picnic or just to take the dog for a walk.

This sprawling metro park is one of the best in Columbus. The main attraction is the outdoor climbing wall that sits at the foot of the illuminated water tower. The park has a nice walking path, multiple playgrounds, volleyball courts, and plenty of parking. The annual Scioto Fest occurs here as well. This relatively small festival had food trucks, live music, and local vendors. It's worth checking out each fall.

I’m a little disappointed by the downsize in the dog park but I’m in love with the turf grass! No more muddy dogs and no need to worry about weather. I know they are currently doing construction to help with parking and I’m glad they upgraded some of the items as well.

Our family came across this place through a basic Google search looking for something to do when visiting family in Columbus. Wow is all we could say! We had never seen such an amazing place. Something for everyone overall. It has excellent paved walking paths, inventive exercise obstacle courses, a rock climbing wall, a play ground for littles, and a water tower that you can walk up and look out at views of the city scape. There is a beautiful pond area as well with gorgeous plant life all around it. A must go to place if in the area! Pavilions and swings allow you to relax and take in the views of the city!!

Scioto Audubon Metro Park is an amazing park. This site was not too long ago the Columbus impound lot and not much else. Today the park has so much to see and do that you could spend a day here.

My family and friends love coming to this park!! It's a (somewhat) hidden gem in Downtown Columbus Ohio!! On one side of the park there is a fishing dock and on the other side are a few shelter houses w/grill to cook on, rock climbing wall, Jungle gym equipment for a smaller and older kids, there are also 2 to 4 volleyball courts on sand. Huge plots of cleared Land for pets are people too run around in. Lots to see and lots to do, I highly recommend this place, it is a summer must for my family.

We received a very warm welcome and we were pleasantly surprised by the almost instant calm and peace we felt along the trail. We didn’t go to far but it was lovely, we saw all varieties of birds❣️ They have so much to do, we will definitely be returning to visit that obstacle course and climbing wall!

There's a dog park, but it's pretty small and overcrowded. It seemed more of a trendy place to go than a good park for my doggo

Great park with a plethora of things to do. My boys love the playground variety and obstacle course. Pretty easy to get to via the trail system, even with all the construction going on. I appreciate that it always seems to be evolving, there is a good amount of green space that makes it feel expansive. I'd love it if the trail could continue farther south but it looks like there is quite a bit going on there.

Definitely my favorite park in Columbus, OH. Amenities are well-maintained, has a grill area, play area for kids, outdoor rock climbing, beach volleyball courts, slack lining and an obstacle course for all ages.

This park has so many fun activities. They have a giant Simon Says game, that I stink at, but I had fun. Nice trails.

It's amazing that this little bit of beautiful nature is so close to downtown Columbus. Multiple walking trails. Pleasant overlooks. Dog friendly. Climbing rock wall. And fun, spacious, modern and clean playground. Perfect place to get back to nature and relax a bit from a fast paced urban city life!

This is one of the most beautiful and unique public parks I've been to. My boys loved the obstacle course, bouldering on the rock wall, and views of the river with various wildlife. The water fountains and cooling stations were great on a hot day.

This is one of the coolest parks in the Midwest! So much is offered here, including; miles of hiking/ biking paths, beautiful wetlands, amazing rock climbing walls and boulders, a ginormous (18,000 sq.ft) nature center, a massive open area where they host free "yoga in the park" and other unique activities, as well as my favorite piece - The Columbus Rotary Obstacle Course features a quarter-mile running track plus a tire run and flip, 8-foot wall, tunnel crawl, balance beams, monkey bars, cargo climb, belly crawl, over/under and a log run. After moving to Chicago for several years, I scoured the Chicagoland region for something similar, but to no avail. Now that I am back in Cbus, I have absolutely taken advantage of this gorgeous park! Great for families, including pets!

Beautiful peaceful park. Walking trails, good sizes pond with frogs, turtles, etc. Nice educational building. Lots of parking, bike rentals. Biking, running. Walking trail goes all the way downtown from the West Whittier pennisula to Bicentennial park downtown. Nice hike when the leaves are changing.

Fantastic park in downtown. Can see the skyline, but also feel away from the hustle and bustle. Great trails in the back and loops throughout the open areas of the park. Facilities are fantastic with everything from lounge swings, obstacle course, rock climbing wall, bathrooms, playground, volleyball courts, dog park, and more! Yet it doesn't feel crowded in the least and made for a relaxing morning walk with the family. Definitely worth the visit!

This is always a fun park! It's located close to downtown and has a lot of amenities. Ample parking, a climbing wall, an obstacle course, dog park, awesome nature canter, trails and fishing to name a few. It's definitely one of my favorite parks to go to.

This is one of my favorite parks in the city. I love the view of downtown. Every Sunday my friends and sister get together we walk the trails and do the obstacle course. This park also has a climbing wall, vollball courts, several large pond areas and an obstacle course. We absolutely love this park!

Beautiful city park. Well maintained, park ranger and staff out and about making sure everyone was good, asking if any assistance was needed, emptying garbage containers before they over-flowed. All in all a great experience, will definitely be back with more friends!!

This is one of the nicest restaurants I've been to. It's so clean, they always have fresh cut flowers on every table, the staff are so friendly and helpful, and my son loves coming here whenever we're in Columbus.

This is one of my favorite Metro Parks due to its central location and variety of unique amenities. The obstacle course is great as well as the nearby dog park and audubon nature center. ***One drawback is the current condition of the the playground and climbing wall area. At last visit, the padded ground was cracking and bowing around the entire area. Additionally the nature stone is chipping significantly which makes it gravelly. Not a huge concern if you don't use this area of the park but for my little ones it's a significant tripping/slipping hazard. Happy to update rating once addressed.

This was a really fun place for kids and adults! We went to celebrate a 10yr old's birthday. We strived early and rock climbed, did the challenge course, visited the nature center, and walked the wetland trail. The ladies in the nature center were so sweet and informative, while social distancing of course. Over all it was worth the trip. One draw back is that there were SO many yellow jackets! Our birthday boy got stung up on the small boulder, after seeing the yellow jackets (and getting away on the larger rock wall), and later we found a nest on the triangle-shaped climbing net as well. We had to leave to get first aid supplies from across town.

This is a wonderful park. I went on a Friday afternoon and it wasn’t busy at all. There are both paved and unpacked trails, it’s dog friendly, and there are so many beautiful native plants to look at and the bird watching is legit. It’s clean, safe, and well maintained.

This is one of the best parks in the Columbus area--and that's saying a lot. If the weather isn't conducive to outdoor activities, there is an indoor area with educational exhibits and a small library. But the outdoor area is why you're really here. Tons of bike/walking paths, a pond area to observe nature, a big climbing wall, a playground for the kids, and the water tower observation deck... plus sports fields where today there was a rugby game going on. The indoor facility is a gem that thankfully a lot of people skip over, too.
