This place was an absolute adventure. I ran across this while walking on a trail. I felt free and enjoyed just being present at this park. It was worth the journey. I recommend the visit. From the bridge art to the trails both high and low, to the treasures left from the past being present to represent the Indians who use to reside there; be in the moment.

Truly a fascinating city park in the middle of a densely populated area of Columbus. Glen Echo Park is a deep ravine with a creek running through it. There are a few picnic tables, some open grassy areas and scenery that you would not associate with Columbus. There aren't any restrooms, playground equipment, and no parking area that I know of. With that being said, I think it's one of Columbus's most unique parks and definitely worth the effort to spend some time at.

A nice little park hidden away in Clintonville-- I was really happy to find this today! I found two entrances-- both were a little hard to find if you've never been there. One entrance is all wooden stairs to get down to the park, and the other is a sloped, paved trail that is quite wide. The wide trail into the park is at the intersection of 4th and Cliffside. The stairs entrance is a little past Glenmawr and Cliffside (if you walk down Cliffside and away from 4th). There are picnic tables and large grassy areas throughout the park, as well as many bridges over the stream. There used to be a waterfall, but now it's just water falling down the cliff/rock wall. We didn't explore the whole park, but there's lots of hiking trails and I'm looking forward to coming back again soon.

This park is beautiful if you somehow find a place to park. The rest of the ravine is infested with a multitude of terrifying, goblinoid homeless people, bandits and other types of dangerous miscreants, however. So keep your head on a swivel if you should find yourself alone; the terrain is tactically disadvantageous to a person walking along the low ground. It is no wonder a dozen people have died in this park since its inception.

Glen echo park is a great little ravine tucked away in the city. Used to go on walks there, and last weekend we went to bird tunnel party which was awesome! Lots of stairs though, and no paved walkways so not the most accessible and even if you have no mobility issues you should still be mindful in footwear choice. My friend regretted her platform heels immediately.

I originally gave it 3 stars because it was a nice little spot. A lot of people parked in the back lot (make out point). I went back a little darker on another day. Walking the path i had to turn around as 3 men were pleasuring each other. On my way out of the path i was stalked by 2 toothless bums high on who knows what (meth) all the way to my car, meanwhile grunting and growling. Do not take your kids here.

I go here frequently to walk my dogs and have had many positive interactions with other dog owners. It's a great spot for a picnic, and in the snow it becomes very lovely. I've also seen barred owls here. All in all, it's great little park.

Rather creepy. E very car we passed only had men. When I went to look for a fishing spot there were men in the wooded area being very intimate.

This is definitely one of my most favorite quiet relaxing ventures to go to. Cool TP tucked away u can go in. The trails and the fun echo in the tunnel make the adventure complete. I really wish people wouldn't litter, it's a special beautiful park.

A small respite from the dogged pace of the city. This park has existed for over 100 years as part of the vibrant Clintonville community. The ravine features waterfalls, a winding Creek, walking paths, architectural features and historical markers.

Main access if you follow Google its closed, but if you go a block down the street there is what looks like an old street that you can access the trail.Small very walkable path in a small neighborhood park.Lools to have been really nice in its day, then kinda let go.The positive is that it's making a comback.Good place for photography, some wild life and graffiti.

Went today so my son could practice driving a bit.. soon as I drove to the back of the park there was a super creepy vibe.. bunch of men just sitting in their cars eye balling each other. Something not right going on in this park

The parents of the children that practice or play ball at this park should be fined the highest fine for littering everytime they visit and use this park, they just drop anything on the ground and even clean out their cars onto the parks grass and parking areas. The litter has become a very large problem in this park. And the parents are more to blame than the children. Please have police go there when a game or practice is going on to fine the litter bugs for the damage they cause to the park and creek with all this litter.

Great place, quiet, clean, fresh air and with a lot of space to social distancing. Due to pandemic it’s quite empty, but it’s still a lovely place to hung out. If I have a cup of coffee and my book, I can spend entire day here!

It's just a couple large open field and I guess a small trail in the back, but I didn't go there. This is a park of last resorts really for us. Plenty of space for playing some catch, pickup soccer, throwing the football around. But not much else to do for kids or adults. It is a well known cruise spot FYI, especially in the back of the park. Would-be customers park there, then sit in their cars waiting for a pre-arranged "date" or for a walk-in session. Some drug activity also happens mixed in with the solicitation. In late summer and early fall then again in early spring it does get crowded with youth sports who use the fields for games and practices. I'm glad to see it gets use for this purpose. And while it would be nice to put some play equipment or something there, I guess sometimes you just need an open field and a ball. Not everyplace needs to be a Magic Mountain.

Mostly just a open field. No play equipment for the kids (promote a bit of creativity and imagination!) nor is there anything as mundane as a walking/running path.(Though you could use the fields, and the driveway.) But if you want to get some friends together for a game of soccer or ultimate frisbee, two open fields await. It can be a bit of a challenge to get out of the driveway when you leave, if you are turning left (North) onto Hamilton rd.

My boyfriend and I went to toss the football because there is so much open land. When we pulled into the back lot, we noticed there were several cars parked with people in them, just sitting there. We tossed the ball and more people would show up to just sit there. A couple people left their cars to walk into the woods, only to come out in less than five minutes and drive away. It had super creepy vibe. Definitely not going back

It is a very secluded park. Very beautiful little park to have a picnic at nice place to walk on small trails. It has a playground for the kids and has a couple of creeks. I would recommend this park to anyone who wants to get away from the world.

  • 3/5 Mellisa N. 1 year ago on Google
Very sad that the bird mural is not kept up anymore. There is graffiti (and not good graffiti) all over it. Otherwise the park is nice and a great ace to walk.

  • 5/5 Max Z. 1 year ago on Google
Glen Echo park is fun, but something needs to be done about the graffiti at the mural.

  • 5/5 Brian B. 1 year ago on Google
It was nice, quite and the trails were clean. It also has a nice waterfall and plenty of places to stop and rest or eat at one of the many picnic tables along the way. All together very nice place for the family.

  • 4/5 Joe B. 1 year ago on Google
The highway is right at the top of the ravine and trash from the highway always gets into the water and park. When it rains hard the runoff from the highway smells like car fluids in the stream. I wish they could filter the water from the storm drains before it goes into the ravine and some tall grasses at the top by the railroad tracks would help stop the trash from entering the park. It is literally the coolest spot in town; on a day that is too hot everywhere else I can usually still walk my dog here.

  • 5/5 Greyson Y. 1 year ago on Google
Cute park down in a ravine. It's more of a short trail than an actual park, but there are both plenty of places to sit, to explore, and so on. It's very nice to walk through the area.

  • 3/5 Schyler B. 1 year ago on Google
This was once a phenomenal park, made interesting by its grunginess a la the Bird Tunnel. I am torn about leaving three stars; there's been an increase in trash on the grounds, and homeless people stay in different parts of the park now, so I feel the location's quality is diminishing, though temporary, I hope.

  • 5/5 Meg N. 11 months ago on Google
Love this spot. We love getting it cr cream and coming here or having a picnic. The waterfall and vernal pool are highlights.

  • 3/5 Bridget M. 6 months ago on Google
The park was really nice, but there was trash EVERYWHERE. My friend and I spent a good amount of time just picking trash out of the creek.
