Growing up Big Run meant sledding after the first decent snow. I hadn't been back to Big Run Park for quite some time and I noticed some improvements. Less trash, grass was mowed, trails weren't overgrown and seemed to be well maintained.

Went here to ride the bike trails. Trails are sketchy. Overgrown foliage, trail not marked. Easy to wander off the trail. Trash is a big problem here. Won't be back!!

Did not try the trail. It is too cold today, but will come back later, when it is warmer. There are several stone picnic tables around the playground area. Must be really fun during summer time.

Met up with a friend to walk here and ended up not getting out of our cars and choosing a different park to walk. Three men in their own vehicles spread around the parking lots were just sitting there with a window down watching people come and go. Didn’t feel safe whatsoever.

Lots of open space to let the dogs run in the back. Love the creek in the back trail and its never crowded. And an amazing trail with a stepping stone walk way inside behind the children's play ground is pretty awesome.

Went yesterday TO WATCH cross country competition my grandson was participating in. Would have been nice if they'd put one or more porta potties back there. Huge park, access road goes deep into wooded area!

Perfect experience for us. Had my dog there and there was minimal other foot traffic.

Went for a hike down the trail by the maintenance area. Ended up at a dead end and had to bushwhack to another trail. Decent park but could use a trail map

Trails were a little muddy, but still worth it.

Wow! what a fantastic park for incline training 😆 The steep hill and gradual assent on the opposite side of the long loop give plenty of fun until exhaustion 😄 I took my bike down and around 4 times, then turned around and did once up the steep side. 😥 Once was enough. Had a blast. I've yet to explore the off-road trails, plenty to discover. Plenty of paved road for bikes or skaters. Great for walking, jogging, pets, and families.

Smaller play ground than there used to be. And picnic tables around playground. Not as many. The trails were pretty clean. The stone steps beyond the bridge some are missing and broken. Take care going up them. Still seems like a safe place to take your little ones to play.

I went here for a hike in nature and loved it! The trails are well defined and properly cared for. The grass in the park was being cut. This place is beautiful. I have never seen a park that houses a police force yet here it is!!

Spent time there meditating and praying 🙏. Nice area to be. Have no little ones. But the playground was kid friendly, And the bathrooms were clean. Very, very, important. I will definitely return again. Thanks for being there. I needed the quiet time.

For winter: FUN PLACE TO SLED! For Good Weather to enjoy outside.. the park is fun for the kiddos! And adults when you want to feel care free and have some carefree fun! But my favorite part is the trail in the woods! It has bridges, rock steps. A beautiful scenery. The perfect walk through nature without getting wore out. It's not a super long walk. It's enough to enjoy it. And almost everytime there are deer hanging out in the field as you drive in/out. It's close to home. And a great place for kids to burn some energy. And adults to relax! There is also a Gym for basketball. Not sure what else they do there.

Trails, an event center, and more deer to wave a stick at, it is a nice park!

Questionable place definitely be careful walking trails or being on the playground. Don’t feel safe or let your guard down just because there is a police station near by. Took over 2 hours for them to help me and I was literally standing in there dispatch office waiting for help. The Columbus police sub station is located within the park lil

I love this park. My dogs are obssessed. Its small usually not too busy during the week. On the weekends there are lots of people(kids, dogs, or parties). Very quiet otherwise. Only downside is its very dirty. (Used codoms in the parking lot dirty) unfortunately this is the west side of Columbus where its asking to much for people to walk a few feet to one of the many many many trash cans or dumpsters. Best part LOTS OF DEER!..and birds. If you enjoy sitting outside or wandering through the woods but aren't an expert this is a good place. Its very hard to get lost (everything goes in a big circle)....if u have kids WATCH THEM!! Definitely some creeps that come time to time. Police station is located at the park entrance ..not sure if this park is considered 420 friendly but I've never been told otherwise, others smoke here and doesn't seem to be a problem for those that keep to themselves.

Would be a nice park if some jerk on a motorcycle wouldn't have blasted music the whole day to the point that you can't even have a conversation with he person next to you. Thought the point of going to a trail and recreational park was to enjoy nature, not drown out the nature sounds with circus music and scare any wildlife that may be there smh

This park is always full of surprises. An abundance of nature in the wild, plant life and animals. There is a party house that can be rented, a police sub station, a full service gym, golf Frisbee stations, walking paths, bicycle path, a few parking lots, and a great place to do some photography. There are public bathrooms in the area, picnic area, and more.

Scenic Trails, multiple levels of hiking and a good pair of walking shoes and you are on your way. There are several areas to sit and take in all the elements and even hug a Tree

Park was nice; visited early Sunday morning and was peaceful- then my car wouldn’t start when my pup n I tried to leave. An extremely nice gentleman in a pickup truck that was pulling into the lot was nice enough to jump me! Such a nice guy- I was starting to panic and he saved my whole day!

Nice small park. Porta potties for restrooms and you can imagine the shape those are in. Trails are nice but there is quite a bit of trash and trees across the trails, nothing you can't walk around or over as made clear by the paths around them. Trails are also not marked which makes it a bit difficult to tell what path to stay on

The best park hands down. They even have the best hills to go sledding on in the winter time.
