This review is mostly about the dog park. Separate areas for large and small dogs. It's a large dog park and the grounds aren't the best. Large puddles can be found in the large dog area, and the last time I was there a golden retriever left coated in mud. But there is plenty of parking, picnic tables inside the dog park, wheelchair accessible, port-o-potty, no running water. Wooded area.

I went to the dog park. It was ok, but there were a few things I didn’t like… 1. The dog park was just mowed and there was large piles of grass everywhere. 2. There were spots that held water, so they were muddy holes. And 3. There was nowhere to get water for your dog… Other than that, it was ok, but I probably won’t go back anytime soon. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Big Walnut is a very nice park. It is a family Park. I recommend it to anyone. That wants to have a good time. I am going again next week. I really enjoy myself there. We had a great time a very nice clean park with a small dog and large dog side. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 was there was no place to get water for the dogs you must bring your own thank goodness I always come prepared! Probably the best dog park I’ve been too so far. Nice big section and a actually separated section for big and small dogs unlike a lot of other parks that either leave a gate open so big dogs can go to the small dog section or parks where one section is closed. This is the best park I’ve been to.

Quiet, dog friendly place, most of the park is out in the sun, there is some shade spots. Nice fenced in area for your dog to play and enjoy him or her self.

This space is beautifully maintained. Sophia gets a great workout running the fences. My friends and I enjoy the nature trails alongside the running streams. In some places the stream resembles rapids! Thumbs up.

People leave a lot of trash and dog poop around, especially in the more open areas of the park. The small basketball area doesn't have hoops. Otherwise it's a decent park with nice forested trails along the water.
