Great State of Ohio campground. Secluded lots for the most part. Level paved pads and paved roads. Close to Marina, beach and other camping amenities. We will return, Ohio DNR knows how to do it. Only couple improvements needed. *Update bathrooms, better playground equipment, increase portable water hookup and add another dump station.

I absolutely love state parks. This one is now on my favorite list. The drive in is beautiful. The check in process is very simple and easy. The staff was very pleasant and the store is stocked well. Campsite host are very nice. Most of the sites are secluded and feel very private. There are others that allow for people traveling together and you can set up as if you are sharing. I love the amount of real estate you get at the state parks as well. The bathrooms are nicer than most state parks. But I believe we were in the loop with the updated showerhouse. The fire pits are a god size and i like the ODNR that are on them. Our site was wel shaded that after the rain our site was still dry. I also, like that they have a tornado shelter. There are several activities that are offered by the state. I would advise you and your family to partake in as much as possible. Several nice trails. The beach could use a little attention but it is still nice. The marina is nice and they have ice cream at the marina store. The children loved this and it is not expensive. Boat dock is nice as well on thecamp side.

Convenience, convenience convenience. This is the best laid out State campground that we’ve been at so far. Having a shower house at the “hub” of each “wheel” of campsites with water at the the end of each “spoke” was great! The showers were a little wonky and starting to show age. The roomy campsites are spaced perfectly enough for privacy. The campground was full this weekend but we hardly noticed. We’ll be back!

Perfect place to do the camping over the weekend or for a week in summer. They got camping places for RV’s and tents. They have got restrooms and showers. The restrooms are clean and neat. Big kids playground and best thing is all the campground are inside the forest near the water. They don’t have easy access to waters.

We love to camp with our kids and grandkids. We do a lot of the state parks-6 scheduled in 2023. Delaware was nice but one of the gate attendants was pretty rude but the other ones more than made up for her. Loved the biking, free mini golf and spacious camp sights. They did a nice job of mowing also. Somebody left all the Men’s showers on all night and there was a campsite with an overload of people and a group of sites a family and adult kids that their dogs were never leashed and were on our site about seven times once making a deposit-I can’t believe some people. They also had a number of planned activities for families. Plan on no cell service once off the highway-at least with Verizon. I never saw any camper hosts in the 7 days we were there but a nice lady cleaned the restrooms regularly. Leashed dogs and more cell service would get Delaware five stars from me.

Wonderful park and campground. Quiet, peaceful, clean. Love the dog parks! No cell phone service though.

Nice campground. Very clean. Well maintained hiking trails. Whoever thought gloss paint on a bathroom floor was a good idea is the funniest person on Earth. Also, none of the shower doors close in the first Camp Circle's bathhouse. Overall not bad!

Amazing customer service from Gage! He helped me figure out exactly where I wanted to camp for my daughters first camping trip and I'll definitely be calling back to set up some reservations soon! Hopefully he gets some brownie points for being awesome! 😜

Can't say enough good things. Ladies at check in went above and beyond after I learned I forgot to check out online so I actually didnt reserve sites. Campsites are extra large. Love this campground

We stopped in to check out the campgrounds while we were visiting the State Park. The staff at the campground office were very friendly and accommodating. The campgrounds were clean and very well kept. The sites were semi private with plenty of shade. The roadway and pads were paved and most of the sites were good size and level with electric hook ups, picnic table and a fire ring. They had a large restroom shower facility and a wonderful little miniature golf course. Looks like a fun place to camp.

Large, private spaces with quick access to clean bathrooms. Perfect layout for biking the whole camp. I would recommend a cul de sac spot for those with young kids, simply because the center is grassy and large enough for kids to run around safely and conveniently within eyesight.

Very helpful staff at the entrance office. Beautiful campground and very well maintained. Electric Power is available at each camp site. Picnic table and fire ring per site. Ample number of Hot showers and flush toilets. The town of Delaware OH is about 10 minutes away from the campground if you need supplies, gas, or a bite to eat. Much more... but I don't want to tell all

Very nice well layed at park. Gorgeous park the noise from 23 is loud however still worth it. The park manager Betty is à wonderful lady and loves her park. Camp host and the regular campers came to my aid when i was attacked by dogs from another camper. ODNR is very present at this location so the rules are inforced which helps everyone including nature. Thank you Betty for helping me over the phone to come visit your park.
