How
do
you
think
the
staff
has
taken
care
of
your
loved
one?
Variable.
Most
of
the
staff
took
care
of
our
loved
one
with
competence
and
much
care
but
not
all.
Has
there
been
anyone
who
has
gone
above
and
beyond
in
giving
care?

How
do
you
think
the
MedOne
doctors
&
Riverside
Blue
Pulmonary
Group?
MEDONE
-
Bessas,
Shim,
Vanegas
=
good,
others
okay.
A
lot
of
the
time
they
round
before
visiting
hours
begin
so
unless
you
have
specifically
asked
to
see
them
or
you
get
a
recurring
doctor,
it's
very
likely
that
you
might
never
see
them.
While
in
High
Observation
for
about
a
month,
we
only
saw
the
hospitalist
docs
a
few
times.
RIVERSIDE
PULMONARY
-
never
saw
them
round
in
person
and
we
were
always
here
10A-8P,
so
they
came
before
we
were
allowed
to
be
with
our
loved
one.
In
reading
the
notes,
it
seemed
like
they
were
copied
from
the
day
before,
at
times
not
accurately
reflecting
what
we
observed
in
the
last
10
hours.
SPECIALISTS
-
okay
as
needed,
most
do
not
round
to
speak
with
you.
The
only
specialists
(and
we
needed
a
few)
that
we
spoke
with
was
the
Kidney
specialists.
Murithi
was
our
loved
one's
main
doctor
and
he
REGULARLY
rounded
for
our
loved
one.
Even
when
not
rounding,
he
would
stop
us
in
the
hallway
and
ask
for
update.
When
he
was
out,
he
had
the
doctor
covering
Boateng
to
round
on
her
and
he
was
also
very
thorough.
How
was
Therapy?
All
of
the
therapists
are
competent
and
helpful.
Most
encouraging
and
patient.
Stephanie,
Sarah
and
Abby
were
the
best.
Sarah
took
extra
time
talking
and
encouraging
our
loved
one
and
advocated
for
the
best
possible
outcomes.
It
was
best
for
our
loved
one
to
have
consistency.
So,
seeing
the
same
faces
(mostly)
were
helpful
in
doing
their
best.
Would
you
recommend
the
facility?
If
you
really
NEED
a
long
term
acute
care
hospital,
it
is
okay.
But
if
you
have
other
options,
do
compare.
Of
the
overall
experience
-
what
could
be
changed
to
make
this
a
better
hospital?
-Consider
expanding
visitation
hours
-Consider
expanding
visitor
limitations
(2/room)
-Checking
in
on
patients
more
often,
we
were
here
EVERY
day
-10A-8P
and
sometimes
went
HOURS
without
seeing
anyone.
-When
a
patient
can't
use
the
call
light,
without
family,
they
would
need
MORE
regular
checking
up
not
LESS.
-
When
a
patient
is
on
a
pure
wick
and
not
fully
aware/restless,
they
should
be
checked
on
more
often.
It
should
never
be
acceptable
for
long
term
sitting
in
urine
or
feces.
-
When
a
call
light
is
pressed,
it
should
not
ever
take
up
to
to
an
hour
to
be
answered.
-
A
better
system
for
finding
help,
when
the
family
walks
up
and
down
the
hallway
for
assistance
and
can't
find
anyone,
there
should
be
options.
How
did
the
patient
advocate
do?
Pretty
good.
I
think
it
would
have
been
helpful
to
have
more
communication
when
we
started
that
we
WOULD
have
a
patient
advocate,
what
to
expect
from
a
patient
advocate
and
what
we
could
ask
of
them.
There
were
times
there
were
incidents
when
they
were
not
around
that
seemed
a
moot
point
by
the
time
we
were
able
to
chat
again.
However,
I
appreciate
that
we
were
checked
on
at
least
weekly
and
asked
if
we
needed
anything.
