I read some of the reviews on here (the not so good ones) and I totally disagree. I had lost my health insurance suddenly and unexpectedly a few years ago and I had never been without insurance. Instant panic. I’m on life sustaining medication so I was sure I’d just die. Luckily I had a friend who led me to Lower Lights Christian Health Center. And Although the office was extremely small. They made it work smoothly and have since then relocated to a much larger space . I went for my appointments at the office connecting to Mt. Carmel West Hospital. It was very nice and the exam rooms were better than the two previous offices that were NOT Government funded. This office and its physicians kept me up to date on ALL exams as my health called for them and were more thorough then any other doctor I had been to. I always got an appointment easily , always emergency call backs from the doctors. I am very impressed with how the staff runs that over there. I personally recommend people to them all the time. If anyone is considering them I strongly encourage it. Those are really good physicians that care and show it. Tammy Duncan-Escobedo

I have been a patient here for over 20 years. This place has fallen apart, nurses don't communicate. When I arrived and was checking in the receptionist told me I was 5 min late and couldn't be seen, I told her I had been in line waiting to be checked in for over 10 min. At which point she starts speaking Spanish to a coworker and rolling her eyes. When I received my discharge papers I was given someone else's paperwork. My doctor requested a revisit in 6 months the front desk tells me they are not allowed to schedule that far out and I will have to call back in 3 months. Hope I remember. Worst case I run out of medicine get sick and pass away. Oh well they don't seem to care here anymore. Unprofessional is an understatement this place is being ran like a day care not a medical facility.

When I arrived I talked to Sarah Johnson she made me feel very uncomfortable and didn’t help at all. Was very rude this not a place for anyone to go too I wouldn’t recommend for anybody to go here they need all new doctors there I’m not from around here either that was the worst experience ever.

Really wanted to like this place. My wife and I first came for her pregnancy, needing a low income option. We had so many problems. So hard to get a hold of anyone over the phone, in office staff was problematic to deal with, needed personal records and had so many issues getting them. The worst part was the charges for simple procedures. Our labs were nearly $1000 OOP after insurance because of the way they billed them, called a different doctor and they were able to provide the same exact tests significantly cheaper.

(Manner was never resolved and I found a new doctor. Edited: February 21)Called multiple times the wait is usually 30min or more. Left a call back number so I didn’t have to wait and still nothing after 4hrs later. This is a joke. You need to hire more people if you can’t even pick up the phone. I don’t know how I’m supposed to reschedule or reach my doctor without driving to the building itself and that’s ridiculous. Might just look for another doctor if this is not resolved in a timely, professional manner.

Terrible place! Don't go here for any service mental or medical. They refused to help me and actually kicked me off their therapy and psychiatry services after months of seeing them. You're better off finding a place that actually cares because they definitely don't.

Didnt prescribe correct dosage of antidepressants didnt call in all meds. Called staff to request all meds not at pharmacy. To long for appointment and antidepressant ran out bc I took my correct dosage have to wait 3 weeks for appointment to long of a wait had to go to ER for med refills.

Very Rude in the billing department. Don't give you any information on your bills, don't send bills so you always get a surprise bill when you show up to your appointment. I said I'd like a record and they respond we don't have any updates and we can't send you a bill. Always a run around one person says I don't have any bills then another says I have to pay a bill. NOTHING BUT CROOKS!

I have nothing but gratitude for Lower Lights. I needed affordable Health Care and wanted it located in one location. Patients need to ask the questions and take an active Role in Healthcare. I always get answers to question. I am full of them. These people are professionals and are busy. It's great to feel I am part of a team with my own Healthcare.

I am getting treatment since 8 years, the NP are really nice and professionals. The management is really very slow and unprofessionals. I am unable to get my medication on time. I am a diabetic/blood pressure and mental health patient. I visited my doctor yesterday and today I am unable to get my Insulin pens because my insurance CareSource did not receive my right dose of insulin. Now Kroger pharmacy says Sorry, we can not refill, you have to wait. Now I will be staying 2 days without insulin.

I made my appointment for my COVID vaccine online and the process was fast and easy. Once I got to the place to receive my shot, things moved quickly and efficiently. Everybody was very nice and they staff explained things to me. They scheduled me for my follow up shot. The whole process took about 20-25 minutes which includes the 15 minutes you have to wait to make sure you don’t have a reaction. Overall, it was a great experience!

Do not go here I waited a month and a half for a appointment and when it was time for my first time over the phone appointment nobody called and when I called to remake another appointment I was told it would be two more months before they could get me in Joyce Duddy is a lier saying she called me when she never did worst Doctors I’ve ever herd of

I truly love the care this hospital gives you among the amazing staff treatment and kindness. I’m so thankful for Dr. Elizabeth Young, her nurses Edna and Annette. I’m always taken care of by those ladies they answer my questions accurately and quickly. Extremely professional. I recommend them for OBGYN. Love this office and the staff! I started coming here about a year ago and it's the best decision I could have made fory health. From day one the whole staff has been nothing but friendly and personable. From the receptionist to the nurse practitioner, they all are professional yet compassionate at the same time. Excellent experience! I take care of my mother & it’s been very difficult getting her the help she needs. Today with Dr. Singh & his intern, I was finally heard & am going to be getting my mom the help she needs! Even the receptionist was great! I googled Free clinics. This is NOT free. The service I requested would be quick and very easy. I just needed a Dr to take my temp and pulse and wright a note.

I really like my provider! However support staff sucks very difficult to get in touch with provider, have to wait on hold for a long time and hard to get into provider quickly. There could be some sweets that would make this place better.

They are completely irresponsible, they don't care about your health, I`ve been waiting for three months for my glasses and with their hand on their waist they only know how to say that my glasses aren't ready I've been waiting for them since October but it is my fault for trusting them as an eye clinic. They play with you, they play with your life, which is not correct, they should value more those who place trust in them, they blame the laboratory but I blame them because if the laboratory is not doing what it should put pressure because at the end of it day the indicated ones are you

Just received my first vaccine dose at the State Street address. Every staff member was was courteous, friendly, attentive and it ran like a well oiled machine. There was no wait for my assigned appointment time which made me very happy. Excellent experience and excellent staff. Would highly recommend!

I haven’t even been there yet but I had an apt. And it was canceled for a month later, so the next month with the directions I was given couldn’t find the place so I called while I was still on west side and she said “your apt. Was canceled anyway”. I said who canceled it because it wasn’t me and no one called I told me or left a message! So I missed work for nothing. Then I asked well where is ur building because I was told it was across from nursing school but all I see about s parking garage? And she said well you have to walk in!! Amazing some Peale can be so stupid. Not sure I even want to go to the next apt. She maid another month away. This is not professional at all. Rosemary

I'm currently in the waiting room. I've been here for 1 hour and 30 minutes just for a nurse to give me a pregnancy test. Another man was complaining he was here for an hour and nobody had called him. I'm getting upset. All I needed was the depo shot at the pharmacy.

Do not go to this clinic (cleveland ave)if you are trying to get medical clearance to get a surgery or any medical related issues I went here they did all my exams everything was normal but the doctor won't give me the go/clear m to get my procedures done. He knows everything was fine with me. Now I can't get my procedures done he made loose all this time when i could go to another clinic he should said from the beginning he was not going to sing the medical clearance form.His reason he doesn't want to be responsible is something happen to me but this is not about that he see everything is normal and fine with me that clearance is just saying he didn't find nothing and I'm good to get my procedure done not about he being responsible. Worst clinic ever they don't even know how to type your name put the wrong dates on the paper work is just a mess won't recommended going here.

I called for an obgyn to get my first ultrasound done. I only called because this place was recommended to me. I was put on hold for a couple minutes without them saying anything or asking if it was ok. Then I was told that my first appointment would be in September (way past 8 weeks) and that it would be a tell health appointment????? Make it make sense, because I can’t. I can’t even cancel the appointment because when I call it goes straight to voicemail.

I'd leave a no star review if it was possible. They changed my appointment THREE times then said I HAD to have an appointment to have a jury duty deferral signed by my doctor. Jury duty is in early September. I can't see my doctor until late September. The check in woman, Lynn, was EXTREMELY rude and didn't seem to understand what was going on. And, DEFINITELY, doesn't understand how a calendar works.

Had a scheduled appointment 2 months in advance and even managed to show up early to still wait 2 hours after my appointment time before they could see me. During that time, I witnessed several patients arrive after I did and saw every one of them get seen and leave. I had to take a half day off to make this appointment and spend $60 out of pocket just to have them waste my time to not even see an actual clinic doctor. I would understand the wait time if I was a walk-in patient, but there is no excuse if I was scheduled TWO MONTHS in advance AND showed up early. They tried to apologize, but I don't see myself returning to this clinic anytime soon (if at all).

They have let me down. I explained my refill timing and they did not refill important meds on time. Which made me crash from anti depression anxiety meds immediately stopped. . That was a disaster for me.

Very caring staff from start to finish.. they have alot of resources. Faith based which I s optional. Can get a appointment very quick unlike most drs. Every one is super friendly

I have been a patient of Lower Lights Health for over 8 years and I can't believe I haven't taken advantage of their pharmacy until now. The amount of money I pay for my prescriptions is lower than ever before. They even helped me get my prescriptions at the lowest possible cost when my insurance wouldn't cover them. I feel cared for, listened to, and safe when I go to Lower Lights Health. I would recommend this office to anyone looking for a new primary care provider. The other services available to their patients only make it better.

I will definitely give 5 🌟. From the reception this Lady is so kind she was able to answer all my questions and start the process . I was a new patient with the papers and everything we were done in less than 10 minutes. was able to meeting the Doctor. The clinic is so clean the People there are so friendly. I loved the service. Highly recommended 👍 for clinical needs.

I found Lower Lights after loosing insurance. They helped me find coverage and have always been friendly and helpful.

They do the best they can as Providers they get you in and out on your appointment scheduled time I think they're very professional they are bilingual in many ways

You can never reach this place, it takes you to a call center and they're lucky to email your doctor this is b*******
