Not a great place but if you like walking, enjoying nature, you can definitely go here. I come from North Carolina, which is surrounded by mountains so there were many options for hiking, jogging, trekking. But here in I am still finding options 🀧. Hoover Mudflats Boardwalk, not a great one but not so bad.

Very cool to walk on the boardwalk. Most people are fishing at the front part of the pier. So if you walk towards the end, it will be a lot more quiet and beautiful.

An awesome boardwalk that stretches out into the reservoir. Not a long boardwalk but it offers some amazing views of wildlife and of the reservoir. We spotted a dozen ducks, including a mother with her 5 little ducklings which my 2 year old loved to see. Not much parking with about 12 spaces, so if there's a lot of fishermen out on the pier, lot will fill out fast.

Love coming here. It's a short little boardwalk maybe like a quarter mile long. Nice little walk to see the hoover dam area. They have osprey nesting and a bunch of other birds in the area so it's a great spot to go bird watching. Nice to just sit and enjoy the area too.

Nice to visit the boardwalk. You can go all of the way out and see where the Ospreys are nesting which is awesome. A lot of people fishing so it was a little messy and hard to walk through them. But worth a stop.

Nice walk, sometimes a bit crowded trying to walk the beginning part of it with all the Fisher men and women-always friendly though. Wish there were bench seats at the 2 widened places to sit and watch the view for a while.

A really cool place with a boardwalk that goes about 1500 feet into Hoover Reservoir. Great views of the water and of migrating birds. I'll definitely come back in the fall when they lower the water level to provide a better habitat for the migrations.

Not a destination, but a quaint walk in a natural setting to observe numerous birds nesting, floating or soaring. Boardwalk is wide, clean and long. A fun place to walk and observe before or after a visit to the town square of Galena. Bring binoculars if you want to see some nesting birds up close!

This is a great little secret place. The boardwalk could use some renovation but it's a nice place to get away and relax or take a date on. Fantastic views and a good atmosphere. One of my favorite places to spend some quiet time at!

The boardwalk is one of the hottest fishing spots in Galena. Whether wading or fishing off the boardwalk itself, there are plenty crappie and bass to be caught. I'm not much of a bird watcher, so I can't comment from that perspective. I only know it as a great fishing spot.

Nice peaceful place for a stroll or a little fishing off the boardwalk. It can get relatively busy at times.

It was closed... assuming for the winter season. We will see in spring! Looked to be quite small from the GPS view. Comes to a dead end about a half mile or less out. I do assume due to the signs that its a very good area to bird watch for Ospreys especially. My rating was due to no real postings about the closure other than at the closed gate they locked to the boardwalk. If I return and enjoy, I'll update my review!

πŸ‘πŸ‘ We are RT 66 fans and really enjoyed seeing all the cars in Galena! Very small town without much to do, but well worth a drive through to look! When we arrived, the actual Cars on the Route store looked permanently closed, but you can still see all the cars on the outside.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ I LOVE this place. Nature is my church, water is my element, and this place just brings so much peace, adventure, exploration, serenity, crystal clear waters, nature trail, and a CAVE! Although, apparently everyone else loves it too, because it is always busy!!
