Best place to spend time in Columbus downtown. The river side walk path and the river and the downtown buildings gives a good ambience for late night walk or evening run/walk. There are public parking spaces around these places for parking and you could walk to the fountain area where you could see kids playing at the fountain.

This fountain is located in downtown Columbus and is a wonderful place to bring kids on a summer day. There are actually three types of fountain here where kids, and adults, can play around and cool off. The long stretch with jets of water shooting up from the ground is the most popular and there are children of all ages splashes around. There was someone on duty while we were there reminding kids to walk and not run. There are some tables, stone "benches" and plenty of grassy area to sit and relax while keeping an eye on your kiddos. We parked in the lot right across the street for a $10 daily fee

Such an awesome place to spend time with family and friendly. It's just next to the river and everything looks really clean and good. There's one restaurant just next this fountain.

Went here with my 2 year old only to have a mentally disabled adult who's guardian was leaving them unsupervised splashing cups full of water into my baby's eyes. The security guard had to speak to this person multiple times until the cup was finally taken away. If you can't control your disabled child, leave them at home. There are children who can behave themselves and enjoy their time without worrying about being abused by others. Disgusting. Control yourself and your adult MRDD child.

What a great place for families, kids, and people looking to get outside and escape the heat. We took the children and some friends downtown to run around in the sun and play in nearly endless fountains of automated water. The water show that takes place was nearly enough to get me to run through the arches of water. You canโ€™t ask for much more for free entertainment on a hot day; hooray tax dollars and one of the few times I can say glad I donโ€™t live in Cali lol

My 2.5 year old son and I have been in Columbus for a year and a half now. This is easily one of our favorite places to visit when itโ€™s hot outside. It can get pretty crowded and the big kids can be wild with little to no parental supervision. Thatโ€™s the only thing I donโ€™t like.

I, Cleetus do declare this is a fine establishment. If my son Cleetus Jr was alive he would love this place, I miss Cleetus Jr. I shot him in a huntin' accident with some pidgeons. I miss him.

People should really stop playing in the fountain. It's sort of trashy - there are plenty of better ways to cool off, such as swimming in The Scioto.

Great place to have lunch. Or to bring the kids and let them run through the sprinkler system on a hot day. Great view of downtown and the river.

Always a good time when it comes to spending time with the kiddos. Nothing like hearing sounds of kids laughing and playing as they have water fun. Plenty of security on hand, definitely a help.

The fountain is closed but me and my kids go down at night and tent the scooters. It's always a great time. It feels like we have the city to ourselves, definitely recommend

I brought my kids here to play in the fountain/splash park, have a picnic and walk along the river trail. First it is a beautiful place amazing for families, but if you have smaller children as I do I wouldn't go. There is no one policing how the kids act in the water park. Both my 3yo and 1 yo were taken off of their feet and landed on their backs due to being ran down by the older kids running full speed thru the water. Even with them visibly being hurt nothing was said or done besides an automated message set to play every 30 mins about no running. I loved this place but we can't come back for a few years until the kids get bigger if even then. Which is a complete shame because the beauty of this park is unmatched.

Drove far to get here and most of the fountains donโ€™t work. The restaurant/ bar blocked off the stair that went down and connected them to the fountains. They wouldnโ€™t let my disabled mom up the 4 stairs to sit by the bar to get a drink and told her to walk all the way around. So they lost us as a customer and I really wanted an ice cold beer while I watched my daughter in the fountains. Bathrooms are atrocious smelling like pot and filthy.

Worth the trip for a calm and relaxing walk with city line view, tho it seems like Lime scooters are not allowed on the trail or I must have been doing something wrong ๐Ÿ˜
