This place is just beautiful. It's a perfect venue for a concert or hanging out or anything. The lawn is meticulously kept and it's just a very scenic spot.

Beautiful park to relax in middle of busy Columbus. Clean benches under the shade of many trees and a quite side block.

Quiet open green space. It does have park benches around the commons and also the Union Station Arch. I didn't see any restrooms.

Arch from former downtown train station moved to this park. Nice size park well shaded and plenty of benches. Easy to walk around park. Park is across from Blue Jackets hockey arena.

I've been in Columbus since 1961 i am 58 yrs old the photo me was last year. Columbus has changed from a one cent pony town. To a vibrant mecca of specialized shops. Music so good from neck of the woods its impossible to keep up. We have are ups and downs homelessness has grown but its being dealt with frantically and carefully. The homeless are vibrant and weary but they are survivors. Some industry have changed Columbus. Downtown is a wonderful to be McPherson Commons Park is a fine example Mayor Coleman left as he finally retired from the mayorship after 12 beautiful long years. When you see the high rises all over Columbus you'll see Mayor Coleman. I met him last year panhandling for a sick friend. I also gave him money. I was amazed how he shook my hand and gave me money😲πŸ₯΅πŸ˜‚i was truly happy to meet the man who gave Columbus a superior shot arm. Enjoy us,live with us. You'll love what you'll see πŸ˜‰

Large greenspace just East of downtown and North of the river. Good place to meet up ahead of a hockey, baseball, or soccer game. Also seems to be a good place for families that live in the area. When we were there, lots of folks with kids, a group playing Frisbee, and others just hanging out enjoying the day.

Great place to host an outdoor event. Convenient parking and near the river with great views of the city. We were there for Leukemia and Lymphoma Light the Night event

One of the best parts of my commute is passing this monument in the arena district. McFerson commons park has this epic train station arch that really showcases the rich history of the city. There are a lot of great restaurants and shops in the area, which makes great for outta town visitors looking for a great evening out. Nationwide Arena home of the Blue Jackets Hockey Team is just a cross the street so there's always something going on around here. So come prepared to have a great time whenever you're in the area

Massive tent city directly across from the park. Panhandlers dodging the community security or half passed out on someone's steps Park is lovely otherwise.

Beautiful park in the arena district. I was there for Fashion Meets Music Festival and there was a large COTA installation. Pretty neat!

A great green space to watch the world go by. Located in the middle of the busy city of Columbus, this small yet perfectly sized common is a haven of peace.

A Arena District favorite of mine. I am simply hooked on this area. I relax in McPherson Commons here. It's a majestic place with upscale condo apartments. Surrounded by Huntington baseball stadium. And Blue Jackets Hockey stadium. And many eateries and sports bars. EnjoyπŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘

Great for events like LSS Light the Night walk!

I think that this is a nice park! Unfortunately, it came at the cost of demolishing the beautiful historic train station. Columbus has ultimately decimated its historic building collection. However, the grass is green here. I'd complain but who'd listen!
