I really liked the village (better than the indoor history canter). It is August and hot with high humidity, so going in most of these old buildings you have to be prepared for no heat or air flow..They all are set up wonderfully to depict the time period. The people that work in each building are fabulous at staying in character. My favorite was an older black lady in the Murphy house. She was a great actress and was also really funny. There is a Emporium that sells some gifts and is a candy store. Some of the candies I remember eating as a kid 40 years ago. Brought back some fun childhood memories. The church had beautiful stain glass windows and the hotel (air conditioned) had a tiger with an interesting story.

If you are a history buff like me, and you happen to be in Columbus - do yourself a favor and visit. Ohio Village is included in the admission to the museum, and the town is laid out fully for you to examine and explore at your own pace - with assistance from staff who act out as if they’re currently living in the 1800’s, answering questions you may have and giving you lots of general information. We came late in the day and when some of the staff were on vacation, but the people who were still there were very enthusiastic and seemed happy to show us around. We didn’t have time to explore everything but we saw what we could in the hour we were there. I had a great time and would definitely go back. It’s such a neat little trip back into history.

Had our wedding here and it is the best venue ever! Loved the church, reception space and the coordinators made our day stress free. They were great to work with and so kind! An affordable venue with character.

Visited the village today for coffee fest. Had 26 different coffees. Tried them all and got sick. I'm talking hangover, destroying 70's pavement along the way home. I don't regret a thing, I just can't have coffee for a while. Anyways awesome place to have festivals and visit

This was my first time visiting the Ohio village! I had no idea this existed until earlier this year, so I had anxiously been waiting for it to reopen. This was a 10/10 fun to spend a Saturday, kudos to all the employees

Haven't been to the Ohio Village in years! We volunteered the other day and the staff there were extremely helpful and kind. Lots to do for the families also.

I have volunteered here for a few events, and it's always been a positive experience. It is very family friendly and the history buffs they have as docents and actors are very much into their craft, so you will find out interesting details about the time period and usually do a fun activity as part of your learning experience.

We have been to the All Hallows Eve event several times before covid. Went tonight and still my family had a good time. The food stands were really good but prices were crazy. It says it's wheelchair accessable. Well that was proved wrong tonight. My 12 yr old has a hard time walking around due to health issues, so we took her wheelchair. I had a very hard time pushing her around in the gravel and almost all of the ramps I had to make her stand up to get her chair over the bumps. We got to watch the telling of Sleepy Hollow. I remember it be a lot better in the past years. All in all the kids still enjoyed it.

We experienced the Halloween historical presentations. The Headless Horseman story time was wonderful to experience near a giant roaring fire. I hope they continue to do this and add more fun for us to experience next time we visit.

He took the time while he re-keyed our new house making sure we liked the look of each fixture. He did a great job and was great at explaining what he was doing. We'll keep them in mind for future locksmith needs!

Attended annual Halloween event and it was a great experience. Since it was raining sporadically the crowd was lower than expected. Admission was free for us since we are members so I am not positive about the cost.

My mother recently was interested in getting a small pickup vehicle. We were greeted by David who helped us look at some Gladiators. David was great in explaining the features and making sure we understood the vehicles capabilities. Considering my mom was not 100% sure on what she wanted, David helped tremendously in helping her narrow down the items he did and did not want in her new vehicle! Thank you David for being so patient and helpful!

My family went for the all hallows eve event and it was very busy. I could tell it was geared toward younger audiences in some parts. The lights were on at a stadium nearby so there wasn't really that dark. The retelling of the legend of sleepy hallow was the main event and was very good. Actors were there and riding horses, including the headless horseman.

We went for All Hallows Eve and honestly, pretty meh. The sad part is that this had so much potential to be great. There were just actors kind of standing around, and a bunch of exhibits of criers and funerals. Nothing really scary or even spooky. There was not one good truck I recognized and it seems they no longer do the headless horseman reenactment. It’s just a story telling. Thankfully the tickets aren’t badly priced but I won’t be back.

Annual Xmas Dinner-VIP assistance due to handicap, had the perfect seating placement for restroom access. The menu was fine, portions more than ample/ two suggestions are the use of cloche domes to keep dinner plate hot, and guarantee the Dickens carolers to appear. book early for brunch, as we did several yrs ago. Price went up, payment due at booking, so be prepared to spend over $115 for two at brunch, more for dinner.

I went here for the Columbus Coffee Festival and will go back just for the village soon. I enjoyed the historic buildings, and the venue was amazing to host this festival!

Was here for the 2022 Columbus Coffee Festival - got to taste plenty of good brews - Tinker from Indy was the highlight - also got to meet a Coffee Brewer with the same last name as me - too cool!

This place is amazing! The historic buildings and wooden walkways make any festival come to life. I went for the coffee festival so they complimented the many roosters and rooster/shops.

Great historical village with a nice museum on Ohio history. We went for the coffee festival which was wonderful for any coffee lover with over 30 coffee stations and several food trucks. The winter village is also delightful for a traditional, historic Chirstmas celebration.

This place is awesome! all the NPCs are so friendly and nice. I had lots of questions and they answer perfectly. They know their roles and act well in this small village set up. I want to give them more money to support this place.

Ohio Village is always a great place to visit. It's truly like a step into the 1890s. You can buy candy at the candy shoppe and talk to the town journalist. So much fun!

We attended the Dickens Christmas event, which started with a fabulous buffet brunch at the American Hotel on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at 11am. Went with our neighbors, and had a great time. Always fun watching the kids participate in activities like making ornaments or decorating cookies that were practiced a lot in the past. We go every year.

Great place to visit. My kids loved the history. Most of the "townspeople" were very engaging, especially the teacher in the church. A few talked above the kids heads and rambled a bit.

Fun family historical adventure. Tucked in right between the state fairground and the freeway, this little village was a great learning experience for my kids and myself.

-Nice to have gradual reopening. Limited time stamped tickets helped spread out visitors and felt safe with our masks. -Take out lunch from the Emporium was delightful under blossoming the trumpet vine arbor.

Went with the whole family. Loved all the old-style buildings and characters in period costume. Goes quick if you don't stay and chat with the "actors". Lots of cool artifacts, etc. Enjoyed the visit but a more active town scene would be cool.
