Love our Central Ohio Metro Parks! Today I took my grandson for a sunrise picnic and stayed for the play structures. We intended to watch sunrise from the tower, but came in the wrong entrance. Lacking time to return to that entrance, we watched from just beyond the dog park. The picnic tables there were handy, and he liked seeing the dogs. We will definitely return to watch from the tower another day!

Great park lotta stuff to do there. Plenty of room to hike. They have a wind and solar display. There’s a dog run area there’s a playground and plenty of hiking trails. There’s a boardwalk with the scenic overlook where you can look out over marsh.

One of our favorite parks to visit. There are two areas of the park, one is the Honda Wetlands Shelter area and the other is the main park. Both are beautiful and so much fun. The Wetland shelter area has the shelter with an area to look out over the pond. There is a scenic overlook you can walk up to view the whole park. The boardwalk is gorgeous. The main park area has a great playground, a wooden obstacle course, a fitness course, disc golf, a dog park, and plenty of trails. Both areas have restrooms, which were clean (no water to wash hands currently, but they did have hand sanitizer). Very clean and well maintained. Plenty of parking at both areas.

This has quickly become one of my favorite metro parks in the Columbus area for birding. The diverse landscape from open fields to forests to marshes allows for a wide variety of birds. I love taking my bike and stopping at various hot spots along the way. The trail is so scenic for biking and there are some really great stops to catch the sunset!

We visited the park for the first time today for a birthday party. It was great. They have a lot of tails for walking and biking. The play equipment for the kids was different than what you see at other parks. They had a lot of fun. It also has a large dog park. We also checked out the obstacle coarse for kids and adults. It was fun and a good workout.

Great place for a brief hike! Very clean and everyone is really nice. If you to check out the lookout tower, it’s in the Honda wetlands part because there are two parts to this park.

Very nice metro park. It has quite a few trails. Most trails are paved. This park is very well maintained and has something for basically everyone. The amenities are many and is also connected to The Honda Wetland Education Area.

I am new to Ohio and loved my first two visits. The park is beautiful and has wonderful trails. The large fenced in dog park is incredible, with a wooded area and agility course. I only have one complaint and that is for the multi use trails. Not just Glacier Ridge but other parks I have visited in Columbus. Visitors riding bikes come up behind you, very fast sometimes, and give no courtesy warning they are approaching/passing. This is the first place I have lived where bicyclists don't give a courtesy warning. Please don't get me wrong, I have no problem with people riding bikes on the trails. I just kindly ask that they remember that the trails are "Multi-Use" trails and to please consider walkers, that may not even realize you are behind them, and give a courtesy warning. It's just common courtesy and shows respect for ALL visitors of the parks.

Glacier Ridge is one of the newer Metro Parks and grows in natural scenery each year. The observation deck at the Honda wetlands is a true gem. The 2 main sections of the park are connected with a paved trail. Enjoy the view!

Wonderful little metro park tucked away. Some nice trails for biking, running, and walking. There is a very nice 18 hole disc golf course but be warned it can get a bit muddy.

Extremely cool place for being absolutely free. The whole place is clean and maintained. We loved it and I'd like to go back again. There's something for every age from very young child to adults. Highly recommend!

I ❤️ this park! It has a little bit if everything. Natural & your usual playground for kids, a challenge course to wear out the kiddos or test your abilities, scenery & factoids to enrich your mind. Plus, trails for hiking & biking!

Glacier Ridge Metro Park is absolutely beautiful. It is well maintained. There are a lot of activities that your family will enjoy especially the obstacle course. My children and I did the obstacle course twice. I definitely broke a sweat. My children loved both playgrounds. I loved how the play grounds are built!! We also took a walk on the trails. It was so peaceful. I highly recommend going to visit the park.

Love this place! Favorite place to run, walk, watch nature, picnic, let kids play on the playground, ride bikes, rollerblade, and so much more! I drive an hour just to regularly run at this park. It's well worth the time to go to Glacier Ridge!

Can not believe this is 21 years old. Feels like it just opened. Have been going here since it opened. Decent disc golf course. The main paved trail is perfect for walking or bike rides. I like to take my daughter on walks in her stroller.

Fantastic Frisbee golf course and great dog park

  • 5/5 Marsha 3 years ago on Google
Great trails for walking and biking, playground with a small zip line and a obstacle course for adults and children. There is Frisbee golf and a fog park as well. The only downside is there are a lot of ticks. Stay on the paths or spray yourself with some kind of bug spray.

Wish Park was closer to where I live.. however it's worth the half an hour drive. Fun obstacle course for kids and adults and a big wooden climbing playground that's fun for kids. If you were in the biking or rollerblading or running or whatever it seems like a good park for that as well, dog park but I can't comment on it although it looks fairly large. There's also a big windmill there but I'm not quite sure why it's there yet... Looks like it's just a big open field area for maybe doing drone flying or something. Either way if you have kids I recommend this park 100%, and even without kids recommend it 99% unless you're wanting to hike on hills which it has none from what I saw at least in the main part maybe way out on the paths it does

THIS IS PARK IS HUGE WITH A LOT OF BEAUTIFUL SCENERY!! They Have A Hicking Trail (For Both Bike & On Foot) That Does Not Wrap Around The Park.. (You Do In Fact Share It With Deer That Are In Fact Not Scared Of People) 😏 There Is A LOT Of Signs That Say So.. I Just Thought I Would Say This Here Since I Learned This Lesson The Hard Way, My Legs Are Definitely Paying The Now!! 😆

What an amazing place! It's in a beautiful country setting. There is a regular playground, and a very unique playground as well for the older kids. There are ropes and things to climb and a zip line that they thought was amazing. We did not get to the trails but there is a natural play area at the beginning of one of the trails by the playground. It had teepee-like structures made out of logs and a large area for the kids to play back in the woods then. There was also a small area for adults with trapeze type bars for pull-ups and similar exercise moves. There is a dog park play area. And also a very nice size obstacle course. It suggests it is made for children 12 and older but younger kids can do it with adult supervision. We did not get any further than those things because of time but we will definitely come back to this park anytime we are in the area again.

Amazing trails and beautiful wooded areas The dog park itself is also fantastic, with plenty of space for dogs to run around and play. The facilities are clean and well-kept, making it a pleasure to spend time there. Overall, this is an exceptional dog park that is well worth a visit. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful and peaceful place to walk their dog. Amazing!+

We go specifically for the dog park, and it's beautiful! Most everyone there are super responsible dog owners! Friendly atmosphere and I love that dogs can go investigate in the woods!

Not the most visually spectacular of the metro parks, but still really nice. A lot of meadow, and a little bit of woods. A good place for running and biking particularly.

  • 5/5 Brian D. 3 years ago on Google
Awesome metro park. Several trails for walking, running, or biking. A sweet challenge course to run through. Also a dog park area, disk golf course, and play sets for the kids. Clean restroom facilities with flush toilets and sinks. Will definitely stop again.

Great park with lots of things to do. Multiple walking paths around wetlands and tall grass fields filled with tons of wildlife. The disc golf course is half through woods and half through fields in the grasslands.

Had a great walk socially distancing with my family. It was a very comfortable day with very few other people around. Park was very well maintained and park rangers came by often. So we felt very safe and comfortable from others.

  • 5/5 Giovanna L. 3 years ago on Google
The park is great. Lots of beautiful space! The paved trail was perfect for a family walk with our dogs. Well placed benches and trashcans along the walk. There were enough people that you’d see someone every few minutes but not too crowded as to disturb the peacefulness of the walk. Park Rangers were very friendly and stopped to talk with us.

Great park! There is a fair amount of parking here. This site has a dog park. There is a nice playground next to a pavilion. There is wooden climbing structure with tops and nets. They have disc golf as well. There are well maintained walking paths as well. Nice park over all.

This park is awesome! I think most people come here for the big obstacle courses for the kids (which are super awesome!!) I must admit, the first few times I came here , I came for the courses and overlooked the great trails and the epic dog park! Today, I came while my kids were at school and took my dog for a run on the trail. She was such a good girl that I let her play in the dog park. It was huge! There is a nice wooded area, a huge open space and even some doggy obstacles! Be aware that the water faucet is turned off right now, so come prepared with water for your pup to drink after they play hard!

  • 5/5 Mike H. 3 years ago on Google
This is a great park. Trails pop in and out of the woods, there are multiple places for kids to play so they aren't all packed into one spot, and the dog park is fantastic. It has some agility equipment, and is partly in the woods.

Great park for kids to exercise with natural trail with the ninja course.

  • 4/5 Andrea C. 3 years ago on Google
A little too crowded to my liking. But it’s a Columbus Metro Park so it’s wonderful. I just need to find all its books and crannies like my favorite park has, Prairie Oak! Prairie Oaks is just too far of a drive now. You want beauty, peace and serenity? You should def go check out Prairie Oaks in Hilliard.
