This was such a fun experience! We went on the open air bus tour, and some of the animals came right up to our bus. The staff were great with my grandmother who uses a walker. I highly recommend renting binoculars for a better view of animals not by the road.

Highly recommend on going here! It's a long drive from anywhere, but it's worth it. There is no need to spend too much on the different tours, I recommend getting the regular daily tour and to pay for parking online. There is a shuttle from the parking lot over to the main entrance, then you check in and get on the tour bus. Very informative and extremely fun for all!

What a incredible place. My family and I spent the day here and enjoyed it very much. You park in the lower lot and are bused up to the main building. Every seat on the open air buses are great for viewing the animals. The drivers are very friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. The bus safari tour last almost 2.5 hours. Bring sunscreen, hats, camera's, and a something to drink as it does get hot on the buses. You stop along the way and get off to view different exhibits. Besides the safari there is zip lines, private tours, a large gift shop, horse back tours, a restaurant, as well as places to stay overnight. Definitely worth a visit.

Exceeds all expectations. Must visit, out of this world rare and unforgettable experience. Do the slightly pricier but far more intimate wildside tour and you're likely to be able to feed giraffes, per rhinos, be inches from camels and go off the beaten path for the wildest experience ever. Spectacular for kids. Only thing they could improve upon is the cafeteria food options, but then, you aren't here for a good burger.

We had a wonderful time at the Wilds! We took the Wild Side tour, which was amazing! Feeding rhinoceroses & a giraffe by hand is a thrilling experience if you’re an animal lover, like we are. Afterwards, we ate dinner at a special dining room reserved for guests of Nomad Ridge (those having an overnight reservation). I did not have high expectations for dinner after reading the reviews online, so I was very pleased when the quality of the food was excellent. My husband and I had the wild mushroom pasta with cream sauce, and it was very delicious! The couple traveling with us had the steak dinners, and the asparagus and potatoes were perfectly cooked, although the steak was a little overcooked, they said. They must have a new cook because dinner was excellent. They could improve on the dessert and breakfast offerings, however. We stayed overnight in a yurt, which was very comfortable, with fans & good AC. Near the yurts is a outdoor “lobby” with a fire pit, Adirondack chairs, and a wonderful view looking out at animals grazing near the lake below. They had nice touches like complementary hot chocolate & teas, as well as decent wine for purchase. We enjoyed it so much we plan to come back with our teenage kids!

Just visited as a late anniversary getaway for my wife and I and it was absolutely amazing! We did the wildside tour and it's totally worth spending the extra to go off-road and very up close and personal with the animals. Sarah the tour guide was incredible as she was so knowledgeable and made the experience extremely fun. A special shout-out to another tour guide Kelsey as she had to deal with a miserable human being and she stayed nice and professional. There's so many animals that you can get up close to. We were super close to the ostriches, giraffes, and rhinos and got to feed the giraffes and rhinos. Hopefully they can continue to expand and add more animals to make the experience even better but even still it's an amazing experience and would highly recommend.

Very nice place to go individually, or with family. Many large bucks! Multiple different types of animals with variations within the species. Ian was our tour guide, very nice and knowledgeable. They have really neat cottages where you can spent the night in the wild around the animals, in a secure area of course. Don't forget to make reservations for the tour though! They'll work with you, but it makes it easier for their plannig.

We seen it on the Disney+ and really wanted to come visit. We did the sunset safari and it was pretty dope. The animals come nice and close. The rhinos were great. Those friendly long neck giraffes. Would highly recommend.

We stayed in a Yurt #11 this is the only reason I gave it a 3 star. The yurt had mold all over the wood floor and we had ants in our yurt. I can say they came and took care of the ants right away. We loved the package ! We had dinner, breakfast and an open air safari. We also paid for a wild tour safari and it was amazing!! We will come back with our kids. This trip was an anniversary trip.

A fun place to visit. They have really nice animal habitats and the animals seem to be well cared for. We went on the open air tour and I would recommend Wyatt as the guide. He was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the animals. They have options for just about any tolerance. The zip line tour looked fun. I dock them one star because the food options were okay but lacking healthier choices. If you have a zoo membership you can get a decent discount. We’ll be back.

This is a sister park to the Columbus zoo both of which were created by Jack hannah. This is like a drive thru safari, but on a different level. They drive you through and talk you through the park and animals. You are in a vehicle with open sides. You are driving in the fields with these animals with no fences or anything between you and the animals. There are thousands of different animals, some I had never seen or heard of before. Not only were there similar animals as the common road side attractions but there were also rhinos and elephants. This was such a cool and unique opportunity that I encourage anyone to try.

Stayed at the grand yurt at nomad Ridge. Room was comfortable but no information about things to do near such as the butterfly path or that you could upgrade your open air tour, or how to use the heat. Food for dinner was overcooked but dessert was good. Open air tour was fun. Good place for kids to visit.

The open-air safari tour was great. We had the very last open-air tour this season. Our guide Victoria, was full of energy and jokes. She made sure we had a great time, and she provided details about every animal we saw. She made sure we got a good view and enough time to see the animals. The Wilds is huge. We also got to know the research and conservation effort being taken place in this facility. The best time to visit is during the middle of the season to make sure you get to see all the exhibits.

I spent a wonderful week with a group of wonderful women from Mighty Oaks. The Safari was awesome and the animals were cool to see. But spending time by the lake with the ladies every day was wonderful. I was so inspired everyday

My husband and I went on the sunset safari tour this past weekend. We had an amazing experience. Josh was a great tour guide. We got to stop and walk and watch a cheetah feed and was only feet away from all the animals. Such beautiful sights . After the ride we had a delicious buffet style meal that was very good and I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who loves animals. We will definitely go back and stay there sometime.

A great and unique experience for our 15 year anniversary!!! The Open Air Safari was fantastic and our stay in The Grand Yurt provided us the opportunity to continue watching and listening to the animals throughout afternoon, night and the following morning. We'll definitely be back so our children can enjoy the staff hospitality and animals!!

I haven't been here in years, and it was the perfect way to spend my birthday. Seeing the animals in a more natural environment while learning about conservation was an absolute delight. The staff is just full of amazing people, and our tour guide (Rosie) was just wonderful. You could tell she really loves what she does, she cares, and she makes the day all the more joyful. I can't wait to go back

Took my mom and wife to the wilds, it was fun. You know people get worked up about going to the Zoo or a circus but I do not see how anyone can get worked up about this place. With 10,000 acres for wildlife to roam as they please, I think this is great. Since we as humans have done so much to take aware from nature, I think a place like this really helps to showcase to humans the beauty, importance and wonder of all of the animals we have on planet earth. Sure, in a perfect world all animals would roam free all over the world but we do not live in a perfect world and I think this is a great way to showcase all of what nature has to offer. What I found most remarkable is the amount of wildlife that were not bound by fences who chose to make that a home. The bald eagles, deer and other animals that chose this place to live at. If you think about it, if you are a bird or a deer would you rather live here or in a suburb full of humans? Anyway, an awesome place, I highly recommend. The guide was great, the bus trip was awesome.

Had an amazing experience here with my fiancée on September 30th. Paul W was our tour guide and he was fantastic. At one point, he involved the kids on our bus by allowing them to open certain gates. There were lots of animals to see, and there were even some wild bald eagles nesting in one of the trees right on the main route. Super cool place and definitely worth visiting.

We went on the Sunset Horseback Safari and it was a let down. The guides were great but the horses were a little unwieldy, but with COVID-19 shutting down the place for a while, that was understandable as they have not been ridden regularly. That aside, the real issue is that it is a Safari...and we did not see any "animals"! We just expected to ride near where the exhibit animals were. However, the horse back trail was in an area across the street from the Animal Park. Also, it was a "sunset" ride...and we were back about 1.5 hours prior to sunset. So, the Sunset Safari Horseback Ride was missing 2/3's of the tour! I would skip this and just take the truck tour and I am sure you will have a great time. The Wilds looked nice otherwise...just wish we could have SEEN IT!

Absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend the Secrets of the zoo tour. Curt was our guide, he is exactly in person as he is on the show. Just a wonderful man. Answered every question, very polite and approachable. And so was Adam very nice man, he was just walking past us and stopped to chat. Someone needs to teach the kitchen how to make biscuits and gravy and cook a steak for the guests staying in the Yurts. The concierge with the Nomad Ridge was a very helpful and an amazing woman.

Went to The Wilds a part of Columbus Zoo South East of Columbus. Stayed in one of their yurts, wheelchair accessible if your high functioning paraplegic or better. The bed was too high for most wheelchair bound people. The ramp leading into to yurt was in need of some railings and a little fence on the parking pad wouldn't hurt so no one accidentally did not end up down the hill. The food that you are served with the stay in the yurts was horrible. The dinners for all four of us were cold I mean cold and way to much pepper on all of it. The server was great and warmed up all the food but it had so much pepper we couldn't eat it. The breakfast The next morning was also cold and full of pepper. The hash browns were like rubber. The servers were awesome and took very good care of us but I'm sure they were confused that we didn't eat The food. The tours were awesome and wheelchair accessible. Kelsey and Nick (Nicholas) were the best guides. I would suggest you stay in one of the near by towns in a hotel you would be much better off and could have steak every meal as the yurts are expensive for what they offer.

This was an absolutely amazing experience. The staff was all super friendly and helpful. We did the horseback riding (you can not see any of the animals from the ride) and then we did an open air safari. Kris was a great tour guide and we really enjoyed her commentary. Some of the animals came right up to the bus. Incredible experience and we will do it again! Helpful tip, there's no cell reception on the safari, put your phone in airplane mode to save battery.

Our tour guide, Paul, gave us a very pleasant experience. He was very knowledgeable, could point out the animals by name, and answered everyone's questions. We went on a 10:30 tour and although it was chilly it was a good time because it wasn't super crowded and warmed up towards the middle of the day.

The Wilds is an amazing place to see! I highly recommend the sunset safari. You can get very close to the animals while riding in an open air safari bus. Our guide Lois was very knowledgeable and will answer any questions you may have about each animal. The Wilds also has a magnificent breeding program to ensure no species in their care will become extinct.

Bullet points: 1) it takes an hour and a half to drive here from Columbus in good conditions, with almost half of that on back country roads. Don't trust Google maps; follow the directions on the Wilds web site. 2) this ain't the zoo. Parking is rustic, bathrooms and food are sparse, and you're going to be bouncing around in a converted school bus for 2 hours. 3) the landscape is beautiful, and the animals come right up to the bus. Get ready to get real friendly with some Persian Onagers and an Ostrich or two. Watch your fingers. 4) Bring your own drinks and snacks. You won't have a lot of time on the tour to eat, so make it stuff that's easy to cram down in a rush. 5) I'd say 8 years old is the youngest kid that can handle the bus ride and be interested in the format. Younger kids get bored and/or are rambunctious. 6) If you have a zoo membership, get the Wilds add-on. The add-on pays for itself with one visit.

The Wilds is an amazing facility with a great collection of wildlife. Hands down one of the best zoo/Safari that I have visited. The amount of space the animals have is amazing. Such a cool experience I already can't wait to come back!!! Drove 8 hours from Tennessee to come and see this place. After becoming obsessed with secrets of the zoo I just had to come here. The only thing I'm sad about is that I was not able to stay in a yurt because my trip was so on a whim and I'm sad I didn't book the wild side tour because I just wanted to spend more time here! My husband and I did an open air tour and had a blast the scenery was beautiful and it was so amazing to see all of these animals out in the wild. I love how much work is going into the conservation and rehabilitation of the animals and forestation. Even on the open air tour we got up close and personal with some ostrichs that were super interested in us as well as some Persian donkeys who came so close to our tour. We were also lucky enough to watch a 3 day old baby rhino feed with the mama. This was so worth the drive. It's beautiful! I can't wait to come back it's a little bit hidden but look it up and go! You won't be sad about it. And if you don't want to go you can always watch it on secrets of the zoo and donate for the animals. But it's so worth the trip!!

Our guide Chriswas a very upbeat person. It was raining hard for the first half of the trip. Every time we stopped and then started back up, water from the canvas top drenched us. She made it feel like fun and the animals were cooperative the second half of the tour.

We did the Wildside tour which was $150.00 per person. It's a very nice tour and they take you off road to get closer to the animals and pet and feed some of them. The regular tours just stay on the road so there really isn't interaction unless they would walk up to the bus.

Our experience on the Winter Wildside Tour was truly extraordinary!!! We met familiar faces from Secrets of the Zoo, fed 12 different animals including zebras, camel and giraffe. In addition, we spent over 45 minutes meeting and petting various rhinos. I cannot recommend it enough, it was remarkable!!

Just got back from a "Wiltshire Tour" at the Wilds for my wife's birthday and it was a spectacular trip! This type of tour is considerably more cost than the standard tour at the Wilds, but the experience is far superior . We had the opertunity to approach very closely to the animals and even feed some Rhinos and Giraffes. The best part of the tour was the interaction between the tour group and our guide Kelseyville. Her depth of knowledge on the different breeds of animals, their origins, history in captivity, breeding programs and even their names! I've been on many tours all over the country and internationally, but Kellie stood 'head and shoulders" above any other guide I have had.

I had an absolutely amazing experience at The Wilds! I took my fiancé here for his birthday as we love going to the zoo, but have never been here before. We booked the Open Air Tour, which is done on a decent size bus. We saw tons of animals and very close up! Our tour guide, Madison, was very nice. Next we would like to book The Wild Side tour, as we were able to see a truck go by and that looked great! Highly, highly recommend.

This is a wonderful place! We stayed in a yurt #5 overnight, which was very cool. Bed was comfy and it had a bathroom! And a deck with 2 chairs to look out over the savanah! Also included with overnight stay was dinner and breakfast! Which were delicious! A safari was also included but we upgraded to the 'Wildside Tour', which we recommend! It was a pickup truck with comfy bench seats and we got to feed a hippo and giraffe, very cool! The ladies guides were very informative about the all the animals and about the wilds. They do a wonderful job there with conservation of animals and the land. Love this place. Also, at the yurts, they have a large deck with a cool gas fireplace with plenty on chairs to sit and enjoy the scenery and chat with others who rented a yurt. Nice touch !

Super amazing place! They bring a bus to the parking lot to take you to the visitor center to check in. Tour busses are open air. Some of the animals come right up to the bus. They offer a variety of tours, you can horseback ride and also zip line. They take amazing care of the animals. You never know which animals you will see and which will come close. It's a different experience each time. The staff are super nice and informative. Midway through the tour you stop and there is a platform area to see the various carnivores through fenced enclosures and rest rooms. At the end they drop you off at a cafe and gift shop and you can wait for the next bus to bring you back to parking area. They run every 15 min it seems. They have over night lodging as well. Definitely worth the drive.

The Wilds is a wonderful experience. The open air busses [with canopies for shade] and the great breeze at that elevation made for a lovely ride. We saw most of the species, including giraffes - our guide, Alex, was excellent at finding good vantage points & her narration was interesting and fun. The carnivore center was such a nice break in the middle of the tour- we walked around elevated board walks to see Dholes, Cheetahs & African Painted Dogs. Our host at the Carnivore Center, Harley, was also very good @ answering questions and telling us all about the animals. There was also a snack counter for drinks and munchies and restrooms - both welcome in the middle of the 2 hr tour. Learning about the conservation efforts and the history of The Wilds was a bonus [we visited over 25 yrs ago when our kids were toddlers and the progress is nice to see]. All in all, we highly recommend a visit to the Wilds - well worth the tour fee.

The Wilds Conservancy is nestled amidst breathtaking landscapes and offers an incredible opportunity to witness animals in a vast and natural habitat. The expansive pastures provide an awe-inspiring backdrop as the animals roam freely, thriving in their native-like environments. The knowledgeable and entertaining guides bring the experience to life, delivering informative and engaging narratives with a touch of humor. The conservation efforts and dedication to education showcased by The Wilds Conservancy are commendable. Prepare to be amazed, enlightened, and inspired at The Wilds Conservancy – an unforgettable journey into the wonders of the natural world.

The Wilds was an amazing tour. You get a real up close and personal look at all the animals while getting information about them in between. I loved that there was a break half way through to stretch your legs and use the restroom. Our tour guide was Ryan P. and he was amazing. He was very personable and knowledgeable. We took our two year old daughter and Ryan was patient with her and answered her questions. I couldn’t recommend him more.

This place is a must visit. Adults and kids all enjoyed. A very unique zoo that feels like Jurassic park. Lots of close up animals, beautiful scenery, wonderful staff, and overall a great experience. We did not regret the 1.5 drive from Columbus to visit. The drive is remote but enjoyable. I personally think it is much better than animal kingdom. Lots of different animals and just enjoyable. They do have great facilities with bathrooms, gift shops and a cafeteria. We stopped once during our tour to stretch our legs.

Did the winter safari which is a barn based tour. We toured 4 barns: hooved animals, Indian rhinos, African rhinos, and giraffes. We got to feed a rhino right from our hand! Like a horse! We also got to pet multiple rhinos, and we were lucky enough that there were multiple baby rhinos! The last stop was the giraffes, where we also fed and pet one of those. The tour guide was both personable and knowledgeable.

My family and I did the open air safari with Jodie as our guide. We all had an excellent time and I highly recommend checking it out. Jodie was a great tour guide. Her knowledge about the animals, conservation, and the history of the Wilds along with her great energy made the experience more engaging and educational. We saw so many endangered species thriving in the middle of Ohio thanks to the wonderful care they receive. I'm excited to return to do one of the more in-depth tours

100% worth the money and the two hour drive for the Wildside tour. Our guide was Kristen. She was so knowledgeable and friendly... truly the perfect guide. She knew every answer to every question we asked and wanted to make sure we would have the best experience possible. It was So much fun to be so close to these animals. We will for sure be back!!

It was a cold rainy day but still worth going. The animals are so cool, and to get so close to them is pretty awesome. You learn a lot about them as well. I highly recommend ya go check it out!

This was an amazing experience!! Super cool to ride on the open air safari trip with all my friends. We got to see the animals up close and roaming in open spaces. Felt a lot like Jurassic Park in the best way possible! Thank you to our tour guide Sabrina for an incredible bus ride.

Amazing experience! Perfect day trip getting away right here in Ohio. Everyone should go at least once and pairing this with a Columbus Zoo members makes it that much better.

My wife an I went horse back riding a few months back and had a great time. My only complaint was their cafe. We both ordered a soft pretzel which was served to us out of the microwave. Seriously? You microwave the soft pretzels?! They were disgusting!

Wonderful experience at the Wilds. The outdoor bus tour was conducted very safe. Everyone is required to wear a mask and social distancing was enforced. Bus seating was staggered and limited to maintain distancing. Great guide was very knowledgeable and fun!

I took my teenage grand daughters for a ziplining tour. We were a little late getting there. They called to check on us and were very nice about waiting for us. Our guides, Trina and Haley were great. We felt very safe and had a great time. All of the staff that we met was very friendly and things seemed to run smoothly. Thanks Wilds! We will be back sometime for more fun and adventure.

This place is great, but I would recommend going in the spring or summer. We did a fall trip, and missed out on a few animals just due to the temperature. Can't wait to go back and camp under the stars!

Our Tour Guide was an amazing retired teacher. Only downfall - Torrential downpour & the Wilds put the covered buses away so we had to take open buses back to the parking lot with frightened 2 & 3 year olds.

My son enjoyed it and loved feeding the birds. I found it hilarious when the camel stopped at and angle and wouldn't let us by until a truck that had food came around then it took off after that truck. Already planning another trip in the warmer months.

I was going through some photo's from June of 2018. Our visit here will always be one of our favorites. I took this photo "From the Eye of a Giraffe" from about 8 to 10 feet away. The open air tour was amazing and our guide was very informative. The actual photo was of the entire head, this is just a segment of that photo.

Best experience of my life. Was nearly overwhelming how much we got to see. There was a new surprise everywhere you looked. You’re able to get so close to the animals and it’s all made even better knowing it’s part of a conservation effort. Our staff guide/driver was AMAZING. She was extremely knowledgeable and just when we thought the tour was over, she heard the black rhinos were awake and we drove over to see them again. We even got to FEED them. It was an amazing surprise, I didn’t even know feeding rhinos was a thing. (Was my favorite part by far). The Wilds is an amazing organization and I’m lucky to have been able to visit.

We did our second trip in almost 2-3 months to The Wilds this past weekend. We did the Open Air Safari Bus Tour with Bob as our driver/guide. Bob was an awesome guide with his storytelling and all the information on the animals and places we passed or stopped at. Not all the animals were available to be viewed because of the cooler weather, but nonetheless there were many still active in the pastures, etc. We took my in laws for their first time and they loved it!! We all can't wait to go back soon.

The largest safari in the Midwest. The Wilds has a few tours throughout its area. You can zip line the tour, horse back ride the tour, and be chauffeured throughout the tour. Some of the animals may approach you during the tours. They have exotic animals from around. Nice trip for the family to have fun and learn.

Have you ever fed a giraffe? Have you ever EVER petted a rhino?? Well... WE DID AND OH MY GOSH.... the experience was well worth it for the extra cost for the Wild Side Tour!! Our guide Jordan was very knowledgeable and kind and was simply an AWESOME lady!! Even though it was chilly with a misty rain, we would do it all over again. Get there people, you will not be disappointed for sure!! I will renew my membership for sure. Enjoy the pictures 📸

So amazing!!! I loved every single one of the employees. SOOOOO NICE. Our yurt was so cute and hearing the animals was totally amazing. One of the best experiences of my life. My husband and I went zip lining, horseback riding and went on the safari tour! Everything was AMAZING. If you ever have the chance to go, definitely do it.

  • 4/5 Elisa C. 1 year ago on Google
The tour is fine. Most of animals you can find at any zoo in the US, but there was one which had China origins, and that can be cool to see especially if they walk close to the safari bus. My favourite ones were the ostrich and the rhinos because they were very friendly and approached to the bus. Our tour guide was nice, and also people working at the gift shop and the restaurant (there was just one restaurant working on a Wednesday). Just one thing, you will get full of dust during the ride!

My animal loving family loves our visits to The Wilds. The animals are free to roam in large, open areas and the staff are very educational. You can tell they are committed to saving the animals and giving them the best life possible.

AWESOME PLACE!! There's not a huge variety of animals but you actually get to interact with some. The open-air bus provides a good overview but the smaller safari tours are when you get to pet and feed some of the animals. The staff provides informative information and are willing to answer all questions. Thunderstorms were in and out the day we were there. The staff was very nice and allowed us to change our scheduled times due to the weather. If there is a thunderstorm they do cut tours short and will have delayed times, which is good since it's all wide open spaces. The food court is expensive and did run out of a few items. Overall it was a GREAT time and I highly recommend it!

Outstanding! We were able to feed the Rhinos and Giraffes and we got so close to many other animals. I love the Wilds- natural habitats, up close and personal, and their conservation efforts are second to none. Thank you for a great visit!

We traveled 9hrs and camped at a nearby campground to come to the Zoo and The Wilds! My son wants to be a Zoologist and has seen every episode from "Secrets of the Zoo" and got a chance to meet some of the staff from the show. I believe our guide's name was Cami. She was absolutely wonderful, very knowledgeable, and did her absolute best to give us an amazing experience.... Thank you!!! If you are considering what your to take... Spend the extra and do the "wild side tour" it's well worth it the money and very interactive with the animals!

Took 4 children under 10. They loved it! Food is pricey but you can take your own. The giraffe area and parakeet area were both closed for renovation. Advise asking before going what is currently being revised. Also, road construction made for detour and GPS doesn't work for most people in that area. Map it out before you go. RESERVATIONS REQUIRED

Awesome place for a day out with the kids/family. We have done two open air safari tours and both were very different and equally nice (since you never know what animals might come closer)

We had a great time on our trip to The Wilds. Spent the night in Yurt number 6 and we had a nice view of the Savanah right from our deck. The view was even better from the main observation deck and we were also able to enjoy meeting other guests. In addition to the Open Air tour, we also took the Wildside Tour which got us up close and personal with several of the animals. Possibly the most surprising thing was how comfortable the Yurt was. It was a nice size, VERY clean, temperature controlled, and had an extremely comfortable bed. Highly recommend coming to The Wilds.

Visited The Wilds on a super hot Thursday. It's a conservation place that breeds and holds a variety of animals for zoos and countries for reintroduction to their native regions. Affiliated with the Columbus Zoo. Giraffes weren't out.....too hot and no shade.

Great place to tour. The work they do here is top notch! We did open air safari and it was Great! Giraffe enclosure being updated so we didn't get to see those. Maybe next time. But the baby zebra made up for that!! What a cutie. Our guide George A. was the best! Funny, witty and very knowledgeable. Would love to stay in yurts. Highly recommend.

It was a lot of fun. We thought we would see more animals, but the way everything is set up is great and feels very safe for the people and the animals. Bring binoculars if you can! The animals are free roaming within their areas so they are sometimes far away.

What great Zoo experience! Worth the trip out of town to see the rare animals in a natural habitat. We did the standard bus tour and our guide was awesome, perfect way to enjoy a day.

We arrived 30 minutes before our scheduled open air tour. This was our 4th time visiting and have had different interactions with the animals each time. The route may be the same, but the experience is always different! Rosie was our tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor!

We had such an amazing experience on our Wildside tour! Our guide Trina was wonderful and so knowledgeable about all the animals. We were lucky enough to be there to see both giraffe and rhino babies. We will be back to try the Ziplines and other activities that the Wilds offer!

From the moment I arrived at The Wilds, I knew I was in for an adventure that would soar above the ordinary. The zip lining experience here is not just a mere attraction; it's a masterfully orchestrated aerial journey that offers a unique vantage point over the diverse wildlife and lush habitats below. What truly set this experience apart was the instructors' unwavering commitment to safety. It was evident that they weren't just trained professionals; they were guardians of our well-being in the skies. Their meticulous approach to safety checks and briefings was akin to a choreographed dance of precision and expertise. They equipped us with state-of-the-art gear and ensured every harness and helmet was a testament to their 'safety-first' mantra. Their proficiency in safety protocols didn't just end at the equipment. They were vigilant, constantly monitoring each participant with an eagle eye, ensuring that every move we made was within the bounds of safety. This attention to detail provided a sense of security that was both comforting and empowering, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the thrill of the experience without a shred of worry.
