Nice Columbus city park.Paved walking path that is a little under a mile for 1 time around. Lots of open fields for soccer and football. North part of park is beside Big Walnut Creek.

Large athletic fields, walking path, and newer playground equipment. Mature trees in certain sections. The grounds are currently hosting a large flock of geese because of the creek nearby. Expect lots of droppings where the geese congregate. There are two parking areas, one off of Refugee Rd, and the other north along Noe Bixby Rd. Neither parking area is large enough for very large gatherings. The only bathroom facilities are two Porta-Potties next to the playground.

Nice park, unfortunately was filled with trash. C'mon folks...use the trash bins!!!

  • 2/5 Harlan W. 2 years ago on Google
Trash and broken glass in the parking lots. Trash in the grass. Otherwise, the park is fine...just needs a bit of maintenance.

I love coming to this park to sit in my car, windows open, feel the breeze and enjoy the quiet time to study or reflect on my day. A beautiful park.

So much fun at Nafzger Park. Always something to do walk the trail, watch the soccer games picnic with friends and family BBQ. Feed the geese or just sit under a tree and watch everybody.

Huge track, nice play area for the kids, basketball hoops. Plenty of space for flag football or soccer

A lot of construction going on. Cars driving on restrictive grounds. A supposedly deaf female approached everyone for money using puppets. Open field, track, and play ground. Different openings to the park.

Mostly used for soccer games, nice space for flying kites. Not much playground equipment and prone to flooding. The area can be rough, surrounding neighborhoods have a lot of crime activity, so be alert and stay safe.

Used the park to speed walk for an hour. Chose a busy day, it was being used for soccer games. Pretty decent walk, there was an area near the basketball courts that was flooded, had to walk around the area.

Beautiful big park, was very clean (a little bird poop but that's normal considering theres a lot of geese there). It has only 1 picnic table though.

I love waking on the path. It is kept clean and they installed a new playground. Recently, the soccer players and their fans don't care about the trash that they leave after their soccer games on the weekends. It's a mess on Mondays! The dumpsters are filled with illegal items. It should be gated so that can't happen.

  • 2/5 akaisha h. 3 years ago on Google
The trail is amazing, the huge fields are great for all the sports played there, however the play area for the kids is terrible. It's small, cheap, and boring. They could really do something amazing with the playground and they haven't. It's a shame.

This is a very spacious park with decent sitting. Its a great place to spend time with the family & maybe watch a soccer game. My daughter & I enjoyed it! I think she enjoyed the "ducks" as she's them, most of all.

Big walking trail around loops that is not shaded. Has playground and swing sets. Several mega size fields for sports. And a couple hundred geese in parking lot near parking lot and port-a-potty.
