Tonight was my first experience at Shadowbox and they did not disappoint! The performers are amazing! They are incredibly talented! They sing, play instruments, act and serve!!! Hot and Heavy was an excellent performance! All of the show is my favorite part. Lol. You must have a dirty sense of humor or you may feel uncomfortable. I absolutely loved this venue and look forward to becoming a regular customer! I highly recommend checking it out , the food is pretty good too and not horribly priced. This place is awesome!

Been a fan and ardent admirer of these amazing performers for well over 15 years now, I’ve attended many shows, musicals and special events. I’ve turned many friends onto them and created even more fans. I’ve never had a bad experience and as long as they exist, I’m gonna keep coming back!

Very talented group. It's been close to 20 years since I last saw a show. Definitely entertaining but a bit cheesier than I remember and a few skits fell a bit flat. Saw holiday Hoopla and 2nd half was better. Music overall was better than the skits. Would recommend to others as it is definitely a unique experience.

I cannot rave about this place enough! This was the one of the best shows short of seeing the band's live that I have ever seen in my long life! If you ever get a chance to go here please go! Great music and great singing!

This show was worth every penny spent!! My friend and I had the best time and are looking forward to returning for another show. We were fortunate that there was no one seated behind us and we were dancing. We love that everyone in the performance filled the positions that are needed to run the place. It is very obvious the talent at the Shadowbox. If you are fan of Led Zeppelin or Queen you will not be disappointed. If you are a not fan of these bands, the performances will make you become a fan. Thank you, to each of you, that made this a wonderful way to spend our Sunday afternoon!

Really fun experience. The show we saw (Dirty Little Secrets) was great! Only piece of advice - eat before you go. The food is not all that / over priced for what you get. But you're there for a show and that you will get.

Just saw "Which One's Pink?".. just wow!! Killer band, with amazing interpretation / production by cast with stunning graphics and props! Attentive friendly staff and delicious food too! Buckshot Brian had tears of joy throughout most of the show.. highly recommended, and a must see!👍🎶🌹.

Haven't been to Shadowbox unfortunately for 3 years due to covid and us being in Florida quite a bit. The show was awesome, and it was so great seeing the performers/friends we have loved over the years and the new talent that we haven't seen. Love you guys! Will be back a couple times before we head south. Mary thanks for the great welcome back hug, you rock! Stacie, you know we love you and it was great seeing you. Jimmy nice talking to you again. See you guys soon.

We have been to countless Shadowbox Live shows and have never been disappointed. If you haven't experienced a show with them, you are truly missing out. The perfect date night or outing with friends. Most shows are a mix of humor, amazing music and a little sex appeal. The band is seriously outstanding. If the tickets seem expensive just know when you go to a show you can purchase advance tickets for a discount price. We always do that and it's a great deal. When you are seated-ordering food and drinks is fast paced bc most of the servers are also part of the show, but the service is always so friendly and accurate.

Had a great time. The atmosphere was very relaxing, enjoyable and fun. The entertainment was very invigorating, fun and educating at the same. The staff was very attentive and professional. The Rudy would listen show by Joseph Banks made it all happen.

I have always loved Shadowbox and have followed them for over a decade. This was oddly my first time seeing hoopla. Service was great. I still loved it but I guess I built it up in my head a little too much because I expected a little more in the song department. Lots of great performers except one. There is so much talent. Food and drinks were great but super pricey in b my opinion.

My wife and I just saw Pillow Talk and loved every minute! The crew was very talented and hardworking, serving tables between performances. The music was wonderful, the comedy was hilarious, and the atmosphere was great start to finish!! We will absolutely be back for another show. I can't wait!

The Flower Power show was excellent! Amazing venue! All the performers were outstanding! They also pull double duty as the servers. Food was on the higher price but our portion was huge. We are definitely going back!

20th century humorist Will Rodgers once said that "I never met a man I didn't like," well to paraphrase that, I've have never seen a show at Shadowbox Live that I didn't like. And now you can add Pillow Talk to that list!! Outstanding entertainment.

This show Holiday Hoopla was amazing. So much fun with the comedy and holiday songs. It was really amazing!! Also it was so personable because our waiter was the Santa actor. Support local arts this season. It was really great!

Awesome venue with great service and shows. Always something new and interesting being performed. Brought my family who were visiting out of town to the "Which One's Pink?" Pink Floyd show and they loved it! If you're ever in town and want a great show, don't hesitate to visit!

Shadowbox is full of so much talent! Love the music shows, as well as, the comedy. You can see the hard work in creating the shows - from the skits to the lighting. Truly a fun evening out, grab some friends & go; you will not be disappointed.

  • 5/5 Joe A. 10 months ago on Google
The show was great! Had a really fun time sharing the music of my generation with my wife and son. The band was very good! Only critique is although the drummer was excellent it sounded like he was playing inside a box. Not sure if it's an older electronic set, or sound level were off, but the cymbal crashes were not bright, and you could hardly hear them. All the performers/staff very friendly and fun! Always enjoy a night out at Shadowbox.

We have been visiting Shadowbox shows for over 20 years. We have introduced countless people to the performances and truly believe it is an outstanding organization right here in little old Columbus. This show is great and it was again a great time for the 2 newbie’s we brought with us. The food is great and our guests loved that the food and orders were taken and delivered by the artists on stage. We will continue to come back and see the performers that continue to display their passion and talent for their work. Thanks for a great evening.

Upon arriving, we were greeted and ushered in by the actors who were in the performance that evening, we had no clue! On the way to our table, (it is exclusively table seating) led through the halls and corridors, we were pleased to view the original art and photography exhibit themed with the show that evening, "No Return". The gracious server was also one of the performers and singers in the cast and soon we were informed that the entire cast and musicians and dancers were the chefs, servers, bartenders, busboys, etc. , who would soon leave the audience area to prepare for the performance! This was an added feature unanticipated but ever so welcome. The performers; actors, singers and dancers took the stage after a compelling introduction by the evening's hostess (also in the cast?) Ultimately, the whole experience was fascinating. The challenging task of setting such a dark story in a musical was embellished craftily with projected graphics aiding the narrative of the not well known story behind the tragic lives and actions of Clyde Barrow and Bonnie Parker. The amazing band was on stage throughout and provided unique musical arrangements for the very unusual repertoire of music which opened with a mysterious version of Louis Armstrong's "What a Wonderful World". This dark opening sung with wistful sarcasm set the mood for the entire show. We are not fans of gun violence in any entertainment media and trust that someday TV and Film in general will turn away from relying on violence to thrill audiences. Here, this theatrical production looked into the back story of just how this infamous couple turned to violence for their fate. The take-away for myself was that we never now what influences criminal violence until we look deeper and keep faith that we can be guided to have better outcomes for those who are challenged by hardship and lack. I look forward to experiencing a brighter, lighter production from this stunning group of writers, actors, singers, musicians, directors...oh yes, did I mention the food was terrific!

We wanted something to do while kids were at a Kemba Live concert and this was perfect. We dropped them off and had plenty of time to get in ahead of the show for food and drinks, then back out in time to pick them up. We saw Wicked Games and it was wonderfully unique and creative, unlike any other live performances. Performers are all very talented with many doing both live music and acting (oh and did I mention many of them are also servers and tech!). House band was even a rotating cast of talented musicians performing covers. Center stage was a large screen where many prerecorded and very well done shorts were shown. Lighting and sound were perfectly done and never distracting. We will certainly be back for more shows in the future. UPDATE: We went back and saw Flower Power which again was an outstanding performance. This show is a mix of poetry and music from the 60's. Highly recommend Shadowbox productions.

I've been here many times and it's always a great time but the Which One is Pink show was extraordinary. The music was great, as usual, but I can't stop thinking about the choreography and dance. Particularly in the song Mother, the decorations, choreography, and dancers was one of the most moving things I've ever seen. Amy Lay and the other dancers killed it in the second act. I still can't stop thinking about how wonderful this show was. And there wasn't even any sketch comedy!!! Also, a big thank you to Zach for telling me that ahead of time so I was prepared. This show was so good I bought future to let's for the up omg show, Flower Power.

  • 5/5 Scott G. 1 year ago on Google
As always the show was absolutely Amazing!!! Their creativity and attention to detail is extraordinary and they really make the most of each show!!! The food is simple but excellent and the service is great just like their performance. The price of admission may seem high to some people, but it is well worth the cost and no more than most other entertainment you will go to. Although I would love to go to every new show they have, we normally only make it out to one or two shows a year. Keep up the great work, you guys and gals Rock!!!

I had the pleasure of seeing Flower Power recently at Shadowbox Live with some friends. It's a lively, joyful show filled with music from the 60's and 70's hippie era. The costumes were beautiful and, as always, the singers & musicians knocked it out of the park! Such a wonderful way to spend the evening, we all walked out smiling and singing. Food & drink were great too! We had pizza and salads, everything was delicious. And such a treat to be served by one of the show's performers, Hayley! This is a must-do for a date night or with a group of friends.

We just saw the Body Language show on Saturday and we are still laughing. It was so well done and some of the skits were absolutely hysterical. The show was clever, creative and showcased the amazing talent that we have in Columbus. This place is so much fun and I highly encourage you to go if you haven't already been there. We are lucky to have this theater in Columbus and all of the talented actors, singers, musicians, writers and producers who crank out fantastic productions.

I've been attending Shadowbox Live shows since they found their new home on S.High St. There's never been a bad show. There is so much talent on that stage and behind the scenes. I'm impressed with the new seating practice. I don't know how the performers do it - wait tables and then perform. I'm always amazed. A wonderful organization that I love attending with buddies who love it too AND friends experiencing it for the first time. Thanks to all for doing all that you do, all that you give to Cbus, and all that you are! Love you bunches, Jay Mantle

We have been attending shows at Shadowbox for many years and find it to be an awesome experience. We usually go with another couple and share dinner and drinks at our table. The service and food is excellent and it’s fun having the actors serve us, and we always find ourselves cheering on our server. The band is top notch and the theatrical show is always entertaining! We will be back!

Shodowbox live took it to the next level with Body language show. Two hours of amazing show and music and of course with lots of laughs. I went to this show and did not expect so much entertainment and fun. Amazing artist who you get to know them before the show starting, different experience for me. Thank you shadowbox live. I am now a huge fan and will make sure to visit you on my next trips to Columbus.

This was a great experience. Fun right from the start as we realized the actors were taking our tickets and serving us drinks. They definitely bring their energy to work! They were enthusiastic and entertaining. Vinyl was a fun, fast paced and hilarious show, such a fun night. This was our first time at shadowbox, but we will definitely be back.

A great show! The band is awesome. The vocals are fantastic. Stacie is in her element! ALL the performers are phenomenal. And let’s not forget the choreography! A great way to spend an evening OR an afternoon. Excellent food available before the show or during intermission. Shadowbox is not to be missed!!

  • 5/5 Shalyn S. 7 months ago on Google
Love the new post pandemic set up at shadowbox live. Instead of buying tickets and being seated at 6 or 8 top (where you may get seated with cool people or not), you now purchase a table for the number of tickets you need. Genius! Everything is also digital-no more paper survey cards, no more paper programs at the tables, no more paper menus (although, I think I did spy one so they seem to be available on request). It seems that shadowbox took the time during the pandemic to reevaluate and revamp their production from top to bottom-smart and nicely done! Shows are still great as ever with some of your favorite familiar faces along with some new ones. Musical selections still mesh well with the content of the show.

My wife and I took two “virgin” friends on 8-26-23 to see “Body Language”. What a great show! The Band was excellent as well as great vocals. Especially enjoyed the two songs with the dancers. The skits were so funny. We talked about the dog skit for a few days. The staff was very accommodating. We unknowingly reserved a high top table and the staff was able to relocate us. My friends enjoyed it so much, we purchased tickets from Inside Table with plans to see Thunder and Lightning in October! I have enjoyed Shadowbox since first going by accident while shopping at Easton.

It started with the amazing artwork available as we were seated at our table, their is enough talent in this building to blow Hollywood away! Waiter was knowledgeable, courteous and was fantastic in the show. My wife and I had food that was delicious and rivaled any nice place in Columbus. The show and music blew us away, the talented group including musicians, singers, dancers, etc! The night continued with a few more drinks and the show continued to amaze us. A little thing some may not notice is the full carafes of water already at the table, this is helpful and nice to have with dinner. We will be back!

Unbelievably talented group of performers...the music and dance are both as professional as any i've seen and heard... not to mention we get to interact with them as they serve us at our tables. The outfits they wear during the performances are made by the performers and will blow you away. I am a fan of many years and will continue to support this amazing family of performers.

We came to see Thunder & Lightning, which was a tribute to Queen and Led Zeppelin. Great show. You can tell the performers love what they are doing, the passion really gives the whole performance its shine. Everyone is super friendly. We loved the local art in the hallway. And the costumes are really fantastic. We will definitely come back.

What a GREAT experience for me, a first time visitor!! The show was absolutely fabulous! The performers..WOW...that's all I can say! The energy in the place was just awesome! Cant believe that the performers also serve your food, drink, then perform then at intermission they come back out to serve before 2nd act! Their voices, dances were just fabulous!!!

This is my second trip to see a show at shadowbox, there will be more. The first one was a group thing had a blast, and was looking for something to do in Columbus, thought about shadow box. I looked it up online honestly couldn't believe how reasonable the price was for seats so close to the stage. Amazingly good show, a lot of bang for the buck. The theaters laid out very well, I don't think there's a bad seat in the entire place. They did Led Zeppelin and Queen justice. One of the best shows I've ever seen, everybody was into it, all the players were great. Everybody seemed to really enjoy what they were doing and it really came through in the performance. The fact that they were having such a good time made it that much better for the audience. Planning on making reservations for the Christmas show. Thank you for a great night.

This is my absolute favorite place for a Friday night. A fantastic live show and karoake after in the lounge. The house band here is as good as any live concert you could see. The only downside is that their food is a little pricey - but eat first and get appetizers during the show.

This is a wonderful place. My daughter has participated in STEM Rocks the Box twice. I have only been to one regular show and it was great. The food is good and the place is clean. The wait staff is also the cast so it is fun to watch out for them in the show. I highly recommend attending.

Shadowbox is a very unique experience and we are lucky to have one on Columbus. It definitely encourages the arts and acting of many local artists. The facilities are very nice and I really enjoy the flow inside the establishment. It was very clean and well maintained. The actors and actresses act as the wait staff as well. They all were very friendly to interact with and the support staff seems to enjoy assisting as well. We did order a dessert, was told it was on its way but never showed up. It also didn't show up on the bill. It's understandable things will be forgotten because who knows when these people get a break to keep themselves together. The skits don't fall into my interest. The scripting seems to be exaggerated and over the top. The acting does to but it seems to be more of how these skits are scripted. It's just not the style of entertainment I guess. I would recommend going at least once. You may like it. Overall, not a place for me but apparently a fun place for many others. Check it out.

Went up to Columbus for my wife birthday. Our plans changed at last minute and my girlfriend and I needed to think quick. We found Shadow Box has lunch shows and the price was within reason. I took my wife a few years ago and she liked it then as well. It was my girlfriends 1st time and she really liked it. She loved the art on the walls. Nice stop for lunch.

Staff and crew were amazing! They were so talented and dedicated to their craft. Their appetizers were okay, just basic snack foods, but not their specialty. Their rock and roll show: Leather and Lace was incredible! I would recommend this show if you like to rock and like to have a good time. The members of the show were absolutely dedicated and you can see their passion. There's local artists that display and sell their pieces and it's really cool. They also offer stand up comedy here. Parking is a bit hard because either fills up quickly! There's plenty of space inside and tables for guests.

It was amazing!! Lots of talent there! Thoroughly enjoyed myself. I haven't laughed that much in a very long time... I think since the last time I saw a show at Shadowbox Cabaret. I don't plan on waiting that long again. I highly recommend going to a show... Often!

We went to the show unsure what to expect. It was a fantastic experience; the performers were all very talented and the musicians were spot on; their musicality was incredible. I cannot say enough about the band; they were amazing, the sound just superb. I admit it was not what I expected, but nonetheless a fantastic night. Definitely will plan to see more shows at this lovely theater.

This theater is wonderful. I had two friends from out of town with me and they were ecstatic about the experience. We loved the music, the musicians, the dancers, the singers, the costumes. All performers were professionally super and the atmosphere in the theater before and during the show was invigorating. We ate, drank, and enjoyed! Thank you, artists of Columbus!
