A place of worship that accepts all as they are and supports them in their spiritual journey. No need to check your brain at the door.

For many years, I have been "a friend of" St. Stephen's Episcopal Church at 30 W. Woodruff Ave. in the "University District" of Columbus. Actually, St. Stephen's Episcopal Church is the only church that is officially located "on" the OSU campus. When St. Stephen's Episcopal Church had been built, that church had been surrounded by a residential neighborhood immediately north of the OSU campus; since then, OSU purchased all of those neighboring properties, tore down those properties, and built dormitories [and more recently built even more dormitories]; as a result, that church is now completely surrounded by the OSU campus. I have attended many events over the years at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church; my most recent meeting [3-23-2023] had been one of the monthly meetings of the OSU Interfaith Council that seeks to facilitate networking among the many religious groups that are active in the University District that involve OSU students, staff and faculty. One recent change that I have been noticing during the past six months or so at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church is their recently-installed signs -- in several different locations around their property -- that state very clearly, "All are welcome here."

Love St. Stephen's! Have attended for 30 years! Loving and welcoming! Meets you wherever you might be on your spiritual journey. A great group of thinkers & questioners who take Christ's call for social justice as mission. Oh and the music is great too!! Come join us!

I loved this place. I've been Rollerblading here 3 times a week in the summer for about 5 years. I called about trail improvement for inline skates. They advised they don't repair for any inline skating reasons. Said that currently everyone can skate due to covid-19 but advised afterword no skating will be allowed in the park. Do you really want to find ways exclude people. This is how I use the metro parks and why I voted for the last levey. Very disappointed. I believe the Greenway multipurpose trails join the 3 creaks path. It is my understanding that all Greenway multipurpose trails allow bikers, skaters, runners, and waking. Just my two cents worth. Sorry for the book. Have a fabulous day!!!

When I lived on campus, their parking lot monitors were extremely nasty and rude. They harassed and ran off any person who drove or walked in or near their parking lot. Seriously some of the meanest people I’ve ever randomly encountered. Definitely wouldn’t attend this church or even consider it based on this.

St. Stephen’s has been my spiritual home and workplace for 3 years now. It’s one of the most welcoming and loving congregations I’ve ever been apart of. A beautiful blend of traditional and contemporary liturgy and music. If you’re in the area you must check out a Sunday mass!

Such a loving and caring congregation! And now so creative in the use of technology to stream services and hold Zoom meetings to involve many member. I especially appreciate the congregation's openness to LGBTQ people, people with mental disabilities and people of all ages and races. Many support groups meet in the church, as well as poetry groups, blood drives, a Tai Chi group, a young adult group and others, so the church is busy every evening as well as Sunday morning, which puts a strain on the small parking lot at times. Still, people who accidentally use the lot for business in the dorms are welcome as long as they don't linger and take up a space needed for church activities.

I was an OSU student who went here for the last two years of my undergrad. I wasn’t raised Episcopalian but grew to love the service, the friendly people and other students I met, the A-frame architecture, the proximity to campus, and the oversized windows/plants. Churches don’t always practice what they preach but St. Stephen’s is an unrelenting force for justice and I was blessed to have found it.

My spiritual home for over 20 years. Starting attending St. Stephen's when I was in college at OSU. The mid-century modern church building sits on the corner of High and Woodruff next to the north campus dorms. Convenient free parking; traditional Anglican liturgy that incorporates poetry and music; thought-provoking sermons; service-oriented congregation.

This is the only park that I have been to that has a designated area for off trail exploring! The trails that were not paved were muddy.

Clean and well maintained trails. There is a small boat dock that is fun to look off of and see the fish below. Not a big selection of parking spots but there were some openings when I went mid-day Saturday.

It is a beautiful park. My only complaint it that I wish there were more locations to get poop bags for our pets. My boy absolutely loves this park and starts whimpering the second he sees that we are taking the road that leads to the park.

The parking lot of this church is located on Ohio State’s campus and is in close proximity to student dorms. My friend had pulled into the parking lot to pick up a ticket, turn her car around and leave. As she was getting ready to leave a woman approached us and told us we weren’t allowed in the parking lot, went on and on about how we needed to leave, and was very rude when we tried to explain she was just pulling in and turning around. As I was leaving I saw a sign on the back of their building that says “Episcopal Church welcomes you” and while I do not attend this church, the fact that this woman employee, who I called to find out was the former priest of the church, was rude and unwelcoming, makes me not want to go to this church. If I did not have beliefs of my own, she would be the type of person that would discourage me from wanting to be a part of whatever it is this church is trying to offer people. The love of god must be shown through the church, the members and leaders especially if the goal is to bring people to God.

Beautiful church, welcoming community, great music. Always thought-provoking sermons from Father Karl and a wonderful and engaging group of people to discuss them with. I'm so happy to be able to call St. Stephens my church home.
