We are camping there right now. It's a wonderful Mom and pop place .beautiful and quite. It's our first time staying in the campground. But they also have a swimming lake and so much more to do

A traditional campground we swim at as a family. We’ve brought our extended families to join us as well. Owners have great requirements and keep all customers safe with them. Unfortunately they took away tent camping, but that’s okay. It’s less then 45 minutes from our home. The campground is beautiful as a whole though. Lots of things to do freely or bring the whole family for a family reunion. The staff keep the grounds very clean. And keep the atmosphere clean as well. People can’t get profane verbally or physically. Alcohol isn’t permitted which is nice. Keeps people from getting out of hand

Baylor beach Park and campground Is fun swimming pond lots to do. Swim during open time only, paddle boats, concession stand. Volleyball nets, playground shelter building, shower house. We visit once a year. Update.. our family loves Baylor beach.....it's a family owned water attraction...with a small campground on the side. We enjoy the swimming and the grounds and how close it is to the Amish restaurants and tourist stuff. Update 2022 We camped in the new section in the back with full hook-ups. They need to plant some trees, we also would like to see them build a new shower building and bathroom for the campers, It's probably hard to justify with all the big rigs out there. We use the facilities since we are camping in a hybrid. It would be nice if they had a campers only swim time. While camping go to Just ice cream in Brewster it's a quick drive and I think their ice cream is some of the best!

Living Faith Family Fellowship has its annual Church picnic & water baptism here. We always rent a shelter and stay the whole day. The owners and staff are great and this is a beautiful, family oriented, and well maintained park. We've been coming here for years and we all have a wonderful relaxing time. I recommend it.

Baylor's Beach an Amazing place to take your family for vacation or even just for the day. Since Baylor's is very family oriented. They pay good attention to make sure there's no shanaggins and that everyone is having a good time. If you like swimming there's plenty to do. Then along with the other activities everyone can find something fun to do together or maybe even with the other friendly camping families. Pack your burgers and Smores kits as you schedule in a few nights for your family and have some fun!

It's ok. Great for adults but deep water ,even at the edge. Wouldn't recommend for small children that don't know how to swim. Best bet is buy water shoes before going. The sand has rocks in it that hurt your feet .

I'm not a lake type person, I much prefer the pool, but Baylor really is a fun place for the kids, and affordable at that. The lake has a number of activities for all ages, there's also playground equipment, mini golf, pavilions and grills, as well as hot food on site. My only gripe, is that each time I've been (over the past 15 years) the bathrooms always need a cleaning. As a female, it's already an unpleasant feeling to use a public restroom while you're wet, but when toilets are too gross to look at, let alone use, it can put a damper on the whole visit. People really could do a better job at cleaning up after themselves, or their children, rather than leaving it to employees.

Such a great place for family. We spent 3 weeks here and this was our first time here. It's so nice to be at a very family oriented place. Everything very clean! Kne thing I think might need a little improvement is the shower house, it heats on solar and in late evenings there is no hot water. But otherwise great place!

Always enjoy being at Bear's Beach my family is from the area and even though now we are about 2 hours away there's generally no stopping us from hanging out there when we really want to. The staff keeps the kids pretty well in check it does get a little bit crowded but if you go on a little bit cloudy of a day you'll find yourself not surrounded by people. Paddle boats are awesome the food is taking care of the way it should be. The hospitality is great if the bathrooms are dirty and you tell someone they are immediately cleaned. Good family time for people who don't want to act up.

Always a good time here. I had one issue with the outlet being burnt up before I plugged in I called and maintenance showed up to repair it. People should look at that at any campground before plugging in. Most times the staff will not get notified. The sites we where in are very hard to get in and out of but that is an issue that they are working to address. The park is clean, fun and the staff is great. Highly recommend especially if you have kids.

Clean, clean, clean. The grounds, bathrooms, water activities, snack bar, tubes and picnic tables are all kept up. Everything is painted nice and cared for. Glad to see/hear the life guards enforcing the rules. I like the announcements that give the rules. The safety breaks are spaced appropriately. (Not to many, just enough) It was $45 for 3 people to get in for the day. I would pay it all day long for how great this day was. You can bring in your own food, non alcohol drinks and floats. The snack bar food was really good not the usual gross frozen to fried taste. The best part....... you never freak that a fish might nibble on you!!!!

Staff is very friendly, park was very clean and well kept. Newer campsites are large and flat. Could use a couple trees and a bathhouse a little closer but not a deal breaker. Will be staying again as it's close to home and the kids asked if we could live there lol.

Fun place to take the family. A little pricey at $17 per person over 3 to just swim. All other activities are an extra charge. Bring water shoes if you can. The rocks they use for a beach are a tad hard on the feet. The little playground is cute and a good addition for kids 2 to 7. Park was mostly clean and had a very good, family friendly atmosphere.

Very nice family water park. Paddle boats, aqua bikes, funyaks. Camping, swimming, small waterslides. Narural shade, grills, and pavillons. Snack bar. It was a great time.

I came here today for the first time ever. It's been raining off and on all day, and I didn't get here until 2:30. I asked for a discount, and was denied. Then I found out that after I paid full price, I still had to pay more to ride the paddle boats and to play putt putt. Then my 42 yr old friend was singely called out of the water for a safety break. We could've just went swimming in a lake for free.. this was definitely a waste of money. I will not be returning.

Really nice place. My boys, 12 and 13 years old had a blast. They loved the log roll! Very clean and relaxing place. If you are not planning on getting in the water bring a lawn chair to sit on. Plenty of shade and picnic tables if you want to bring food. We will be back.

I can’t say enough good about Baylor Beach Park. This is my second stay here in two years. The staff is friendly and professional, the campground is meticulously maintained, they have all the amenities you need. Five stars again this year.

YEA!! Let me leave a review !!! The girl at the counter asked if my 37 year old husband was over 60 before even paying , you know a senior discount 😂👋! . We began laughing and an older blonde lady came to the window and told us we were making her feel bad and we began apologizing. After parking we both looked at each other like the girl just insulted him and we were the ones made to feel bad !!! That girl needs to grow up before working with the public if us laughing at her insulting US offends her ! As for the older lady who took less than a minute to come to the window and put us down??? For laughing ??? Lady you should never work with the public ! Shame on you for trying to twist it around on us! Aside from that the most incredible, boring water park ever! If you have very little kids that don’t pay attention to their surroundings this is your place ! If you don’t drink, don’t swear , want to pay for literally everything separately, have rules posted on everything over and over and explained them over the loud speaker over and over as if they are speaking to people who just don’t get it ?? Then yes go here! Ps the crowd is in severe questionable nature, take that as you will and make your own decision by experience or avoiding all together by the most honest post this place has!

  • 5/5 Annie T. 10 months ago on Google
The water park is perfect for families! The staff is friendly, the park is clean and well maintained. If you plan on going more than a few times, get a season pass as it’s definitely worth it. This is our first year with a season pass and we are excited to go more often. It’s an easy drive down 21 to 93. lots of picnic tables, shade and sun depending on where you want to sit. We love Baylor Beach!

We camped here for 3 nights and absolutely loved our camping spot because of the location and views. We checked in on a Sun. and left on a Wed. in the fall so we were off season visitors which made our stay quiet and relaxing. We plan to come back when the beach is open with our kids and grandkids because I think there's a lot to do in season. We came to the area to do the treasure hunting in Amish County, which meant days were sepnt shopping and nights spent sitting around the campfire in the country. Loved hearing the hooves of horses go by from the buggies. Only negative would be the lack of bathroom facilities and shower areas, but most RVs have their own so it's not that big of a deal. We will return again, in season, with our adult kids and grandkids, and probably another fall trip because it is so beautiful there in the fall.

Clean and quite. Many pull through sites with electric and water hook-ups. Large clean shower rooms. Many on site attractions (swimming lake, putt-putt course, etc.) closed for season so we will have to stay again to enjoy them

This place is very nice and well maintained. There were not lots of people when we were there which was very nice. Bathroom and locker room was fine. Will be going back with my kids.

Six+ members of my family gather annually at the Baylor Beach miniature golf course to play in our "Baylor Baylor Beach Open." At stake is a year's worth of braggadocio. Unfortunately, we started play this afternoon and had to abandon the play after just 3 holes due to a long line of rain storms moving through the area. As we stood under a porch waiting for the showers to abate, we were approached by the Baylor Beach managers who offered gift cards for 6 free rounds of golf and umbrella escorts to our vehicles. What a nice, decent thing to do! Sometimes doing the nice thing provides more than decency however. You see, my mom, the matriarch of our family (and Baylor Beach Open participant) passed away 2 months ago - so this event had extra special meaning this year. The kindness of others has extra special effects too when your heart is broken. Thank you!

First time coming here and my family had a great time. The park is clean, family friendly, with grills for food, a section for RVs and the water is large enough and deep enough to have fun. Would recommend and will return!

Its not bad. Its a nice place with plenty of activities and pavilions and picnic tables for lots of families or groups. It was $10 a person to get into the park and if youre going to stay for hours, its worth the price.

Drove past Sunday.Too many people. How can parents justify putting their children in this overcrowded environment. Kids get the virus and it will keep spreading till people get some common sense and respect for others.

Great place to have fun with someone else or just get out and get some fresh air. Plus, there's a great place right across the street to grab some fresh vegetables and watermelon... Just got to throw that little gem in there as well. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.
