😠 Terrible place to live. Floods every time it rains. The whole community smells like trash. Management is at best 6th grade drop outs. People will continually enter your home under the guise it was an error on the maintenance department. Save yourself time and look elsewhere. Disgusting. We had an 11 month lease here, and we couldn’t wait for it to end. It started out fine, then slowly things got worse. The office is very short staffed and it takes a very long time to have work orders responded to. We had one open for an issue in our laundry room for MONTHS, where our upstairs neighbor’s pipe busted and leaked down into our apartment - we had a hole in our ceiling almost our entire lease because they never finished fixing it. I don’t think the apartments are well ventilated either because there was a serious mold problem in the showers, windowsills, and in the toilets. To top it off, we moved out earlier this month and still have a rent balance due as they never prorated our last months rent. It’s nearly impossible to get ahold of the office because half the time they’re closed when they’re supposed to be open, the drop box is nailed shut, and the manager never answers the phone or emails. Overall, living here was a pretty terrible experience and I would not recommend it - there are so many other apartments in this area that have to be better managed than this one. And to add, the rent is incredibly high here for the poor quality of these units.

The staff is mostly nice and competent but the actual apartments are disgusting, literally a roach motel. I could post 20+ photos of roaches that my roommate and I found. Management pretty uncaring about it and when my roommate and I called upset about it the lady we spoke with made us seem like we were weird for being upset. Moving out was also insane, we were never given any info about where to leave our keys and they never acknowledged we were moving out. The parking lot has several lights out and at night it is really spooky and unsafe. I would skip living here if at all possible.

We lived there for a year and a month in we were excited to move. Both of my children have asthma and the mold problem is so bad. The maintenance was great, one lived above us. They tried to fix the mold in the windows due to drafty windows. They told ME to go buy caulk to fix the drafty windows because management wouldn’t approve the work order to fix the windows. My husband put a work order in because of the mold came back a few weeks later and I told them forget it. I knew nothing would get done, so I bought the film to put on the windows. Then, we noticed mold growing on the walls in the living area. Like, how? Clearly this is a major health issue and somehow it was my fault. I could understand if it was in the shower but it was growing ON THE WALLS. We moved out early and ate the last few months rent plus our new house mortgage. It was worth it because as soon as we moved, our kids health was perfectly fine. Their doctor was extremely concerned over the mold in that apartment. Once we moved they refused to prorate the last rent. So I paid what Zac told me to, then they gave us a late fee he said would be taken off, which was never refunded and a late notice for moving out even though we let them know months in advance. We also had to pay 3 months water bill that was $60 each month even tho we didn’t live there for those 3 months I understand a smaller bill because water was not turned off but $180 for 3 months is excessive especially when we did not stay there. Not to mention, I complained about the neighbor smoking next door and it was seeping into our apartment. Again, kids with breathing issues. They told them to stop but they didn’t. I was told by maintenance the “lady who lives next door has a son who lives at home and smokes weed and cigarettes all day and he won’t stop” I feel like my concerns were never validated. I do not recommend moving here. I would probably delete this review if they made things right with the amount of money they kept from me, but they’ll make a excuse on why it was never refunded. Mold isn’t my problem anymore, just hope they fix it for future tenants.

I’ve lived at Trinity Lakes for about 5 years. Ownership has changed since I have been here and I have had issues that have mostly been resolved. The best thing about this complex is the maintenance crew! They are outstanding and address maintenance requests promptly. The value for having a 2 bedroom with 2 full baths is good compared to other complexes. Just wish the geese problem would be addressed. I’m very happy with the improvements that are planned for the apartments. Looking forward to the upgrades this year!

I cannot wait until I move out, my lease is up February 25th and they refused to pro rate my rent, I work for the military at home. They constantly put pest control notices on my door for inspection I’m the only one in my section they do this too and if you refuse service they charge you $50. I have a ring camera and cameras in my home pest control came inspected stated they did not see anything and left, because I complained they charged me an extra $50 for no reason, never paid my rent late not once, and I lived here for 2 years I guess I will see them in court because I’m not paying. I feel like they are discriminating against me. They assume all black people that reside here have roaches in their apartments, if you work from home this is not the place for you.

Danielle (Property Manager/Owner) she's very rude, she talks down on her employees in front of residents. She is very unprofessional, she curses on the job in front of residents who bring their kids in and she curses in front of residents kids. She talks down on her employees in front of residents and other staff members. She stood there and flirted with my married father in front of me and flirted with my boyfriend. We were in the office, and looking into renting an apartment, but after what I witnessed and experienced I would never, EVER recommend this place to anyone.

So, when they say weight room and amenities... You can laugh about that, because it's gonna cost you $50 bucks just to get a key to the weight room, your issued one pool bracelet and only one person at a time is allowed to swim in the pool from your apartment. So.. .. seriously who would even enjoy that? One person swimming at a time? We are a family of four???? Our garage was broken into because the one on the end was empty and maintenance just left it open, needless to say criminals entered through that open one and gained access to ours and others that way. No security, no Common sense, and if you need anything, good luck. This place wants money and that's all.

New managment is absolutely atrocious. 0 flexibility. When I signed my lease the "inability to work out of town" was never stated. I have had to return to columbus 3 times in the past month. Once to protect my family after new tenants with domestic violence conviction were moved in next to my wife and infant children, Once to remove trash bag weighing 21.7lbs/25lbs limit that the trash company refused to take for a week leading to a fly and oder problem innthe breeze way And once for a roach issue brough in recently by recent tenants. We have lived here for two years never had a bug problem, with in 2 weeks of their recent move in of clientele, we have roaches. We formed our initial complaint and have bent over backwards to accommodate the management as my 135lbs wife moving item in the house by herself while I work out of town is un feasible. In response to our attempt to accomdate managment, we have been met with a lack of flexibility, short notice of pest control entry, no time of appointment being able to be given, snotty email replys from management. I really don't know what is so hard about understanding that my wife is there with 2 infant children, more than 3 days heads up is needed. We have offered to treat it ourselves, we have offered to do it on weekends when I'm home, we've offered to do the 3 hr mandatory leaving with the kids IF they can arrange an appointment. The management seems to only be able to accomplish complaining about my 2 year olds slide in the breezeway, and attempt to charge me for blinds that aren't replaced because there's 2 kids learning how to walk. The overall disrespect and lack of flexibility to accommodate the simplest of requests makes this the worse complex on west side.

Ever since new management took over, the community has been looking nicer and clean. Danielle is such a wonderful lady and is very helpful. If there’s anything you need help with, she always tries to give you options and tries to find ways to help you and get things done. She really cares to help the residents of this community and it’s rare to find someone like that working at a leasing office. Whitney also works in the leasing office and she’s also very helpful! Ever since new management took over, they have been renovating the apartments and they are coming out fantastic. Also, any work orders or requests that I’ve put in, have gotten done in a timely manner. It’s really nice here and quiet.

Don’t even bother scheduling a tour with them, no one will show up and when you call them it sends you to the corporate office and they don’t help at either. Like literally no one is at their leasing office all day. They had me waiting 2 hours for someone and no one came. There’s more beautiful places to rent from around the area, you have many choices just don’t pick this one.

We have lived at trinity lakes apartments since they took over in January of 2020. It has been anything but a good experience. Our AC went out in March and we submitted a work order March 20th. It is now May 23rd and our AC has yet to be fixed. It has officially been 10 weeks of no AC. Our temperature in our apartment frequently hits 80 degrees and above yet we are still paying our full rent. We have never once missed or been late on a payment and they still don’t feel like our AC or our well-being is a priority. We frequently see maintenance out, they just never come to fix it. We contact them frequently and keep being told it will be fixed this day or that day, yet they never come. Feel free to call the office and be told what you want to hear, but don’t expect them to help or care about giving you the basic amenities that you have been paying for. This why we will never recommend this apartment area to ANYONE and can’t wait to leave.

So far everything has been great. Maintenance orders are completed in the same day 99% of the time. Danielle in the office is always friendly and follows up in the same day with any questions or requests. If I had one complaint it would be about the parking. Sometimes it seems like there aren't enough spots for everyone but other than that it has been smooth sailing since I moved in.

Worst experience I have ever had with any apartment complex. We keep getting the run around about repairing our AC. We're in an apartment with no AC for the past 2 years. New Hvac team are inexperienced like they're hired from Craigslist and they're making false promises. Frankly they are the worst, unprofessional, sorry excuse for a company Trinity lake. They take our rent as soon as the beginning of the month hits but when it comes to repairing our unit they are no where to be found. I'm escrowing our rent. Don't trust a single word from them..

Horrible apartment complex office is never there and car has been tried to be broken into 3 times and locks have been busted off. The kid working in the office cares nothing about his job and is never there or returning call…horrible apartment complex if it’s temporary it’s a solution but anything past 6 months and you will regret staying here.

I lived there for over a year and it is a good deal for what you pay. I am a very busy person though and I would sometimes not be home for days at a time. I would get letters taped on my door to spray for bugs (which I appreciate that they would spray did not want to live with them) but wouldn't get them until the evening and you had one day to move everything to the center of your house and they spray the next day. I would email and explain I needed informed by email or another way because I was not always home and they never did. I would also email and say hey I got this but I can not get everything done in the short time frame. I would get an email back saying that is fine and they would reset for the following week and I did not need to worry as long as it was done then. Next day I had a nasty letter taped to my door and said they fined me 50$ and will continue until it is complete. I called and explained I am not trying to be difficult and more than willing to work with them but I was unable at that short notice and we messaged prior. Danielle from management said nope it had to be done (completely different from the email). I then resent the email showing where we already had it taken care of and only then did they remove my fee. Overall it is cheap and a nice place but you do have to be willing to play games and I would have everything in writing.

BEWARE WHO YOU RENT FROM HERE! I actually rented from a separate company but it was Citation Club. They charged the most outrageous amounts for electric bc they went through a private company that could legally charge any amount that they wanted. This was a tiny 2 bedroom apt & see electric bill could very over $300 a month! Then when my lease ran out, after living there for over 3 years, & I wanted the hell out of there, they put that I was evicted by them & then also by the actual owner of the apartment building itself!

Definitely NOT a good place to live. It is riddled with crime so very unsafe especially since there is very little lighting. It is extremely noisy. Parking lot floods alot. No amenities. Office staff is rude, not knowledgeable, unprofessional, lose paperwork, make the entire process difficult, & "pass the buck" so to speak because each renter/unit has ONLY 1 person assigned to handle every aspect of your time living here so if your person isn't working that day or quits, nothing gets done, you lose time, it's a hassle that is extremely frustrating, & turnover with maintenance staff, office staff, & management is ALWAYS extremely high which I believe is on purpose so they don't have to do anything, delay doing it, frustrate you to the point of moving out, & ultimately either blame you for it or someone else rather than admitting what they did wrong. The only thing they want is your $$$. They DO NOT CARE about their residents or the property. Section 8 has won the lottery, moved in, taken over the property, & ruined it. You will not have good, caring, respectful neighbors. The inner city ghetto-ness has taken over the west side of Columbus beginning with the literally stupid office staff including the managers to the maintenance staff who mostly look like criminals except maybe the Supervisor Joe.

I've asked to use my own nitrogen to replace my air conditioner. They hire guys great at fixing things. Then make them learn HVAC on YouTube. They use broken ruined coils with new air conditioners. With old refrigerant that will ruin the new refrigerant and air conditioner. It says not to on the new unit. I've waited over a month but had nitrogen to test the lineset which was the apartments lie. All of these apartments need their coil cleaned. It why the units almost work.

We appalled for an apartment for a specific move in date (they had one available) paid our fees and was set to move in on that specific date. Two days after getting our confirmation email we get a call. The apartment we applied for will not be ready on the expected date. But two weeks later. Our move in date was set for our move out date at our old place. We would have never applied giving them 50$ just to apply for the apartment if they had been straight with us and let us know up front they had nothing available. We lost 50$ and are scrambling to find another place to live. I do not recommend these apartments to anyone. They will screw you over the first chance they get. On the up side they refunded our administration fee.

I have lived in this comes for almost 7 years. The new management is amazing! Especially Danielle in the office. She is the best property manager ever. They made the complex the cleanest and safest, I have ever seen it. Maintenance comes as soon as they can and fixes issues on the first try. I love living here again and will be here a long time.

Leasing office was really rude. They were unprofessional in handling their mistake. We asked a week ago on how to get out of our lease she only emphasized on the money aspect and never on how they could make the place better. Not to mention that she looked up our leasing agreement and said we would be breaking it. A week later we received a letter that our lease was up by the end of this month. We went in today to ask about. Apparently they didn’t have the lease. She denied having the lease when we talked to her last. She ripped up the letter we had received and kicked us out of the leasing office. We complained about this confusion and how confusing it was for us when she said a week ago from her own mouth that our lease was up at the end of this year. Extremely unprofessional. I understand they bought these buildings in November. But triple check everyone’s lease before sending out letters that our lease were up when it wasn’t. She even ripped up the letter never apologizing for their mistake and only yelled when we were correcting their mistake.

I visited the property a few weeks back. I was very impacted by the young lady’s in the office. They were under construction but both still had smiles on their faces. Their maintenance guy a big man was also all smiles. The lady’s were so excited about the upcoming renovations and both offered me to come back to tour their model when completed. From the looks of the office that was in progress it looks like it will be very well maintained. I even drove through to see if it was clean and it looked like it. I noticed some broken blinds and gutters but they spoke on how all of that will be fixed in the future. I can’t wait to return in late March and hopefully apply, and look forward to the smiling faces that will greet me. Great work ladies and great work to your staff for keeping the complex clean.

I want to say a huge thank you to our management team and to our wonderful maintenance worker Tim! He is a very nice person , very knowledgeable about maintenance issues and efficient. This is a better place to live because of our new management and maintenance department. I do want to say that we have been having problems with tenants who sit out in our parking lot playing their car stereos at all hours of the night while people are trying to sleep. This is rude and inconsiderate and I would like to see this issue addressed. And dog owners in our complex have not been picking up the waste after their pets. IT IS TOTALLY INCONSIDERATE AND LAZY OF THESE PET OWNERS TO NOT FOLLOW THROUGH WITH CLEANING UP AFTER THEIR DOGS.

Great place to live! Hi I've lived here for going on 4 years. I have just recently bought a home and I've given my notice to the new management of the complex. The new management is great and haven't had one issue like I did with the old management. Danielle Rundio is the property manager and there's no one better every issue I've had she's taken care of in a timely and efficient manner. Thank you!

This Management has been very intrusive in the middle of a Pandemic. They consistently want to enter our apartment which is fine in itself but to have people walking through my home without gloves or a mask while I have an infant in the home is very irresponsible.

I relocated back to Columbus from Florida at the end of March. I visited once, applied the next day, was approved the next. The move in was easy and quick which surprised me. After moving in, filling out the move in inspection form, and then finding things after, I submitted requests to have them taken care of. Everything has been done. I also have gotten a new dog and they are great with her. She has gotten to know everyone from the property manager to the maintenance guys and loves them all! I just wish more complexes paid more attention to their residents as Trinity Lakes does. You guys rock!

I have lived here since 2011. I cannot say enough great things about our management staff, office staff and maintenance team. When you need help with things the office staff responds to text messages and phone call and follow up. The property manager is nice and she does a great job! Tim and Dominic are the maintenance team and are sonics and keep things working properly and our area looks clean! The only thing I do not appreciate is there is a few of my neighbors who pkay theircar stereos full tilt at night sitting outin the parking lot. This is rude and offensive when oeopke are trying to sleep. The amenities are good.A swimming pool that is clean, a walking path around the pond and a work out room.

Okay, so when I first moved in to my apartment in July I had every issue under the SUN!! The leasing office was rude and so unhelpful. It blew my mind how unorganized they were. Recently my area on Acree lane has gotten a new owner. I believe their company is called RUME. I can honestly say they have completely flipped my mindset. The woman I have worked closer with in the leasing office is Danielle Rundio (property manager). She is so sweet, understanding, and very easy to talk to. Every time I speak to her I KNOW something will be fixed in a respectful amount of time. She takes care of things before there is even an issue and I cannot be more happy. I WILL be renewing here!

I live at this place now going on three years with a new lease upcoming. yes, I am one upset mother of two children. I’ve had a broken window(In my sons room, who is about two years old now) since I moved in. I’ve been telling the office people but it seems that they only move when they want to. As of right now there’s been two different glass companies to replace my window, when they come out and get the measurements they ghost the office. which is weird there’s not enough consistency or professionalism in there to obviously get the kid done. Of course that’s why I’ve been calling them numerous times,(I gave the office people their time, their chance and everything. I’ve been very patient and that has ran out.) I’m just Being given the next excuse out the door. I felt the Office people could’ve worked a little harder then what they did Besides, giving me the runaround. And telling their maintenance crew things last minute that I have already told the office people like a week in advance, not very professional. And the whole consistency with the phone calls should be throughout the whole workday and not just certain hours. So I can get updated information and not have to call almost all the time. As far as the maintenance crew, they’re the best they fill in more information then the office at times. One of the maintenance men actually went out of their way and ordered the glass they sell for my window which is mainly What the office was supposed to do Props to the maintenance man he needs a raise. Because I’ve been asking to get this window fixed for almost 2 years now. I shortly then told the office people I was going to put my rent into escrow and they said that wasn’t going to do nothing(But on the other hand, that escrow is going to rack up some fees on this apartment complex until they get my window fixed that’s the point) and there would be an eviction notice on my door, Like, how does that honestly make sense when I’ve been trying to get a broken window fixed for two years now and it’s your responsibility. And it’s just this little itty-bitty window. I would have no other problem besides that. Like my son gets sick a few times a year from this window being cracked And you can feel the breeze come in. The way you guys communicate in that office is ridiculous…. And the photo attached was when I first moved and I can give A updated photo if needed.
