Great place to eat! I love the Mac and cheese. Had the fish sandwich and it was amazing! The chicken and waffles are unmatched! The chicken was made from mushrooms and there’s none other like it!

Great little cafe! I have been here before but under a different name/owners so it was good to be back. Sweet people greeted us as we entered. I thought they had espresso drinks, which they do not, but that was ok as we enjoyed a delicious turmeric latte! The pop tarts were delicious too—warmed up for us. Definitely a great business to support. We’ll come back ands try the food next time, thanks!

Wow, sitting here eating this meal reminded me of what great food taste like since my vegan culinary skills are at novice to non existent. This place is 100% plant based. I experienced the oyster and waffle combo. My word, this was s beyond delicious. My brain was upset that my taste buds were too slow in sharing the experience. My stomach couldn't keep up! A hidden gem with staying power because it has the taste, the music and the vibes. 🤤

The best vegan sandwich that I ever had. The fried fish is so tasty with astonishing texture and flavor. The waffle is cooked just right crunchy outside and soft inside. The sweetness is perfectly right. Will definitely come back again.

Delicious food. Even if your not vegan/vegetarian. Different concept...menu viewed/paid via bar code...which also tells you if they are sold out of said item. I think to not waste food. A limited serving amounr is made. I had the 3 bean chili and Yukon fries it was delicious! My cousins had the chicken and waffles and the other the seitan bacon, just eggs and grits. You will not be disappointed. I was apprehensive but pleasantly surprised.

I absolutely loved this place. It was pretty busy so I'd advise preordering. Only one of the food preparers was masked but I don't know the guidelines in Ohio. The food and service was outstanding though. I will 100 percent come back next time I'm in Columbus.

The food is excellent and the staff are friendly. The only downside is the long wait time. I ordered ahead, but my meal was ready 20 minutes after the stated time (I’ve been here about 5 times and the wait has been long every time). I wouldn’t go here if you want to pick up a quick bite. But if you have time to relax and wait, I recommend it.

Absolutely DELICIOUS! This was my first time visiting and won't be my last. Super cute small vegan spot. They're known for their chicken and waffles but I was just a tad late because they were sold out. I got the breakfast burrito, tater tots, and a cocoa mint juice. Everything was on point. The burrito was filling without being heavy, the tots were perfectly crispy, the juice was nice and light. Staff was warm and welcoming. Talked a few customers and they were also raving, some weren't even vegans! Definitely do yourself a favor and stop in. 😋🤤

If yall don't come out here and try this incredibly epic place, you are behind! Not only is the food some of the best vegan food I've ever had, the staff/owners are a class in their own. This is the future yall. Im so glad I found them while here on business. Customer for life.

This is my first time going to life style cafe. I order the kale salad. This is the best vegan salad I have had since I became vegan. Oh my goodness. The kale was fresh, no brown leaves, crunchy, ingredients were fresh. You young ladies keep up the good work. Please. The restaurant was pretty clean. The atmosphere was wonderful. I shall return. Thank you for opening a restaurant that caters to the non meat eaters. Have tried the pop tart yet. Oh, the matcha latte was delicious 😋 😍✌🏽✌🏽

Nice staff, cool interior and great concept but not quite there with the menu, more a Fast food offering of Plant based store bought products. The food and coffee sadly let this place down, while it was plant based, sadly it was packet (junk) food cooked and served in very small portions and the coffee was very generic and bland. We had the Sausage Melt, which was very bland and basically Beyond Sausage with plant based cheese, very wet and non descript flavors served in a tiny portion. Now I am all for Portion control, but this should also be reflected in the price. Would I go back, well possibly but only for a quick grab and go fast food style bite to eat, if you want a more scratch cooked creative style plant based option I suggest trying else where.

As someone that is transitioning into a "Less-atarian" (less red meat, less dairy, less sugar, etc) finding healthy options that aren't short on flavor is a TOP PRIORITY to me and LIFESTYLE CAFE nailed it!! Even though they only do Shrimp n Grits on Sat/Sun, (what i initially came for) the shrimp quesadilla I ordered was amazing and the portion was respectable. Nestled in the bustling OTE neighborhood, right across from another neighborhood favorite "Our Bar" its easily accessible from the freeway and theres ample FREE street parking. Anyone from Columbus knows this in itself is priceless but couple that with a welcoming atmosphere and great food options. You really cant go wrong by adding this to your List of Columbus' Best Places to grab a healthy alternative.

Do yourself a favor and stop at this amazing restaurant. The chikn n waffles and chili were phenomenal. This restaurant was cozied up on a corner in Columbus and I was so glad I stopped here. The drinks were very good and I was appreciative the staff was able to help me with suggestions to help with my experience. I love this place and wish I lived much much closer.

I have been wanting to eat here since I read about this place. My family and I stopped by yesterday and ate on the patio with our pup. My son, a meat eater loves the sausage melt. My husband got the chicken and waffles, which we all tried and it was my favorite out of all three things we ordered. I got a BLT that was also delicious. The service was top notch and this is a place I look forward to trying again!

This place! It’s a little off the beaten path, but SO worth the trip. We were promptly and kindly greeted by the chef, who talked us through the basics. The menu was expansive - lots of options and everything sounded tasty. We placed our order and found seats in the small dining room. BLT, a kale-avocado-sloppy joe wrap, and loaded fries (with Buffalo sauce, chopped green onions, and a homemade ranch dressing) were all 100% vegan and absolutely delicious. Service was prompt, and they were super accommodating with all our requests. We can’t wait to return!

Finally got a chance to try out this restaurant and they did not disappoint. This small cafe is laid back and casual with refined plates crafted with care. The food was absolutely delicious! The staff at this semi-service joint were courteous and attentive, answered all our questions and addressed all our concerns (we had some dietary restrictions/allergies in our group). Will definitely recommend this restaurant to vegans and meat eaters alike. Already looking forward to me next visit.

The food is absolutely delicious. Like, top tier. and I love seeing these Black women thrive in this space! The only reason I can’t give it five stars is because the wait times are 30min or longer. I’ve visited about five times so far (LOVE the Taco options) and every single time, no matter how far in advance I make my order, I’m late to work because the food is never ready when I arrive. I’ve called 35min in advance before, knowing they take a while and I still waited an additional 15min when I got there. The CP time, though, is not enough to make me never go back 😂🫶🏽 I know they’re still just getting started. The atmosphere is nice, too.

Owner greeted us at the door and helped us get situated. They were out of kale so they gave us free cookies for the inconvenience! The owner's daughters were helping out and all the clientelle seemed to know one another. Definitely recommend going here. Amazing!

went here to pick up an order for doordash they said that the order had already been picked up but did nothing to rectify the problem I had to end up calling the customer she had not received her food I had to end up calling doordash the owner said for them to just cancel the order what kind of damn customer service is that no I will never go there to pick up another order it was a waste of my energy time and gas

We found this place while visiting from out of town. The food was incredible, the coffee was wonderful, and everyone was so friendly and helpful! It was such an amazing experience we will definitely come back whenever we visit again.

Food was great! Staff was friendly and very helpful. We ordered the patty melt, chicken and waffles with oyster mushrooms (I hate mushrooms) but LOVED it! We also ordered the loaded fries, chili, and buffalo chicken balls. Flood was very flavorful. I’ll definitely be returning!

I had Taco toast and my 9yr old had the melt we ordered the Buffalo bites and loaded fries to go. Everything was great! The also took 2 oatmeal pies to go. Our house of 6 has one vegan but we all enjoy vegan eating. This is a must visit for anyone looking for a great meal vegan or not!

Lifestyle deserves nothing but a 5 star rating! We had their vegan Buffalo chicken bites, taco toast( delicious and unique!) and the lifestyle fries. Probably the best tasting and curated plant based dishes I’ve ever had. While visiting Columbus we stumbled upon this cafe. Nice small outdoor patio. Hardly any inside seating in case you wish to dine during the colder months.

Very good food. Definitely worth the visit. Portions are a little small, though, so you might need to get more than one item.

Let me start by saying the food tasted great. The flavor profiles that they have created really well together. I was so excited to come to this place and support a small local black business and it was vegan so I was super pumped. My friend and I were visiting Columbus and this place came with great reviews. We walked in and it was beautiful in the inside, it was very homey, I liked it. Unfortunately they gave an unwelcoming impression . I said hello and didn’t receive a response, they didn’t even try to establish rapport like “ have you been here before”, this is how it works” etc. nothing. Customer service was lacking and the food presentation and portion size was disappointing. I had the chikn n waffles. Think 4 waffles minis like leggo my eggo and then bite size pieces of chikn. The whole meal could have been hearty appetizer, but they charged $15. My friend had the BLT and it was thin and the bread wasn’t toasted.It was sad and it was $12 The lady next to us ordered a sandwich and soup and saw what it looked like and went in, to I’m sure complain. I’m disappointed that i paid so much and I’m still hungry and I even tipped because I wanted to support. I’m so disappointed. Maybe they’re just not consistent and your experience will be different. We’re on the way to a new restaurant. ..
