a real jrk for a manager ! 'Power hungry' ruins people and friendships 😡🙄 if you're a cute girl even ifbidbis fake you are in , you can be under age , obvious fake IDs and get in, drink alcohol, but if you dont pass the managers approval you're not getting in. Apparently if you have neck tattoos, even if they are covered up, you are bad and not allowed in lol. I won't be surprised when minorities turn them in for being turned away from the white club. Discrimination is alive and well there

Very discriminatory to people with face tattoos I walked up and paid for me and my girlfriend they said she was not allowed in because of a face tattoo. I paid the bouncer and they gave me my money back and we’re very rude to me and my friends. I wouldn’t recommend going here at all.

Worst experience ever. Three dudes (bouncers) were standing outside watching us walk up. They said we had to go around the gate to be let in. When we got to them they said they couldn’t let us in because of the shoes my friend had on. She had Jordan’s on. This was after two of the dudes (bouncers one guy with blonde hair and blue eyes and the other had curly hair and was Mexican) looked me and my friend up and down. Starts to make me think we didn’t get let in because of what we looked like. A lot of discrimination at this place and people need to start getting fired. Do better.

Had a good time there. Staff and security were really nice and helpful. No one seemed to have any issues with anything. Drinks are around $6-$10. They make ‘em strong without a doubt so you’ll probably be good after your third and going blind at your fourth. $10 bucks to enter if you don’t go to OSU. Wear jeans and a belt. They seem to be particular about it here and there. Good place to hang with friends or meet new people other than that!

I feel like meh. For the 21+ I felt they let in a lot of underage people. Music was good, sad the DJ doesn't take request. I'm glad I pre-gamed before hand $10 a shot ain't worth it.

My friends and I tried to go have a fun night out and they wouldn’t let our 2 friends in because one had a hand tattoo and one had crocks on. The rules don’t say anything abt a shoe policy or anything about not being allowed on bc of tattoo. It’s is literally jus a heart with an eye in it. This place is racist And discriminates you for your tattoos. They let the girls infront of us go in and they had flip flops/ sandals on. Will never be returning there!

refused to let me in because my ID photo shows me with longer hair. I’m trans and now my hair is shorter. I asked the bouncer to ask me anything about my ID and I could answer and he said no. Transphobic. I’ve been there hundreds of times since i got my haircut and had no issues. Absolutely unacceptable

Asked if this place was college students and they said anyone was welcomed. Drive an hour to come here and got turned away because my best friend isn’t college age, said there was an age limit. This place is a joke and serving alcohol to underage kids

This business has an entrance that is easily accessible and stays accessible throughout busy crowds. There is no steps nor ramp but it is a straight smooth shot into the doors and they are wide enough for a wheelchair if needed. The area inside is wide and open and has many tables with the opportunity for any seating arrangements that need be. The restrooms are open and have two handicapped stalls. The bars are large enough with plenty of space for employees of needed to have various forms of accessibility as well as customers. The employees at the door as well as at the bar were very accommodating and welcoming as well as being very proud to say they are 100% accessible. Parking is difficult though with it being off a busy road where a few street parking spots are available but not necessarily a parking lot. Everything falls on one floor for the most part except for the music booths.

They lifted up the hoodie and shirt of my son and said he “was sagging” and wouldn’t let him in. My beautiful daughter was allowed in after “ breaking a rule” of leaving the club and then returning without paying again.

This place doesn’t let you in if you wear Jordan’s ,timberlandas, crocs, don’t have a belt , have a neck tattoo even if it’s a small one behind your neck and so much more. Very lame and when I looked at their face book it’s literally Groups of white people. Not one different race. Check for yourself and have a good day.

We paid to get in! Someone on the staff threw away our drink, and our full waters when our back were turned. My boyfriend went and told the bartender what had happened, then she told security we had to leave. So we got kicked out for no reason, security couldn’t even tell us what happened and why we got kicked out! Security should at least know why we were getting kicked out. All they said was she said you guys gotta go! Never go here, a waste of money.

My girlfriend got denied service because she had a tank top on and a tattoo behind her ear. They didn’t even give her a chance to give them her ID. They just immediately told her she wasn’t allowed in. Not surprised… given that it was a white dude and his own co worker said he was an a$$hole.

They denied me and my husband because I asked a question and the person at the door got offended. They said I couldn't go in because I had slides on but have gone many times before with slides.

The place that keeps on changing. I left a review once – they changed their DJ after I put it up. I feel compelled to leave another one again since stuff has changed. 18+ audiences deserve much better without having to break the law by getting a fake ID. On average, it's satisfactory. It does get better, but I definitely can see the other side. It's an okay place, but 18+ audiences deserve much better than this alone. It is the biggest bar I know of in Central Ohio, and luckily (at least as of now) no one has to pay cover until 10PM. The DJ has changed again, and while it is nowhere near comparable to DJs like the big names of Cedric Gerivas or Sickick, or even local DJs from Northern California like Jimmy Hits and Dayvie, the style has definitely improved. I just wish that the DJ would not just be robot-like, interact with the crowd, look like he's having fun instead of standing like a statue or an office worker. I think this place needs to do better when it comes to posting house rules. A sign should be put up saying what we can and can't wear. ATMs at the venue are hit or miss. The place bans males from wearing sagging pants (requiring all men to wear belts), and it does seem like that bouncers, while extremely nice to me as well as the most feminine guests and respectful men, seem a little bit unprofessional. I doubt that there will be too much change given that the owner of Bulls additionally owns Standard, Big Bar, and numerous other locations in the Columbus area. When I lived in San Francisco, I was spoiled in nightlife with choice, opportunity, humanity, and liveliness. Here, I only get the latter two. In order for this place to recover from the reputation that it has, I would urge management to consider theming nights a little bit more, improving transparency when it comes to house rules, improving security with pat-downs to prevent something or someone REALLY bad from coming in, and providing more amenities than just an arcade-style punching game. Consider even a major expansion in opening a second DJ room (based on what I here about the ownership they can more than afford), offering free water, and switching up the DJ a bit more other than just one resident. Additionally look at a deep cleaning and a full-scale renovation.

Would not let my friend in over a neck tattoo of a rose. Will let underage girls in though and discriminate against people that are just trying to have a drink.

Wow! A place of majesty and love. Every time I walk into this glorious establishment I’m reminded of the fun and joy of my nights here. Nowhere else can you get puked on and have watered down drinks and still be in love with the place. Nothing beats Bullwinkles bar and grill at Ohio state. Long live Bulls!

As a member of the lgbtq+ coming I was treated like like I wasn’t welcomed. It’s “ladies only”. Ok and? Very upsetting, and I advise any lgbtq+ individuals to steer clear. The Herero men will ruin your night faster than you can say “hey”

They are very discriminative of what you wear. Jordan’s are not allowed as if they are going to harm someone. Doesn’t make sense. They seem to pick and choose who they want in their place.

Bouncer is the worst human being. White guy with long hair on a power trip, evey night it's some other stuff. Oh you're sagging, oh you got a beard, what does that even mean. I didn't get in last time because I didn't want to be marked with sharpie for one bad night with children. Is it not customary to use stamps that wash off instantly??? Nah to enter the prestigious and well esteemed bulls you have to be marked for a few days with a sharpie right on top of your hand!!! Bro I got work in the morning. The name is a perfect indicator of how the bouncers treat u, like bull.

This is the best damn club/bar I think the managers are great! Bouncers are great! Everyone says they are not fair here but it’s only the people who act stupid that don’t get in, black white or any color any gender , if you act like an idiot you don’t get in period point blank. Dj is awesome , drinks awesome , very fun time

Horrible place to go to will stereotype you on how you look. Will ban you if the bouncers just don’t like you. Horrible way of a running a business asked multiple times why I’m not aloud in and keep saying the same thing. That boss won’t let me in . Never did anything wrong just went in 1 day and they said I’m not aloud horrible place of business.

Most disgusting, grimy, unkept establishment to exist on this earth, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Where would I be without bulls?? Smarter, more successful, healthier, but definitely not happier. The things I’d do to pay 7 dollars for another watered down vodka cran and dance to the same 10 songs on bulls playlist. If you haven’t been to bulls, you haven’t lived.

Bouncers are rude to everybody and have over the top rules. Don't have a belt? Can't get in. Have face tats? Can't get in. Wearing a plain white shirt? Can't get in. Bartenders are a little less rude, but there's still a couple who are just as bad as the bouncers.

Waiter demanded tip and refused to serve until we tip. There is no law in the US that says it’s mandatory to tip in any state. And with a staff mentality and worst service like that I am never going to this place let alone tipping.

The floors were sticky, the tables were sticky and they literally just opened, there was a gigantic hole in the wall & a gnat flew into my drink. I only stayed for 10 minutes then left I couldn’t do it anymore.

Came from Canada to visit my boyfriend and friends and we were confused why every time we walk by this place it looks empty whereas other local bars that are so much smaller have HUGE lines every night. Expected to pay at least a $30 cover for three of us to get in on a Friday night but we were told the bouncer had to hold my phone while I take out $5.00 cash at their ATM inside in order to get inside since I’m not a student at OSU. Not an issue except for the ATM didn’t work for any of us, the people in line in front of us or the people behind us. The gentleman in front of us had to break a $100 bill to pay a $5.00 cover and it looked like the broad behind the bar paid him in one dollar bills? We asked the bartender if they did cash back or could add the $5.00 to our bar tab we were about to open and we got attitude from us and were told no so we went to one of the smaller nearby bars and fully understand why this place looks dead from the street now. What a joke of an establishment, all for $5.00? Our bar tab would have been over ten times that by the end of the night but yes, turn away everyone who doesn’t have a buck id and ignore the fact your ATM is busted and get annoyed when paying customers who would also be tipping you by the end of the night ask for assistance.

After last night I am very upset about what transpired. I was profiled and was told I did something I did not do. Well instead of the bouncer talking to me and telling me what I supposedly did wrong he used force . By force I mean my hair was pulled , and his hands went around my neck. I don’t know what happened to this place but it does not give what it needs to give anymore and I understand why they’re so empty now .

  • 1/5 Matthew B. 7 months ago on Google • 2 reviews
$5 for my non-OSU student girlfriend to get in. Fair, but we didn’t have cash, so we were willing to get some from the ATM inside (they hold your phone hostage while you do this) only to be given errors to several different cards that we tried between the three of us. So we then try to get cash back from the bar, and they don’t allow that either. Got attitude from the bartender in the process of asking about this. Other reviews suggest that this wasn’t just a one-off experience… small bar by our apartment is much better! No wonder the line was tiny. Don’t waste your time.

I went on my 18th birthday lost my phone and my wallet there, they refused to let us come back in a get it. The bouncer had told us to come back Monday. We went and they where closed we looked on the website and it was not open till Thursday. So we waited till Thursday and they where still closed. So they need to change there website I didn’t go back up until Saturday because I live about a hour and a half away. So I made 3 trips total, just for them to say it’s not there. But there’s buckets and buckets full of phones and wallets. And mine is just “gone” Weird thing is life 360 still says my phones a bullwinkles still Weird right
