Delicious coffee! The toasted coconut iced latte with almond milk was fantastic! Thank you!

Yes, I would call my wife and I coffee snobs. We are picky and like a good cup. We have traveled the world and have had many great cups of coffee. The coffee was weak and lacked any good qualities. If you are looking for a place to study or to compose a few emails, great, but just don't expect a great cup of coffee...

The coffee was good and the staff friendly, but the pastries were so dry I nearly choked. I had a cheddar scone and chocolate muffin, both pretty bad. The furniture was utilitarian and very geared for getting people in and out, not comfortable for staying a while.

One-line is a great place for coffee! The Baristas are super friendly, and helpful with the menu. There always seems to be room for studying, or room to sit down and chat with others.

Great location in the short north. Kyoto cold brew is one of the best I've ever had. Definitely grab one of you're nearby!

This is a small charming coffee shop with a nice vibe. Delicious coffee, tasty treats, and is even pet friendly. Price and service are both friendly.

Very nice place. Comfy and quaint place to have a cup of your favorite coffee or tea. The Blueberry scone was really good too. 🙂

Unique coffee shop that offers craft coffee options. It’s a very chill place to get some work done. Seems like a very safe space for all types of personalities. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. It’s a great place to get your fancy coffee fix if you’re in town.

An adorable and quaint coffee shop in downtown Columbus. The signature Milligan’s maple latte was amazing and extremely flavorful! Coffee cake was soft, crumbly and a delicious pair to my latte. The staff was very friendly, hard working and made my stop here pleasant! I will absolutely come back again!

My favorite coffee shop after spending 10+ years exploring Columbus! This place is the best, no question. They know their stuff and they only but good beans. They consistently have their espresso blend in the bar as well as two single origins of you want to mix it up. They also have wonderful cold Brew and 3 to 4 options for pour overs. A few of these guys compete regionally and have made it to Nationals for Brewers Cup. Worth the wait when there is a line. This isn't Starbucks though, they don't have all the syrups, but if you're used to lattes with a lot of syrup, I highly recommend trying their mocha or their honey latte.... Still give them a try.

Maple Latte for the win - was on the sweeter side for those that like their lattes extra sweet. Good vibes!

Really nice coffee shop featuring a lot of local roasts. We had a mocha and a chai eggnog latte. Both were excellent. The service staff was great. Very friendly. Overall atmosphere was very casual and welcoming. Highly recommend

Incredibly interesting lab for coffee, behind the base of the coffee shop and barista with amazing energy you can find a coffee lab in the back. These people are mastering the art of brewing! Coffee tasted amazing, we got honey almond late as well as salted caramel, in my opinion salty caramel was little too slaty to taste the actual coffee. Other than that great experience!

Good coffee tasty pastries. However the staff acts like you are bothering them when you order. I came in and was there only order they had. And they took their time while they talked.

Always fresh, always good. From hot chocolate to a tasty café mocha. Give them a go, you will not be disappointed.

Easily the most delicious muffin I’ve ever had. Blueberry btw. My fiancée didn’t even share a bite of the tomato basil scone. Very out of character for her usual “hey try this” lifestyle. The honey latte was a solid 8.5… out of 5! Great music. Super clean. Super friendly service. Do yourself a favor.

I frequent the Franklinton location, but this was my first time to the short north location. I will say that if you're traveling to either, I would still choose the Franklinton location, parking is easier and they make food there, really, really good food. They have only a small selection of pastries at this location. Being in the Short North, there's a lot around if you're trying to go to a few places, but parking is a pain if you just want a coffee. I had a shot of espresso and a chocolate muffin. Espresso was good, if not a touch sour. I had to get the Method espresso as the single origin was not dialed in. I did appreciate them letting me know this and not just serving a bad shot though. The chocolate muffin tasted good, but was dry. The best part about this location is that it is where they do their coffee education. I attended a cupping lead by Corey and it was a great experience. It was my first cupping and interesting to see the process. The coffees were mostly great or at least very interesting. I still believe one line has the best coffee in the city and highly recommend attending a cupping or class here. For coffee and food, I still prefer the Franklinton location.

horrible. I used to frequent here pre-pandemic but would always just get my go-to americano. I often felt it was overpriced and watered down. Yesterday I decided to stop by for an oat milk hot chocolate and it was worse than I had expected. Didn't feel like it was mixed well, was clumpy and tasted super flat - I had to chuck it in the bin a few sips in. What a waste of $5.40. Don't know what will compel me to come back in future when there are better joints in the vicinity

Simply one of the best coffee shops in Columbus! Their beans are just so flavorful! Although I have tried better places (but much more expensive), this is definitely the best place for the price!! Couldn't recommend it more!

  • 5/5 Franklin C. 2 years ago on Google
For being so curated and thoughtful with different single origin coffees that you would think they'd be more expensive. We got two absolutely delicious central American pour overs for $6 and change, and it was a great place to be. Skilled and thoughtful staff, welcoming environment, great coffee. Would make a point to come back here when I'm in town.

  • 2/5 Travis J. 2 years ago on Google
Coffee is pretty good but wouldn’t go here to get any work done. The baristas were talking incredibly loud and you only get two hours of wi-fi access with a purchase

  • 1/5 Orlando S. 2 years ago on Google
What would it be if we have a better experience in local coffee store than a franchise; I think we never know. Waited a half hour for a small coffee, they didn't ask the size, and they were not careful.

  • 5/5 Mathuaerknedam !. 6 months ago on Google
Espresso was great. This now makes three cities where I've found espresso that isn't overextracted. There wasn't as much body as I'd like, but that could be due to the single-origin I chose. (Or maybe I should see if I can get a ristretto.) I'll be back next time I'm passing through Columbus. I also got a bag of nguisse nare, which has made excellent espresso at home.

Very pleasant independent coffee shop right in downtown Columbus in the short north shopping and entertainment district. Stylish interior with exposed brick and an industrial feel with a variety of seating options including counters and tables. Very good coffee and a selection of pastries and breakfast items. Staff is friendly.

What a great find! I loved the atmosphere of this coffee shop. I ordered the maple iced latte and it was amazing! It had just the right amount of sweetness. I usually have to put extra sugar when I order coffee from other places, but not this one! I never drank a latte so fast!

  • 5/5 K. S. 2 years ago on Google
Nice place. I like their lattes and they usually have some interesting light roasts that my partner (who drinks coffee black) enjoys. I'll be excited when they are able to bring back the cupping labs. They're also easy to get in contact with.

  • 5/5 Larry L. 2 years ago on Google
What a great experience! I have just started my journey in quality coffee. The staff was amazingly helpful explaining the types of roasts and how to get the most of the coffee at home. Highly recommended and will definitely stop again!

I enjoyed the tomato basil scone and the honey latte was perfect in regards to sweetness. Nice place for a quick bite to eat and/or coffee if you're exploring the downtown area.

  • 5/5 Maddie C. 1 year ago on Google
I always have a good experience here due to their great service and delicious drinks. During the fall, their cider is a must-try and is steeped with tea, giving it a more unique flavor. I've also tried their chai latte, cold brew, and various lattes (hot and cold), all of which I enjoyed. The atmosphere inside is great as well and the baristas are friendly. The only downside is that it can be a bit pricey, but is well worth it in my opinion.

  • 5/5 Lana F. 3 years ago on Google
Truly the best coffee! Walked 40 mins to get here and it was well worth it. My fiancée and I are both coeliac and were dying to try this place. It did not disappoint. The bagels were absolutely stuffed with delicious filling and the price was so good.

Best latte I have had in a long time. Highly recommend getting the Honey Latte. Not super sweet, but delightful! .I also had a lemon muffin, huge and crumbly and delicious!

  • 3/5 Luis M. 8 months ago on Google
Creamer was spoiled. I showed the Barista all the floating chunks of curdled cream in my coffee and explained it was undrinkable. He shrugged his shoulders, took the creamer bottle and continued working, never offering to replace my cup. In the trash it went. It was my first time here and my last. I’d never give a business just one star and before adding creamer, my coffee really did smell amazing. So three stars seems fair. Thanks.

Iced maple latte was so tasty! Wish I lived closer so I could try more! Will be ordering coffee beans to make some at home! Small shop, very cute, not a lot of space to sit, quite a few employee & you could tell they were feeling the pressure. Didn’t feel too welcoming - we grabbed our coffee to go, but it was delicious!

The coffee was terrible. I ordered the 12oz which has the same amount of espresso as the larger one and when I got it I couldn't taste any coffee. You are paying for hot milk.

  • 5/5 Adam C. 3 years ago on Google
There are many good coffee shops in Columbus, but by far, one line is my favorite. The coffee is the best in the city imo especially if you’re into drinking coffee straight. Many of their coffee beans have an aromatic quality to them, and the taste is usually complex enough to where you will find multiple flavor profiles. The environment of the short north location is also cozy and a great place to study or meet up with friends or colleagues. Anytime my family and/or friends visit for the first time, I like to take them on both the Columbus ale trail and the coffee trail. Every member always choose one line as their favorite coffee shop.

I hope all of you find the time to read this. Thank you. As a new coffee drinker of course I’m trying many roasters and shops around and in Columbus. One Line will always stand out and has moved to the top of my charts. The coffee is phenomenal, but the service, care and support is even greater. The cleanliness of the shop; the warmth of the staff; the selection of beans; merchandise and apparel is well thought out, and at a very fair price point. It’s not my intention to be patronizing, but most of us take a sip of coffee and say, “wow that’s good”, but I challenge you to think of the entire process from the origin source to the retail shop. Roasters/shops like One Line care about their product, and don’t pump it out with ONLY the intentions of high-volume- like some long lined corporate chains. This is why quality and taste from a true roaster hales triumphant in the bean battle. It’s why you wake up early to swoop on a parking spot for a quick cup before work. It makes you wanna brew at home, because you now have the main ingredient to create something consistently pleasing. One Line has many options in store and online. If you’d like to brew at home order bags. If you’d like to stop in the shop when you’re in the area you have a vast variety of drink and brew options. Everything about One line is extremely likable and in fact even LOVABLE.

Solid coffee spot. Because of covid, the set up isn’t ideal. It seems like it’d be a great spot to hang out during normal times though. Good spro. Friendly baristas.

Great place to sit and enjoy a coffee, very cozy place. It is a little smaller and when alot of people are in there it can kinda feel little crowded, but overall nice place to grab a cup of coffee either by yourself or with a friend.

  • 4/5 M Z. 4 years ago on Google
Cool place, but why is it most boutique coffee shops of the sort just ban darker roasts and err on the acidic side? 🤔 that's just too 'cool' for me I guess (kinda like the west coast/southern California coffee -- mostly medium roasts or lower... so if you're into that you may like. Not my thing)
