The women who were working the tables were great. They were attentive and did the best they could. I can’t fault them. The food however was not good, not even close to good. And the man who ran around in between throwing plates down and tutting at the other servers was awful. The chicken was 2am kebab style i.e cooked to within an inch of burnt. Dry as anything. A real shame because the environment is good, the area is great. I’d maybe come in for a drink but would avoid eating.

Hey I didn't get served. The place was very full and only had a table by the door and I do not sit by doors. We called to make reservations and no one answered the phone so we decided let's just go. parking is the worst. I can see if you have a walking problem it will be hard to go here. Big steps to get in. Thank goodness I don't have that problem but if I had brought a friend who did it would have been a major problem. Moreover they don't have handicap parking. As far as inside you will be sitting so close to others you can smell their food and hear their complete conversation. I suggest maybe going on a night when it's not busy. I go to NYC alot and I have never been to a restaurant where you sit on top of each other. When you come in you will have to wait at the door and if it's a line you may have to wait outside in the element. While we were there we heard the phone ring ring and ring... No one answered. Now we see why we couldn't get a reservation. Moreover when I called it said the mailbox was full two days in a row. Again I didn't get to try any food however it seems to be too small for a restaurant but good for a bar. This review doesn't reflect the food it reflects everything I stated. The small size, not handicap accessible and the horrible parking that also doesn't have visible handicap parking. Small businesses have the same service standards as large businesses. Getter done!

This is a quaint, gorgeous little Italian bistro with the best food and the NICEST servers. We arrived at 9, they close at 10 and they were still such gracious hosts which was welcome after a day of travel debacle. The food was excellent and we were able to enjoy the atmosphere and shake off the day of travel. Definitely put this charming restaurant on your list!

I went with a group of work colleagues. We all enjoyed the food specially that Bobby, great person who serviced our table, set our expectations up front regading the kitchen capabilities of preparing the food for a large group, as well as set us up on a number of tasty appetizers that everyone liked. The place itself is cozy and has a nice outdoors dining area. They serve nice cocktails and for food you're surely have a new experience.

One of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever been to! Delicious appetizers and entrees… their flavors are unique because they use fresh ingredients! I am never disappointed and the environment is amazing. If you want to try the best of the best, come here.

My wife and I arrived for a Friday date night. We started on the outdoor patio but we didn't have a reservation so we were politely asked to relocate inside in the swanky front room. I struggled earlier getting a reservation with the number going nowhere. The food selection was great. We got the bruschetta with our beers. That was extremely flavorful. My wife ordered chicken & potatoes, it came out VERY hot on wood. It took sometime until she could eat it as it was very hot. The rosemary was very flavorful in that dish. I ordered the smoked salmon and tortellini. That was hands down some of the best food I had eaten. I only wish the cheese wasn't so runny, but manageable. The taste was one of a kind, delicious. I am looking forward to going back.

I ordered online for pickup. They said 30 minutes, but it actually took 50. I waited for 20 minutes outside on the sidewalk because that's where the sign said to stand, and they didn't offer me a seat or give any explanations as to the delay. My food was simultaneously overcooked and cold when they gave it to me. A freezer pizza would have tasted better, cost less, and been considerably faster. Also the bottom of the box was covered in some kind of sticky sauce which got all over my hands and car seat. Maybe if you ate at the restaurant you'd have a better experience. I definitely do not recommend you try their take out.

Bistrolino is a hidden gem IMO. I’m also amazed by the quality of the food and service given that the prices are very reasonable. It was 14-18 for most entrees. They weren’t giant sized but didn’t leave me wanting more and were delicious! The eggplant Parmesan was awesome. I met the owner Sam who seemed like a really nice guy who was very appreciative that we were at his restaurant. The vibe of the restaurant is cool too, and there’s a bar attached to it. It looks like a repurposed old home in German Village in the best way. This one is an easy sell, come here and try it out!

A quaint Italian restaurant with fresh dishes that feel homemade. The dining room is very small, and there is some patio seating too. The appetizers are wonderful and we also got a meatball parmigiana which was flavorful and filling. A long list of mixed drinks and wines are available too. Great place for a date.

I have been here a couple of times with one of my friends after a hike. The food is hit or miss. I love their bruschetta and bread options, especially with za'atar, and typically their batata harra dish is decent (I like it saltier, but that's just me), yet the last time we went some of them were dry, burnt, or bitter. The staff is super friendly, genuinely nice, and attentive, and they will fix any mishaps with a bad batch. I bet it's a nice place to just have a drink, so for those who imbibe, you can check it out and let me know. I love sitting outside on the patio during the warm summer nights.

The most charming atmosphere!! We are here for a conference- the patio, the lights, the vibe was a delight. And the food!!! AMAZING! I had the eggplant parmigiana and I had to hop on to write this review immediately. Pride of ownership radiates from this cute restaurant. Don’t miss out! Thanks for a great meal ❤️

We hosted our rehearsal dinner here this past weekend and had an awesome experience! Both of the owners are fantastic guys, and Sam was super attentive to our party. The food just can’t be beat. I’m Italian and my husband is Arab, and we loved seeing the fusion of the foods that we each grew up with. The ingredients are so fresh and everything tastes phenomenal. And the cocktails are excellent! We will absolutely be coming back for dinners and drinks with friends and family.

I will start with I always support new and local restaurants and if one wants to try this restaurant, definitely give it a try as everyone has different tastes. However, I was quite surprised at the experience given the reviews I read. The atmosphere and service have a bit of a detached feeling. The food was across the board overpriced and disappointing. Alfredo sauce was extremely watery; ingredients are combined with a lack of refinement and taste specificity. Entrees were essentially similar dishes of varying ingredients thrown together, often in a watery sauce, and overcooked. Hopefully it was just an off night 🤷‍♂️

My first time here but definitely not the last one. I really enjoyed the vibe and the food. The place is so cool and has a lot of dining options and rooms. I tried pizzas, flatbreads and oven-baked entrees. All of them tasted good but pizzas were more special.

I ate an absolutely delicious meal several weeks ago [12-19-2019] at the recently-opened Bistrolino Old World Kitchen and Bar at 495 N. Fourth St. I had been walking within one block of that location on 12-13-2019, one day before they had opened [on 12-14-2019]; Google Maps then suggested, only one or two days later, that I might want to eat there. After having studied a photograph of the menu on the Google Maps page for this restaurant, I decided to order, from the "Terrine" section of that menu, "Rosemary Chicken and Potato." Many of the items on the menu had been described only in non-English languages; "Rosemary Chicken and Potato" had been named in English and also ended up being a perfect choice. My meal had been served, boiling hot, in a hot bowl that had been placed on top of a piece of wood. When I arrived at 4:30 p.m., I had been the only customer there; by the time when I had been ready to leave, many of the tables in the very small dining room had been filled. Outside, during much of my meal, rush-hour traffic, several weeks after the permanent closure of a nearby and extremely important entrance to I-70 eastbound from S. Third St., had been inching along on Livingston Ave. The next time I eat at Bistrolino Old World Kitchen and Bar, I will probably ask several questions about the menu because I may want to order something during my next visit that is not described in English.

I can’t believe that it took four years for me to get here! But, I just tried this charming German Village eatery and loved it - I’ll be back for sure! Definitely able to recognize the unique combined Italian and Lebanese influences - I particularly appreciate the many vegetarian options. Perfect spot for duo or small group dining - looking forward to trying out the patio over the summer!

My wife made a reservation for Tuesday at 5:15. Parking wasn't an issue as there was a spot in front, but I saw how it could be. We arrived early (4:45) and were able to be seated. Unfortunately, we had babysitter issues, so we had to bring our 4 year old on date night. We were seated by the gentleman preparing the dishes. The waitress, Jessie, was running back and forth to Ferdinands, where there was a private party going. We waited ten minutes, and Jessie brought us a carafe with water. We put in our drink and food orders, given the time we had to look over the menu. The menu had what looked like solid choices. We ordered bread with a dipping oil. Jessie said these were imported and honestly, probably the only thing my daughter would eat. She's super picky and uncultured. She's 4‍ The bread was very good, but the dipping oil was amazing. I'm not quite sure what the seasoning was, but it was, oh, so good! My wife ordered the Salmon Tortellini Alfredo. This was an excellent choice. It was baked, and the salmon wasn't overpowering. It was a decent portion and very filling. The Tortellin even seemed homemade. I ordered sausage and peppers. It was good, but they were exactly just that. The sauce was good but nothing special. I'm glad we went early as it was very packed in there after 5:30. Jessie was hustling, running back and forth. It was impressive how, on her toes, she was.

Finally made our way here last night. I'm kicking myself we didn't come here sooner! We are pretty picky, but this place is amazing! It was an usually warm night for December so we sat on the patios by the heaters. Great ambiance, great music, and DELICIOUS food that was all perfectly prepared! We had the eggplant appetizer, burrata appetizer, lamb slider special, and bread. Awesome cocktails and wine. Service was top nothc. We will be back! Can't wait to try the rest of the menu.

Chef was awesome. Kitchen is visible from the dining room and he happily provided us with details regarding cuisine and the restaurant background. Food was delicious. We all had something different and ended up sharing it all. Very pleasantly surprised by how good the smoked salmon tortellini tasted. Would absolutely go back!

Such a great first experience! The patio is the perfect setting on a nice day, the staff was very attentive, and the food was delicious! My Dad and I got some Dunkels to drink, the bruschetta, a pizza, and the lasagna. Everything was well presented and full of flavor! Will definitely be back

We started with the zaatar mankoushe which was perfectly seasoned and a lovely introduction to our meal. Up next was the EXQUISITE involtini which was asparagus spears and cheese wrapped in prosciutto. I would go back and order 3 of these they were so good. Highly recommend.

Came here with my mom and my two daughters - my kids had the meatball pizza and the tortellini. I had the spicy potatoes and a salad, my mom got a margherita pizza. All the food was delicious! The cocktails were so yummy. The service was great too. I will definitely be going again!

“When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me.” ◄ 1 Corinthians 13:11 Woah that’s crazy because I’m a woman and I feel the same way after eating at this amazing restaurant. The Dècor, the music, the hosting all FANTASTIC!!!!!! Thank you (: Great German Village spot.

It was perfect! If you are looking to go to the Chef’s home away from home, this is for you and you loved one. It was so intimate and beautiful. This spot is a one chef kitchen who is from Italy and makes pizza’s like his neighborhood back in Italy with a Lebanese twist. It is small and perfect for a romantic atmosphere tucked in German village. I would highly recommend this place for a dinner to anyone looking for a magical and intimate experience. The food was great, authentic, and so fresh. When we ripped into our bread the steam was still coming out of it. The best way to describe our experience was magical.

This place is pretty trendy but I did really enjoy the evening. Manager/owner was awesome. Hygiene and precautions 10/10. Nice outside patio was the main draw for our party. New hostess did great on a super busy Friday night, food was good but sides which roasted where more like blackened/charred. Kitchen struggles with larger parties but pulled through with a super strong finish. I'll go again especially with the managers transparency, came and explained situation even though we didn't complain or inquire.

Ordered pick up but the outside seating was so cute I wish I had stayed. :) Fantastic food. The Lasagna is perfection and also loved the flavors of the Rosemary Chicken & Potato Au Gratin. Food was ready a few minutes before pick up time and employees were very polite and fast.

The food was delicious. The fusion of Italian and Lebanese was very good. The place was warm and cozy and we felt vert welcomed. The chef talked to us and explain the menu. The wine was also perfect. This is a MUST to go if you visit Columbus.

Weird. Caprese barely had any tomatoes in it. The cocktail had way too much alcohol in it. Both food and drinks are just okay. Nothing special.

Great impression on our first visit! The owner, the chef, and the waiter were all incredible and definitely will be coming back. Love the small space, atmosphere, and amazing smells that drift through the streets. Starters were delicious, entrees were flavorful, and we grabbed a bottle of the chefs favorite wine on the way out.

This is a very small restaurant tucked in German village. My understanding is that 1 of the owners is Lebanese and one of the owners is Italian. So both types of food are offered. I have come to this restaurant on both Saturday and then tonight. Food was wonderful both nights. I like the dining room feel as it is small and very quaint.

This was a great find! The lasagna is the best I have EVER had. We will be going back. The entire staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. The atmosphere is perfect for a date or going with a group. The chef was so nice and even explained the different wines and where the originate from. If you are looking for the best Italian/Mediterranean style dishes this is the go-to place!

The atmosphere in both places was warm and inviting. The spicy margarita, capricciosa pizza and pomegranate martini were excellent. The margarita was slightly spicy and the martini was tasty with the lime. It paired well with the pizza. The lamb chops were great with the rice they were served. I picked a dry wine to finish the evening, it was not quite a pinot nor but close with a slight sweet taste. This was a great place to take my date out after a cup of tea and hot chocolate at Upper Cup; Enjoy everyone! 😁

Stephanie served us. She was great. We had arrived a little before 9pm on Monday. The place was pretty full so eight must have been a busy hour. The jazz playing was soothing and the open view into the chef was very appealing. The food was fabulous and food delivery was perfect. I would definitely recommend. They do have a restroom for visitors. The parking is limited.

My rehearsal dinner was at Bistrolino on October 1st, 2021, and it was perfect! The upstairs space was intimate and private, nicely decorated with an ideal layout. The owner and manager were very communicative and helpful leading up to the event, offering suggestions and feedback. The food, drinks, and service were excellent, and universally enjoyed by people of different ages and food preferences. The price was very reasonable. I highly recommend for a private event or rehearsal dinner!

Stopped by a couple weeks ago and sat at the bar with Bobby. Right out of the gate I knew I was in the right place for a great meal. My friends and I enjoyed a delicious bottle of Pinot Grigio, at state minimum retail price! (during happy hour). We started off with a Capricciosa pizza that was cooked to perfection. For our entrees, we got the lamb chops, the smoked salmon tortellini alfredo, and the meatball parmigiana; all of which got 5 stars across the board from all three of us. Hands down best dining experience I have had in Columbus to date; the food, drinks, ambiance and hospitality were all flawless. I can not wait to return and try more of the menu!

Great Food and service, pet friendly I sat outside with my energy filled German Shepherd and they attended to us with no issues. Very hard to find pet friendly places to eat. 2nd time here and will always return. Just because they are pet friendly I would say don’t abuse the rules and ruin it for the rest of us, please make sure your dog is well behaved and I would say sit at a good distance from other customers.
