    Spent enough here on Christmas to rack up 1k in rewards dollars. Come to find out, they expire only a few weeks later. To think I was about to make another big purchase here. Haha. This shows that it’s better off to purchase from a local jeweler, this place is as shady as it gets.

    I went into the store looking for a ring and was greeted by AJ and Jordan. I was completely blown away by how friendly and caring they were. They helped me pick the perfect ring and provided a memoriable experience. If you come here, ask for them!

    It is my goal for this review to be honest and genuine, as I very rarely give less than 5 stars in google reviews. That being said, the employees at this location were pleasant and as helpful as they could be. Now buckle up for a decently lengthy read. This issue goes much deeper to a corporate level. Long story short, I made the mistake of signing up for a Kay credit card in order to build credit, and pay off my wife's engagement ring I purchased here - a salesman insisted I don't pay cash, and build credit for my eventual home purchase in the near future. Fine, whatever, I'm okay with that. Genesis financial services (Kay's 3rd party finance service) illegally opened up FIVE separate accounts in my wife and I's names, in which they distributed the cost of the ring across - all unknown to us, until I get a call one day out of the blue asking why I'm not paying the balance on 4 accounts. (Because why in the name of science would I have the cost of my ring spread across 5 accounts, 4 of which we didn't even know about?) Cue BOTH of our credit scores getting ruined, having to file fraud paperwork with feds, threatening legal action but getting no response from genesis..... all while we were closing on a house. Somehow we still managed to get a low interest rate, but man, what a nightmare. Not sure if they still use genesis financial services, but this place (in)directly caused the worst couple months of our lives. I'm sorry this location has to take the hit with the bad review, but I need to let people know about this.

    Very poor experience, last time setting foot in a Kay jewelers. They tried to replace my watch battery in house (surprise, they can't as Movados go through a multi point inspection and require a water pressure test that isn't done in house. To be fair they said they send it out and I said I thought they did it in store before but I have many watches so I easily could have been mistaken which I openly admitted to, the kid was trying to be helpful and offered to do it in store but again they are not equipped or trained to do so), and in doing so they scratched my watch bezel and band and did not water seal it. I only ended up finding out that it wasn't water sealed because the other jeweler commented on my watch and I said never wear it and just had the battery replaced at Kay, their jaws dropped and said it couldn't be done in store and explained why. This is a watch I've worn maybe 5 times as it is a dressier watch so I know I gave it to them in flawless condition. When I got it back it was covered in finger prints and smudges so I didn't notice the scratches until later. I was furious but kept calm and drove back a few days later, they offered to polish and buff it as well as get it water sealed with no mention of cost and a statement of " it is the least we can do" and a pick up slip with a zero dollar estimate. When I went to pick it up a lovely lady helped us and she was very kind, however when she gave it back I could see there was a price of $225 they wanted to charge me. My watch might be water sealed now but still is scratched and possibly looks worse than before. Thankfully the general manager was there an didn't put up much of a fight at not charging me but somewhere along the way someone claimed I had someone else open the watch which I did not do, I did have it pressure tested and it failed, that was prior to sending it out. Bottom line avoid this particular location, highly recommend Ashcroft and Oak, they are amazing to work with and will continue to receive all of my business as they have for the past 12 years and at 2 separate locations they have treated me like family. The only reason we went to Kay was because the battery replacement was covered under a lifetime replacement, sadly it turned into this horrible experience. My wife made the mistake of purchasing through Kay but this is assuredly our last time doing any business with them. I ended up making 2 extra trips and now have a scratched watch

    I walked in one day looking for an engagement ring for my girlfriend and Cliff was available right away to help. He was able to help me find what exactly I was looking for based on her(my girlfriends) preferences. We spent a good amount of time going through everything and he was so courteous and willing to share his time with me to find the perfect ring. I was even able to take another diamond I had from my great grandmother and put it into the ring I selected. No hassles at all. If you’re ever going to go to this store, ask for Cliff. Everyone else is really friendly too.

    My engagement ring and wedding band were both bought here. Cliff was fantastic. Always willing to take his time to get you exactly what you want. Hes never pushy and very willing to help.plus the jewelry was beautiful.

    I lost my engagement ring at work. My fiancé used the diamond from his mothers ring. I was devastated and heart broken. Cliff stayed 30 min after closing time to help me find a diamond to put in my future mother in laws setting and a gorgeous wedding band to match. The best part: he promised to get it to me by Friday (in 2 days) for my bridal shower this weekend. I called many other jewelers in Columbus and none could get it done that quickly. It should be done by this evening and I can’t wait to pick it up!

    This is my home base to adorn my wife — have had nothing but extraordinarily positive experiences with staff and products! Quick turnarounds for product modification, professional staff — as I type this, they are locating and shipping a band to match my wife’s existing two. The last one in inventory! Highly recommended.

    They service none of the things they sell in house like my $400 dollar watch that needed a pin for the wrist band. 3 to 4 weeks out for a 1 minute fix. No more. Sales only..no service🤬

    We spent a long time checking out different jewelers. We happened to be at the mall and decided to check out Kay's on a whim. We were so pleasntly surprised. The manager and Alie were so friendly and knowledgeable.

    Resized a ring for me. Pretty straightforward experience. However, I got an incredibly rude person on the phone when I called to check if the ring had been returned from being sent off for resizing. I was first told, "no, the ring is not here if you did not get a call, but I will check if you want me to."... well yea that is why I called so... Anyway, I give them my name which took 3-4 minutes to get it right. My name is as boring wonder-bread as it gets so, that was frustrating. I was then told the ring was not under that name (that's my bad), so I give her my girlfriends name. Again, an incredibly short and common name, but it took 5 or 6 times saying it over the course of 5 minutes for her to get it right. Cherry on top: the ring has been there since yesterday... So cool jewelry, nice resizing work, not super great customer service.

    Thank you Kay's. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. After 30+ years my engagement ring was needing help. They were able to do a custom remake of my original ring. I was very happy with the new piece.

    My fiancé and I worked with Dawn over this past weekend and she was amazing. She was patient, attentive, caring, and very knowledgeable about her job. She spent almost an hour looking for a wedding band I found and when unsuccessful (only due to discontinuation of the product) she assisted us design a new one. I would happily visit Dawn any day!

    I had an incredible experience with the help from AJ and Theresa. I came in with little time to send in 4 items. AJ did a phenomenal job searching and finding the rings in the system while Theresa was eager and willing to jump in and help complete the paperwork. I am always taken great care of when I come in (which is often). From Katie helping find the perfect wedding bands last month to assistance from AJ and Theresa with sending in my items. This place is perfect! Thank you all for your help!

    I went into the store in July looking to discuss and order a custom piano engagement/wedding ring. I was helped by Rebecca from the Springfield store. I came in the first day todto it and came back the next day to go forward with everything. In the store, she was informative and helpful. However during the process of getting the ring and it being made, the communication was not consistent. There were times where I had to contact her to receive an update. Because I had never done this before, I went with her word that she would contact me regularly when things changed. I was informed that the stones that we originally agreed on for the black keys were not able to be found so they needed to be changed. Which was okay with me. I was very understanding that we are still in the middle of pandemic and certain things will take longer and possibly not be able to fit my order. I picked up the ring last week and it was very different than the pictures I was shown. In the pictures, the black stones were very dark and looked black. The small keys on the ring, however, are gray so it doesn't quite look like a real piano. When I picked up the ring I was informed by the Polaris employees that the stones would not be able to be used for the black keys because they were so small and the stones would have broken. I completely understood that. However, I was never informed that the small keys would look so different than the picture I was shown. Rebecca never told me that the material they chose to use could only get so dark and was not able to become a dark black like the picture. My issue with the whole thing is the communication. It was never communicated to me how different the ring would look so I went into the store with an expectation that was not met. I was actually quite disappointed because I custom made this ring and may have made a different decision had I known it would not look like I wanted it to. The employees explained to me as best they could that it was just not possible for the black keys to be darker. I completely understand that but it's the principle. That was not communicated to me by Rebecca, the manager at the Springfield Kay Jewelers, the person that was handling my ring order. I picked up the ring about a week ago and contacted her about it like she ask me to after I picked it up but I have not heard back. The ring is a nice ring but not what I signed up for.

    Poor customer service. I was just having a repair made here on a ring purchased at Easton, so no buying experience, but the experience working with their staff was less than desirable. Ring not ready twice when promised, no calls from staff with updates as indicated, and no one seemed to know what was going on when I did call. I’ll stick to Easton next time.

    had to bring my ring back into store for remounting, which they had to send out to get repaired. 5 weeks later , still no word from store about it so called store to find out it was still out of store & no where near being finished. told them we wanted ring back to go somewhere else to get it fixed. got the run around. after sale service SUCKS !!!! the only reason they got a star was so I could post this review !!!!

    I was in a put a pair of large solid gold hoops in layaway and had made payments on them . I had family emergency and had to leave town and notified Cristina, that I would be in to make my payment as soon as I got back in town. I got back in town and called to tell them I would be in to make a payment and the store manager notified me that they had sold them. I instantly became upset and asked for the customer service number. I called customer service and explained my issue and they called the store manager and he told me that he would reorder me a new pair. After about 8 days of waiting on cliff to call with my new earrings . I stopped in the store and Christina hands me a pair of large homemade looking hollow hoops . I told her that's not what the original earrings looked like and definitely was hollow. She then tried to convince me that they were the same. I called the next day and spoke to Cliff and he said the same that those were the same hoops. I know the quality of the first pair of hoops and I'm very disappointed and upset that they would try to make me pay the same price for the . Very dishonest people and not very nice . I will continue to call customer service until this issue gets resolved. If I wanted hollow hoops I'd go to Walmart or family dollar.

    My $600 necklace clasp broke within the first year of purchase. My husband bought it for my birthday and did not purchase the warranty. The manager Clif basically told me that’s too bad, and I should have paid for the warranty. While I understand that you take a risk when you don’t purchase the warranty, I also feel that a moderately expensive necklace should last more than a year before needing a $220 repair...which is what Clif quoted to buy the warranty and get the clasp fixed. I am disappointed in not only the quality but also the poor customer service. Kay Jeweler’s has always been excellent. I called and spoke to Farha, a representative with corporate. She also called and spoke with the manger Clif at the Polaris Mall Location and he was not willing to compromise on the repair costs. Farha sent me to the Dublin Tuttle Mall location where I was assisted by a kind manager and associate named Jelani. Corporate credited the Dublin store a portion of the repair cost and I only paid $35. A very reasonable price. The customer service was like night and day.

    This review is like 3weeks late, Its better late then never. So let me start off by saying the whole staff at Polaris is awsome. That Cliff is 10stars for me. My husband bought me a LeVian for valentines day, well that ring was not my best friend at all I had to return that ring 5 times before I said screw it i have to get a different ring! Cliff was so patient with and helping pick out the best suited ring for me. He went over and beyond with the price of my new ring as well to compensate for all my troubles. Im not a big diamond store kind of girl but if I ever find the need for something else or if I want to buy my kids their first, I will be going to Kay and asking for Sapphire(my SA) or the Cliff them 2 were the best

    I had been shopping around for a quality automatic skeleton watch for about a week trying to find the right watch at the right price point. I decided to give Kay's a chance. After being shown different options by a woman named Jen, I left to try some other jewelers in the mall. The service and knowledge was nothing compared to what Jen offered at any places I had visted all week. I was even willing to spend about $50 more than I had planned because of her service. It felt more like a conversation than a sales pitch. Will definitely do business again here in the future and will recommend to anyone I know looking around for watches.

    My husband bought me a beautiful wedding band yesterday & I came today to get it sized & my engagement ring cleaned! We have already spent about $7k here. I got here at 10am & it was not opened yet. I waited about 10min more minutes for them to open. Then this lady comes in as they opened the door & attend her first??!!!? Wow..i was so mad I didn't even want the ring at this point I just wanted my money back & get out of here! Maybe because I am hispanic or not dressed so nicely..who knows but I am a RN in an emergency room & work very hard with so many different people everyday & would NEVER want anyone to feel how this so called assistant manager Cloie made me feel )

    I visited the Polaris location today, in search of a wedding band to fit under my oddly shaped and a tad bit bulky engagement ring. Not only was Cloie readily available and eager to help, but she was a total gem! Very sweet, funny, and listened to what I liked and didn't. She went the extra mile, comparing my engagement ring to practically all of the wedding bands in store and showing me which ones "flowed" nicely with my ring. Not only would I return to Kay's, but I'd probably insist on Cloie assisting me. Thank you so much for a fun and easy buying experience!

    I was impressed by the way I was taken care of in helping me to buy another Movado watch. I was upset having to return a previous Movado but I'm more excited about the new one I purchased.     My wife purchased a wedding band from Kay Jewelers that that came in about a size too big. When I walked in I was greeted by Akil, who was very friendly and very eager to help. During the interaction Therese and Cloie took time from thier own situations to assist us. I feel all three went above and beyond to create a great customer experience. As someone who has lived in customer service my whole life, I have come to expect mediocrity. This was not the case. The associates here are doing it right. Keep it up!

    I went in looking for a watch, I was greeted at the door by a young gentleman named Jake. He asked me about what I was looking for and helped me find a watch I loved. He was very knowledgeable about watches and you could tell he genuinely enjoyed his job and our conversation. I defiantly will be back to buy from Jake!!! The other staff was very friendly as well.
