Very
poor
experience,
last
time
setting
foot
in
a
Kay
jewelers.
They
tried
to
replace
my
watch
battery
in
house
(surprise,
they
can't
as
Movados
go
through
a
multi
point
inspection
and
require
a
water
pressure
test
that
isn't
done
in
house.
To
be
fair
they
said
they
send
it
out
and
I
said
I
thought
they
did
it
in
store
before
but
I
have
many
watches
so
I
easily
could
have
been
mistaken
which
I
openly
admitted
to,
the
kid
was
trying
to
be
helpful
and
offered
to
do
it
in
store
but
again
they
are
not
equipped
or
trained
to
do
so),
and
in
doing
so
they
scratched
my
watch
bezel
and
band
and
did
not
water
seal
it.
I
only
ended
up
finding
out
that
it
wasn't
water
sealed
because
the
other
jeweler
commented
on
my
watch
and
I
said
never
wear
it
and
just
had
the
battery
replaced
at
Kay,
their
jaws
dropped
and
said
it
couldn't
be
done
in
store
and
explained
why.
This
is
a
watch
I've
worn
maybe
5
times
as
it
is
a
dressier
watch
so
I
know
I
gave
it
to
them
in
flawless
condition.
When
I
got
it
back
it
was
covered
in
finger
prints
and
smudges
so
I
didn't
notice
the
scratches
until
later.
I
was
furious
but
kept
calm
and
drove
back
a
few
days
later,
they
offered
to
polish
and
buff
it
as
well
as
get
it
water
sealed
with
no
mention
of
cost
and
a
statement
of
"
it
is
the
least
we
can
do"
and
a
pick
up
slip
with
a
zero
dollar
estimate.
When
I
went
to
pick
it
up
a
lovely
lady
helped
us
and
she
was
very
kind,
however
when
she
gave
it
back
I
could
see
there
was
a
price
of
$225
they
wanted
to
charge
me.
My
watch
might
be
water
sealed
now
but
still
is
scratched
and
possibly
looks
worse
than
before.
Thankfully
the
general
manager
was
there
an
didn't
put
up
much
of
a
fight
at
not
charging
me
but
somewhere
along
the
way
someone
claimed
I
had
someone
else
open
the
watch
which
I
did
not
do,
I
did
have
it
pressure
tested
and
it
failed,
that
was
prior
to
sending
it
out.
Bottom
line
avoid
this
particular
location,
highly
recommend
Ashcroft
and
Oak,
they
are
amazing
to
work
with
and
will
continue
to
receive
all
of
my
business
as
they
have
for
the
past
12
years
and
at
2
separate
locations
they
have
treated
me
like
family.
The
only
reason
we
went
to
Kay
was
because
the
battery
replacement
was
covered
under
a
lifetime
replacement,
sadly
it
turned
into
this
horrible
experience.
My
wife
made
the
mistake
of
purchasing
through
Kay
but
this
is
assuredly
our
last
time
doing
any
business
with
them.
I
ended
up
making
2
extra
trips
and
now
have
a
scratched
watch
