From the moment I entered Alexanders Jewelers, I felt genuinely welcome. Shane asked me about my car since I parked in front of the store. We’re both car guys. Once he ascertained my interest in watches, he introduced me to Alex, the owner. What a knowledgeable and personable man. He asked about the watches I had researched online. He said my first selection was a watch from the 80’s and wasn’t the best choice for a novice watch guy. #2 on my list was an historical limited edition and an excellent watch, but completely different from my #3 a bright yellow dial and yellow rubber band from Porsche Design. After a very interesting discussion with Alex, I bought the Porsche watch. As a former Porsche 911 owner, it just grabbed me. (It wasn’t the most expensive choice, but there was no upsell push at all!) This is such a first class operation that it’s a 5 star for sure! Shane even fed the parking meter I missed so I wouldn’t get a ticket! That’s customer service above and beyond.

Lee gave us the best experience picking out an engagement ring. Her communication, helpfulness and attention to detail were top tier. She listened to our preferences and worked with us to find our dream ring. We highly recommend her services. Alexanders is an extremely high quality and professional business. They offer a large collection that covers any style you are looking for. They’ll even customize a ring if you like the setting but desire a different cut of diamond, like we did with ours. The in-store ring had a pear shape diamond with trillions on the sides, and they swapped the out pear for the marquise cut I loved and created my dream engagement ring. 10/10!

Other jewelers don’t even come close in comparison, hands down the best people in the business. My brother recommended Alexander’s when I was shopping for an engagement ring. My fiancé and I enjoyed working with Shane so much that we invited him to our wedding. Alex and the rest of the staff are also awesome, especially if you’re looking for high end watches. I have known David Alexander for some time and have bought some engagement rings from them. Even though the engagements didn’t work out, I was treated with respect and courtesy, and will go back there if I ever venture into committing to a life partner again.

Such a positive experience over the past year working with Alexanders. After having a negative experience with custom jewelry at another Columbus jeweler, I went to Alexanders to see how they could help fix the custom engagement ring I had made elsewhere. Gabrielle and Shane worked with us and got us exactly what we wanted at an affordable price. That experience was just the start of a great year long customer relationship. We went back to Shane to help with a Mangalsutra, an elaborate Indian necklace, and Shane worked with us to customize a beautiful and modern necklace. This was his first time making such a unique necklace and he was patient, open minded, and brought his incredibly creative jeweler mind to help make something we could never have imagined ourselves. We used my grandmothers diamond in the necklace and Shane worked with us to replace my grandmothers ring with a new sapphire stone, and had the brilliance to refinish the gold ring itself to really make it look new. That ring was given back to my mother, with a new stone, and completely refinished. It was also beautiful. Overall, Shane and the team at Alexanders are wonderful. They put the customer first, are always open minded, and the communication never lacked. I can not recommend them enough and thank the entire team for making 3 lovely custom pieces for us.

I looked all over Columbus to have a ring repaired. My mother has had the ring for over 40 years. The stone had fallen out. Because it was a Connemara marble, everywhere else said they couldn't do it. At Alexander's Jewelers they were so helpful in the specifics of what needed to be done. The entire staff was so friendly and they made me laugh because of the oddity of the situation. When they finished the ring, it looked brand new. Amazing customer service I bought a relatively cheap watch for them but a expensive watch for me and Alexander himself spent at least a half hour explaining the watch to me.

If you are looking for high-end pre-owned wrist watch like Rolex and Omega... There is really no other place to go in Columbus. I was looking for a Submariner and felt uncomfortable buying online from places like Crown and Caliber and Bob's watches. I needed to see and touch what I was buying and had a Omega speedmaster to trade in. Alex gave me a fair price for my trade and had a number of submariners to choose from! To change a battery for quartz watch is $20, which is a bit more expensive than most places. I did ask a few questions regarding my watch and they tested to see what the stone is on another piece of jewelry I brought in. I considered the $20 as a price for all that service included. Probably won't go there for a battery change though ;) The person was nice for doing all that but I didn't actually feel very welcomed considering all those high ratings talking about how friendly they are.
