I was so looking forward to loving this store, and I’ve been following them since their early days in the Short North. All of these reviews are amazing and rave about the boutique. However, I noticed most of these reviews come from buyers. As a seller, I had a pretty bad experience. I was so excited to bring some things in to sell and start building a relationship with this boutique. I collect different luxury handbags and accessories mostly from the original designer or from online boutiques. I was hoping this in person experience would be better. I was so disappointed that I didn’t even get to meet face to face with a buyer. They looked over my items within minutes (kudos for the speediness, but I’m also concerned about how thorough and considerate they are when it comes to buying products) It would have also been nice to have received an explanation of their buying strategy when I first arrived. It may have changed my mind about what I brought. Other resale boutiques might have a different target customer or strategy. Also note - I was selling handbags, not jewelry. Selling and buying jewelry from here may be a completely different experience…Anyways, the buyer was only interested in one item at a disgustingly low offer price. Would have been nice for them to at least say it to my face. I will just stick to buying and selling my luxury items online. (Fashionphile is the best.) Things I did love: the cleanliness of the store is impeccable. I was helped immediately. Their displays of the handbags they did buy are fantastic.

I received the Rolex “Hulk” I purchased and I couldn’t be more pleased. I have been looking to add one to my collection for a long time and when I saw one at 5a, I had to pull the trigger. The process was super smooth and it was delivered the next day (on a Saturday)! My experiences with 5a have exceeded my expectations and I will definitely be on the lookout for another piece to add to my collection!

Store 5a is one of the neatest shops I have visited! Immediately upon entering, the staff was very friendly and excited to show me the newest products and inventory. I immediately fell in love with a handbag, and Darcy was incredibly knowledgeable about the bag. Everything about Store 5a is 5 stars. The space is so elegant and modern and clean! It felt like an art gallery but for jewelry. I already knew the ring that I wanted but obviously perused just because. Their selection is outstanding. I tried on my ring and instantly fell in love. This by far has been the best experience utilizing an luxury consignment retailer via online. Mollie, was so very patient with me and responded rapidly to all my mounting questions and concerns. She walked me through the entire process and provided a multitude of additional photos prior to my purchase. In addition, she made time to ship my item the very same day even though it was nearing business closing hours. Beyond expectations! Saw a few online items of interest. Expecting to window shop at store but ended up purchasing quality jewelry for myself and family for upcoming holidays. Reasonable pricing and excellent customer service (Darcy at Easton).

Went in for a quick cleaning. Aggressive sales tactics from inexperienced new hire. Prices are dramatically inflated for cheap 10k and 14k jewelry. Over head at this Easton Town Location is extremely high, guess who pays for that. As a New Albany resident i am disscussed with the service here.
