I was told by the owner on the phone that he pays out 95% on silver bars which is awesome. I ended up driving there, which takes 40 minutes from where I live, and the final offer to buy the bar was at 84.08%. I ended up taking it since I had just driven 40 minutes there and still had a 40 minutes drive home and I'm really crunched on time today. Today from about 1-3 is the only opening to do this in the next two weeks so I didn't have time to run around to different places to see who would screw me the least or else I would have laughed at that offer. Anyways, I will never EVER do business with him again and will tell anyone who asks to not do business with him as well. Having said all that, the guy working behind the counter was really kind.

FAKE REVIEWS.. I took more than a few valuable coins to this place and he claimed only a few were worth less than a dollar. Afterwards i took them to a legitimate coin dealer and had them evaluated just to be sure and turns out they are worth hundreds. Hwd an offer for $145 for a penny he thought was only worth one cent... Be careful bringing anything to these people they will offer wild prices and do not have much knowledge of coins at current actual value!!!

I bought silver for 29 an ounce with spot last week. The guy in there tried to sell it to me for 35 an ounce. Because he thought I didn't know any better. It's clear if they can take advantage of you they will. Just go any where else. You'll get a better deal.

I haven't sold anything to this shop yet and I hope I do not have to. But that being said, I am in there so often that they know what I am in there for before I even get to the door. There is an older man who wears glasses and he has his wife in there with him. That man is one of the nicest people I have ever met. He knows what I am in there for and is very patient when I want to look at something new. The whole group is really good and I am more than satisfied when I leave the shop. Definitely will be back again and again and again. Highly recommended. :D

This place is great I drive a hour from Lancaster just to go here they give you the most money for what you have and there vary polite and professional. And they have a great selection if you're looking to buy I would not recommend any other coin shop in Ohio but this place thank you for doing good business I really appreciate it

This place has been nothing but amazing!! Gives THE best prices and is always very friendly. Clark an Frank are two of the most knowledgeable people I have ever met when it comes too coins currency. It is always nice to enter a shop and get a friendly welcome! This is not the case in most of the coin shops in Columbus. Most act like they don't want too be bothered! There prices on Gold And .999 Silver are the best in town. I quit going too the other shops, it is a waste of gas and time. I have and will recommend Grove City Coins And Currency to my friends and family. Do yourself a favor come and see Clark and Frank first. Go somewhere else! The owner here will tell you your stuff is not real to try and swindle you. He tried to tell me my ounce of 99.9% gold was not real, then wanted to buy my silver as I was walking out his door. I went across the street to Buckeye Gold, they tested it and found no problems with my Queen Elizabeth gold coin. I also sold them my silver with no problem. Buckeye gold told me they would have my coin sold today. I will never grace their door again. Head my warning this place is shady.

This Place Is A Joke! Brought a penny in. They didn't even look at it. Not going into detail on the stuff about this penny but the young guy behind the counter (curly hair, glasses, tall geeky looking) just glanced behind him and asked some other guy(some lay-about in a chair) if he wants to buy a penny. He said "No". Then they told us to take it to the pawn shop down by Subway. We did that. The pawn guy says "I don't buy coins" (he clearly has coins sitting right there in a showcase). He then goes on to say "that's a running joke with the guys down there, they send people in here all the time".

I personally am not a coin collector but my boyfriend is and I have been there multiple times with him. I have never experienced service as described from the other reviewers. He has always been very pleasant and is great with my 2 year old daughter. He isn't a real "talker" but has never been unfriendly or unhelpful, or condescending, and his prices are the best we've seen, yet. Also, Grove City Coins and Currency is a sponsor of the GCKA recreational soccer league and earns major bonus points for me in that area! And, as far as the other review goes (as to getting a price for his collection), most places charge for that service, and I'm guessing that he wasn't offered what he had hoped to get.

Haven't sold anything so I don't have an opinion on that, but all my purchases with Luke have gone good. Alot of basics(90%/40%), no small fractionals of gold(like a gram), and some cool pieces. At the end of the day im going for count over quality. They're my go to shop now for quick purchases with leftover cash I have. I will eventually want to trade some silver for higher sized gold or buy gold so ill update when that happens. Would recommend.

Terrible customer service, I was told I couldn’t stand at the counter and view their silver rounds because of social distancing. Yet two minutes later three guys walked in and they allowed him to sit inches from me. I’ll never be back and I’ve bought a lot of silver from these guys.

This place is really top notch as far as coin and currency shops go. The staff took a phone call from me and answered every question I had. I then went into the shop later that day and received a higher dollar amount per ounce of silver than any other shop in the city would pay (I about 20 of them). I am very happy with the service provided and the fairness of their buying prices.
