I went in to get my very first tattoo earlier today. I had Rob and he did an absolutely amazing job. Not only was everyone inside the building extremely friendly but also helpful as well. Rob was very professional and there wasn’t a second where I doubted anything during the process. Would recommend going here to anybody wanting to get a tattoo

This place was great! I definitely recommend them for a nose piercing. I came in as a walk-in client and was greeted by the employees at the front desk. Everyone I encountered was very nice and enthusiastic to help. Although there were several people waiting, they had a check in system that ran smoothly. The person who performed my piercing was Jessica. She was super sweet, her space was very clean, and she walked me through the entire piercing process. She answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable. I would definitely go back for another service.

I got a tattoo done on Friday by Canada. She is a very sweet person. She talked to my husband & I though the whole tattoo section. I love my tattoo & will definitely come back to have her do any more tattoos I may want in the future.

Brandon was amazing! He was nice, friendly and he does some fantastic work. He put great detail into my dove and made it look how i wanted it. I got this tattoo for my late brother and I am so glad that he was the artist to make it look so awesome. My mom got a tattoo on her back and he did an amazing job on it too. He helped my mom decide where to get it and really provided great advice to her. He also added a special touch to hers and it made her smile. It was a great experience for both of us. I definitely recommend going to Evolved and sitting with him. The studio was amazing too! Lots of art and things to look at. Lots of body piercing inventory. The place had a nice vibe to it. It was a busy day for them so definitely make an appointment before you go in.

Jess was so great. She explained the entire piercing process since I was a first timer, did such great work, and was so nice and fun to talk with. The whole process, from checking in to picking out jewelry to getting the piercings and checking out when smoothly and fair quickly. The jewelry was far more expensive than I thought it would be, but it is definitely worth the cost since it's pure gold. I'll be going back for my next piercings and requesting Jess :)

Sosa was so great! He explained every thing so diligently. I have had many piercings and I've never been taught how piercings heal and why/how to clean. He made me feel very comfortable. The person who helped me pick out my jewelry was fantastic. I could not have had a better experience. I think it's extra cool some of the jewelry is made in house!

Amazing customer service. I went there today to get my septum done after awhile of waiting and wanting one. The piercer was sweet and made sure I was comfortable. Everyone I had the chance of meeting were super friendly and they were pretty accommodating. Sterile environment, great customer service, wide variety of jewelry. They were professional, clean, and they had decent pricing for the quality of jewelry that is offered. Really cool place. I will definitely come back soon.

The whole process of finding the right tattoo shop is (was) daunting to me. Long story short, years ago Emily and I got our first from a smaller shop in Columbus and had a great experience — but when a handful of family members also wanted to also get a matching ones and we had to coordinate it ~ the first place that came to mind was checking out Evolved. Nick, Susan and their team had been in our shop for plants a while back and we recall how personable and friendly they were. So the challenge was to book an appointment for 6 people, on one day & 3 of us were coming in from out of town so our dates were limited. After submitting the group appointment request online, their team got back to us and to my surprise we’re able to work us in as a group just a few weeks out. The process was all very easy and the only hiccup was that I forgot to mention I use a wheelchair and their High Street location is not accessible. This wasn’t a problem for them to quickly pivot and relocate us over to their Summit Street location. Our tattoo artist, Mike, did an excellent job all around in making the day enjoyable and everyone was 100% happy with their first tattoos - including my 86 year old grandma 😅! So if you are looking for a clean, professional, and qualified shop then you found a great place! Thanks again to to Nick, Susan, Mike and the rest of their team!

Was tattooed by Biz today. Was my first tattoo ever and the experience was good. He wasn’t super talkative, but his work speaks for itself. I was very pleased with the result and the price was very reasonable. I will say that the shop is in a part of town that is difficult to find parking. They have a very small lot and none of the spaces were available. I was 15 minutes early, but it took me almost 20 to find a spot, park and walk to the shop.

I don't think a lot of people realize being a piercer isn't just about being able to shove a needle through some skin. It's about reading people and understanding how to communicate with them, in addition to of course having a steady hand and shoving a needle through some skin...I have been pierced at Evolved numerous times, and I have also gone to another local shop that just does piercings. I will ONLY go to Evolved from now on. I went in today as a walk in for an industrial around 3 and there was a WAIT(shedule an appointment please). I am a very loud outgoing person, but I have high anxiety when it comes to being pierced even though I have been through the process dozens of times, i turn into a small child...Clair was AMAZING with me, she knew how to comfort me, calm me down and make me feel cared for, all without making me feel small for getting so worked up. I feel she truly went above and beyond to make it a comfortable experience.

I've been coming back to Evolved Body Art, and Chris Churchill for my ink for over 15 years. So when it was time for my son to get his first tattoo there was no other place, or tattoo artist that I trusted more! Always an excellent experience and amazing work!

Evolved Body Art are very organized and efficient in checking in appointments and walk-ins for service. There is a wide selection of quality jewelry to choose from, which I have not witnessed too often in other shops I have visited. The staff demonstrate great customer service and are knowledgeable in their craft. I was placed with Amanda and she is attentive and truly values the satisfaction of the customer! I had MG tattoo me for my first tattoo. Words cannot express how amazing the experience was! Not only was MG incredibly polite and accommodating, his work is phenomenal! The line work is perfect (which is something you dont say about a tattoo unless it is absolute FACT) , everything is straight, the placement and font are impeccable! I got my helix and daith pierced here and my appointment was amazing! They help talk you through the jewelry that you’d like and what would look nice for your piercing. Then for the actually piercing, Brody helped talk through the process and really made me feel more secure and safe with getting my ear pierced here. I had a PHENOMENAL jewelry discussion with Sarah, who helped me choose two new pieces for my stacked nostril piercings, and a new piece for my septum. My metal and style preference were considered along with my piercing placement. Sarah also helped choose back up options. Amanda changed my jewelry and was also amazing! I had a great tattoo experience with Travis Adkins. I’m very happy with my Circe tattoo. I have also had great experiences with Nicholas Schukay who has been putting together my horror leg sleeve and today did a lovely opossum for my other leg. His detail work is amazing.

I came in as a walk-in, staff were friendly, helpful, and as timely as could be on a busy weekend. Check in was easy. My artist, Brian, made sure the tattoo was where I wanted, the size I wanted, and the design I wanted. He was also very helpful in offering his own expertise when I asked. He made sure I wasn’t too uncomfortable throughout the process, checking in frequently. Checkout was easy and uncomplicated, aftercare instructions easy to understand and follow, and they were kind the entire time I was there. Will definitely be back!

Just got my septum re-done since I took it out last year. I had an amazing experience with professional employees that take care of you from the time you walk in to the time you leave. The one downside is it is very pricey. However it is high quality jewelry and is handmade in house so it makes sense but for example, for my septum today it was almost $300 with tip (my Jewelry was $182 and I tipped 18% of $238). I walked in at Summit Street for lobe piercings and a double helix. I was immediately greeted and made to feel welcome. Jared was my piercer, and he made it a great experience. Evolved is one of the most reliable, respectful, high-quality body art studios I've ever been to. They've been able to re-pierce and fix my earlobes, and they have given me a septum and nostril piercing as well as a tattoo. I have consistently had amazing experiences with the artists and piercers throughout my time in Columbus. They have great deals (like the birthday piercing) and are focused on your long-term body modification goals. They are respectful and ask for permission to touch you every step of the way, constantly checking on you and making sure you're comfortable. Everyone has a detailed knowledge of body modification and is able to answer my questions. I will continue to visit Evolved as long as I'm in Columbus.

This was my first tattoo. Very efficient check in process. The front retail area, work stations, individual bathrooms were all very clean. My artist Holy was incredible and walked me thru every step. First was the wonderful tattoo art work that she presented and then delivered. Anytime I needed a break during the 4 hr session she made sure to take all steps to keep the process clean and sterile. Home care steps carefully described. I would recommend this artist and tattoo shop.

Easy to make an appointment online and I didn't wait long after checking in. My piercer listened to what I wanted thus giving me exactly what I described/showed reference photos of. Excellent experience!! Joe Stevens was my tattoo artist and he is a total pro. Very easy to work with, gave me exactly what I wanted, and had great suggestions in the design. The consult was easy and Joe is a very friendly guy. Tattoo went on today and I am very happy. I worked with Lacey on a arm piece for my kids. I wanted the style to have a watercolor effect that brought out the more natural appearance of the animals and flowers I picked. Lacey 100% nailed it. Not only is she an awesome artist, she's also great to be around. Lacey checked in throughout the session, making sure I was comfortable and that the final product was exactly what I wanted. I will for sure be reaching back out to do more work with Lacey in the future.

Highly recommend. Took my 7 year old to get her ears pierced and it was an excellent experience. Nick did her piercing was incredibly kind and gentle. I have been wanting to get my nipples pierced for a few years now and decided impulsively that today was the day. Went in as a walk-in and wasn’t waiting for more than 10 minutes. Everyone was super relaxed and a great environment to ease any nervousness you might have. In the spring of 2017, I reached out directly to Joe Langley of Evolved on Summit looking for my first art piece. Not knowing much about body art, Joe talked with me and discussed everything I needed to know. I brought in multiple pictures of the art piece I wanted, and listed what I liked about each piece and how maybe we could combine all of my small ideas and preferences into one. He did an amazing job, sketching and editing the tattoo design as needed to fit my liking. I even remember being in contact with him via email asking questions and speaking outside of the shop about color preferences, etc. Overall, almost five years later and my thigh tattoo looks amazing. The color pops like it was just done months ago. I wouldn’t ever think about going to anyone else for any of my body art. The biggest shout out to not only Joe himself for taking all of his time and effort perfecting this for me, but to everyone at Evolved on Summit for their professionalism and cleanliness! I will for sure be booking with Joe again very soon in the near future. Very, very impressed!!

I’ve been pierced by both Holly and Dave and I have found them to be incredibly educated, professional, and talented. Holly has all of the energy and positivity in the world while Dave has a very calming vibe. He actually did my first piercing (an industrial no less) and I’m not going to lie, I probably would have chickened out of that first one without his serenity. They are both amazing piercers. The selection of piercing jewelry at Evolved is second to none. I don’t have firsthand experience with tattoos at evolved but I have friends with some from there and they are amazing.

Great service, especially during a pandemic. I wanted a tattoo of Catra from the new She-Ra as 1. she is awesome and 2. I am on the board of a local cat shelter and volunteer there twice a week. Joe Langley did a great job recreating her for me and when she needed touch ups after she healed, that wasn't a problem getting those done. She looks great and gets lots of compliments.

Joe Langley is officially my go-to artist anytime I want tattoo work done. He completely nailed my Guardians of the Galaxy sleeve, I'm absolutely obsessed with it. So naturally when I decided I wanted to get my other arm done, I reached out to him and I'm already thrilled with that work in progress as well. There's no point in ever going to see anyone else, his work is brilliant! I also appreciate Evolved for being a safe, clean space, the artists for all being super nice, and would absolutely recommend the Summit location to anyone asking for a good shop.

My little had been BEGGING to get her ears pierced for over a year- so for her birthday I told her we could get them done. I spent a lot of time trying to find a place that used a straight needle technique AND would pierce a toddlers ears. From the very first conversation, Evolved staff were extremely professional, kind, and willing to answer all of my questions and address all concerns. As soon as we arrived to our appointment, everyone addressed my daughter on her level. The artist we worked with (Sosa) made sure he had my daughters consent the entire process. Been here twice for thirds, a helix, and my industrial, and have had such an awesome experience both times! I just want to say Jessica was awesome!!! I took my 15 yo daughter to get her nose pierced, and Jessica educated us on what we needed to do to ensure her piercing doesn’t get infected etc.. She was very sanitary, and changed her gloves after each step. Jessica was so patient and very sweet. I definitely recommend her on doing your piercing!!! The ladies at check- in were very nice as well.

So accommodating with our individual needs per piercing, brainstorming to find perfect fits! My friend had gotten light headed and Amanda was awesome during the recovery process! Will be remaking an appointment with AMANDA! Only downside is that we were waiting for a long while , past our appointment start time. but I can’t complain over something trivial like that! :)
