My husband had his third surgery within 6 months, all three were here. Doctors were great, anesthesiologists great, nurses upon surgery floor great. Why do they get a 1 star? He ended up leaving AMA no one was cleaning his surgery site after the first night. When he got home his skin was stuck together the bandaging was no longer where it was supposed to be and I have no idea where to pull to try to clean the area. His call light would be answered over an HOUR of pressing it. Absolutely disgusting. I could see if they were understaffed or extremely busy. But what it is is you have a handful of GREAT nurses running around like a chicken with their head cut off meanwhile all the others are standing around, on their phone, pacing the halls, or chatting it up with the others. Work ethic is almost gone. Doctors hospital should be embarrassed by their aftercare team. I feel sorry for the ones that actually do what they are supposed to do it makes the whole unit look horrible.

They would not contact my emergency for me after I admitted myself into the hospital. GO TO RIVERSIDE!!! I would rather die than step foot back into this hospital. I admitted myself back in mid-February, before the covid, and if I could go back I would have risked n drove to Riverside which is where i was thankfully transferred to anyway. The ER staff treated me like garbage and a prisoner. I will never ever ever step foot in that hospital again..I will die on my couch before I call 911 and get taken to that dysfunctional place that's called a hospital. This place is unfit to take care of any living thing..my dog deserves better care than they give you here. Don't waste your time, money, or risk being mistreated here like I was, GO TO RIVERSIDE!!

I and my nephew had pulled into Doctor West parking lot to talk about medical choices. We were Only talking quietly in our cars. Hospital Security pulled up began interrgating us, then demanded our drivers licenses, took pictures of them and told us IF we came onto the property again we would be charged with "Criminal Trespassing". We were quietly talking. Not making any problems. What a welcome. Can anyone say Starbucks ? Since when is quietly talking about medical choices against the law ? I will NEVER go here for Anything ever again. The supervisor guard was hateful , spiteful, disrespectful from the start of his conservation.Whether it was needed to have medical treatment, their security decided for us. Never go here.

Three of my family members have died here and I'm just now leaving a review after finally being done mourning. They were spaced out, one being in the 90s. Okay, the other being a minor case of pneumonia. They didn't ask his IMMEDIATE family whether or not they wanted to do a surgery to save him. They let his step children, not even related to him, make the decision not to so they could run through his insurance money. Finally, my aunt died there from cancer. That one still hurts but is understandable, yet I can't help but think about when my breathing was terrible at a recent visit and he said it was a panic attack. My tongue was swollen! I had to go to a different hospital 25 minutes away to basically get my concerns taken seriously. I am not kidding, this place is a huge liability lawsuit waiting to happen. I hope they dont respond with that cliche "your concerns are important" message because multiple visitors of this place have never had their concerns taken seriously!

To each his own. From the time I entered this facility, to the time they rolled me to my car, nothing but excellence. I, met a young officer at security to begin a remarkable experience. It was like a game of chess. Every piece strategically placed for ultimate victory. Hospital food was excellent. People, over the top with kindness, caring, knowledge, experience and oversight. There is nowhere nor any staff on this planet I would want to hold my life in their hands. Knowing they have taken every step in putting me on the road to recovery. I, can't thank all of you enough for the greatest hospital stay of my life. Sincerely, Donald☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

Avoid this hospital, go to OSU. You’ll thank me when you get your bill. A minor ER visit will be $1500, even for something as simple as a bloody nose, and your copay does not go towards these charges. $600 to administer a shot. 1.) you will not receive any pain medicine. Cut your finger off? Tough luck here’s some advil. Even though I wasn’t even in the hospitals system. 2.) Nurse practitioner in the ER is NOT an Ohio Health employee, and as such will not be punished for anything that was done wrong. He was rude and purposely hit my wound with his finger to make sure I was numbed, even after I said I wasn’t. The pain was so bad it affected my vision and I nearly passed out. 3.) Wounds will not be cleaned, and will be bandaged incorrectly. I had to spend 1.5 hours the day after trying to peel the gauze off my wound, which they gave no follow up instructions on care. 4.) I had to go to Ohio State after going here to get proper wound care, instructions, and pain medicine (which they prescribed with no hesitation seeing the injury and the amount of pain I was in.) 5.) Patient advocates don’t have any authority to do anything except tell your story to deaf ears. The Ohio Health network does not care. They want your money, and they will get it. Also, good luck talking to a billing supervisor, or anyone in charge for that matter. This experience was absolutely awful, and plain embarrassing for what is supposed to be one of the largest hospital networks in the state. Don’t spend your money here, drive an extra 10-15 minutes to OSU. You’ll see an OSU doc, you’ll get billed by OSU, and you’ll only pay OSU, and you’ll be treated much better. Again, avoid this hospital at all costs. It’s easy to see why OSU is so much more successful.

The WORST emergency room! Dr. Morales and her staff are awful!! Charging for services that were not even performed and don't truly care about the patients. Received a bill for over $2500 for having a sore arm. Avoid at all costs! After their response... We already contacted "customer experience" and nothing was done after waiting for over two months. You didn't take any responsibility for what your staff put my wife through and you made her explain the embarrassment to multiple staff members when trying to get it resolved. All this did was upset her time and time again, ending with crying each time. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNCARING!!!

I first got here I heard the techs talking negatively about patients. The Dr that seen me was amazing. I have a serious inner ear infection. Was told my ear drum may pop after I'm released. However I've been waiting for an hour for them to get the medicine and release papers. While I've been listening to and watching the desk personal ignore my call light and talk about Netflix. This place should not be training anyone else on how to treat patients!

This is absolutely the most phenomenal Emergency Room!! Even when extremely beyond busy they take the time to talk to patients, to evaluate the situation and they are completely thorough in testing and treatment. They treat patients like fellow human beings instead of room numbers and are friendly, empathetic and they care. I think every hospital in this nation could learn from this place!! The medical staff at this hospital all deserve medals of excellence, each and every one of them.

I’ve been here for 3 going on 4 hours for some pretty harsh flu like symptoms that has gotten worse over the last week or so. The doctor said she was going to bring me some congestion meds but only brought Tylenol and that was after sitting here for 3 hours. I had a chest x ray done 2 hours ago. The waiting room was nearly empty but it still took an hour to even get into a triage. They haven’t tested me for flu or strep or any other illness. They haven’t even listened to me breathe through a stethoscope. Not sure if anyone will help me today or not

Horrible place to have your loved ones. Nationwide has NICU in every hospital in Columbus, that’s monopoly. I wish there were children’s hospitals in this city. We had babies here at the family birth center run buy the notorious Nationwide. No one Should go here to deliver their babies. They treated us so badly. Rude staff and bad services even the rooms are so small that they should Never be approved as a hospital bed.

If I could give 0 or negative stars I definitely would after tonight. I have lived in the Lincoln Village area for my entire life, so obviously if there is an emergency doctor's west is where I go. I even delivered 2 out of my 4 children at doctor's west in 2021 and 2022 and had an amazing experience. After tonight I am more than disappointed and I will never come back to the Doctor's west emergency room. 1st of all the triage nurse was absolutely amazing and so sweet to my son. My 2 year old little boy had an accident and cut his chin open. I didn't have the gas to make it downtown to children's, I feel so guilty now that I didn't. After they checked my son's vitals and took him back to his ER room we waited about 20 minutes for the dr. Not too bad of a wait for the ER. He came in, asked what happened, BARELY checked my sons wound and immediately said he's going to put some cream on his chin to numb because he needs stitches. This dr didn't offer my child any ibuprofen or tylenol, he didn't ask me if I gave him any, he didn't ask me if he was running a fever... all he asked was "what happened? " when he came back in to apply the numbing cream I asked for pain medicine for my son and he said okay. When they came back in to give my baby his stitches, the dr not only said he was excited to give my son his stitches....yes. he said that literally to the 2 nurses in the room, I'm excited to do this! With a smile on his face! After they restrained my baby and started, my baby said ooouchhhh... then when I asked my son if it hurt the dr turned to me and said...."do you want to wait outside? " when I tell you it took everything in me to not go across that bed and knock him around. Please know that if he didn't have that stitch needle in my sons chin...I would have! After my baby got his stitches these idiots literally walked out... no band aid on his stitches, no gauze and tape, no ointment, they didn't even clean it before or after!...NOTHING... and still no ibuprofen! At this time my baby is so sad and ready to go home. As I was walking out I requested a band aid since they didn't give him one. Then the nurse asked if we were leaving because he was just waiting on an approval from the pharmacy for his ibuprofen...I said yes we were leaving, took his papers and walked out the door. I promise, my baby did not deserve to be treated like that... hes a BABY. If the doctors who work at this hospital have a problem serving EVERYONE in this community then they need to not work at a hospital or be a doctor period. I am more than livid. I will be contacting a lawyer and the naacp... there is no way he should have been treated the way he was treated. I know very well that emergency room has cameras in their rooms... doctor's west: you need to evaluate your doctor's. Your nurses are amazing... I am more than disappointed. I am way more than angry. Your HR department will be hearing from me! Edit: I have contacted customer service and I am not satisfied with them just "noting" my concern and I will be contacting a lawyer.

Front desk attendee needs to sanitize between each person. When an elderly man walks in and says he has just tested positive and then continues to cough and touch the front desk and you refuse to wipe it down, that is a problem! I sat and watched as three people came in touching the front desk and the keypad and not one time did she wipe the counter down with sanitizer. The doctor's west is worried about the spread? I'm starting to believe otherwise! I wouldn't be surprised if those people that come in behind him do not get covid as well! You should be ashamed of yourself!!!

Every person that I met in this room came in and was polite courteous, always keeping offering help or info on every thing. Doctors was also great and informing.. Good was very good at decent pricing..I highly recommend this hospital to any one..thank you all at this hospital from room 220..

Long wait time in excess of 8 hours while in severe pain. My case was not covid related even though the ed waiting room was calm. I understand medical emergency outs based on priority but i just want to get seen in a somewhat timely manner while in this much pain is difficult to say the least. Praying it's nothing serious.

It was on December 14th that I came to the E.R. here and it was because of kidney problems. Had a problem with the security guard on first shift acting towards me like I was an inmate and I was in jail. It was a long wait due to hospital was understaffed. The wait was worth it though. The medical assistants, nurses, medical technicians, radiology technicians and doctors were very good and helpful. They ask good questions, the take the time to listen and make sure they understand what's wrong and why you came. They were patient and took the time to explain things to the best of their ability and to where you the patient could understand. Along with that I felt comfortable and safe in the emergency room and saw that they cared and understood what was wrong and wanted to do everything possible to help me. I am also with reason to believe that if the patient's condition was serious and or life threatening, they would've wasted no time in getting that patient in.

I have mixed reviews on this place, for the most important reason my mother passed in this hospital 23 yes ago, she went to the ER the day before, she was told to go home with a chest cold and Tylenol 3, she was rushed to the ER the next morning and was then put on life support and that day passed away, I felt like it was their fault, they could’ve done more the day before. But on the other hand I had my baby there 5 years and it was amazing, the best nurses and doctors ever!! So again mixed reviews both good and bad.

ER care was great! I was in and out quickly and the nurses and doctors were all attentive and pleasant. Hopefully I never have to go to the emergency room again. But if I do I wouldn't hesitate to go back to this one.

Would not recommend this hospital. My wife was in today having a procedure. The office personal was very rude to me as a "ride home" and not a husband to my wife. I was shoved from room to room with all her belongings. At one point I got a locker to put her items down but wasn't allowed access to it. I was also scolded by the desk clerk for not knowing a name of the doctor. After stepping out for air I returned and was scolded again by the main desk clerk. After ending back in the room after surgery they brought her in and told us to get dressed and for me to pull up out front. My wife couldn't stand on her own I dressed my wife so I could take her home. What compassion....

Last night I took my daughter to the emergency room, I wish I had caught every last nurse, doctor, technition, people who we've encountered. I want to publicly thank you for helping Vi with her broken arm from ice skating and casting it. One nurse even sang with my daughter while they were making her cast. You all did an amazing job! My other daughter had her cast from trying to be a hero and those nurses did such a great job. The staff here made my kids feel special, I love you all, thank you!

Doctors West used to be the best hospital in columbus. But here lately it has went downhill dramatically. Nobody wants to LISTEN to the patient! And every worker there are constantly on their phones, or having conversations with cops instead of doing their actual jobs! Horrible hospital!

Waited 3 hours and 40 minutes to get a room in the ED while other patients who got there way after me got rooms before me, just to be given some nausea injection that made me feel hot and made my heart rate go up very high and told I didn’t have a UTI. I wasn’t told the side effects of the nausea meds until after they had given it to me later, by another doctor. Said my blood tests look good even though I’m anemic and have a high glucose. I’m also pregnant. Finally discharged two hours later, I was there for nearly six hours. Never coming back to this hospital again. Usually I like OhioHealth but this one seriously needs to work on wait times especially in the ED. Do not come to this hospital if you need to be seen quickly.

Don’t go to the ER here. Went there with a torn ureathra/groin injury. Waited 5 hours and all they did was take my blood pressure and tell me to follow up with a primary care physician. They were more worried about my blood pressure being high but it was only high because I had ran out of patience just wanted to leave. But I thought to myself “no I better wait this could be serious” and then they wouldn’t even give me a chance to talk and speak my concerns. Screw this place. What really makes me mad is that I called from outside in the parking lot to ask if I would be able ask for a urologist and they said they always have one on call. But once I got back there I got told “we don’t have a urologist”. They offered me a topical numbing agent lidocaine and told me to follow up with a urologist.

Nurse Mary, who was my son’s nurse tonight in the ER, if I could give you more than 5 stars I would! You were such a blessing to have as his nurse. God truly sent you to be my son’s nurse. You went above and beyond just with your uplifting words ! Thank you for all that you do, you are loved and so very much appreciated! May God continue to bless you for doing His will and being such an amazing nurse! This world definitely needs more people like you! Continue to be the light that so many others need. Others may talk about you, or treat you differently because of your Faith, but God is real, and He loves you so very much!

This place is like the county jail! I was there 3 times for the same reason (pretty serious stuff) and not once, was taken serious. I went to riverside hospital the next day and had a diagnoses within two hours! The waiting room is full of addicts withdrawing, people with barf bags, rude Staff, that not once came to clean that disgusting lobby and I was there for 7 hours. In the waiting room. This place should be shut down!

No compilations during or after delivery Day. Shift and night shift don’t communicate. To save there life have had the same iv in the arm since Tuesday it’s now Thursday and everytime they “need blood” they Just poke again. No one knows what’s going. I have Stage 4 cancer. Going through chemo and radiation treatments. I had gotten pretty sick with infections and dehydration. I actually live across the street from a major hospital. However, I have been to Doctors West before (and the hospital across the street). And As sickly as I was I chose to go from Grove City to Galloway to Doctors. I had experienced the care before and it was far better than the hospital across the street. While at Doctors, I was treated with the most kindest and gentlest human beings of ANY hospital I have ever gone to in my life! After being admitted, everyone who came in contact with me was caring and attentive. The food was 5 star! I could not have felt cared for any better. I simply cannot say enough about my care at Doctors. I’ve had two ER visits and 2 admitted in a matter of months. As I was still shaken from finding out that I had cancer, the staff from EVERY department had gone far and above to make me comfortable and bring me back to health. I am especially appreciative of floors 2 and 4! Thank you Doctors so much🫂🫂👏.

Came into ED with severe kidney stone pain on 5/29 and ended up getting admitted and having to have surgery done everyone from ED staff to my whole care team and surgeon were phenomenal and made sure I had the best care possible during my stay . Doctors hospital was there for me when I really needed it. I had been to the ED a few times in the past and each time everyone was wonderful.

It is never fun being in a hospital. The personnel did their best to make me comfortable. They were professional and considerate. Everyone left the room asking if they could do anything for me. I believe the tests were performed as quickly as possible. My treatment was superior and I received outstanding care. The nursing staff took personal interest in getting my lab work efficiently done so that I could be discharged and return to my home state. I live in Tennessee. I was disappointed to see the average rating for this hospital and I believe under the current administration the rating will improve to above average soon.

My dearest 5th floor: My mom has been on the fifth floor of Doctors Hospital for ten days now. I have spent 22 hours a day with her for eight of the ten days. I cannot express my gratitude for the fifth floor staff. She has had at least ten different nurses, and the same number of PSAs. ALL of them treated my mom so well, with SO much patience. I know they are doing their job, but I saw people going above and beyond to help my mom and me. Thank you for the love, care, and even hugs I received. You have been a gift that will be carried in my heart for the rest of my life. Alexandra Fisher Ps: my beautiful Columbus seen from the 5th floor!

I have had to have been seen by the OR, ER, ICU, ERT, CAT Scan, X-Ray, MRI and many of the wonderful nurses and other staff here. All better than other places I have had to be in. All have gone out of their way to make me as confrontable as possible, even if all that could be done was an encouraging word. There will always be someone which has had a rough day, but over all I could not be happier with the treatment I have required and received during my stay here. Tough when necessary, but always as caring as needed. As a Marine who has put his life in the hands in a Navy Corpsmans ability, (a Marines best friend in combat), I could not ask for better treatment, as these first responders have my trust just as if they too were on the field with me. Outstanding job to all of them and thank you for caring so much, Semper Fi.

I was in the emergency room off & on over the weekend. Overall my experience was great. The only negative was that a nurse came in and told me in a VERY stern voice to "Tone it down" because apparently my relentless dry heaving & throwing up was being an annoyance. There wasn't an ounce of empathy in her voice. I honestly couldn't believe she spoke to me that. I did report it to another nurse. Hopefully something was said to her.

Quite possibly the worst medically related experience I have ever had. Not only did the doctor at the ER treat me like I was stupid for coming in - but she failed to provide any sort of help or information regarding why I came in. Next time if you can't help someone - don't talk down to them, just say there's nothing you can do. It's really that simple.

Where do I start? I was extremely nervous to deliver my baby boy at this hospital as I don’t know anyone who has. Let me just say, I am VERY pleased with everyone at this hospital from the doctors to the custodian/room service. I had a long stay at the hospital due to complications & each day EVERYONE had a smile on their faces and made you feel welcomed & comfortable. Each and every one of my nurses took WONDERFUL care of me and my baby. During Covid, I was only able to have one visitor at the hospital which my my child’s father so I didn’t really have the support from family and friends except from over the phone. But the entire staff made sure to make up for that. They were there to answer any questions, help me through my emotional breakdowns & as a first time mom, helped me with calming my baby & much more. I can’t express how wonderful of a place this is and I would give them 1000000 stars if I could. Thank you for making my first experience a great one!

The security guard is very rude. When People of color walks in the ER he speaks to them in a very harsh tone vs how he speaks to the whites that come in. I have been sitting in the lobby waiting to be seen for about an hour now and his interactions hasn't changed they're very consistent his or the other guards. I'm only giving a low rating because of the rent a cops. My care was top notch as always the Nursing Staff were great!

Poor bedside manner, not very personable and or empathic! I would never recommend nor go to this hospital myself! Especially the ICU dept, where they should be the most patient and understanding. But then there is Nurse Robin on the 2nd floor what a jewel! She has renewed my faith in this hospital and my trust in medical personnel. She actually took the time to listen and hear my concerns and spoke to me not at me regarding my husband's care. Gold star 🌟 to her, and God bless her for going above and beyond to explain EVERYTHING and give me the reassurance the everything will be all right!

Put it this way! I wouldn’t take my dog here let alone another family member! This place is a joke and customer service and bed side manner is the worst!

They treated us very bad after I took my son to the emergency who had a bad wound on his forehead 2inches wide open wound..already lost a lot of blood .. they told me as long as he is not in coma he is like any body else waiting ...and his skin is split in half and and we are holding it together ... I would never visit this place and wouldn't suggest to any body I knew to do so.

I got excellent care here. Very friendly staff. Went in because we noticed that my leg was larger than average, and I am prone to getting clots. This was the only hospital that had a technician working for the doppler scan. Of course they found 1 and they put me on heparin IV for 2 days.

Had the best medical experience with ENT, Dr Klapchar. Had surgery at Doctor's and had lovely, caring staff and multiple visits from managers checking to make sure I had everything I needed.

I always go to OhioHealth Doctors Hospital not only because it is nearest to my home but also has the kindest staff. I always come here whenever me or my family has a medical problem. People in the ER are the warmest ever, they always treat me like a priority no matter how minor my medical condition is.

My mom called me from the recovery room panicked because she said the staff was talking about a tornado that had touched down in Lilly Chapel. She is from Lilly Chapel! Tell your people that they should not discuss outside news while patients are still trying to wake up from heart surgery.

The emergency facility is truly first rate and I appreciate the care from the staff and the nurses. Unfortunately had to visit when I was under the weather and it was a breeze getting in and being seen by the medical pros. A wonderful exerience, considering the alternative. Thank you again

I have taken myself and family members here and I would always come here first. They are friendly, knowledgeable and less busy than other ER’s because they are not a trauma center. Perfect for a broken bone or illness. For emergencies they can’t handle transferring to a trauma centers are easy and you get care will you wait. I Highly recommend this ER.

The seating in here is disgusting. The chairs in the emergency waiting area are filthy. I literally want to gag. I rather stand or sit on the floor.

I had surgery here and it's been an awful experience. I woke up from anesthesia in intense pain and began crying, and my nurse said "Shh, there are other people around." The nurses and doctors here that actually care about their patients seem to be few and far between.

My sister unfortunately had to spend approximately 3 days at Doctors West on a ventilator in the ICU 💔. Although all staff knew what the outcome was going to be for her, they ALL on the 3rd floor ( room 389) treated my sister with grace, compassion, dignity & excellent care even up to her last breath. Especially 1 nurse, she treated my sister like a queen, I feel Brittany went above & beyond with my sisters care & her family throughout my sisters short admittance. I also cant forget Charyl, very understanding & compassionate lady! Although ( per my request) all the staff are straight foward & honest, they still do it with excellent care & compassion ❤️. I will ALWAYS be grateful to Doctors West 3rd floor ICU for the excellent care they gave my sister! I know without a doubt my sister knows Doctors West to excellent care of her ❤️. THANK YOU TO 3RD FLOOR ICU STAFF!

I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone at Doctor's Hospital for the premium care I received! Dr. Rose was tremendous and very kind, as well as nurses Lilly, Grace and Malina on floor 5. I must also mention the kindness of transportation Lori and Zach, and the food service ladies, Sharon and Jamie. The many lab techs, including Rose, were exceptional. Finally, the care in the ER room 17 was exceptional. Thank you for your continued care for the ill! Your are a very talented group!

I have been to this ER twice now about a year apart and both times was very pleasantly surprised by how quick I was taken to a room as well as the friendliness of the staff, from check in to the doctors and everyone in between. Not that I want to be in thr ER again, but if I do, I know at Doctor’s West I will be treated well

Nurses were great. Doctors, ok. Don't spend much time with you. The nurses aides, however, were terrible. Not all of them but quite a few. I had to listen to them complain about their jobs, their coworkers, the patients. They were incredibly loud in the middle of the night. The way they spoke I was in awe that they made it through the schooling required. They sounded like uneducated trash. I had one or two who were terrific, but the rest were terrible.

Went in on a Tuesday around noon, they were not busy, I didn't have to wait in a waiting area, they took me straight to a room. The nurse was caring, listened to my issues, and very informative about how to care for my injury. They were quick, they ran some tests, ruled out the more serious concerns, and I got my results back and it was nothing too serious and I was able to go on my way and I'm starting to feel better, the pain I've been enduring from the torn muscle in my side is almost gone, still hurts to sneeze. By the way I was on my way home within just a few hours, I normally don't like hospitals due to the fact it normally takes 3-4 hours just to be seen, if you see me in a hospital that means I'm in a lot of pain. Thank you to the staff for their care and services!

My father had been here for a follow up after he had surgery for a colon infection , which when he first came in for you guys failed to find and seem to just love prescribing Tylenol for anyone with pain..as when I can you guys did the same! Anyways, he had his wallet stolen by cleaning person who does laundry . He asked cameras for the room be checked so he can confirm as he had all his cards and cash in there . The wallet that was left on top of his clothes remained but the cards and cash were gone once she left and he checked. He requested a manger . Never got one. Security did nothing. Was told cameras can’t be checked for “privacy”…oh who exactly ? The cameras are IN THE ROOM with the PATIENT who mostly sits there and gets recorded if anything …anyone who works there is obviously willingly being recorded. What’s the harm in checking cameras other than to protect your thieves of employees? I am sick that you guys would do this to someone you guys KNOW can’t work for 6+ months due to this issue with the surgery and proceed to do nothing to assist . No case even opened of course. I can’t even begin to go into detail of my awful experience here as well… worst ER ever ! Avoid if your Latino. I’m seeing a pattern with the treatment we get.

Horrible nurses who need some type of cultural sensitivity or implicit bias training. I over heard a nurse say “that sounds like a bunch of Bull” when my mother who is not a native English speaker describe her pain. Did she think I didn’t understand and couldn’t hear her? Like there’s a curtain there not a brick wall. I can’t imagine how they treat other individuals who don’t speak any English that are all alone.

This hospital saved my mother's life and I am extremely grateful for it. After a nightmare ordeal of a different ER refusing my mother care in London, Ohio , we came here. They immediately took care of her in the very serious condition she was in and got her back to being my chipper mom. They treat Covid patients like real people who just happen to be sick and not like people who have "the plague " or something. My mother was very satisfied with her care, and they treated her exceptionally well. As a matter of fact we are switching over to the doctor who treated her here because we were very impressed with the quality of care. From what my mother said they also have a mean strawberry shortcake....might want to look into that while you're there. Lol

I fell down my stairs and laid on the landing for four days. My emergency contact was my oldest daughter who decided she didn't want to respond and left me on the floor for four days. On the fifth day with no food or water and after screaming and crying out for days, my next door neighbor took thought for me and called an ambulance. I was taken to Doctor's West and the emergency room staff were SO KIND AND COMPASSIONATE. They were amazing! I got up on tfloor after having nothing to eat or drink for days and the first nurse was the nurse from hell and the rest were so wonderful

I have been here twice recently. Everyone was incredibly kind. I want to highlight some nurses and Doctors in the Labor and Delivery ward. Jenilee and Brandy were so kind to me. They treated me with such respect even after we found out I was not in preterm labor. Dr. Sefton was also amazing. He made me feel comforted and not like a bother. I need to find a way for corporate to see this!! Thank you!!!

Received the worst possible care when I was going through benzodiazepine withdrawal. Doctors and staff who treated me at the time were completely ignorant to the fact that benzo withdrawal is deadly and dangerous. They wanted to discharge me the same day I arrived, probably because I did not have health insurance. I was in the ICU for a couple of days, hullicinating out of my mind. Seizuring, hearing things, seeing things. Of course it is 100% my fault that I was in this situation to begin with. But doctors are supposed to be caring, kind and compassionate no matter the case. I received the worst possible care and they literally almost allowed me to die. Luckily I am alive and sober today.

The people are very nice in robbing from my moms health insurance! Came in for a rash and after treating a phantom heart attack and now a uti God only know when she will go home. But at only 1 test per day it might be a long spring!

I was on floor 5 room 520 and I had to get surgery to get my appendix removed, and I can say I’ve never felt more comfortable and taken care of. Your team of nurses, doctors and surgeons are some of the most professional and kind people I’ve ever met. You guys did everything in your power to make sure I was comfortable and my pain was properly managed. The nurses were very attentive and helpful, talkative and reassuring. The doctors were very informative and relatable and did everything they could for me, and the surgeons, Dr caustic to be exact, did a splendid job at my appendix removal and so did his team at informing me about the surgery and how the anesthesia works, and being very reassuring about the odds of mishaps. I hope I receive some sort of mail from you guys to give an official review about you all so everyone who helped me tonight can get recognition for being outstanding at their job. Thank you all so much again. You guys saved my life. -Ian Otenberger

I’ve been to this ER many times and I’ve always had a good experience. I was treated kindly and efficiently, I was listened to well by all of the staff, and I believe that the doctors here really spent time making sure they found out what problems I was having and how to best fix them. I was treated fairly for pain thankfully and was given appropriate pain medicine after one of my accidents. I will always choose this ER over Riverside!

So I struggle with sinus real bad, it's irritating and it's hard to lie flat. I had a MRI! Listen it took 20 min not 45 to a hour like in the past at other places. She put me on head phones with my kind of music, She waited patiently for me to get past my fears. Finally what did the trick was she offered me a rag to put over my eyes and it relaxed me, it was soothing for my eyes and it got me through it. I give this MRI Tech with blond hair that took care of MS Davis a 10 if I could. Thank you so much for for your kindness and patience with me ❣️❣️❣️
