My partner is this for esophageal cancer. We went in yesterday for feeding tube surgery. NO COMMUNICATION AT ALL. Went to the desk every hour to find out what was going on..was he still in surgery, recovery, could I go back? No answers no updates. After SEVEN hours of sitting in a waiting room I finally called the hospital and asked for the nurses station. The response.. " Oh you mean they didn't call you ?" Exhausted and frustrating. They finally let me come back to find out he was being admitted and they were waiting on a bed. I explained he had 3 appointments there on Friday 23 - the first one at 7:30 am. They said don't worry they were taking him. I just found out he was discharged at 7am and they dropped the ball. Was never taken to appointments. No calls from them. He can't talk to call me. So he's been sitting there for 3 hours. Beyond livid

With all this stupid construction around here it is ridiculous that they don't find an easier way for people to get to the front door of The James. The usual way to drive to get the Medical facilities is totally screwed up now and convoluted because of the construction. I parked at the 12 ave garage--it says that there is a bridge to the medical facilities on 3rd level. Well --there is a bridge but only staff can use it currently. So--I went to ground level as it directs you to do......and all of those doors to get in were locked!!! 😖😖😖 I had to walk probably about half a mile to get around the huge building to where I needed to be. They also had some of the sidewalks blocked. 🙄🙄 I am healthy so I was able to do the walk but people older than I am might have a problem with it. The docs and staff are GREAT.....but it is ridiculous that it is next to impossible to get to the front door.

The worst possible care. Nurses and doctors don’t communicate among each other. Can’t do a simple procedure without risking your loved ones life. Nurses don’t follow protocols for things as simple as checking blood pressure. Incompetent. Negligent. Overrated. They may have the best doctors but it’s the nurses who will risk their patients lives. Also wanted to add one of the many horrible things my family encountered. Made my 86 year old grandfather pee in a public hallway while he wanted over 8 hours to be seen at the ER and not one single nurse or staff offered to help cover or find him somewhere to properly use the bathroom.

I have never seen such poor care in my life. I am a registered nurse and my partner is currently at the James due to his leukemia. He is supposed to be in a clinical trial, but there is not one medical professional there who has a clue what they are doing. He had to wait 13 hours wandering the hospital with an IV in his arm waiting for a room. He was told they thought he had been discharged. That's very difficult when he was never admitted. He was supposed to start the new drug the next morning but they had to wait for his blood work results to return. Over 6 hours and still no results. As mentioned, as a registered nurse myself and being one for over 25 years, I have never been so ashamed of the medical profession. I wish there were another alternative.

The absolute worst patient care my family and I have ever experienced. Don't risk your family's life. Go somewhere else try Cleveland Clinic or Mayo. Its worth the drive to save their life. Too many issues with the James to list. There is not one good thing I can say about this experience. Horrible. Please trust me on this and save your loved ones life. So disappointed. I expected more or at least common courtesy, empathy and kindness especially when dealing with cancer patients.

My first time there. My sister and I attended his appointment for the first time since he was accepted in to this research study. I am truly grateful to the staff of this hospital. Everyone we came in contact with through out the day was not only professional, but sincere and understanding as well. I could tell my parents fell comfortable there and my mom was treated graciously and by being included in his health care it helps her to understand all the ins and outs of his treatment. All this I'm sure not easy to do. She is included in the process completely and was never spoken down to by the staff. I'm forever grateful he was accepted into this research study. I can't thank you enough James Cancer Hospital. Wish the photos were better, but nerves got the best of me. Its an interesting facility as far as an architecture experience. The buildings are mixed new and old smack dab in the middle of Ohio State. Will be back soon, hopefully a little more calm. I will get some more interesting pics. I wish I never had to return, but I so so the story continues. Prayers please.

My husband is diagnosed with cancer. We drove over 2hrs for a 1PM appt and admittance. It's now 8PM and we are still waiting for a room. He was given a bottle of water and bag of chips. NO one ever checked on him. He missed his evening meds because he was told he would receive them here. Was told over 2 hrs ago his room was being cleaned. Now told his room is # 4 out of 5 to be cleaned. This has been a HORRIBLE experience and now we have to worry about how is care will be while addmitted.!!!!

The rooms are clean, spacious, and have amazing views of Columbus. Food is great. Doctors and nurses seem to care but are in and out of your room quickly numerous times a day. The staff is friendly. Actually, everyone you come in contact with is friendly. Riding in the elevator everyone talks to each other and says "have a nice day" when exiting. Also, they validate parking so it costs $3 for many hours in the parking garage (not sure exactly how long.... At least 4 hours maybe longer). It's about a 5 minute walk from the parking garage.

Worst hospital ever! I have terminal pancreatic cancer and had to spend my Christmas there. I have never been treated so terribly anywhere. Watch out for those eighteenth floor nurses no compassion! I moved to another state so I wouldn't have to die with those Nazis.

My mom's wounds got worse instead better. They gave her less than 24 hours called us back to then say, only 1 person can be here unless comfort care... no coffee , nothing in waiting area. DO NOT RECOMMEND Now, after the family was called in to say she had less than 24 hours charge nurse maggie came out to say we couldn't stay there 1 person on room no one in waiting area. "But we can change her status to comfort cate so we could all stay." Pull the plug so we can all stay....wow. cold hearted

I will never take another family member here. My mother went to an oncology consult with emergent issues. She has stage 4 small cell lung cancer with metastasis to bone, liver, brain and other sites. She is in severe pain bc of multiple tumors compressing nerves around the spine. Two hours later she was directed to the ER for admission. Scans were done, multiple specialists consulted deciding that there was no emergent issue. OVER 30 HOURS later, she was still in the ER...it gets better. We finally complained and asked to be discharged. The nurse had no idea who was over her care because she had been admitted up stairs hours before with no beds available so she was in limbo in the ER with no doctor, no orders, little care....miserable and in severe pain. The doctor didn't want to write any orders, let alone the discharge order, bc "she wasn't his patient." When we finally were able to see her admitting doctor from upstairs...who had yet to see her bc she's still in the ER...says well I hate to discharge you bc it's really a logistical and legal issue. You're my patient, but I've never seen you. He finally agreed to the discharge and we left. The poorest management of a healthcare institution I have ever seen. Absolutely ridiculous!

I'm at the Abercrombie & Fitch emergency room! Busy place, even at 12:41 a.m. The professional courteous helpful ladies and gentlemen nothing but good things to say about this hospital! I'm on the burn unit now and they take a very high level of care of you up here on the 9th floor however when you first come in if you have the backpack or a purse be prepared to have it gone through better than if you were at the courthouse I actually felt kind of violated by the security guard putting his hands in all my stuff even though I didn't have anything to hide he searched it thoroughly but I didn't really appreciate it. And it takes a long time to wait for everything here but the treatment is top-notch! 🙏. Overall I do feel lucky to have OSU burn team taking care of me! Everyone seems compassionate professional and thorough!

I wouldn't take a fly here! The lack of care and compassion is beyond comprehension! Nurses have FOUR patients each, yet patients go hours begging for pain meds! You'll be lucky to see your nurse a few times in 12 hours. Aides....ya right! Our best friend has been a week without a shower!! Been in bed almost the entire time. Why isn't physical therapy trying to walk him? Days without nutrition in a peg tube? Maybe that nurse should go days without any nutrition! Patient has a bleed, yet all we are doing is just giving pint after pint of blood without actually trying to find the cause! There was never a game plan from the team, docs and nurses don't communicate. No one knows any answers...well at least that they will share. This hospital should be ashamed!! Maybe send every single employee to Cleveland Clinic for training on how to care for patients!! I pray no one else has to go through this from the single worst hospital I've ever stepped foot in!!

Don't even get me started... security is a joke, patient care below sub par. Staffed way short beds open everywhere. All u ever hear is i don't know, I am sorry about that or that's not supposed to happen...No one knows anything and the ONLY focus is the bottom line...

When I first knew we were going to be treating my dad at the James, I was relieved. It’s “The James.” THE Cancer Hospital. However, over the last month I have seen firsthand the incompetence and complete lack of communication between nurses, doctors, etc. over and over again. I have watched my father suffer due to their negligence and inability to simply read a chart. They do not communicate with family/caregivers/poa as needed to be sure there is an understanding of their loved one’s diagnosis and prognosis. I have spoken with patient experience and have yet to see any improvement in the quality of care. I understand this is a “teaching hospital” however, if you cannot teach these students to communicate properly, and treat the whole patient, then you are absolutely failing in their education. Not to mention, have a little respect for your patients who are processing their life changing diagnosis’. Do not yell across the hallway to your coworker, “are you okay in there? Oh okay, thought your patient was dying!! Ha.” I wish you could have seen the look on my father’s face when you said that.

This is a very bad service. I booked an appointment and waited three months for them to follow up on my health condition. Three hours before the appointment, they called me to postpone the appointment for another two months, knowing that I have health problems from which I suffer. Who is responsible for them? I think they have no responsibility and that they are not serious.

Well I had surgery to take care of a ovarian cancer mass and got sent home the next day. But before I got sent home my leg was swollen up and painful. I have a history of blood clots and felt that I had one before I left the hospital. But I was told by the nurse and then a Dr that I was fine. Before I got sent home another Dr came to check on me, and said " we should probably check this, But you will be fine" a day later had to to go the ER at Riverside because I had a couldnt breathe and they found a blood clot in my lung. Which nearly killed me. If the DVT would of been checked out with a scan they would of found it, before it went to my lungs. I will never go again there.

Another update. THEY CANCELLED MY APPOINTMENT AND NEVER CALLED ME!!! They do NOT CARE ABOUT PEOPLE. RUN DO NOT GO HERE! THEY DO NOT CARE IF YOU DIE!!!! UPDATE---THE ABSOLUTE WORST EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I called the number they replied with below and I HAVE STILL HAD TO CALL EVERY DAY AND THAT NUMBER HUNG UP ON ME!!!!!!!!!!! WHOEVER SAID THEY CALL PEOPLE BACK, LIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is not my first cancer battle but my first one trying to use the James center. Everyone told me I’d get a callback I’d be so impressed and satisfied. Well, that didn’t happen. 12 phone calls, my records faxed twice and I cannot get a call back! EVEN THOUGH THEY PROMISE TO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! People I talked to really weren’t all that nice except for two who were okay. Impossible to get any help from the melanoma center. Frustrated! If I would give zero stars if I could. Unfortunately this isn’t my first cancer rodeo and I work in healthcare so I know how Care should be. So I called the number you left me and they transferred me and hung up! ZERO STARS Another update. THEY CANCELLED MY APPOINTMENT AND NEVER CALLED ME!!! They do NOT CARE ABOUT PEOPLE. I would give the 6 out of 5 stars if I could. This wasn't a hospital experience, but I emailed The James about a school project. However, I will not publicly say what it was about for legal reasons. But they were fast at responding, helpful, gave actual true information, and weren't rude or obnoxious. So therefore I am well over satisfied with my experience with The James.

They have bought in to the propaganda being presented by anti-opioid zealots who stand to make money from investing in pop up rehabs and a certain addiction treatment medication. Because they drank the Kool Aid instead of basing decisions off of legitimate research, I’ve heard of many cancer patients living and dying in pain and being given Tylenol for terminal cancer pain. That’s disgraceful. And it isn’t just 1 or 2 I’ve heard of.

My husband has APL, the 15th floor which is the cancer floor. Does really well treating the cancer. If however you have any underlying issue, they are not good at coordinating multiple issues, and came close to killing my husband due to poor care several times. If you have to go to ICU , run run fast, find somewhere else for treatment. The ICU has real issues , REALLY poor care, nurses with some of the worst attitudes I have ever seen. To top it off there was a gnat infestation in the ICU. Yes it got so far that it was an infestation!!! Be were of ICU.

Never again will I seek medical attention at this facility. Not only are the night shift rude and so non compationate that 3 hours in the waiting room, 3 different patients were tackled by multiple security personnel. It was very obvious that the patients were mentally unstable. I understand that they have a job to do, but this behavior was totally undeserved and ridiculous. Finally after get back to be seen by a Dr. 5 hours later, my husband's Dr. Rolled her eyes at him for asking a concerning question. This hospital is definitely a waist of time, and not to mention filthy. It may as well we a jail intake. I wouldn't bring my dog to be seen here honestly. Patient beware.

I’ve been an oncologist patient in my hometown for almost a year. I had high CRP, IGM, WBC, Neutrophils, blood lm platelet issues, monocytosis, kidney disease, and early cell markings for blood cancer. My oncologist was getting spread over another county on top of her workload in my town so I requested to be transferred to St James to have a second set of eyes monitoring my blood work and progress. I’m a burn pit veteran from Iraq that was also exposed to radioactive waste at Camp Geiger in Lejeune. Everyone here has been very friendly and professional even at my first appointment I had a little hiccup with my kidneys. I had two surgeries after that and one was at OSU. They still got my labs ordered for the oncology department while I was in the ER. I couldn’t believe how well I was treated…(I’ve had 16 surgeries before coming here) and the level of professionalism doesn’t compare to anywhere else I’ve been. My only issue was not getting pain meds fast enough while my kidney stone was stuck! Lol. The oncologist Dr Vaughn was very professional and went over the bloodwork quite thoroughly with me. I’m lucky that the last 4 labs were clear of no cancer but if my cell counts go bad again they told me to schedule an appointment as needed.

My cousin was diagnosed with Oral Cancer after having a tooth pulled which wouldn’t heal so the dentist referred him to an oral surgeon who took biopsies to be sent off for testing and unfortunately they came back positive for cancer. He was then sent to The James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute in Columbus, OH and his surgeon was Stephen Y Kang MD/ENT-Otolaryngologist. Dr. Kang and his team was phenomenal as well as professional, courteous and attentive to any questions we had and always took the time to make sure we understood everything. We are also very grateful for the excellent care he received during his stay on the 21st floor of the hospital!

Terrible experience. Dr ordered MRI arteriogram. Got call from Andrew the tech that Radiologist Dr Wagner thought this was wrong test for my condition. I tried to get holrd of ordering physician who never called back the radiology Dept. Dr Awan should have called me about the severe differences between these test and instead ignored, his patient. Dr Walla, the resident never understood my concerns and told me to do the test ordered with no explanation and if becomes a Dr he would never treat me. Absolutely worst quality Dr and cares nothing about patient concerns. Came to hospital at 7 am still no answers, my concerns not addressed and is now two hours later. Will not come back.

They did great with my girlfriends tumor surgery, but we came back today because of complications with the drainage and healing and probably an infection. Even though we called ahead and made plans to drive up from Cincinnati, a 2hr drive, we have been waiting 8 hours. This is insane. We called ahead and now its late evening and all of her doctors have left for the day. CMON!

I suppose to have surgery tomorrow on 1/21. Nurse told me to wait for the hospital to call for confirm time of arrival and surgery time. It's Monday 1/20 at 4:15pm and I still haven't receive any call. I tried to call during my lunch break. The clinic is not open because of Martin Luther King holiday. I called James and nobody answer my question, but told me to wait for them to call. Up to now in still confused whether I'll have my surgery. I think it's a bit redicalous. Patient has already suffer from worries, why put patient on doubt???

The James is top notch in cancer care - my sweet husband was cared for by almost every floor there and I can’t say enough good things about the entire staff- everyone from housekeeping to physicians - he was cared for so kindly and in his last week on this earth they helped me get through as best any compassionate person could. I know not everyone has this kind of experience at healthcare facilities but for us the James is the only place to go - we tried Mayo Clinic we saw drs from NIH in Maryland- they didn’t compare to the James. I Thank them for everything- he survived 14 months from stage 4 pancreatic cancer most don’t survive that long.

Daniel Prevedello was very patient and thorough during my recent appointment, especially while we discussed a fall and how it might impact my brain tumor. I am on blood thinners for other medical conditions and he helped me through this scary situation. He had also helped my transition in past years. I appreciate his care now for over 11 years! Thank you to the wonderful team and for their dedication as well! :))

This rating is NOT for The James Cancer Center…they have been amazing. This rating is for the parking ticket we received. A few days before Christmas, we were referred to The James for a recurrent cancer diagnosis. We are disabled veterans, parked in a handicapped parking spot and received a $53 violation for being slightly over the line. We were not impeding on any vehicle or person trying to get in or out of their cars or pedestrians walking past for that matter. Talk about kicking you in the gut when you are already down. DO BETTER!

I'm sure they do amazing research, but there's a department of workers in this hospital that have 0 regard for their patients and are borderline incompetent. My grandmother almost died due to their negligence and neglect; Please save yourself the stress and heart ache and send your loved ones elsewhere; they will die here from malpractice.

The hospital is immaculate and efficient. The nursing staff are both caring and professional. I felt safe and cared for before and after the surgery, not to mention that Dr. O'Malley is the best! As I look through the comments, they echo our family’s experience over the last two years. Communication with our family has been a problem. I realize COVID has played a part, but weeks without an update is unacceptable. This lack of communication has brought significant pain to our family. There are comments on this thread from years ago describing the same situation we are experiencing. Please fix it.

The communication in this place is beyond ridiculous,no one talks between offices, let alone tell you what is going on,my mother has been coming here since February.for her bladder cancer I wish they would learn things since reading reviews seems to be a problem. She is there now and they left her in a waiting room for more than a hour and half. Waiting on more blood work since they messed the first batch up, just plain bull. I am so glad she has one more trial day to go. I hope the surgeon is better at getting things going than the medical oncologist she has and the trial people.

Unfortunately billing is an absolute disaster. I have been waiting for months for a sizeable refund after fighting a battle with my insurer. I thought my nightmare was over after they agreed to cover my necessary operation but it turns out it was nowhere near done. Although my EOB has been turned in for ages the hospital system has been ignoring me for months and countless supervisors have made broken promises to help correct this situation. Don’t trust this place to take care of you. They don’t care about causing financial harm by holding thousands of dollars in overpayment.

My father was transferred here due to covid and it was the worst experience of our lives. Their communication was HORRIBLE and made our lives a living nightmare as we waited for our 2 calls a day because we were unable to be there due to their covid rules. We didn’t get a case manager until 5 days into his time there, because she was on vacation... We finally got a case manger and began to understand that low level, float nurses were on his case. When we were called to find out that it was the end, we forced them to be human for an hour and let my mother be there to hold my father’s hand as he passed. When she walked into the room it was horrendous. They had left him an absolute mess, clearly showing there was no concern for him or even a thought that he was a human life. They have lost their empathy and their humanity. Knowing she was coming in, they still left him in the prone position. I wouldn’t refer anyone to this hospital for covid purposes. On several occasions their communications were inconsistent in that one nurse would tell us one thing and then later the doctor would tell us the opposite. The experience with this staff was as shocking as the horrible outcome.

Not as good as expected. Staff had terrible communication, the dr was always running an hour behind and they made my dad worse by talking him into a research pill that gave him a terrible side effect and then couldn't fix it for him. I will never recommend them.

I cannot begin to describe how kind and compassionate the doctors, nurses, PCAs and everyone is here. Thank you for being so kind to me. Thank you for listening to me and making me feel that people still care about other people. I am so grateful for everyone here.

The doctors are not well with treating sickle cell but of course a1 with cancer patients!! Sickle cell patients are overlooked and don’t get much treatment even in their worse of pain. It’s all about the “blood labs” showing the details and if your anything like me (who has also studied blood) you know sometimes your labs are not correct or not caught up to what your body is actually feeling. They could do way better with the number of deaths they’ve had with patients with sickle cell disease over all ! I wouldn’t put my son in their hands. I’d move out of state first. My mother disagrees with me keeping care in their hands as well. She is really not settle when i have to go while having complications!

Dr Agrawal is a caring and fantastic doctor. Everyone here is so wonderful made me feel comfortable and feel like I was important and they cared about me. They made sure all my questions were answered. I feel comfortable that they are doing both surgeries. I believe they are doing every steps to make sure that I'm alright. I am thankful for everyone here at St James and I God bless everyone who works there. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Couldn't ask for better care and servic for yoursel or love ones. <<THAT was before his cancer came back. When my late husband first went to The James, he had excellent care and service. His cancer went into remission and then 7 months later it metastasized into his lungs. The convinced him to go to clinical trials wher he became just a number. The Doctor who was in chargve of the clinicsls at the time was Dr Anterpreet S. Neki. He was also his doctor when he was first diagnosed. The program my husband chose ended up being the wrong choice. He got very sick, thin and ended up getting a pace maker. No one including Dr. Neki ask us how he was doing. Then he got sicker (not from the cancer but the cheo) we decided not to go back. Again no one from his team asked how he was doing. When i queston the about it they didnt hav an answer. I told them that Kelli had called me, they said that it was her job then I knew all their kindness was an act and that he was jus a number in their eyes.

Dealing with cancer or the possibility of having it is a tough road and The James at OSU really knows how to take care of you knowing the difficult road you're on. They definitely want to help and we appreciated our time down there and got the answers right away.

Doctors and Nurses are great but there is a complete lack of respect for a patients time. Typical wait time is easily an hour and I’ve had to leave twice after having my blood drawn because I simply couldn’t wait any longer.

Terrible place!!! If you aren’t a candidate for surgery they will just send you home with Tylenol and let you die! Go anywhere else but here. My father went in with cancer all through him. They did all their tests and scans. Found out surgery was not an option and sent him home with a Tylenol prescription. Went to Marysville got him in in 2 days, and was starting radiation the next week. The James center does not care about someone’s life. They just want to do experimental surgery. Please go somewhere that cares!! If 0 stars was an option that’s what I would give.!!

This place is a joke. My son has been fighting cancer for YEARS. Still more appears. He had back surgery earlier this year. That back has since broken 4 times. They are doing only what they need to do to stay out of trouble. I do not know why he keeps going back. They are not going to fix him !!

Will not come back. My daughter was scheduled to have surgery at 11. At noon she was given a nerve block and meds to help her relax. We were told that her doctor was almost done with his previous case and she would be going back shortly. Four and half hours later they finally take her back. We were told that the previous surgery took longer than expected. I understand things happen in an operating room. I understand that surgeries can get delayed due to tramas. But now I am sitting in the waiting room scared that her doctor did a 6-8 hour surgery before operating on my kid without a break and might be tired. Not to mention the staff outside her room was very noisy. It has been an overall bad experience.

Dr Cosgrove and his staff was phenomenal. He completed a surgery on my 17 y/o daughter, he spoke with her multiple times, educating her, me, resolving our/her fears and concerns and spoke with us for 20 mins prior to surgery again reassuring us and comforting her. I couldn't of asked for a better doctor or staff absolutely wonderful.

My mom died a horrifyingly painful and traumatic death because of this hospital. Less than two months after being diagnosed with kidney cancer, a nurse at this hospital overdosed my mom on Dilaudid. My family had to watch her suffer and we will be traumatized for the rest of our lives by what happened there. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.

I’m thankful my mom was able to have her surgery and treatment here. We drove 1.5 hours to the James and it was well worth it. Everyone we met was kind and helpful. I highly recommend the James. I appreciate everyone who helped my mom during her stay! Thank you to all the healthcare workers for being rockstars!

Over the last 5-6 years I have received treatment and surgery for several conditions which included 5 hospitalizations. I have absolute trust in all who have and continue to care for me. The multiple Drs who have treated me or his/her staff ALWAYS call me back and at times call me to check on my progress at home. I Have had surgery and many treatments and tests performed at the James. The staff who provided those services have all been kind, considerate and very professional. I recommend anyone go there if in need!

Very disappointing experience. When my dad was admitted, we waited for 6 hours in the lobby for a room to open up. My poor dad was so weak and tired and the best they could offer him was to lay on a tiny bench in the waiting area. The nurses were not attentive or observant. When we finally arrived to his room, the nurse instructed him to walk across the room to the bed from his wheelchair. He was so weak and was in no position to walk! Thank goodness we were there to tell her to wheel him over to the bed and help him. Unfortunately, we were not in his room days later when a nurse was negligent and sat him up in the bed and then turned her back. He then fell and hit his head. It was 100% preventable and unnecessary. We had very little communication with the doctors and felt so out of the loop. We had such high hopes for the James, but after reading the reviews, I see we are not alone in our experience. Update - It's so interesting that there was zero response from The James on my post. Par for the course. DO NOT take your loved one to this hospital.

The James center is truly an amazing facility. Everyone I have encountered has been so genuinely nice and supportive from the greeters, to the check in, nurses and doctors. They really listen to you and what is going on. I didn’t feel treated like just another number. Their knowledge is extraordinary.

People PLEASE read before sending your loved one here. First off, OSU and the James must be scrapping low reviews somehow. There is no way they have a nearly 5 star rating with all the low reviews. Notice one thing. All the bad reviews have the SAME complaints!! Meaning nothing is getting fixed. The nurses 100% neglect your loved ones. My fathers IV started beeping and he had no energy to press the call button. For hours the machine was beeping. It can be heard on the whole floor. Nobody came to check. Countless stories of neglect. If you need cancer treatment this place is the worst. You are just a file for these doctors who think they know you better than you know your body and symptoms. Loved ones go in and end up WORSE here than when they entered. Read the reviews. They just mask everything with pain killers until the cancer eats you alive. There is 0 accountability because in Columbus ohio state is infallible. Please please be careful going to the James. Whoever is in charge needs to be fired.
