I normally have a good experience with this ER but not yesterday. I felt like I wasn’t probably treated or listened to at all. No IV for fluids, No blood drawn to check my blood count or make sure anything was not out of the ordinary. They rushed me in, and rushed me out. Then when I asked the nurse why I did not get fluids, she got super defensive, like I have no right to question my medical concerns. She then storms out the the room telling me she wasn’t even my nurse and to drink Gatorade. This nurse was HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL. One of the reasons I went to the hospital was for fluids. Ended up leaving this hospital, and going straight to a different location and got fluids and found out I was seriously anemic and insulin issues . Very disappointed with this hospitals performance. I hope they start treating everyone equally, and not just rush you out because you look fine on the surface. More medical professionals should take African American sickness serious. It was a sad day to see this hospital become part of the problem.

I wish there was a way to give zero stars. I came in with face swelling and numbness and had already seen a dentist to confirm that was not the case. I have had vertigo and several other symptoms. The on staff doctor looked in my ears and literally that was it. Then told me to follow up with an ent.... when I asked for a second opinion knowing that that was not the issue as I have been experiencing memory loss, slurred speech, and several other symptoms for a while, the discharge nurse decides to tell me that sorry that’s the luck of the draw when it comes to doctors and unfortunately there is no other doctor since he’s about to leave for the day. Then when asked to leave a note on my chart stating that I was displeased so that way when I follow up with the ED manager (who by the way you can only leave a message for) he said I don’t know what notes your speaking of. I am not wasting my money and paying for the service I did not receive. I am leaving this review as I sit outside their building. This honestly seemed as they were trying to rush me out of there and we’re trying to charge me a bill for literally no help. With what he did I could of gotten the same service at the little clinic for only $80. With those kind of symptoms you wouldn’t send someone to ent. I’m no doctor but that’s clearly not a ear nose and throat issue. He should of ruled out the worst of the worst possible outcomes first. Instead of leaving me high and dry and expecting me to pay for it. I will never go back to this worthless hospital ever again because of this experience. The discharge nurse told me he didn’t agree with it either and said that I had a good case. His name was Joe. I don’t have time or money to spend to go to another hospital. Just called the customer experience line and they told me it could take up to fourteen days to have a follow up. I am beyond upset with this experience and would not recommend this to anyone. Because didn’t even ask any details besides when it happened and that was it. He instead told me what he couldn’t do. I’m so over this whole place.

The first time I went in they gave me the wrong prescription so we had to go back and get a new one. Then had to go back a few days later because was having severe neck pain and was very stiff and thought it was potential meningitis and waited 5 hours in the emergency waiting room to never be seen. I also told them I had chest pain and it hurt to breathe but apparently that was not very “severe” as they base who goes in first on severity. TERRIBLE hospital and WORST customer service I’ve ever encountered. Will never return, and if I could give a zero I would. Also the one police officers at the door was very very rude both times I was in. Dublin Methodist should reconsider who they hire.

I just delivered my third child, all at different hospitals and by far out all three hospital experiences, this was my favorite. Every single person on staff from the nurses, midwife’s, lactation consultants, doctors, cleaning crew, food administration etc. were incredible. They took their time to talk with me, were genuine, very competent in their role. I felt more taken care of here than I have at any other hospital. I delivered in Maryland with the first, OSU with the second, and then Dublin Methodist with my third. I cannot recommend this hospital AND their staff enough. They all went above and beyond for me and I appreciated it so much. Dr. Charles was my doctor and I would recommend her to anyone having a baby. She was personable, listened to me and my concerns, was very laid back, was able to answer all my questions and I never questioned her or her recommend suggestions or treatments through out my entire pregnancy. She was so consistent as well, which I appreciated. Thank you to everyone at Dublin Methodist that made this such and enjoyable and memorable experience!!

Don’t go to the ER ! They have the worst bedside manner. I know this review won’t do much but I feel so helpless as an individual. My boyfriend sat puking in the waiting room for 30 mins and when I said something to the admitting medic I was scolded. Then when called back, I had to wheel him back myself. He was too dizzy to walk and was in a wheel chair from the moment we arrived. The attending Dr. never gave us a diagnosis and we were rushed home with two nausea Rx. When he asked for wheel chair to leave the nurse made him walk and only when he stumbled would they give him one. When asked if we should be concerned about COVID, then said he could get a COVID test at urgent care. He was puking and sweating profusely as we left. I pray something serious isn’t wrong. I don’t want your customer service number. I want a hospital that really cares, takes medical ethics seriously and practices medical due diligence.

We sat in 2 different ER that day. My husband had a severe infection in his leg. They longer he sat the worse the infection spread making walking impossible. There was no wait , the receptionist was so concerned about my husband. He got right in and was determined to have a serious cellulitis infection. He's still recovering at home. But waiting at Mount Carmel Grove City for 7 hours only to be told they are not accepting er patients was the most inhumane thing I've had to endure. If they were only taking ambulances that day why can't they tell the public? Why let at least 30 sick people sit for hours and hours tell me your next in line then they take others before you then say to you your not that sick and you won't be seen after 7 hours of sitting and waiting. TO ME THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. I won't be using this Er again.

Overall, worst patient experience ever! I arrived by ambulance and taken to room 18 near the door. The staff doing my intake was rude and condescending. The reason I came in was for sudden/recent abdominal pain so bad I had trouble breathing. Using my medical and therapy experience I was calm. When the staff left with her condescending attitude, my mother arrived. I repeatedly said how much pain I was in and I was in tears. The doctor arrives and she’s asking me questions that intake just did. Through the excruciating pain I answer. Went to CT. The staff member did not open my line for my IV and after some time blood was filling my IV line almost back to the pump where my saline drip was coming from. Told nurse and she took off IV line. Doctor comes in and said I’m having muscle spasms and gave me prescription for muscle relaxers. It’s been 3 days since and my pain is still just as bad. I take the meds but still feel no relief. Doc said no white count and nothing seen on CT scan. It is evident that something else is wrong because my abdominal pain is still going, when I cough it’s so bad I vomit, and my stomach is still hard in the upper right side along with pain in my back behind that area. The BEST PART when I couldn’t breathe from the pain it took 30-35mins to get an inhaler. I feel the staff treated me like a junkie but I hardly ever even take meds for a cold. I didn’t even take any when I had COVID. Just very disappointed and still in excruciating pain 3 days after leaving the ED. Update: I was contacted by 2 top executives and 1 department head each promising to do better by their patients. Given how COVID wrecked black/brown communities and the disparities black women go through at hospitals in regard to their pain, I really hope this is true.

Went to the emergency room on November 30th second shift...I was having severe shortness of breath and chest pains. That doctor kept saying you can breathe your oxygen is at 98 pecent. I could hardly speak let alone breathe his bedside manner was horrible the nurses or unattentive and they just act like they were robots they were rude and act like nothing was really going on with me. Well I ended up having pulmonary edema I have never had a bad experience at this hospital until now guess it all depends on what time you go in and who was on staff

My wife and I are having our first child here and today is 11/4/2020. We had a healthy baby girl. The staff was very helpful. Once they took us to the second room I was obviously tired from being up for over 24 hrs. And as soon as I’m trying to lay down and get some rest this old nurse on third shift her name is Donna. Told me that I’m going to need to keep my mask on....while I sleep? Not to mention they won’t even let my mother in law come visit. I would never recommend anyone to come to this hospital.

If you require a visit to an ER, you would have better service and better results from going to a pharmacy clinic. The staff was rude, curt, and didn't seem to truly care for their patients and getting them healthy.

The ER room service is very slow.. we got there at 12pm, we were told that they can't do anything until the social worker was there. My sister has High blood pression, PTSD and depression.. basically we waited from 12pm to 3pm, to meet the social worker. Nobody was checking on us!!!3:20pm we are still waiting on the social worker. These employees should know that People come in ER for a reason, bcse they are very sick and could not wait for far appoitnments thus they risk to pay more.. They need to do better!!! upadate: so the case worker showed up around 3:40pm and told us that the can't do anything for my sister since she was not mentally crazy. We left this place and went to Ohio access and we were well received and my sister got her mental evaluationa and she is being taken care of!!! stay away from this place

Was sent home way too early, (was back in hospital 3 days later) with what turned out to be mostly WRONG prescriptions, I laid in bed watching tv 99% of the time (10 days!!!!!) left the room ONCE for ONE procedure and a knot in my already descendent stomach, which just perplexed my doctor at OSU Wexner; who took amazing care of me/gave me an ACTUAL diagnosis. Im seeing results, and finally on the mend, no thanks to Dublin however.

This ER is ridiculous. I went here for severe abdominal pain after being told by my physician to go to the ER. I was waiting for 3 hours and was never seen while other people ahead of me were called for minor things. It seems that they don't care unless you are actually dying. I will not be returning.

I've had 14 other ortho surgeries & have recieved a check up call the next Mon....not #15 at this hospital. Unfortunately I have more surgeries coming up but I will first make sure he doesnt do his surgery at this hospital.

The hospital facility is pleasant, but the communication between the nursing staff and those concerned friends and family members calling in for information about their loved ones ranges from OK to downright abysmal. I tried to inquire 7 times in a 12 hour period about the condition of a friend who had undergone hip replacement surgery. Four of those times I was transferred to the nurse on her floor only to have the phone ring several times until the line dropped. It was only after my 7th call - 18 hours after the surgery - that I was able to receive the patient's room and direct phone number. Ohio Health Board Members, are you reading and listening?

Like others I understand whats goings-on, but I am a guardian for my sister. I explain and keep her calm. Stating you might ask me to leave if you get busy, do to the virus. While someone sits barefoot, with their feet up on a stool reading. I think you might want to get you things straight. Barefeet to are dirtier than an extra person.

Generally, I've had good experiences with this hospital. However, I was recently in the ER. I gave my license to the admissions person, and she completely messed up my address. Because of this, I never received any bills, and a couple of them were in danger of going to collection. If you do use the ER, confirm they have your address correct before you leave.

The nurses took very good care of my 4 year old. He broke his arm at a birthday party yesterday. All of the exam rooms were full, 2 nurses came out to the waiting area and check his arm out and got the order for the X-ray started before we went back to our exam room. When he cried in pain, the nurses came fast to check if there was anything more they could do for him. The Dr that came in and put his splint on his arm was very nice, told my son how strong he was being and after my son gave him a hug. They told me exactly what to do and what not to do very clearly, and gave us pictures of the x-ray. As any hospital it did take a while, but they made us feel comfortable during our stay. 💪

Dr. Julie Pultinas was amazing. I was referred to the ER based on symptoms only to find out the ER wasn’t necessary however, they made me feel heard, reassured and respected. I cannot thank Dr.Julie enough for the effort they put into my care despite the ER being unnecessary for my condition. The patience, amount of effort put into explaining and helping me understand what’s going on and how to help it just felt amazing.

Gave birth to my daughter at Dublin Methodist via C-section and it was a completely amazing experience all the way around. Being a first time parent the whole experience can be scary, but everyone in my care team was understanding and comforting.... not one time did I feel alone in the process. From the time I checked in for the surgery, to the time I left with our beautiful baby— everyone was great! Our dietary man In post-partum was also amazing and checked in with us for every meal during our 3 day stay... such a kind man. I wish I could remember everyone’s name to thank but I don’t..—Dr. Hahn, Dr. Ezzie,Mitzi-RN, And everyone else—Thank you!

9-19-19 I had sinus surgery (Boris Karanfilov is the best ENT in the world!) To be honest I had never heard of this hospital and was a little nervous about having my procedure there but wow~ from pre-admission testing to being released was above and beyond my expectations! Everyone was very warm compassionate and understanding (I was a little emotional at times lol.) I was treated like a queen and I am so thankful to everyone that helped me get through my surgery.

I had a middle of the night emergency with my teenager & thankfully I chose the right hospital to go to. Walked right in & got checked in & immediately was taken back by Jessica the ER nurse. She was super friendly & funny. Dr Zelinski was very informative & got right to the problem. After being admitted upstairs, Christina & Alexa made sure we were comfortable. Dr Shoemaker, our surgeon, has an excellent bedside manor, especially w teenagers! Even Dr Stevens, the anesthesiologist was great. Not wanting to leave any other nurses out, we also had Laura & Marissa tending to our needs the next day/shift ,they were great as well. Great care by all. Thank you for taking care of us!!

The absolute worst ER I've been too the doctor dismissed me from the start and did absolutely nothing not even put a stethoscope to my chest, refused to listen was very rude and spoke over me trying to voice my concerns and practically refused to do anything simply because I had been there in the past with a similar issue but not the same. Tried to tell me I'm too young and healthy for heart issues despite the fact I see multiple doctors for chronic heart rate and blood pressure issues which I wasn't even there to say I had something wrong with my heart I was having several pain though. I don't cate that he had his opinion it was that he did no checkout of any kind and was extremely rude to me to the point I left in tears. Oh and I was told to see an er by my cardiologist if I was having pain around the area just to be sure nothing was wrong because they can't do same day visits told him that and he basically said well see them then. Please don't go here this doctor doesn't deserve anyone's money.

I went in there for a CT Scan at 7:00am and that was great it took 5 minutes. Then a guy ushered me into a waiting room where he said they would be making me a disc with the imaging. I waited for 30 minutes and then since no one checked on me I had to search around the hospital for 15 minutes before I could find someone that could help me locate my disk. I asked the lady at the front desk how long it typically takes to make a disc and she said 10 to 15 minutes. So I knew at that point someone had messed up. Very unhappy because that caused me to be late for my next doctors appointment. Very unhappy service!

I went in with stomach pain where my appendix was. They did a scan, but didn’t find anything. To the er doctor/nurse practitioners credit, they relied on their experience and recommended I stayed for observation with the feeling I actually did have appendicitis. 8 hours later, I needed surgery to remove my appendix. The nursing staff in the er and observation unit (day and night shift) were very caring, empathetic and good at their jobs. They consistently checked on me while also allowing me to rest and asked if they could do anything for me every time they were in the room. This was my first time ever going to Dublin Methodist and I highly recommend it to anyone in need of medical care. If it wasn’t for the experienced staff relying on their knowledge and not just machines, I would be in a much worse position today.

I unfortunately have needed to stay a few night at Dublin hospital on multiple occasions in the last few months due to reoccurring health concerns. Dublin hospital tried to make everything as comfortable as possible. Each nurse was warm, welcoming and caring. With my recent visit I was lucky enough to have Virginia, Rachel and Cy on multiple nights. They helped make a scary situation seem easily manageable. If my hyponatremia leads me back, I wouldn't be disappointed to discover they were again by my side.

I will never go back here again! 1 person in the lobby in front of us and we sat there for 1 1/2 hours to get a room. Waited for another hour and a half for them to send us home with a prescription for 1 tube of cream. My son is 250 lbs. and 5ft 10inches. With a rash from neck to ankle from an allergic reaction. They want me to apply this 1 tube of cream 2x’s a day for 10 days! 1 TUBE!!! Then I call and talk to someone about getting more tubes 3 hours after leaving and the lady tells me if it’s that bad then he probably needs to see a pediatrician and get an oral steroid.UMMM.. I JUST LEFT YOUR ER MAYBE THEY SHOULD HAVE DONE THAT THERE!! OMG..
