I
would
not
recommend
anyone
with
physical
health
conditions
on
top
of
mental
health
issues
to
come
here.
This
is
the
worst
treatment
center
I’ve
been
to.
I
have
a
chronic
condition,
type
1
diabetes,
and
they
would
not
give
me
my
insulin
as
instructed
by
my
doctor
that
sent
over
my
regiment.
They
let
my
blood
sugar
reach
over
300,
still
not
giving
my
insulin.
I
watched
them
allow
an
18/19
year
old
man
with
evident
physical
health
conditions
have
a
seizure
and
left
him
in
the
rec
room
by
himself
for
10-15
minutes
and
claimed
he
was
faking,
and
anybody
with
eyes
could
tell
he
was
not!
I
was
told
if
I
signed
in
voluntarily
I
could
leave
when
I
wanted,
but
they
tell
you
one
thing,
but
leave
out
the
small
details
like,
you
can
leave,
but
only
after
the
doctor
makes
a
decision
after
a
72
hour
hold..
Let’s
rack
up
that
bill
your
insurance
is
gonna
pay
to
the
max!
I
called
the
ambulance
because
they
did
not
give
me
any
insulin
after
over
3
hours
of
asking
for
it.
When
the
ambulance
came
they
refused
to
give
me
any
of
my
stuff
and
I
was
forced
to
go
back
because
the
ER
said
I
was
a
“loaner
patient”
I
felt
like
I
was
just
a
serial
number.
Even
the
paramedics
were
stunned
by
some
of
the
comments
and
“made
up
policies”
they
claimed
to
have.
A
nurse
stated
to
the
paramedic
that
FOR
THE
FIRST
24
HOURS,
ALL
DIABETICS
ARE
GIVEN
THE
SAME
AMOUNT
OF
INSULIN…
The
paramedic
literally
told
me
in
the
ambulance
how
absurd
that
is,
and
when
I
questioned
that
upon
returning,
I
was
told
from
the
internal
medicine
doctor
that
“she
never
heard
of
that
policy.”
Speaking
of
the
internal
medicine
physician,
Dr.
Schawla/Shawla,
she
was
very
rude
and
dismissive
as
well,
and
when
I
asked
for
my
insulin
earlier
in
the
day
before
going
to
ER,
she
said
and
I
quote,”You
can
wait
until
the
next
meal
because
your
blood
sugar
is
gonna
be
high
anyway”..
WHAT
DOCTOR
SAYS
THAT
AND
MY
BLOOD
SUGAR
IS
ALREADY
HIGH???
The
objective
is
to
be
proactive,
not
reactive,
especially
given
the
fact
that
I
had
been
transferred
from
being
in
PCU
for
my
high
blood
sugars.
That
is
ludicrous!
Every
diabetic
is
different,
and
type
1
diabetics
require
insulin
with
meals
and
I
had
another
nurse
tell
me,”We
don’t
do
that
here.”
Not
only
did
the
experience
here
make
my
mental
worse,
I
felt
trapped
unsafe
and
felt
my
life
was
in
danger
cause
who
knows
when
I
would
have
actually
gotten
my
meds
if
I
didn’t
call
911.
And
when
I
came
back,
the
nurse
Faith
said
I
could
not
use
the
phone,
which
was
against
my
patient
rights
CLEARLY
stated
on
the
patient
rights
policy
they
have
hidden
off
to
the
side.
I
didn’t
get
a
folder
of
that
information
until
I
asked
for
one
days
later.
If
you
plan
on
going
here
and
you
want
to
file
a
grievance,
ASK
FOR
A
FORM!!
Do
not
call,
get
a
form.
They
told
several
patients
there
that
they
do
not
have
forms
after,
the
top
boss
gave
one
to
me
the
night
before.
They
will
try
to
convince
you
to
call
a
BS
phone
number,
please
do
not
believe
them!
Request
a
form,
if
they
claim
they
don’t
have
any,
request
to
speak
to
a
supervisor,
NOT
THE
LEAD
NURSE.
Ask
to
speak
to
her/his
supervisor
and
when
you
leave,
call
medical
records
and
request
a
copy!!!
I
just
want
to
help
the
next
person,
because
from
what
I’ve
witnessed
and
even
heard
from
the
doctor
at
the
ER,
there
are
issues
at
this
facility
all
the
time,
and
people
call
911
in
search
of
help
to
get
out!
I
personally
question
if
this
place
has
actual
registered
nurses
there
because,
when
I
brought
up
how
my
diabetes
is
managed,
they
seemed
clueless.
I
was
told
this
establishment
is
not
even
registered
with
the
Better
Business
Bureau.
They
are
about
money,
and
they
try
to
keep
you
as
long
as
possible
to
get
the
most
money
from
your
insurance,
and
they
ignore
you
or
use
scare
tactics
to
make
you
feel
like
they
have
complete
authority
over
you,
and
many
people
going
to
these
places
are
already
in
a
fragile
state.
I
WOULD
NEVER
EVER
EVER
RECOMMEND.
